Here's the character profile thread for the Dungeon World game graciously being run by ChrisGabriel. I'll go ahead and put my working writeup in this post; Chris, let me know if you have any issues.

Xia, a barbarian
Wild eyes, mighty thews, strange tattoos, linen kilt.

Level: 1
XP: 0

Strength 16 (+2), Dexterity 12 (0), Constitution 15 (+1), Intelligence 8 (-1), Wisdom 9 (0), Charisma 13 (+1)

Damage: d10
Armor: 1
HP: 23/23

Neutral
At the end of each session, if during that session I have taught someone the ways of my people, I mark XP.

Outsider
I'm human, but I'm not from around here. At the start of each session, the DM should ask me something about my homeland. If I answer, I mark XP.

Unencumbered, unharmed
So long as I'm below my Load and neither wear armor nor carry a shield, I take +1 armor.

Herculean appetites
Others may content themselves with just a taste of wine, or dominion over a servant or two, but I want more. I have insatiable appetites for mortal pleasures and riches and property. While pursuing one of these, if I would roll for a move, instead of rolling 2d6, I roll 1d6+1d8. If the d6 is higher, the DM will also introduce a complication or danger that comes about due to my heedless pursuits.

The upper hand
I take +1 ongoing to last breath rolls. When I take my last breath, on a 7-9, I make an offer to Death in return for my life, instead of the other way around. If Death accepts, I return to life. If not, I die.

Musclebound
When I wield a weapon, it gains the forceful and messy tags.

What are you waiting for?
When I cry out a challenge to my enemies, I roll +CON. On a 10+, they treat me as the most obvious threat to be dealt with and ignore my companions, and I take +2 damage ongoing against them. On a 7-9, only a few (the weakest or most foolhardy among them) fall prey to my taunting.

Load: 6/24
Gear: Dungeon rations (10 uses, 2 weight), adventuring gear (1 weight), a dagger (hand, forceful, messy, 1 weight), a bone charm bracelet that wards off bad luck, and a two-handed war sword (close, +1 damage, forceful, messy, 2 weight).

Bonds:
______'s ways are strange and confusing.
Lily is always getting into trouble—I must protect her from herself.
Roren shares my hunger for glory; the world shall tremble at our passing!

Lily, a bard
Race: Human
When you first enter a civilized settlement someone who respects the custom of hospitality to minstrels will take you in as their guest
Fit body, fiery eyes, fancy hair, fine clothes

Level: 1
XP: 0

Strength: 8 (-1)
Dexterity: 15 (+1)
Constitution: 12 (0)
Intelligence: 9 (0)
Wisdom: 13 (+1)
Charisma: 16 (+2)

Armor:
Hit Points: 18/18
Damage: d6

Chaotic
Spur others to significant and unplanned decisive action

Arcane Art
When you weave a performance into a basic spell, choose an ally and an effect:
  • Heal 1d8 damage
  • +1d4 forward to damage
  • Their mind is shaken clear of one enchantment
  • THe next time someone successfully assists the target with aid, they get +2 instead of +1
Then roll +CHA. On a 10+, the ally gets the selected effect. On a 7-9, your spell still works, but you draw unwanted attention or your magic reverberates to other targets affecting them as well, GM's choice.

Charming & Open
When you speak frankly with someone, you can ask their player a question from the list below. They must answer it truthfully, then they may ask you a question from the list, which you must answer truthfully.
  • Whom do you serve?
  • What do you wish I would do?
  • How can I get you to ___?
  • What are you really feeling right now?
  • What do you most desire?

Bardic Lore
My area of expertise is A Bestiary of Creatures Unusual
When you first encounter an important creature, location, or item (your call) covered by your bardic lore you can ask the GM any one question about it; the GM will answer truthfully. The GM may then ask you what tale, song, or legend you heard that information in.

A Port in the Storm
When you return to a civilized settlement you've visited before, tell the GM when you were last here. They'll tell you how it's changed since then.
