Zach strummed the chords on his Fender guitar, one of the few things he owned and cherished, while relaxing in the couch that he was no crashing on thanks to his dickhead landlord not giving him another extension to pay off his rent for the month. Sucking in a drag of the cigarette that was hanging from his mouth as he stroked through some more chords. It was around 1:30 P.M. so the chord being hooked up to his Orange amp made the music louder. He wasn't TRYING to be an insensitive prick with the noise but Chad and his girlfriend, who oddly seemed more avoiding of his presence, had yet to say anything about it and it was his routine to practice when he woke up. The gigs were slow and his options of couch surfing had been exhausted. Chad was an old buddy from his last short stinted job. They made a friendship over their love of certain rock music and films.
