Welcome to Xeres' request thread!
NOT AVAILABLE FOR NEW RP
I'm currently full up and not looking for new RPs, however please feel free to message me as I'm always happy to make new contacts!

About Me

I'm bisexual, switch, and female. That was easy, wasn't it? Moving on. (Just kidding, I'll expand upon those later.)

I roleplay to develop a symbiotic relationship of exploring story and smut with my partner, respectively. To have fun and exercise creative and cooperative writing - and get smutty, of course - all rich with brainstorming and banter. Cleverness is sexy.

I’m a switch, though sub is my preference. Depending on my mood and the character I'm playing as, I can be the ruefully submissive, or the commanding dominant. I use these adjectives because I believe power play is exactly that - a game to be played. Control isn't meant to be given away freely - it's taken forcefully. It's no fun without a power struggle. I will never play the immediately compliant, belly-up, boring sub that doesn't know how to put up a fight, and I don't expect you to either.

I typically do MxF, but I'm open to essentially any gender pairings under the sun. So long as the concept is compelling, I'm willing to have a go at it.

Also, please take a gander at my kink list so we know we're mostly compatible.

Looking For
Story Progression + Character Development
I enjoy story-driven RPs riddled with smut (I'd say 50-70% story and 30-50% smut, depending on the RP). Buildup, tension, and plot/character development are very important to me, both ICly and OOCly. I want an attachment to the characters and the relationship they build.

I aim to make a connection with my RP partners, as it tends to improve the RP in the long run for both parties. Developing the characters and story behind-the-scenes is half the fun for me, so if there's ever an idea or desire that comes to mind, please share it so we can discuss and expand upon it!

Pairing Themes
The best pairings are those that are destined to conflict (rivals, brain vs brawn, opposing allegiances, etc) or have a distinct power difference (protégé/mentor, guard/prisoner, noble/commoner, boss/subordinate, etc). This creates the best scenarios for tension, buildup and payoff. Not to mention, who doesn't love a bit of powerplay? Trick question! I already said I did.

Communication
I do my best to be authentic and concise. This not only means being outright with what I want, but being honest if I'll be absent/on hiatus for any time. I expect the same from you. So long as we keep each other updated on availability and expectations, I'm happy.

If you message me, I ask that you are specific in your desires of story and characters, not a vague and lifeless "Hey wanna RP". This makes me feel you don't especially care and have no real inspired interest. Tell me what ideas you have, try to pique my interest and make me want to RP as much as you do.

Literacy & Creativity
Grammar, spelling, and syntax are all very important to me. Mistakes happen, however if I see that there is a poor, underdeveloped or outright lazy use of the English language, it will likely turn me away.

Please, embellish. Be pictorial. Go overboard and indulge yourself in descriptiveness. It engages and excites me and makes me want to give more in return. I love painting a picture for my partner and I expect the same courtesy. Unless it's very situational for the plot, I prefer 2-3 paragraphs, typically more if possible. My opening posts can easily amount to 6-7 paragraphs, and my average response is often 3-4.

Indifferent To
Picture reference
I'm not an avid user of pictures or photos. I prefer description of a character that is revealed organically through RP. However, if there is a picture that you want to use as reference/inspiration for the story/setting, I'm happy to take a look!

Canonical characters/Celebrities
I always write my own characters. I don't enjoy being so starkly used as fetish fuel and I don't use others that way. Again, I honestly don't mind if inspiration is taken from pre-existing characters or persons, but I don't have any interest in roleplaying as or with them.

All of that aside, below are my interests. Please PM me if you'd like to get in touch! Enjoy.

Genres:
Urban fantasy (e.g; X-Files, Supernatural, Lost Girl, True Blood)
High fantasy (e.g; Elder Scrolls, Gentleman Bastards, Dragon Age, A Song of Ice and Fire)
Sci fi periodic (e.g; Treasure Planet, Firefly, Samurai 7)
Sci fi futuristic (e.g; Mass Effect, Star Wars, Cowboy Bebop, Stargate)
Post apoc (e.g; Fallout, Mad Max, Horizon: Zero Dawn)
Historical fantasy (e.g; Victorian Era England w/ vampires, Feudal Era Japan w/ demons, Viking Age Scandinavia w/ gods)

Plots:
Below are plots of varying development, with out without strict character concepts.

Grimoire (supernatural + steamgoth):
Themes: possession, corruption, master/slave, virginity, interspecies
A young woman of an esteemed family must remain behind in their family estate while her parents go away for some time. The day that they leave, she enters her father’s den – a room that she was strictly forbidden to enter. Upon exploring the contents of the room, she discovers her family's darkest secret in the form of an old grimoire. Her curiosity overwhelms her and she takes it to her room to thoroughly examine its contents...

This takes place in a sort of Victorian-Gothic setting. MC is from a high class family. She knows how to command the presence of a room and speak with the authority of one of her stature. Poised and proper, intelligent and educated... but innocent and naive, with a deep-seeded curiosity for something darker, something lingering in her very bloodline. That curiosity becomes sated with the knowledge of her birthright... A demonic pact. When she summons a hellish creature from the book, it doesn’t take long for her to realize the power she holds, and the possibilities within - or she isn't able to control the demon and is then put under his control. Multiple demon characters a possibility.

Underworld (urban fantasy):
Themes: interspecies, supernatural, fighting/wrestling, roughness, protege X mentor
Nothing quite like fighting for your life for profit to stoke the blood. In the underground ring, there is one rule and one rule only: no weapons, all else goes. A newcomber enters the ring, money and her will to survive keeping her on her feet. However, as she delves deeper into the underworld fighting scene, her opponents become more inhuman in their abilities, and the more bizarre things she is witness to - and a victim of. Before long, she's so beaten and bloodied she doesn't know if the next fight will be her last, until a she encounters a stranger that may turn the tide to victory after victory... for a price.

In the deeper rings of underworld fighting pits are the supernatural. Humans deemed strong enough to compete on the novice level are brought in - mostly for sport, like a dog versus two dozen rats. Each match they win they increase in rank and soon are pitted against less and less human opponents. My character is fresh to the scene and catches the eye of a spectator who wishes to help her survive, compelled by whatever reason you deem fitting. Whether that means getting her out before her her mortality takes hold, taking her on as a student, and/or opening the doors to a different world by giving her powers of his own - this inevitably bonds them, resulting in or the origin of their more intimate relations. Your character could be vampire, demon, werewolf, something that could offer her a leg up in the world. You could also control whatever opponent she may be up against during fight scenes, if that is of interest to you.

Force (high fantasy or sci fi futuristic)
Themes: interspecies, telepathy/telekinesis, hypnotism/mind control, pseudo-rape
A war-stricken world (or galaxy). An ambassador is assigned a diplomatic mission to a neutrally aligned city-state on a neighboring country (or planet). This culture is attuned to nature (think ancient pagan cultures - Celtic and Scandinavian) and is less technologically advanced, but developed and sovereign nonetheless. During debriefing, the ambassador is informed that a percentage of the humanoid race of peoples have a preternatural ability - what many call esperism - and that he must make contact with is one such individual. He must seek an audience with her and ensure an allegiance - one that could ensure his own lands' (or world's) safety.

As the story unfolds, your character explores this beautiful foreign culture (not necessarily humans - could be something more elven/alien) and learns first hand what "esperism" really is. This ability is much like magic in fantasy settings but is more akin to telepathy/telekinesis, etc. It has developed in this culture as a spiritual gift rather than some supernatural somethingorother. It's primal, and very, very sexually driven. It can affect the material world (telekinesis) as well as the mind (telepathy) and body (stimulating sensations/feelings). MC is a member of this society and essentially a priestess - high standing and an adept esper. YC is able to make acquaintance with this young female. From there, they become a duo, whether it's a simple friendship, or she offers herself as a personal guide of the city-state, or senses something within him that she feels she is responsible for and keeps him around under guise as an adviser or sexual partner. Regardless, they eventually develop a relationship of raw, powerful, sexual nature - possibly even under the irresistible influence of her abilities. This setting can be fantasy or sci fi.

The Bureau (urban fantasy):
Themes: interspecies, supernatural
The Bureau of Otherwordly Affairs deals with the political and military issues of the supernatural world that exists alongside the human world. They are the intermediary that sustains a balance between worlds. Physically and mentally trained for any supernatural encounter, their agents are the ambassadors, enforcers, detectives, diplomats, executioners and stewards for any and all otherworldly affairs. You name it, and there is a department for it. Even their hiring standards aren't entirely limited to the human populace...

On the other hand... The Hunter’s Guild is less inclined to deal with trivial matters like politics and judicial justice. They are a monster-slaying organization that is looked down upon by the Bureau, though the Bureau tolerates them for the sake of appearances. They may get along in rare cases, but the views of both organizations are so vastly different that conflict is almost guaranteed in any chance meeting. Although the Guild has their own rules and regulations, few are enforced besides "membership", which allows any guild member to hunt and exterminate however many supernatural beings they so desire.

The alignments of supernatural beings are not quite so black and white, however...

Options for characters vary as to what race, position and affiliation you wish to choose. Human or supernatural, Bureau or Guild or "Other", you get the gist. There is also fun to be had in the Bureau/Guild conflicts, as well as any sort of conflict associated with supernatural beings.

Protector (high fantasy)
Themes: powerplay, ageplay, escort x guard
After a three decades of relentless conflict, the gods have answered the peoples' prayers. It's peacetimes - the wars that ravaged the country have finally ceased... for now. The land and its people are slowly recovering. Many royal lineages and noble families have been all but demolished as a result of assassinations, political infighting, famine, touched by the strife that the common people suffered and then some. There is still death and violence, brigands and desperate deserters plunder those who have yet to return to their feet - even those who seem to be more than capable of defending themselves. A veteran has taken the only job he could find - finding and escorting a noblewoman to her distant family, one of the few remaining members of her bloodline. It is a long journey and the roads are perilous, fraught with more than just highwaymen and thieves...

YC is a battlehardened war veteran turned mercenary, recovering from the traumas of his recent past. He's fought in the war for half of his life - as long as he's been able to carry a sword. MC, the noblewoman he is tasked to care for, is hardly a woman - only just blossomed, born and raised in the war. The little family she had was lost to the war. She, too, is overcoming traumas, as YC must find her from a prisoner of war camp or some such vile circumstance, though he may or may not be resentful of her naivite or other traits. During their arduous journey, both slowly soften to one another, as they have more in common than they initially realize.

Xenophilia (sci-fi futuristic)
Themes: interspecies, mind control, cyborg/android, tentacles, heat/estrus, doctor x patient
As a pilot (or crew) flies through deep space to their destination, they spot another ship, adrift and supposedly abandoned. Upon inspection, they find a survivor and take him aboard. This survivor is unlike any alien species encountered before. Soon enough, it awakens from its catatonic state, clearly deprived of sustenance - of many forms.

There are various ways this one can be played - we can write a crew of 4-5 people, plus whatever alien creature is brought aboard, and swap between characters whether alien, human, or android. Alternatively we have a simple 1v1 with the creature and the medic/scientist of the ship who regularly inspects him - as he turns out to be male, emanating pheromones and/or using some form of mind control to mate with the lady doctor.

Apostate (urban or high fantasy)
Themes: Powerplay, magic user, prisoner x warden
Magick is evil, corruptive and uncontrollable. At least, that's what the Order would have the masses believe - an organization of anti-magickers with the sole purpose of purging the world of magick and its adepts. Magus are hunted down and captured or, if "volatile", put down. They are shown little tolerance and even less mercy. When a recruit of the order is tasked to track and eliminate a particular magus, he takes on the mission without a second thought - however the mission may be fraught with a more complicated circumstance than he is trained for.

YC is a magus hunter and tracks down MC, a magus. They fight, she is eventually overcome, though he either cannot bring himself to kill her or believes she is more valuable to return to the Order alive. She becomes his prisoner, her powers shackled by his anti-magicker abilities. He must return her to the Order for a trial and resist whatever methods she implies to be free - or take advantage of her weakened state. The setting can be in a modern city or purely fantasy (very much like mages and templars in Dragon Age).

Relinquish (urban fantasy)
Themes: vampire, uppity, discipline, master/slave, s/m
Typically, she carries herself as any CEO of a multi-million dollar company would; with strong posture and a firm tone. She is disciplined in her health and her profession, most bending over backwards to appease her. Getting a smile to crack through her resting bitch face, however, is more of a challenge. As is getting anywhere close to her personally. The alluring, powerful businesswoman catches the attention of someone even more powerful - supernaturally so. Someone who is unimpressed by her pomp and circumstance, so much so that he intends to break her.

This is at the bottom because it's the most basic and generic of my plots. I love almost any RP involving vampires. They're fucking hot, okay? MC in this plot is very much a dom by appearance, and is not bent easily. If you're looking for a challenge, YC is a vampire who delights in making assertive women into a plaything - nothing more than a bloodbag and cumslut. Open to other vamp/human plots, too.

Settings:
Below, I have no specific characters or plot. These are settings I'd love to play in and am open to plot concepts if any catch your fancy.

Spaceport (sci-fi periodic):
Cultured alien port planet/s. Think Tortuga in Pirates in the Caribbean... but in space. Or the Montressor Spaceport in Treasure Planet. Bustling marketplace, alien hawkers, exotic shoppes, and a harbour full of ships to jump to any planet within a few days. The story could revolve around going from port to port, spending most time exploring on a spaceship, or using a single port as a primary setting with the occasional travel.

AE (post-apoc meets prehistoric):
This is an Earth reminiscent of prehistoric times, and yet it is thousands of years into the future. In an indefinite amount of time before the story takes place, humanity was nearly wiped out. Few of the humans left on earth hold records of precisely what happened, though few care, for their main focus is survival. The world has been reclaimed by nature, as the Earth is wont to do when humans no longer interfere. Plants have overtaken the bare remnants of cities and towns, wild animals are once again a very real threat, and humans are rarely seen by them. Out of the few that remain, some have formed small tribes, while others live and hunt alone. Interactions are rare and most humans are distrustful of strangers. Whether in the scarcely recognizable wreckages of civilization, or deep in the overgrown forests, humans linger and fight to survive a planet that has finally found the strength to fight back. Heavily inspired by Horizon: Zero Dawn, minus the robots.

Elysium (urban fantasy):
Hidden away from the rest of the world is an asylum built for unstable bodies with preternatural abilities. A secluded, fully functioning estate with dorms, cafeteria, fitness center, and medical wing dedicated to the treatment of non-humans. Think Suckerpunch meets Xavier's school in X-Men.

Bayou (urban fantasy):
A Louisiana-esque setting with supernatural elements - specifically voodoo - between the colonial era and the rise of jazz music. Doesn't have to be set in real world or ultra-specific timeline. I'm really open to discussion on this one. Think Disney's Princess and the Frog or True Blood.
