Just curious, tbh. This is something I try to keep away from my shop / leadership (obviously, though I don't think it breaks an laws in accordance to the UCMJ?). Interested to see if I'm alone in that regard, or if there are others here who serve in the Armed Forces.

Seriously, just as long as the person isn't sporting racially motivated tattoos, you should be good to go.

Don't ruin it for other people because a small percentage decide to make poor life choices and get double dongs tattooed on their cheeks.
 
Actually, I have a friend who's body covered 50% in tattoos and he is an E-6 and my husband who is an E-5 is about to get a back piece done. As long as it's not on your neck, face, or hands you're good. At least in the army.
 
They've also changed regulations for tattoos for the Air Force and Navy.
