Olivia was fairly sure that this was a bad idea, for a number of reasons, the main one being that she had an exam Monday that she should be studying for. She’d been persuaded to take a break though to join one of her best friends from highschool to go have some drinks for her birthday. Her other bad feeling came from the fact that she didn’t know the other girls that were coming along, and that always made for an awkward time. Maria had been her friend for a long time though, and she had been neglecting her for a while, so it had been easy to guilt Olivia into going.

She arrived and found Maria and two of her friends, who had already started on the drinks. Olivia ordered a rum and coke for herself and settled in for some awkward small talk and then sitting there while Maria talked with her two newer friends about things that were actually relevant to their lives. All she had to talk to Olivia about was old times, which she didn’t mind when it was just the two of them but didn't really work here. Maria was a beautiful young woman, with an olive complexion and short, dark hair, tall and slim, her parents had moved to the States from Brazil before she was born but she still somehow managed to look like she’d just come off the sun drenched beaches of Rio de Jeneiro. Her two friends were similar in build, though one had long blonde hair and the other short, choppy brown hair.

Olivia had always been Maria’s physical opposite, short, pale, with long wavy richly brown hair and bright blue eyes with a splash of freckles across her nose. She was beautiful, but Maria had always been the one to draw eyes first with her exotic looks. Olivia found that to be true now as well, men walking by their table looked at her first, or maybe the blonde, but never her first. It was irritating really, she knew she was good looking, she’d had plenty of boyfriends, but she’d spent most of her teenage years feeling insecure being compared to Maria. This crap was just bringing that back.

So after a few drinks, she was ready to go, tired of feeling out of place and practically invisible. “I’m going to head out Maria, I’ll call you soon alright?” Olivia forced a smile. The bar was loud and pretty packed, people sitting around drinking at tables or the bar itself and out on the floor dancing. Olivia wasn’t big on bars and clubs in the first place so being a bit of a third wheel (even though she was technically the fourth) was all the more reason to just leave.

“Nooo Olivia, stay!” Maria begged, reaching over to grab her friend’s arm to pull her back down into her chair, “We haven’t even gotten to dance yet!”

“I hate dancing…” Olivia reminded her.

Maria let out a frustrated sigh, “One more drink, please? For me?” she pouted, and then grinned when she saw Olivia cave.

“Fine, one more drink,” so she ordered a gin and tonic and settled back in to drink it, appreciating Maria’s attempt after this to include her more in the conversation.

Liam sat at the bar, watching and wondering who it would be. This was a game he'd been playing for a long, long time but it was as fresh and exciting to him as the first time he'd played it well over a hundred and seventy years ago. With his height, his well muscled frame, his tangle of dark curls and deep set bright green eyes set with faint gold rings he had little trouble getting friendly attention, and a silver tongue was an asset there as well. But Liam had an ace, no, make that 4 aces up his sleeve that guarenteed he never went home alone unless by choice.

Liam was a vampire. Oh he wasn't a demon soul inhabiting a corpse or any of that other mythological crap. He couldn't fly, or turn into a mist or a bat. Crosses and holy water didn't bother him, he could cross running water or houses he hadn't been invited into. Sunlight, now that was bad bad news and best avoided, and something in his blood reacted violently to silver. Dogs and wolves loved him to distraction, but that was true before he became what he was. Stronger, far stronger and dangerously fast.

Mind powers, those he had. He'd could plant thoughts, affect moods by looking into somebodies eyes long enough and hard enough. It could be powerfully effective too, if the person wasn't actively trying to resist and had a very strong will. But his greatest asset wasn't visible at all. It was in his blood, his sweat, powerfully in his saliva and highly concentrated in his semen. It was a..substance, usually just called "venom" that had an extremely powerful effect on the libido of a member of the opposite sex. It also enhanced emotions and sensations, heightening feelings of lust and pleasure and ecstasy to almost unbearable levels. He walked in a faint cloud of it on his breath and from the sweat on his skin everywhere it went. It made his kiss, and especially his bite as addictive as heroin.

And of course, he needed blood. He could live on and greatly enjoyed normal food, but ultimately it was blood that sustained him. Or to be more precise it was the emotion it was charged with. The greater the pleasure, passion and sexual ecstasy the victim was feeling, the more potent the blood and the less you needed of it.

Liam was not a cruel or particularly power hungry man. He figured it was a fair trade; most of these women came to places like this hoping to find a man to seduce them, he was merely giving them what they wanted, taking them to a level of pleasure they'd never felt before or would ever feel again, and he took some blood in return that they'd never miss. Vampire bites healed by morning, and not being a greedy man he never took more blood than what he needed. He thoroughly enjoyed their bodies, and enjoyed even more how much they enjoyed it, why be a pig about it?

He scanned the crowd tonight, his eye catching a table of four. Everyone was eyeing up the exotic looking Brazilian number, but to Liam's eye the real beauty was a brown haired blue eyed short girl with cute freckles and a hilarious look of Oh God Why Am I Here.

That sparked his interest and he didn't even bother looking at the other two girls. He finished his drink and decided to walk over. This girl looked far more interesting than the usual types he ran into here, and Liam was craving something interesting.

He walked over, paused at the table and opened his mouth to strike up a conversation with the girl he wanted to get to know when the Brazilian looking girl leaped up instead

"Hi there! We were just going to dance, you want to dance with us?". Normally the dance floor was where Liam sealed the deal. All that physical activity, the girls breathing in his essence from his breath and his skin, lots of opportunities for physical contact, and besides he like me to dance.

But he wasn't here for Ms Right Now, he felt a powerful attraction to this one girl for some reason he couldn't put a finger on, so he looked first to see what she was going to do. If she got up to dance perrrrrrfect. If not he could try a nice conversation with her. Liam also loved talking.

Olivia got her new drink and sipped at it. She wasn’t a lightweight when it came to holding her booze but this being her fourth she was starting to feel the effects. There was a pleasant buzzing in the back of her head, and as she nursed her fourth drink that only increased. It made her care a little less about the snide looks she kept getting from Maria’s friends, they clearly didn’t think much of her. They probably would have liked for her to just leave when she’d tried.

She hadn’t though, so she was still sitting there as she finished her drink, and when she saw a guy walking up to the table she didn’t really pay much attention. Olivia did look up at him curiously, seeing that he was very handsome, gorgeous even, but she assumed he was there to talk up Maria, or one of the other girls. They were more conventionally attractive, and none of them had a look on their face like they’d rather be anywhere but here.

So Olivia also didn’t pay a whole lot of attention when Maria hopped up and asked him to go dance with them, which made her old friend wince. Then there was a pause, and she looked up to see the guy looking at her with an expectant look on his face. And Maria was looking between the stranger and Olivia with a mildly confused expression, Olivia was pretty sure a guy had never once ever picked Olivia over her, not when it was the two of them like this.

“Oh uh,” Olivia blinked, glancing at Maria then her friends, then looked at the stranger, then back to Maria, looking a bit like a deer caught in car headlights, “No thanks, you guys go on.” She seemed to even be talking to the guy, as if telling him to go with Maria and the other two.

Now she really had his attention.

The Brazilian looking one, Maria, that would be a hell of a fun evening and an utterly delicious feast if ever there was one, but Liam was looking for more than just that tonight. Being a vampire was of necessity a lonely existence. You couldn't let anybody get too close or let them get to know you too well for rather obvious reasons. You made your piece with it, you came to terms with it.

Or one morning you walked into the sun.

The need for a real human connection was still here though, especially for a talker like Liam, and whatever else Maria might be, a conversationalist was probably not part of the packadge. This other girl though, something about her made him want to get to know her. And Lism had a suspicion that there was a hidden flame of passion there that would make Maria look like a cheap paper match by comparison.

He pulled out a chair and sat down to everyone's surprise.

"Thanks, but I think I'll sit here for a bit, maybe dance later". He stuck out his hand to the girl that so intrigued him. "Hi, my name is Liam, I don't think I caught yours". His breath would already be wafting around her, she would already be inhaling it, and clasping his hand was only going to intoxicate her faster.

Maria recoiled in stunned surprise, Liam surmised that men simply didn't choose this other girl over her very often, or at all. Well, their loss! The more he looked at her, the more he appreciated her own distinct beauty. She stomped off to the dance floor unnoticed.

Liam waited with his hand extended

Olivia would probably leave once the other women were on the dance floor, she’d have no reason to stay then and they would be too distracted to stop her. So she looked just as surprised as Maria, if not more so, when the stranger actually declined to go dancing with her and the other two girls, and instead actually sat down at the table with Olivia. She blinked and looked at her friend, then back to the man who’d opted to sit with her than go dancing. Maria left with her friends, looking more than a little peeved. Olivia didn’t feel bad, she couldn’t remember how many times she would hope to get a guy’s attention and Maria would get it instead.

She looked back to Liam as he introduced himself and then asked for her name in return, sticking out his hand in greeting. Olivia blinked again and extended her own hand, taking his and shaking it, “Olivia,” she answered. And then she had no idea what to say or do. She hadn’t exactly been prepared for conversation with a complete stranger, in fact she’d been ready to just get out of here. Couldn’t really do that now. Well, she could, but it would take a stronger will than hers to turn down the attention of a very handsome man.

Liam smiled warmly at her, sensing her confusion. Hmmm she's not used to being the one chosen, which is really a shame because she's beautiful. It's more of a refined beauty than the brazen sexuality of Maria, but he finds it all the more attractive for that very reason.

"Olivia, I like it! A very pretty name for a very pretty girl" he laughs at his cheesy line, but it's true. He engages her in conversation, trying to draw her out a little, get her comfortable and taking about herself. Liam loves conversation, meeting people, making friends. He never really gets to keep or grow friendships, but it's as good as it can be for one like him.

Soon he has her out of her shell and she livens up a bit. He senses she is normally a very quiet shit in kind of person, and maybe she needs this release far more than she knows. He keeps eye contact with her as much as he can, though he can tell she has a body well worth leering at, petite but with lovely full curves. He wants her to feel comfortable, and of course to let his vampire powers do their subtle work. He can tell she's had more drinks than she normally does which doesn't hurt. Soon she is leaning in closer to him, even playfully touching him now and then.

He senses the time is right, leans in a little closer and drops his voice a bit to heighten the sense of intimacy. "You know I would just love to dance with you for a bit". He gets up, half turning towards the dance floor, his hand extended to her again to take her with him.

Olivia made a slight face at the very cheesy line he laid down in response to her name, not looking entirely impressed by that. Clearly if he thought he was going to charm her by normal methods that wasn’t really going to work. It was a good thing that he had the little extra help from the hormones in his breath and his touch, and that she had had a few drinks. Otherwise Liam might have found Olivia to be quarry a little out of reach. As it were, it wasn’t all that hard to get her out of her shell, and Olivia was chatting and laughing with him soon enough.

She finished her drink, laughing and smiling more readily as she talked with Liam, even starting to lean and touch him flirtatiously. School hadn’t really allowed her a lot of free time, and that included dating. It’d been a few months since she’d gotten off using something other than her hand or her vibrator, and that just didn’t really compared to skin on skin. And Liam was seriously good looking, so that was even better.

Then he told her that he wanted to dance, and Olivia’s hatred of dancing struggled with her desire to stay close to Liam. The thought of being able to be that close to him was very, very appealing, but then she might ruin things with just how horribly she danced. She sighed and stood up, taking Liam’s hand, “Alright, but I’m a horrible dancer,” Olivia told him with a sheepish smile. His touch was already helping to assuade her anxieties though.

Liam smiled and laughed a little at her reluctance. "Girls always look good when they dance" he said, trying to reassure her as he led her on to the dance floor. "It's all about having fun". Liam was a superb dancer, but he meant what he said, it was about having fun with your partner, not being a technical virtuoso.

And of course he had other motives.

Liam manouvered them to a spot on the floor that was just a little darker, more dimly lit than the rest of the floor. He had no trouble seeing in that light of course. They danced together, keeping things simple, just your basic swaying and moving that allowed their bodies to touch every so often, Liam keeping up the conversation with questions about who she was, what she did, what she liked, letting their bodies drift a little closer, getting a little more flirty whenever she warmed up to him.

The music slowed down a bit and he decided to make a move, she if she was really into him or not. He put his hands on her hips and pulled her a little closer, his arms going around her, waiting to see how she reacted.

Olivia went out onto the dancefloor with him, catching Maria’s eye as they passed by her and her friends. They already had a few guys dancing with them as well, so Olivia didn’t feel bad in the slightest, especially when Maria gave her a bit of a glare. She ignored her and went with Liam, grateful when he found a darker corner where she didn’t feel so exposed and like everyone was staring at her. She danced with him, trying not to feel or look too awkward, finding a rhythm easily enough and starting to enjoying herself.

She chatted with Liam as they danced, telling him about school, where she majored in biology, and how that really took up most of her time. She tried not to make herself seem like too much of a nerd but she was pretty sure that that was inevitable. Their dancing and slow gravitational pull towards one another’s bodies kept Olivia from really noticing that he always managed to keep the focus on her, and didn’t really directly answer any question about him she might have.

Liam wouldn’t find any resistance when he pulled her closer to him, against him, though the girl in his arms did girl him a slightly surprised look. But then she smiled, the alcohol and his own pheromones working to lower her inhibitions quite nicely. Olivia leaned into him a little, one of her hands resting on his shoulder while her other arm looped around his neck and shoulders loosely, her heart beating a little harder, a little faster, in her chest.

Oh Liam was enjoying this, she had a quick and lively wit once she started to come out of her shell a bit. She seemed a little reluctant to talk about her schooling for some reason, but Liam found it very interesting. He had gained a lot of knowledge and a bit of informal night schooling in both biology and organic chemistry, trying to better understand some of the ways his own vampire biology worked.

She seemed to like getting closer to him, he supposed his own unique chemistry had a lot to do with that, she didn't seem like a good time girl type at all. He decided to up the game a little by staring into her eyes; he had a very unique eye color, a bright but dark green with delicate gold bands and a lot of woman found both the colours and the contrast fascinating. Being a vampire helped of course. As he smiled and gazed into her eyes he let his fingers wander and caress her along that gentle wonderful curve from her hip up to the underside of her ribs, letting their bodies drift closer with w little finger tip pressure till they were touching and brushing back and forth regularly as they swayed together, letting the delicious friction work its magic.

When he judged the time was right, he leaned in and gently brushed her lips with his own.

Olivia couldn’t really see his eye color all that well in the dim light of the bar but his gaze was piercing and powerful none the less. Her own eyes were a bright, clear blue, like the sky on a clear spring day, a lively color, not icy like some with blue eyes. She couldn’t seem to look away as she danced with Liam, but she was very aware of the feeling of his hands running over her hips and up along her sides. Gentle pressure from his touch urged her a little closer until their bodies were touching, brushing against one another. That was very enticing, each touch of contact making a shiver run up Olivia’s spine, a low heat starting to build in her veins and gather in her core.

So when Liam leaned in and brushed his lips against hers, her reaction was only positive. Her own lips returned the gesture, brushing against his and then pressing into a kiss, the hand on his shoulder tightening a little as they continued to sway and rock to the music. Olivia tried to remember the last time she’d kissed someone who was basically a stranger, and she didn’t think she’d done this since high school, and it hadn’t been nearly this hot. No, this was more like something out of the tv shows she watched sometimes, a little surreal, but if it was a dream she definitely didn’t want to wake up any time soon.

Liam could feel her lips pressing against his, her body pressing against his, and he knew he was almost there. He kissed her back as their bodies moved together, and stayed together. He was content to kiss her for a bit, the feel of her soft lips so enticing, letting his hands down her body now, getting a little more adventurous as he gently teased her lips with his teeth, touched her tongue with the tip of his own.

He stopped for a second, pulling back a bit to gaze into her dark blue eyes with his green gold ones, favouring her with a warm intimate smile before pulling her back to him and kissing her passionately, hands all over, holding nothing back. He put his hands on her hips and turned her around before sliding his arms around her and pulling her close to him. He started them swaying to the music again and kissed his way down her neck to her shoulder and back

Olivia kissed him hotly, her arms around his neck and her body pressing more and more firmly against his. His kiss was more intoxicating than any of the drinks she’d had, and she was feeling the effects even if she wasn’t completely aware of it. Her skin seemed to have electricity coursing through it and there was fire in her veins, Liam’s hands on her, even just through her clothes, was driving her a little crazy. Especially when he kissed her a second time and didn’t bother to restrain his lips or hands anymore.

She was left a little dazed when Liam suddenly pulled away and turned her around by his hold on her hips, pulling her back to him with her ass tucked into the curve of his front. It did give her a moment to try and catch her breath, which wasn’t as successful as she would have liked. She couldn’t seem to clear her head no matter how hard she tried, especially not with Liam kissing along her neck and shoulder. Olivia’s skin was hot to the touch, her vein pulsing with her heart beat in her throat as she leaned back against him, swaying with the music and enjoying this all far more than she’d ever care to admit.

Liam could feel Olivia's passion and excitement and knew his moment had come. He would enjoy and savor her so much, he knew it already. This was not a cheap shot to be slammed down with a chaser, but a fine wine to be supped and savoured.

He slid one hand up her shirt and caressed his way up to her breast, slipping it deftly inside her bra so he could feel her warm soft skin against his palm, and run and tease her nipples with his fingers. He slid the other hand down across her front, her waist, her hips, caressing as he went before sliding it between her legs to pleasure her there. The darkness hid them from any prying eyes or potential rescuers.

He slowly dragged her backwards towards an unremarkable unlabelled door behind them. Pausing at the door, keeping one hand pleasuring her breasts he slid the other behind him and deftly unlocked the door before sweeping it around her waist again. He pulled them through the door backwards and then spun her around to face the room, intentionally making her a little dizzy. It's was a small but richly appointed suite with a large opulent bed.

Keeping that busy hand in her shirt, before she had a chance to recover or get her bearings, he swept her hair from the side of her neck and tilted her head. Grinding that lovely ass of hers and with both hands on her breasts now he claimed his prize, slowly, almost tenderly sinking his fangs into her neck. It would be an unforgettable night, and the fun was just starting
