The character sheets for Metroid: Infection; the slots are listed below; I will label each character and their specialties.

  • Damien Moris - Acrobatic
  • Cerus Imos - Explosives

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Here's a list of specialties and what sort of upgrades can be expected to be learned earlier than later on. Each specialty has a 'best suited weapon' for their specialty, but by no means a must. It's not recommended, but it's possible for a character to not have any particular specialty, meaning they're sort of a jack of all trades, though has no special feature that defines them for who they are.

  • Acrobatic - The character is more mobile in combat, making them just slightly harder to hit from a range. Earlier learned skills include the Wall Jump, Speed Booster and Space Jump. Best suited weapons are the FAR (Federation Assault Rifle)/Charge Rifle.
  • Explosives - The character has a great understanding of explosives, and know just when and where to employ them as necessary. Gains earlier access to Missiles/Super Missiles and Power Bombs. Best suited weapons are the Plasma Rifle/Missile Launcher.
  • Computer Hacker - The character is able to bypass some security doors which they normally wouldn't have access to, in addition to knowing where the next available upgrades are available and the data rooms associated to them. Capable of hacking into weapon systems to be used in their favor. Best suited weapon is the Spazzer Rifle/Wave Rifle.
  • Survivalist - The character knows the best methods of surviving, having a wide range of understanding in creatures across the galaxy. Scanning enemies take less time compared to other specialists, as well as learn if a Core-X is present within a creature's genetic makeup though scanning. Can use all weapons with proficient skill; has no best-suited weapon.

Here's mine.

Name: Damien Moris
Age: 26
Employed Service: Fights to be recognized, become a war hero some day.
Specialty: Acrobatic
Starting Primary Weapon: FAR (Federation Assault Rifle)
Appearance:

Personality: Energetic, rash and usually the first to take the shot, but also reckless and doesn't have too much concern for his own safety.
Background: Damien joined the Federation when he came of age; this was about 13 years ago, and though he had seen very little as far as actual combat was concerned, he clocked in many long hours of training as time wore on, but that didn't change his goals. He wanted to be looked at with respect; seeing that bounty hunter, Samus Aran, it inspired him to learn her training methods. He took a very acrobatic look to combat, never staying in one place for too long, and this was demonstrated during holographic simulations and out on the firing range.

He was a bit of a show-off, but this made him a bit of a danger to himself and his teammates as his movement patterns could be seen as predictable at times, though Damien is constantly trying to improve himself. That's why he applied for the Humetroid program... and passed, albeit barely, knowing full well what this would do to him from there on out. When he was requested to join a group of Federation troopers to investigate the station situated in former SR388 airspace, at last, he had his chance.

Little did Damien know, however, that there was a difference between holographic simulations, and what combat he would be facing in person on the seemingly abandoned station...
Extra: Damien wasn't fond of cold temperatures even before the Humetroid program, so this makes him incredibly skeptical of entering a new environment, considering the risk of any kind of chill could endanger him afterwards. This is really the only times Damien expresses hesitation.

Name: Cerus Imos
Age: 20
Employed Service: Orphaned, he has nowhere else to be
Specialty: Explosives
Starting Primary Weapon: Missile Launcher
Appearance:

Personality: surprisingly calm for a demolitionist, rather submissive on confrontations with people.
Background: Just another pacer Orphan of many in the federation it was not difficult to get him into the service, where he showed a natural gift for explosives and bombs of various kinds

near the end of training it came out that he was technically too young when recruited, but his qualifications saw him offered an alternative, the humetroid treatment.

now en route to SR388 with a new squad assigned he just hopes to make it through alive.
Extra: actually admires Damien's peerless confidence.

(this okay?)

(oops, image too big...)

It's fine, Cerebrate, the image is a bit on the large size, but it works. Hopefully this RP draws enough attention to get this off the ground this time around.
