Raelynn figured that there was quite a few other things she could be doing at the moment, but there was no denying the allure of the market; it was something that she had been always curious abut and never truly allowed to go towards. The coven of witches which she had grown up with since she could remember had always forbad her to go anywhere towards men; they called them vile and disgusting beasts that knew nothing but to sap the life away from a vulnerable girl - very much like they pointed at Raelynn to be.

However, the coven was no more for her.

Enough had been enough, and one recent night while most of the senior witches had been more engrossed with a new demonic summoning ritual that required many of their presences, Raelynn immediately used that distraction to flee. Of course, she was crafty enough to have planned it out weeks ahead; at her mature age of twenty, the other witches thought her trustworthy enough to tell her of their dark and nefarious plans. However, they probably didn't think much of the young woman though; it had been obvious as of late that even though she could still be considered a "witch," the apprentice held no true powerful magical calling. She could light a few candles here and there, and if she concentrated enough, perhaps lift a broom, but that was about the extent of her powers. Partly, that had been both a good and bad thing; the witches had trained her for so long, only to reap such little talent from her, but on the flip side... What was the use of her staying around any longer?

She sought freedom from the old crones who bored her to no lengths now, and in her mind, Raelynn simply couldn't get the image of masculine bodies out. She was only allowed quick and often secret peeks at what she could; hunters who bathed unknowing in the pools nearby, her virgin eyes fixated on the meaty thick lengths that hung between their legs, or the occasional demons that the witches summoned, only to have the creature done to their bidding and swiftly cast back into its own dimension. No, she had certainly quite a bit to learn, and it would start now.

The market nearly overwhelmed the young woman in her hooded cloak, giving just the barest glimpse of perhaps a bare leg here and there as it swished around her lean petite form while she walked slowly between the vendors. Here and there, she stopped, peeking curiously at the wares and often at the men behind them; many seemed fascinated in return, stammering out words and sometimes even giving her gifts. This amused the run-away apprentice to no end, and after simply an hour, her hands were filled with glittering jewels and chains, laughing in contentment for herself as Raelynn sucked absently on a delicious chocolate-covered banana she had bought just moments before. Ignoring the stares and attention that she was gathering, the young witch continued on, unknowing and completely naive of the dangers around her...

Witches... Their powers scary and considered evil, they had to ability to cause mayhem with their powers and it wasn't unknown for smaller villages to have been attacked by the more dangerous of Covens, however in the grand city of Asnahrock they rarely saw witches as the witches dared not venture close due to the nature of the Cities' policy to employ mana sensitive guards, guards that could recognize when there was a large source of mana nearby to them - and therefore recognize a witch.

There had been reports to the head of the guards of a possible influx of mana that could only be caused by a witch or other super natural being, and they where beginning to set up, all around Raelynn as she walked through the city, gifts being handed to her for her beauty, which was undeniable. But the guards had a duty, they would not fall for the pretty looks of the young woman - no! She was a witch, a danger to the people around her, if she lost control of her powers casualties would be high, the guardsmen where in position to strike, but they would do it intelligently.

Captain Bjorn approached the witch with caution, his hand on the hilt of his blade, ready to draw if she was to cause any problems for him. "You there, you're new to town are you not?" he says softly in a calm authoritative manner. The plan was set in motion already, if he could lure her into a trap it would be much safer for the entire populace and much less of a scene, than capturing her here in the middle of the market.

The plan was simple, lure the witch out of the market with lies that all new people to Asnahrock must be registered at a local government office, to make sure that everyone in the City was accounted for in case of a large fire, attack from creatures of the forest, attack from other humans, whatever bad things could happen to the City they wanted to be ready to protect everyone in the City from any danger, hopefully this would make her believe that it was important and possibly lure her out of the way of civilians, he awaited her answer to if she was new to town, which he obviously knew she was - but alas he must play along.

Raelynn simply strolled through the town, knowing of any suspicions that she was attracting; why would she? After all, she had never been taught to be frightened of humans, only to scoff at them, and that was all old crone rubbish that she had thrown out the door with her defiant actions to escape the coven. No one was hurting her, threatening her, or anything. Living here would be quite the fun experience actually!

So still innocently sucking on the chocolate-covered banana, the young apprentice was not quite surprised to see a man approaching her, distinctively more polite and almost wary than everyone else was. There was no reason for him to suspicious of her... Right? So instead, Raelynn simply pushed the questioning thought out of her mind and smiled in response to him, giving a small curtsy as manners asked for it. "Yes, sir! I just arrived this morning, and my, the town is quite lively," she cheerfully responded, laughing carefree and finishing off the snack before tilting her head at him. From what she could see; his attire, the sword he carried, the way he held himself... He must be a guard. And from what she could learn about guards, there were there to help the townspeople, so no doubt, he would want to help her as well?

"Actually, sir... Could you help me around town? I-uhm- I come from a place that doesn't have many people, so this is all quite new and so much more... Bigger than I expected," Raelynn confessed almost shyly, completely unaware of the actual dangers that would be happening to her now.

Regardless of why she was following him didn't matter, if she believed that she was being shown around town by a guard then so be it, all he had to do was get her out of the market and to a place where he could subdue her peacefully, so he nodded content with this as a method. "Of course, follow me Miss." he says gently still cautious of what stood before him, he had a strange feeling, he was very sensitive to creatures with mana and she most certainly had some and she seemed so naive and that made him cautious, what if she had a weak control of her powers? What if she just went off? In an area this small she would surely cause a lot of damage and kill a lot of people.

He began to walk away from her, trusting that she would follow. "First I will allow you a place to drop off all these things you are carrying." he says in a calm manner, he seemed to hit a few words making more emphasis on them. 'a place' and 'drop off' where things that he seemed to emphasize, this was his method of informing the other guards around him some hidden and some not of where he was to take the Witch to apprehend her out of sight and out of mind. He began walking out of the market, trusting that she would follow him.

Oh, not only was he friendly, but he was polite enough to want to show her around? There was no reason why Raelynn wouldn't just follow the man where ever he wanted to direct her, and the smile on her face grew even more at the words that he spoke. This town was truly a blessing; it only made her regret not escaping the coven faster to meet people like these even earlier now! What else would they offer for her?

"Thank you, good sir... May I also know your name?" Raelynn tried to make friendly conversation as she quickly trailed after him, nevertheless if he didn't seem that quite open besides the usual politeness. Letting the hood of the cloak fall careless to expose her white-bleached hair that shone vividly in the sunlight, the magical apprentice was the spitting image of innocence as she shifted the items in her arms around; it would be quite the nice place to reside here for a bit too, if that was possible. There wasn't any risk in asking the guard that now either with a reinvigorated smile, "Good sir, would it be possible for me to stay here? Your town is quite lovely, and if everyone is as gallant as you are... Well, why not?"

He walked with her in tow with a slight smile on his face realizing how gullible this foolish Witch was, she clearly wasn't trained correctly and would soon see the errors of her ways. He marched her out of the market occasionally pointing towards things that where of basically no interest and making stuff up to keep her interested in her 'tour'. It took him about 5 minutes to walk her far enough that he was confident to execute his attack on this witch, they where on a fairly main road but that was fine, he was a guard and she was a threat to the city there was no worry for him.

He turns, holding a large wooden blackjack.. "Sorry little girl but we can't have Witches walking around our town, so no you can't stay here." He says with the sudden swing and hit of the weapon made to knock out the opponent over the head of the petite woman, he didn't hit with his full strength, he didn't want to kill her that was for the burning that would happen to her in public to show the town that their loyal guards caught another witch, but he most certainly hit her hard enough to knock her out. The woman in front of him dropped the items she was holding and collapsed in a heap on the ground, unconscious.

A handful of other guards appeared from in the wings so to speak coming out of alleys and out of buildings moving over and collecting up the items to take them out of the way. Bljorn leaned down and grabbed the petite woman by the waist, lifting up her lifeless body and throwing it over his shoulder, carrying her like she was nothing. "Take these things back to the townsfolk who gave it to her, and you come with me." he says pointing towards Gregory Tucker one of the local guardsmen who he was going to use to watch over the witch before she burnt tomorrow.

After about a 5 minute walk with this petite woman over his large shoulders they arrive at the dungeons of the closest guard station, he moved her into a cell with manacles hanging from the ceiling which he wrapped around her small wrists hanging her from the roof like an animal, while she was left in the cell. Once she was firmly hung up he moved back grabbing a bucket of water which he threw at the unconscious girls face to bring her back around once she inevitable woke up to see the guard before him standing in this dirty dark stone prison cell Bjorn said. "You will hang here until tomorrow Witch, then we will burn you at the stake in front of the townsfolk. We don't like Witches here." he says softly before turning around to his guardsmen, saying something under his breath but still understandable to Raelynn. "Watch her, don't let her do anything dodgy and don't fall for her tricks." he says before marching out and slamming a wooden door behind him.

Tucker locks the gate on the cell and stands with his back to the Witch in front of the bars making sure that he was vigilant for anyone who might come and attempt to break her out while he waited, doing his job, waiting for the time when his guard captain would return and tell him that it was time for her to burn.
