A Different Turn to Make (Alvis and Malice)

This hadn’t happened in years. Four to be exact, ever since she moved out. She escaped the ill-fated inbreeding and somehow thought she would be free of it all, even in this world where she was loyal to Gideon and his band of miscreants; very dangerous people. For some reason she believed that if she did what they wanted, kept the ice in tact and exuded her new fearless and confident streak, nothing would happen.

After a year, she was proved wrong. The slap was one indication. It was harsh, made her entire face hurt as pain shot from her cheek all over, keeping her head wrenched in one direction. Before her hand could even come up, she was pushed back and turned, forced to bend over the hood of this fine car and the very force of it made her forehead hit it, causing her a little imbalance. From the slap to this brute force, it took her a long moment to recover. So much so that by the time she did, her shirt was roughly pulled from her pale body.

And then the flashback came to the front of her brain of when her cousin did this to her. Not exactly like this but it started with ripping her favorite blouse from her body, leaving her defenseless of impending terror. It made Heidi struggle, caught between reality and her memories. Her hands climbed up on the hood and she tried to climb up, trying to get away. Her breathing came faster and the chink in her armor was not a full on shatter. There was actual fear registered on her face. She didn’t like to think of herself as someone who was all talk and no action. But right now, she might as well be. If he raped her and killed her, it would be the worst way to go.

No, she would have preferred he ripped her clothes off, skipped the rape and just run her over with his car. It’d be quicker, more gruesome, there would be nothing of her left and it would fill her bucket list to completion.

If there was one thign that this was showing, it was that Heidi was still human. Harrison could see the fear in her actions, the almost instinctual blind panic in her actions as she seemed to be clawing at the hood, trying to get enough purchase to move away from him. He actually let her move away from him a little, relaxing his arm, before he dragged her back towards him. There was something about this, a sense of control, of power, that was appealing to him. Heidi had lorded over anyone she could, and now she was no different than any other person that was in the grips of a situation that they couldn't resolve easily.

Harrison stepped forward, kicking his foot into hers, forcing her legs apart. He used his other foot to brace against her opposing leg, making sure that she couldn't close her legs at all. It was a single deft movement to unhook her bra from her, lifting her body from the hood long enough to drag the loose garment down her arms before pressing her back to the metal surface. All her poise, all her refinement, none of it was here, none of it mattered now, all that mattered was strength, and who had it.

And she did not.

Harrison hiked her skirt up, throwing it up over her ass, and pausing a moment. There was a moment of a sick grin on his face as he swung his hadn into her ass with all his strength, the hit forcing her into the body of the car. He undid his jeans, the button coming free with an audible snap. He pulled his cock out, finding himself already as hard as he ever had been. he let the length of his memeber fall on her, resting on her skin to make sure she knew what was coming, what was about to happen to her. His hand hit her ass again, if anything even harder, but this time he used the contact to drag the panties down her legs, leaving her open to him. He had a twisted grin as he let his cock drag along her skin, moving back along her skin, ever closer to her sex. It took what must have felt like forever to get to her, and he prodded her entrance with teh head of his cock, a warning, a promise, that it was goign to happen, that he was ready to do it, that there was nothing that she would be able to do to stop it.

Sure, at one point she liked Harrison enough to fantasize what it would be like to have him take her. But in that, she was willing. This was not the same. This was fear. Maybe not so much for the act itself but what would come after. A very unappealing death. What made this worse though were the images plaguing her mind. Of the time her cousin did this to her and it had been probably the worst of all the times from her dad, brother and uncles. Her cousin had been brutal. He was ten years older than her, rough, forceful and didn’t have a problem hitting a girl. Not the delicious spank on her ass. No, beating, and not just confined to her ass.

It kept going back and forth. To her cousin, to Harrison, until really it just became a garbled combination and she couldn’t remember if it was really her cousin again or Harrison.

Feeling her legs forced apart after he brought her back down from trying to scurry away, she felt herself pinned, barely able to move. Her bra was gone and soon her skirt was hiked up, revealing the lace and thin fabric of the thong she wore, her bare ass basically exposed to him. Her body trembled a little bit and it wasn’t cold. It was like ice cold fear gripped her in her veins, causing goosebumps to sprout on her skin but not the good kind. A heavy weight rested on her skin and she thought it was just his hand but deep down she knew it wasn’t. Holy hell. He was packing something thick and scary in his pants. She never did find a man’s phallus attractive, then again though, from early on she was turned off from it quickly. But this was different. This was a monster of a phallus and it touched her. She wanted to squirm away but she couldn’t. She was rooted, planted and pinned. There was no mistaking what was going to happen and there was no getting away from it. That part she hated. Feeling helpless. She swore never to feel that way again and yet, here she was.

A hard spank hit her ass and she felt her body push into the car more, surprised at the strength. Her eyes shut, a look of actual pain crossing her otherwise flawless features. And then another, much harder, causing a small cry of pain from her, though more from the rough way her thong was ripped from her body. She shook harder now as she felt that behemoth of a cock touch her opening and she dug her nails into the hood, or well scraped it. “Niko...please don’t. I promise I will be good next time.” She thought it was her cousin. Having come to punish her. Again.

Harrison actually paused a moment. Who the hell was Niko? Was she even here right now? Or was she lost in something else, some other moment of personal tragedy? And frankly, did it even matter at this point?

It mattered. It always mattered.

But there was no turning back from this. He'd come too far. And there were some lines that had to be crossed once they were approached this far.

"You're out of next times." He said to her acidly, and adjusted his grip, one hand on her hip to keep her in place, teh other still tangled up in her hair, and he started to ease his hips forward.

Harrison let out a faint sound as he felt the lips of her pussy start to stretch around the head of his cock as he forced it forward with inexorable speed, taking his time, pacing out each moment. Each moment felt like half an hour, inch by inch sliding into Heidi from behind, taking in that smooth but tight feel of her. He could feel her body stretching to accommodate his length, not something he was unused to, but there was a very different sense to it this time. His presence was unwelcome, he knew that, but he kept going forward.

Inch by inch, moment by moment, he kept his hips pressing forward until he felt his hips press into her ass. Buried to the hilt in her, he knew hw was as deep in her as he would ever be, and despite all of the bile and vitriol that the two of them exchanged, there was a certain sense of...right to this moment. Like there was only a few ways their relationship would wind up. Either murder, or sex. And frankly, sex was far mroe fun from his perspective.

Harrison ground his hips into her ass, shifting around inside of her, getting a better feel for her before backing himself out witht eh same slow pace that he'd made his entrance with, before reversing direction to press back into her.

Though the voice wasn’t Niko’s, it played right into the terror that her mind created. Her eyes closed and she let out a soft gasp, the hand in her hair tightening further. She could feel her platinum blonde hair pulling at the roots and it was both painful and an odd delight, sending the first jolt of pleasurable shivers down her spine.

But that momentum too crushed as she felt him spear into her, inch by agonizingly painful inch It felt like it took hours for him to reach her final depths. Even when Heidi had sex with women, it was Heidi taking pleasure in them, not so much them taking pleasure in her. She never let it go that far. The most she allowed was oral but never actual penetration. She didn’t get off on it. She hadn’t since…

Right now, it felt like a heavy brick was stretching into her, or trying to. A hiss of pain came from her, it felt like she was losing her virginity all over again and it hadn’t been enjoyable the first time. But somehow managed to push all the way inside of her and there was this odd sense of enjoyment of feeling him pressed against her ass. He was in her fully and despite the words shared between them and al the animosity, this felt like a proper way to let it all come to fruition. It was appropriate, given everything and some part of her knew there was this sexual tension between. She just didn’t think he felt the same way. But now she knew he did and in that line of thinking, she snapped out of what vision she was in and looked back, seeing Harrison. It was him. “Harry…” But his name came out as a moan, not a cry or a whimper. It was if knowing he felt the same way she did about their tension toward each other gave her control again. A smidgen but it was enough.

Her eyes fluttered closed and her hands balled into fists against the car hood. Soft whimpers of pleasure came from her as she ground her ass back into his hips, as if mixing him inside of her which did something for her, enough for desire to pool between her legs for the first time while a man was inside of her.

He heard his name from her, knew that whatever was going on in her head, what he'd done had brought her back to the situation at hand. And despiute how it all started, she seemed to be finding some kind of peace with it. He'd been with a few girls that had been a bit reluctant on some level, really, he had to inculde Esther in that. Both times really if he was honest. But Heidi was the first that he'd taken weithout any desire on her part. No seduction. It had been him taking from her.

And now she was fine with it apparently.

Or at least she was making her peace with it on some level. And that level was enough for him. Still, there was a certain amount of propriety to be found. He pushed her head forward again, onto the car hood, his fingers shifting his grip on her hair. Her long, soft, and incredibly silky feeling hair. He pushed back into her, faster this time, leaning his body over hers, putting them close together.
"I am not your Harry. I am Harrison if I feel generous." He hissed to her, keeping that close contact, his body near enough to hers to feel the heat coming off of her, enough that he could sense the closeness of them. He ground his hips into her again, pressing them even tighter together. "Or sir if I'm not."

little more pressure, he was pressing the side of her face into the warm metal of the car, keeping her pinned under him as he began to work his hips into her again. It was starting to work into a steady pattern, hard thrusts that shook the car, slow withdrawls that made sure that every inch of his member was felt keenly in her.

He didn’t ease her into it anymore. No, if he felt it was enough, he made that clear as he began to thrust, faster now with his hand tangled in her silky platinum blonde hair, her face pressing deeper into the car hood as if he was trying to make it disappear within or dig a hole with it. The metal wasn’t cool. It was still warm from the recently killed engine. It almost hurt, stung. But those sensations vanished as his thrusts hit closer and closer. He took her with such certainty and confidence, there was a certain level of respect to be had.

Heidi felt his body pressed closer into hers, keeping no distance or gaps between them and she couldn’t help the groan of absolute pleasure coming from her. It wasn’t difficult to miss how her nectar dripped, coating his cock or even slid down her inner thighs. She had never felt like this before. Never. And yet somehow Harrison managed to do it. Made her a believer in penetrative sex. Maybe it was the circumstance or the small sense of control she felt. Either way, Heidi was getting off on it.

Even as he kept pushing her face into the heated metal of the car hood, Heidi managed to turn a little, enough for her mouth to be free and her moans no longer muffled. The car shook, her body pushed into it with each thrust he plundered her with and every withdrawal it was like she could feel every ridge and throbbing vein in his shaft. It made her body shudder with pleasure.

“Are you feeling generous?” She asked with a gasp, feeling that bulbous head of his cock touch the mythical spot deep inside of her. Heidi always believed she was born without one, but always able to find it in the women she slept with. Harrison apparently found hers.

Harrison ground himself into her hard, feeling the tight warm sides of her body around his cock.
"No." He answered her question. "Not now, maybe not ever for you." He hissed at her, nthing but an honest answer in his words. He could hear in the gasp of her voice that what he was doing was having and effect on her, that this action was not nearly as one sided as it had been once. Heidi was finding some level of release and freedom, or at least unbridled joy in what he was doing.

That much wasn't surprising, he'd met very few women that had been able to really resist what he did to them. Heidi was only different in that she'd been wildly opposed to what he was doing in the beginning. Now, however, she seemed on board more than a little. Even now her tone had a little bit of the edge to it that she always seemed to have, that side of arrogance, of confident control. It was only a hint of her normal facade, but it was there.

As he kept working on her, his pace never slowing, hammering into her with all the wild abandon that he could muster, his hand slipping free of her hair, and sliding along her cheek. He pressed her face to the metal harder, making sure she stayed in place, before he leaned back as he ground into her, his hand dragging along her face, smearing a long stripe of her lipstick across her face.

Heidi smiled to herself, her eyes rolling closed and she a strangled moan sounded from her as she repeatedly felt his rough thrusts push his cock right at a spot she had no idea actually existed. If it did and she ever felt it, it was only a sick reminder. Right now, it was everything she clung to, especially as her pussy walls clenched tightly around him. “Whatever you say.” She whimpered, a smirk forming on her face before pleasure overtook it.” Harry.”

She felt him press her face harder into the steel of the car, even felt his hand drag over his lips, feeling her lipstick spread. “Yes…” She hissed, a look of pure release and euphoria on her face as if this was the kind of debasing she always wanted. The kind of debasing she actually wanted, rather than forced upon her.

Dragging her fists on the car--she didn’t want to claw it and she certainly didn’t want to mess up her expensive manicure even more--her pleasure escalated, feeling like a bomb just getting ready to go off any moment. And then the bloom of pleasure overtook her and her body shook hard, trembling beneath him and not from his thrusts. She let out a deep cry of pleasure, even pushed back into his thrusts now with whatever she strength she had since his body crushed down upon hers. This didn’t mean she was converted. Really, it was a lapse in sanity. But then again, she wasn’t sane to begin with.

What was even more insane was that this orgasm made her feel more alive than all the orgasms combined she was able to give to her willing girls. Probably because she was actually experiencing it rather than someone else.

Harrison let himself pant as he worked on her, tensing up and pressing forward, all but crushing her under him as he felt himself finishing up. he didn't hesitate, didn't think twice, the whole thing was a way of establishing a kind of retr4ibution, a pecking order bewtween them. Heidi might have all the bluff and bluster, but if thigns went south between them, then she was nothing more than a person less than half his size with a fraction of his strength, adn he was willing and apparently able to make that pointedly clear.

He was panting as he stayed behind her a moment before stepping back, sliding out of her without another word. He put himself away, making himself decent again, and turning away from Heidi. It looked like a blunt dismissal of her now, he'd done what needed doing, and now she wasn't on his mind. Where she couldn't see, he closed his eyes.

Gods above and below, what had he just done? There wasn't a lot of things that really stood out to him as lines not to cross, but what he'd done here, this was a the very kind of thing he'd beaten the everloving shit out of people for. Hell, even recently with Esther a the party. But then here he was, doing the same thing, only worse in a lot of ways. What was he turning into? There was a wavering thought that he might need to try adn get some distance between himself and Gideon, before this got any farther out of hand, but that was easier said than done. He righted himself mentally, and turned back to Heidi.

"Get something like dressed, and get the fuck in the car. I tell Gideon about the impending clusterfuck, and then we can be done with one another." He rasped at her, his voice lower, somehow strained compared to normal. There was going to be trouble looming. With Tug gone, it was going to get ugly on a local level, and Harrison wasn't looking forward to that getting sorted out.

One moment he was there and the next he was gone. She felt the weight of his body lifted off of her, her entire body humming like it had been there but feeling empty without it. It was momentary. She forgot how good it could feel with a heavy body pressing down on hers, caging her in with no hope to get away. No hope to get away from the lack of mercy. Harrison Trenton showed no mercy, just like the men in her family, and yet she felt more alive than she had in so long. A fantasy. Nothing more than a fantasy come to life.

The haze spread but soon the fog lifted. Heidi righted her body, standing up straight, and nearly stumbling back on her heels. She fixed up her clothes and then pulled her hair free from the mussed ponytail it was in. With her hair tie around her wrist, she kept her hair down, needing the fresh air to go through it, make the flush pale again. Heidi didn’t say anything to him right away. She simply got into the car, grabbed her purse, pulled out her compact and pulled the mirror down, proceeding to fix her face. “Don’t be so afraid Harry. Although the sight of you with your tail tucked between your legs, that is one I wouldn’t want to miss. Blow up Instagram and Twitter with that prize.” She smirked, cleaning up the smeared lipstick and makeup and reapplying.

Harrison just shook his head. There was something seriously wrong in the brain of this woman. Hed known it before, but he was pretty sure it was a lot worse than he'd thought. And what he'd done likely hadn't knocked thing much farther askew. Still, he got the car in gear properly. He was playing over the conversation he was going to have with Gideon when he got back tot he docks. There were only a few ways this worked, and very very few of them were good ones. And as much as Heidi pissed him off with ehr attitude, she had done him a solid putting hte bullet in Tug back there. So he supposed that he owed her at least a cursoury defense.

He kept the speed within the limit, not wanting to attract attention. They did drive past a cop, but the car didn't move to follow them. Harrison let out a sigh of relief. It wasn't going to come crashing down just yet. They pulled inot the pub, and Harrison shut the car off.
"Time to face the music here." Harrison said idly, getting out of the car. He nodded to Áedán who was by the door. teh big man nodded back, but didn't move from his spot, waiting for Heidi.

Harrison went right tot he back, not pausing or hesitating at all. He needed to get this done and out of the way. Gideon was at the pool table, ambling around it, taking his time like he usually did. harrison strongly suspected he did it just to kill time, the game was largely without consequence.
"Young 'arry! Back to us, and quick as ye can. What word do ye bring me?" Gideon asked. Harrison closed his eyes.
"It went pear shaped sir. Fight was dragging, and...Tug got shot in the head." Harrison said flatly. Gideon paused, adn turned to face him, the cue in his hands shifting as the older man gripped it tightly.
"Young Tugger be dead? By who's hand was sooch a thing done?" Harrison sighed.
"That would be hers. For what it's worth, she's been...chastised for her actions." Gideon cocked his head, and then gave a slow smile.

"Well now lad. Dinnae think ye had it in ye. Did ye at least step away from the corpse first?" Gideon asked. Harrison nodded.
"Yes sir. A little bit down the road." Gideon stared, clearly wanting more. "Over the hood of hte car sir. She freaked out, panicked. But I got the job done." Harrison said flatly. Gideon nodded.
"Then ye done right by me lad. This not be what ah had in mind for things, but we'll haf tae see where the pieces fall. Here. Fer ye troubles." Gideon handed Harrison a small bag, adn harrison took it, nodding. "Be safe lad." Harrison took his leave. "And tell the lass tae go home. She be done fer now."

Harrison walked outside, figuring that Heidi woudl have stopped for a smoke, or Áedán might have, and simply looked at the big man.
"She's done for awhile. Gideon wants her home." Harrison said flatly, and head for his car.

She felt alive but that didn’t mean she wouldn’t take a swift beating with her head held up high, especially if it was the last thing done to her before her life ended. It just meant she was willing to enjoy life bigger than ever for the next twenty-four hours and after that, she’d likely go back to normal. She couldn’t help she was still so high.

Once they were back at the pub, Heidi watched him go. She grinned. “Keep your chin up high, Harry! You got this!” Sliding out of the car, she slung her purse strap over her shoulder before digging in for her needed fix and matching lighter. She lit up a cigarette and let it hang from the corner of her mouth as she popped the box and lighter back into her purse. Spotting Áedán, Heidi smiled a little, pulling the cigarette from her mouth. “Áedán.” She nodded her head to him. After what she did, she had no intention of going inside. She was going to enjoy her cigarette and hopefully get to go home. She needed a nap after all the excitement and then a pick me up for later.

When he reappeared from inside the pub, she was just stubbing her cigarette against the wall before walking back to where he and Áedán were. She didn’t want to blow smoke in front of him. That was just rude and why blacken his lungs with second hand smoke? To her surprise, she learned she was to go home, as marked by the way her eyebrows disappeared into her hairline. She couldn’t help the look of delight. She killed when she wasn’t supposed to, she was taken brutally over the hood of a car by a man she was in loathe with, and now she got to go home unscathed otherwise? Yeah, job damn well done!

“Bye Harry!” She chirped, smiling to herself. If she could still get on his nerves then that was more satisfying than burying her tongue inside of a fine woman. Turning to Áedán, she tilted her head. “Shall we?”

Áedán stared after Harrison, there was an edge to him now he'd not had before. Given the change of state to Heidi, it wasn't hard to determine that something had gone down between her and Harrison, and it had both of them acting differently. he wanted to ask theother man, but frankl,y it wasn't his business. On that note, he turned his attention back to Heidi.
"We shall." He agree, heading to his car. Once Heidi was on board, Áedán pulled out, adn began the task of driving her home.

Harrison looked at the small bag. It looked almost like a pencil case. He unzipped the top, and looked inside, then dropped the bag on his lap. he leaned his head back and let out a sigh.

Money. And a lot of it. Gideon had paid him off like he was a more seasoned member of the group. Which meant that thigns were getting far more serious for him. Runing some drugs here adn there was nothing to him, it was fairly easy to get out of things from there. But a man who knew things that could be...awkward for Gideon, that was the kind of person that might have a harder time extricating hismelf from the organization. But it was done now. With a sigh, he put the car in gear, adn took himself home.

Morning came the same way it always did, with Harrison pawing at the side table, looking for the alarm clock. He found it, switched it off, and sighed, rolling onto his back. He'd checked the night before. He'd taken some hard knocks, but fortune had favoured him, and he hadn't bruised much. Nothing that couldn't be easily explained away. With a sigh, he got up. He had to get to school.

It was like there was no limit on how much shopping they could do. At some point, her mom did draw the line but all three of them were toting multiple shopping bags. After dropping Abby home, Esther and her mom drove home where they splurged in dinner; steaks and the really expensive ones that were like fifteen bucks a slab. Accompanied with that was garlic mashed potatoes really heavy on the cream and butter but whipped into a smooth and creamy perfection, along with broccoli and cheesy bread. For dessert, a cheesecake they picked up on the way home. Esther wasn’t counting calories that night and it seemed neither was her mom. Nights like these were once a year, usually around Christmas only but this time it came early. It was worth it. And after the whirlwind of events, she really needed it. It just made her even more grateful for her mom.

She fell asleep with her mom in her bed, watching all kinds of trash TV until they passed out. She woke up that next morning really not wanting to go back to school but she had practice after school and she really needed the work out, especially after last night’s splurge, not that she had any regrets.

Once both mother and daughter were ready, Esther was dropped off to school munching on some protein crunchies that were like cheetos but of the healthier variety and wearing a new outfit. The shirt was an oversized plaid button down that only had the last two buttons done up, underneath was a black spaghetti strap tank top and she matched it with a black jean short skirt. She was taking a risk. She had never worn a skirt that short, let alone a skirt at all and actually showing leg. But here she was, doing it anyways and it was a little liberating.

"Harry?" Janes asked with some sleep wtill in her voice, meeting him in the hall outside of their respective rooms.
"Yeah, what's up Jane?" He asked her.
"I hate to ask you, but I didn't have a chance to pack a lunch, and I don'ty have enough to get something from school, so-" Harrison nodded, adn reached into one of his back pockets. he withdrew a few notes of cash, and handed them to her.
"Take it, adn don't protest. I can afford it right now, and you could use the peace of mind. Jane just stared at teh two hundred dollars in her hands. It was more than she'd had of her own ever, adn harrison had just handed it over without a thought.
"Harry, are you...rich now?" He smiled.
"Nah, just comfortably well off for the moment. I got paid last night, should keep us comfortable for a little while. I get paid like that again soon..." he put a hand on her shoulder. "...we're moving out. Get an apartment up town, adn get the hell out of here." Jane just stared before she broke into a grin and hugged him.
"Please Harry, make it happen! Thank you!" She said from where she was, her face crushed to his chest. He hugged her back, and they both head out for school.

Harrison parked his car, smiling at how much easier it was now that he didn't hve to wait on rides. He got out, looked around, and cocked an eyebrow. He recognized Esther from a distance, though not the way she was dressed. She was...advertising was going to be the word he used. He liked the change on her, liked what he saw. He smirked, and set off. Asa luck, or planning, would have it, he crossed paths with Esther as they were both about to head up the stairs to get the classroom.
"Martin." He acknowledged her, taking the time to be very obvious about checking her out, and making an appreciable smile at her. "So did you still need a..." he flicked a finger along the collar of her button down, pulling it just slightly more open. "...private tutoring session from me later on today?" He asked her as they moved. "If so, I'll be in my office after school. Swing by if you want something from me." He told her with a wink, and then picked up his pace to leave her behind adn let her process what had just happened.

“Esther Martin, do my eyes deceive me or are you actually wearing the skirt I talked you into buying?” Abby laughed, coming up behind her and off to the side, leaning against the lockers beside her.
Shutting her locker, Esther turned to her and smiled, but bashfully. “Shush.” She giggled. “Yes, I am. I was feeling a little risky. Figured no time like the present to get over my fear of showing my bare legs. Do they look...I mean does it look bad?” She asked, suddenly nervous.

Abby rolled her eyes. “You have fine legs, babe.” She smiled at her. “Work it.” She gave her a hug. “I need to head to the paper real quick before class. I’ll see you there.”
“Okay, hey have you heard from Mal?” She asked.
“Yeah, she texted me today. She’s not coming today but she should be here tomorrow.”
“Okay.” She waved to Abby, watching her go off.

Esther started her way to the stairs to get to her English class and almost tripped over her foot or a step when she heard Harrison’s very distinct voice. “Har--Mr. Trenton.” She smiled, her cheeks turning red. Was he checking her out? Good day to wear a skirt. Gulping as he tugged on the collar of her button down, she got lost in his gaze and nodded her head slowly but couldn’t find her voice. It was only after he walked away, giving her the option to seek him out, did she finally get some coherent thought back. “Kay!” She called out, her eyes widening in embarrassment. What the hell was wrong with her?

Shaking her head, she made her way up the stairs and filed into her English class, taking her seat in the back and watched as Abby approached in too after a few seconds.
“Are you blushing?”
“Me? Blushing? My face is always red at this point.”
“Harrison Trenton?” Abby waggled her eyebrows.
“Shush.” She stuck her tongue out at her before sitting down.

Harrison gave Esther a satisfied smile as she sat down, and then set about gettign out the essays that he had actually graded. Rooke had let him write comments on them, advice, so long as it remained professional. He stood up, and went around the class, tossing htem out to people so that they could see how they did. He dropped Abby's on her desk, and then Esthers.

Truth be told, he'd read Esther's more than once, trying to make sure he had everything that was going on in it. He'd left notes accordingly.

Esther's essay had a 96% on the front of it, showing how she did. The essay was a big enough deal that Rooke had made it a reasonable bump on a person's final grade. A few pages in there werew a few passages circled, simple explanations about why the pieces had been well thought out, pointing out that she was writing at a higher leel than she should. There was talent there, and if Harison was honest with himself, it had been a factor in talking to Esther this morning. There was a mind in there, and it was one that clearly had a lot going for it.

Abby had a 78% on the front of hers. Inside there were points circled, bits pointing out where her marks were going. Sections read too much like a news report, not a proper essay. While that didn't make the writing bad, far from it, but it wasn't in the form in needed to be to accomplish what was being called for.

Rooke took up position at the front of the room.
"All right everyone, let's get started! I see you've got your essays back. If you wqant to complain about them, please direct all of that to Mr. Trenton here." He waved a hand at Harrison as he spoke. Harrison just glowered at the room, daring them to try it. Unsurpriingly no one really seemed eager to jump on that chance. "Otherwise, get our books out, we've got a lot of ground to cover." Rooke started inot his lesson. harrison tuned him out, looking at some ofhte seat work that still needed grading. He spared a glance up now and again at Esther, seeing how she was doing.

Looking up, she met his gaze again and smiled a little shyly. She shook her head and got her notebook and textbook out, as well as her pen. To her surprise, their essays came back and her heart started beating faster. And Harrison graded them so he would see if she was stupid or not. Not even looking at him as he placed her essay on her desk, she turned it over and her eyes widened in delight. Perfect. She looked over his comments and smiled bigger. She was very satisfied with her grade. She worked hard on it, lost sleep for it too.

Abby on the other hand...Looking at her paper, her jaw dropped. “Son of a bitch!” She whispered. “Can you believe this?” She asked Esther but she was busy looking at her own grade. Being the ever nosy person ever, she looked over at her friend’s paper and glared. “Oh, what a dick. He can’t grade you down if you’re sleeping with him.”

At that, Esther snapped out of it and put her paper down. “Excuse me? You’re saying--” She started but realizing she was almost being too loud. She turned to her and whispered. “You think because I had sex with him, he’s going easy on me?”
“Why else?” Abby scoffed, shoving her stupid paper in her backpack.
“Because I worked hard on it?”
“Yeah, yeah, whatever.” She was in a sour mood and though she didn’t mean to assume that Esther was only getting good marks because she was spreading her legs for the TA, she didn’t have the care to refute it either.

Scoffing, Esther just turned in her seat and put her essay away. Mr. Rooke asked if anyone had objections and she looked over to Abby who was just challenging Harrison’s glare before beginning to raise her hand. Esther grabbed it and stopped it from going up.
“Hey!” She whispered.
“After class. Don’t be a sour bitch right now to anyone else.” She hissed back to her.
Grumbling to herself, Abby took her hand back and just turned her attention to work, but mostly she spent the entire class glaring at Harrison.

Esther on the other hand actually paid attention, only glancing at Harrison every now and then but tried to do it when he wasn’t looking. She didn’t want him to see her staring, not that she was staring necessarily, more like just looking at that handsome mug.

After class, Abby packed her stuff up and fled out the door, right after Harrison. Even from inside the classroom at the very back of it, Esther could hear her best friend’s voice. She was not happy about that grade at all and she could only imagine what she was saying. She just really hoped she didn’t go and accuse Harrison of showing treatment, or worse, threaten to turn him in for fucking a student. Which, technically he was allowed to do because he was a student too and not a teacher. But he was also older and she was technically under age…

Grabbing her things, she walked out of the room and saw Abby looking like a tomato, she was so angry. Rather than intervening since it really wasn’t her business, she just walked away and went to her next class, trying to hide behind her hair. When Abby joined her in class, Esther found out she did accuse Harrison of showing preferential treatment. She even shoved her essay back into his hands and demanded a regrading and that if he wasn’t feeling competent enough to do it, she’d take it to Mr. Rooke. By the end of her story, Esther’s jaw was dropped and she looked horrified.

“What? Just because you all fear him, doesn’t mean I do.” Abby scoffed.
Oh god…

After school, Esther found herself walking to Harrison’s ‘office’ but she was a ball of nerves with raging butterflies in her stomach. She hoped he wasn’t terribly pissed off about Abby and she was also a little afraid that by going to see him, she was putting herself in the line of fire. But she couldn’t literally will herself not to go. She wanted to go see him. She wanted...she wanted whatever he was willing to give her. It was exciting. And he was Harrison Trenton after all.

Rubbing her sweaty palms over her skirt, she took in a deep breath before exhaling coolly. She got this. And Harrison Trenton wasn’t going to do anything she wasn’t okay with. And there was no preferential treatment. She deserved that 96%. Right?

Knocking on the door, she opened it after and poked her head in. “Mr. Trenton?”

Harrison was finishing up when he caught sight of Abby. Not wanting to have someone potentially throw a fit in the halls, he waited for her to approach. ANd when she did she certainly flew off the handle at him. he leaned back, watching her with a kind of bemused expression. She might have thought her anger and indignation was impressive, but to him, it rang incredibly hollow. This was a person trying to scabble for marks, someone trying to make something suit the way she wanted it to go. And he was not going to be party to that. But if she was insistant on his going over more closely, then he'd agree to it, though he knew how that story ended. He doubted she did.

Her accusation was something that did legitimately piss him off, but frankly he knew that lashing out at her wasn't going to solve anything now. He'd have to do it properly, and with as much professionalism as he could muster. So on that note, He sent a note to the main office, asking them to relay a message to Abby, telling her that the remarks would be done by the end of school, and she could come and collect it when she felt herself ready to. In the meantime, he ahd things to do.

His office was still quiet, and with his presence in here, the number of students that tried to escape down here to make out had shrank to exactly zero. Harrison heard someone approaching, and checked his watch. Then he took the watch off, and set it in a drawer. When Esther poked her head him, he adopted a particular smirk that she might remember from the last time she was down here.
"Martin, goo of you to come. Come on in, shut the door behind you." He told her, squaring off a stack of papers, making sure that the remark of Abby's essay was rady to be handed to someone if it came down to that.

He cocked his head, looking at her stance.
"Something the matter?" He asked her, noting her posture. He'd seen her nervous before, but this was a different kind of nerves. She wasn't so much scared of him, there was something else at play here.

Nodding her head, Esther walked in and shut the door behind her. She set her bag down and walked forward to his desk, fumbling with her fingers. Stopping in her movements, she kind of froze, taken back by his question. Wow, and here she thought it was going to be a wham-bam-thank-you-ma’am kind of deal. “Uh…Well I know Abby kind of went off the rails with you. She’s competitive you see and she saw my grade and then hers. And she knows that we’ve...a couple of times, and I guess I wanted to make sure that the grade you gave me reflected my work and nothing else, and also to apologize for her attitude. She’s a bit…” She paused to think of the proper word. Bitchy didn’t seem right, even if it was true. “Headstrong?” She stopped fidgeting with her hands and dropped them at her side, although she still fidgeted, playing with the corner of her plaid shirt.

“And...I guess I was more worried than anything else that her outburst didn’t terribly sour your mood, and by extension your attitude or mood toward me.”

Harrison nodded as she spoke.
"Well, I never asked you to keep it a secret. That would imply that I was ashamed of what we'd been up to, which you'll note I'm not. So her knowing is what it is. Her sounding off on me was...kind of predictable in a way? She facies herself the best at what she does, so any time she slips up it's hard to see that she might have just amde mistakes, adn throws blame on someone else. Like me!" harrison explained with a smile.

"As to whether our...extracurricular actvities influenced your mark, I'll give a qualified no to that." he stood up from the desk, coming around it towards her. There was a kind of easy motion to it, making it seem like it was almost a glide towards her. "I've seen your work, read it, and even back checked a few projects. You're not writing at the level you should be, you're year ahead of that point. There's a lot more going on in here..." He reched out a hand and gently tapped two fingers on her forehead. "...than I think even your friend understands." He told her. He smiled at her. "If you'd done a bad job, I'd have given you a bad grade. A person only ever gets what they earn from me." His smile changed to a more...hungry one. He cuupped the side of her face.

"So do you think that your performance on the essay warrants...a celebration or reward?" he asked her with a teasing note to his voice.

She smiled a little. “Right, and I wasn’t ashamed of what we did either.” She probably should have been since it was while she was with Chad but she couldn’t really feel guilty anymore. What’s done was done. And if she really did feel so guilty then she wouldn’t be here now, honing in on her thirds with Harrison Trenton.

“Yeah, I’m hoping she will learn to take criticism, constructive especially, better because if she wants to be a reporter, she needs to.” She nodded her head. But the defining moment came as he clarified for her that the grade she got reflected solely on her work and nothing else. She beamed at that. Harrison Trenton though she had the smarts. His compliments were like an honor and she almost wanted to wilt under them because she didn’t think she was that great. She just sacrificed sleep in order to get the work done but truth be told, she did it all the night before. Procrastination was her M.O. But he didn’t need to know that.

“Thanks.” She looked up at his face and could feel that hunger emanating from him. She was the prey. She was always the prey and it was the one time she liked it. Licking her lips that felt so dry, she turned her cheek into his hand, her eyes closing halfway as she looked downward. Looking up at him again, she smiled slowly. “Reward?” She rolled her eyes a little. “Celebration Mr. Trenton. What would I need a reward for?” She stepped closer to him, letting her hands come up to rest on the hard panes of his chest over his shirt. “Unless you’re the one looking for a reward?” She teased.

She was starting to come inot her own now, getting a little more...playful. He liked that in her, this awakening of a new side in her that was likely as new to him as it was to her. Still, it always paid to foster that kind of thing. Encouragement could go a very long way.
"Oh, I think good work should always be rewarded really. Doing anything less makes it easy to forget that good work is something important." he answered her, feeling her put hands on his chest, and he snaked a hand under her button down, giving her a gentle yet firm pull towards him, gettign them closer together, making her crane her neck if she wanted to look him in the eye.

"But then I think we can find something that I can do in here that might make you think I've earned a reward of some kind too." His grin went to being positively wolfish. "But as they say...ladies first." he leaned down to kiss her, his arm snaking around her body, his hand rising up to go between her shoulder blades, and pulling her tighter to him, his other arm dropping to run up along her bare leg, lifting her foot off the ground, adn using that as a grip to actually pick her up off the floor, getting her all the way up to eye level with him.

“Spoken like an educator Mr. Trenton, I’m impressed.” She grinned. “A really hot, sexy, chiseled, rugged, educator.” She said a little breathlessly, as if all those adjectives reminded her of exactly the effect he had on her to begin with. Not that she forgot but it was one of those ‘in the moment’ kind of things. And as his arm moved around her, pulling her flush up against him, she was once more reminded of his impressive strength too. He could be like Clark Kent. A much hotter version of Clark Kent that is.

Esther slid her arms around his neck and smiled bigger. “I think we can figure out a lot of somethings you can do in here, Mr. Trenton. Don’t sell yourself short. You’re anything but.” Shivers ran up her spine as his hands slid up her body and as their lips touched, her body melted into his. She was standing on the ball of her feet just to really meet his height with her body pressed up against his. It was so on.

Her legs slid around his hips, like she was climbing a pole with the poles help and she was brought up closer to him. Her fingers slid through his hair and a soft moan came from her as she deepened their kiss. Parting her lips, she looked into his eyes. Her breathing was already a little quicker. “As far as rewards or celebrations go, that was a damn great start.” She was really glad she wore a mini skirt today.
