It was a living, she thought as she lifted a wallet from a wealthy looking man. Ten years ago she was living in a billion dollar house with all the things she could ever need or want. Now Anna was lifting wallets from unsuspecting men and women who left themselves open enough for her to use them. Most people did not look at her twice, she kept her head down and her glowing eyes down so that no one would truly notice her. Sometimes she even bought train tickets to move to the next town so getting caught where she set up shop was less of a risk. It was Sunday, two days after pay day where people had enough for her to eat and get what she needed but not enough to care about misplacing their wallet. It kept her deeds out of police reports.

The dark veil of hair and fair skin were more than just show, she used to be a beauty in her debutant days but now the silky tresses were to hide her shame rather than frame her flawless face. She wore scant clothing for a reason. If a man was looking at her his wife would start a fight with him and they all looked. Anna was a beauty but she targeted people who were less likely to admit they were gawking at a Goth 18-year-old girl.

She was short, standing hardly 5 foot but her bust was very large and distracting when she 'accidentaly' brushed them against a man's back in passing while her tiny hands lifted the wallet. She did that to a man at the ticket booth, apologized pretending she was embarrassed and walked away to where she would hide. She sorted the money, 700 dollars that morning alone. It wasn't a bad turn out but she hid most of it in an old Marine back pack she had been given of her father's after he died. She kept all of her treasures there and some day she would have saved enough to buy herself a house that no embezzlement office could take from her like they did her fortune after her parents died.

Anna took a 20 and bought herself snacks and breakfast before taking a second bag over to an old man who looked half dead on a bench in the train station before again returning to her hide out an alley or two away.
