Name: Alejandro Torres

Description: A young man of average height, Alejandro is not as fit as he would like, being a bit soft in the midsection, a product of a good and comfortable life. He has his black hair cut short, although it's usually messy and disheveled. He likes to sport a five o'clock shadow beard, since he thinks he makes his kind features look a bit more manly. His hazel eyes focus easily on the task at hand, and can look a bit brighter and blue on summer.
Brief Background: A promising chef about to be quite the accomplished one, this cook from the northern Spain thinks that he has lived too comfortably, too sheltered and that is limiting his growth as a cook. Decided to put his skills to the test, he has embarked on a long trip east, not suspecting how different his adventure is going to be.

Description + Background: Fairly short and plump, Giulia loves to spend time on the computer devouring page after page of wikipedia and loosing track of time learning even the most useless thing or travel the world from a teaching and a curiosity often serving those interesting (at least she find them interesting) facts to her friends. Giulia also loves collecting figures of her favourite shows and, when a Comic-fair spawns in the province, she wastes no time and cosplays as an ice-shooting scientist called Mei. Working part-time and spending lot of time for herself, Giulia shook her life when managing to travel to the famous trans-pacific Comic and Media Expos. Afterall... "Nerdy is the new beauty" she liked to think.

Description: Kim-Ly is about 5'11 and weighs 129 lbs. She has long black hair with dark brown eyes. Her skin is pail and fair. Brief Background: Kim-Ly was born and raised in a rural farm village near the coast of Southern Vietnam. From a young age she was taught to work hard and respect the men of the family. Everyday she would get up early for school only to work late into the night after school. Because of having to work on the farm and fishing boats she has grown to be very resourceful. As she grew older she gained an interest in marine biology and focused most of her spare time teaching her self about the Marine life around the world. By the time she reached the age of sixteen she was already working with various scientific groups in the South China Sea. Over the next few years her colleagues became impressed by her knowledge and ambitions for the subject at hand and pulled a few strings with an old friend of theirs getting her a full ride into a college as a foreign exchange student. Kim-Ly was more than excited to bored the plane and leave behind the rural country and it's confucian beliefs.

Description: A child of the North, Asta is pale as the winter moon and her eyes are the color of the ancient ice in the winter melt cave of the glaciers. Long, silver-blonde hair frames her round face that usually bears a broad, friendly smile that makes crinkles appear at the corner of her eyes. Asta is of a normal height for her people, but short by most modern standards at 149cm with a lithe, wiry muscled body that masses 45 kilos.

Brief Background: five years ago Ingrid Svensdottir, a Swedish anthropologist, came to live among the Northern Sami people to conduct research into their nomadic lifestyle to help shine light on more ancient societies and their lifestyles. For almost three years Ingrid roamed the far northern tundra with Asta's siida, her family's community, following their reindeer herds across the trackless lands of the midnight sun. Then just a girl, Asta was fascinated by Ingrid and her tales of the lands far, far to the South and of the almost incomprehensible differences between her world and Ingrid's. A little sister - big sister bond grew between the two of them and after Ingrid returned to university to write up and publish her research they stayed in touch, largely by physical letters that often took months to arrive, but occasionally by a phone call when her siida needed to come to market to trade and she was allowed to go along. Ingrid has arranged for Asta to come attend the International Conference of Indigenous Women as an accompaniment to a talk she is giving, a task that took Ingrid almost a year to get Asta's father and mother to agree to.

Description: 6'5" 230 lbs. Well muscled with tattoos on most of his body, keeps his dirty blonde hair cut in an undercut usually and his beard long. Brief Background: Aerin was born deaf and spent his entire life trying to overcome his disability. In school he wanted to play sports but wasn't allowed because of his disability and after finishing High School he set out to prove the world wrong. Traveling he pushed himself to overcome physical limitations, learning to surf, rock climb, ski, scuba, and much more, determined to prove to himself and everyone else that living in a silent world didn't bar him from taking the most out of life. He boarded the plan on another leg of his adventure to challenge the hearing world to tell him that he 'Couldn't do it.'
