Is He A Lover or A Fighter {guitarfan2810 & WrittenFantasies}

Jake rubbed her leg when she talked about the Paris Fashion show and Christmas. He smiled at the thought of everyone being together for Christmas.

He wasn't sure what Drew's problem was. It kind of annoyed him and pissed him off. They were being nice and that was wrong but then if they let them pay for it, then that was wrong too. He was grateful for Andre to say something. "We understand Lana couldn't make it. Hopefully she can for Christmas." He gave Andre a nod for his help with Drew.

Amy and Luke mentioned that they loved the idea, "It will be nice to have you back in Denver for Christmas."

"I just think a White Christmas would be nice and this way we all can be together. And we will find a pet friendly place so you can bring your animals too."

"And Owen will be walking by then so we can have some fun in the snow. We never got a snowball fight when we were younger so we can have a huge snowball war." She smiled. "It's going to be fun, I know that much."

Drew mumbled so ring under his breath but for the melt part was quiet. Adri wouldn't be upset if he was missing from Christmas but her mother would want him around. And it was Christmas so he would probably be around unless he wanted to be alone.

When it came time to order, Adri ordered two bottles of the fancy red wine and some Alfredo with chicken and garlic bread and got her baby boo some spaghetti. Once everyone ordered, the waitress went off to put the order in and grab the wine.

"I can't eat too much. So we have to get to go boxes." She said softly and pushed his hair back. She smiled at him and kissed his cheek. "Don't let him get to you. He's always been like that." She said softly. "I'm not his favorite person in the world. We've never gotten along. I'm surprised he's here."

"You don't want a snowball war with us Colorado natives. Amy and I will kill you." Jake teased Adri with a smile. They were always playful and competitive.

Jake gave Drew a look. He'd be civil because he's Adri's brother and it's her day, but he was really upsetting him. But he let it go.

Jake ordered chicken and capellini with olive oil and tomatoes. He also asked for a small salad.

"Babe...eat...enjoy...I'll go to the gym with you in the morning. And I'll kick your ass." He smiled at Adri when she told him not to let her brother get to him. She knew him all too well. "How did you know?" He rubbed her leg and gave her a small kiss. "The king doesn't like it when his queen is disrespected."

"Can you go to the gym with me?" She asked softly. "I don't want you to hurt yourself." She said softly and rubbed his thigh. She laughed, "He's my brother and you are my future husband. He's annoying and I know when you are annoyed." She shrugged her shoulder. "He's a pain in the ass and you are seeing it." She said softly.

"Are we going home after this?" She asked and looked Owen. "Hopefully this spaghetti doesn't turn his hair red." She said and ran her fingers through Owen's white blonde hair and in the process spiking it up. "He might need another bath tonight and the last one went so well." She said sarcastically.

"So who is Owen staying with tonight and who is going with us to the after party?"

Jake smiled at Adri, "I can go anywhere I want...now can I work out with you...no probably not. I can walk...." He frowned at walking but he probably should do it anyway. Gor a split second he wondered if yoga would help but figured the flexibility would either help or make things worse. He wasn't sure if he wanted to chance it. "What do you think of me and yoga?" He asked her. It was true, Adri knew him and knew when he was annoyed. "I'm not afraid of telling him he's being a jerk..."

"It shouldn't hurt his hair babe...we can go home if you want we don't have to though. It's up to you." He watched Owen a few moments.

Jake pointed to his dad. "Dad is planning to take him unless your mom and dad want him. He's fine either way. Amy and Luke are coming for a bit to the party then doing their own thing. As to your brothers I'm not sure..." He kissed her shoulder. "I'm going to the after party and the after party after party." He grinned. "Oh and...Luke knows..."

She smiled, "I know but don't. I don't want anyone fighting today. Okay?" She knew her brother wouldn't back down just because Jake called him a jerk. She didn't want it to escalate. She didn't want fists to fly and Jake to hurt himself further. She could see it happening and she wouldn't be happy with either of them if that happened.

It would be nice to walk around but she didn't want to cart around a baby that smelled strongly of garlic either. She shrugged her shoulder, "We will see after lunch."

She smiled, "Andre' can stay but his wife may not like it if he parties with Angels too long so he may go do something else. The other three will probably stay all night long." She shook her head and smiled at Jake. "They will stick together whatever they do."

She laughed, "That after after party is going to be amazing." She smiled. "But what does Luke know?" She asked curiously. He couldn't know about Amy and he shouldn't know about their fun time after the reveal.

He put his hand up. "I wouldn't do that to you. Not today of all days. I love you." He smiled at her and kissed her cheek and gave her a small wink. "I'll play nice. Just because I love you."

Jake laughed. "I can't blame them. They get to party with angels. Why would they pass that up? I wouldn't. I'm not." He gave her a nod about them sticking together. "Should I have bail money ready? They seem like trouble." He teased with a smile.

"Oh yes it will..." He smiled and gave her a quick kiss. He decided to keep that information of what Luke knows to himself. "About the surgery. I got him up to date. He hadn't known because of the honeymoon and not being home. He is all for getting me fight ready when I'm ready to train."

"Maybe for Drew." She said about the bail money. He was the trouble maker of the group. Her other brothers went to college or joined the military. Drew didn't do that. He wasn't sure what he wanted to do. Adri wasn't sure what he was doing now since it changed every so often. He had been in trouble with the law before. They had a huge fight in high school and never got along since then.

She shook her head, "Right. I forgot how long we have all been apart." She said softly. "We've haven't been away from them this long ever. Like since Amy moved into the pool house." She said softly.

"He should go to the pre-op appointment with us. He understands all of the muscles and how they work and heal and stuff. He will be able to get a better judgement of what is being done and how to train you back to your usual strength when you are back in the ring."

"So should I worry about it or just let him sit?" He teased and smiled a bit. Jake didn't mean it, he'd help any of her family out just like she'd help his.

It had been awhile almost over a month. "Yeah. I'm not going to lie I miss my best friend. But I know they deserve this time together. I bet you miss you hanging out with Amy a bit too don't you. You two have gotten pretty close."

"That's a good idea babe. I'm sure he'd be willing to go with us. But then how do we say Amy can't go. And I don't want a bunch of people going. Especially if we get bad news of any sort at any time." He shrugged. "Let's not worry about that now. Today is about you babe." He smiled at her proudly.

"Have you told your fans yet?"

"We can let him sit for a little while. We'd have to send Luke to get him out though. I don't think our PR would like to see us bailing anyone out of jail." She smiled.

"I did miss her very much. But I also enjoyed some time alone with you." She kissed his cheek and smiled at him. "It's a pre-op Jake. They are just running over what will be done to you. I think everyone who will have a hand in taking care of you afterwards should be there. The doctor will go over after surgery care and they need to know everything I know and if they have questions the doctor is right there. Is it a lot of people, yes but it's your support group and we all need to be there."

She shook her head to telling her fans.. She pulled out her phone and posted the picture of the three of them and Owen pointing at the billboard. She captioned it with a long heart felt post about dreams coming true and hoping that even more come true in the future.

Jake chuckled, "Poor Luke has no idea he's going to be my bitch for the rest of his life." He laughed. "That's what he gets for marrying my sister and being my best friend."

"You two should hang out...go shopping or something or do something girly." He shrugged. "OOooo I can take Luke to the casino." He chuckled. "Alright...alright...So who, you, Luke, Amy, dad?" He asked.

Jake liked her post and put one similar up on his own page telling the world how lucky he was and proud of his girl he was. He then sat back and just wrapped his arm around Adri as he watched their families. It was nice to see everyone together and be supportive of Adri, they could have told him no and not showed, but they did. And that meant a lot to him because he knew what it meant to her.

"Well what did my decide to do next?" He asked as he got his card out to cover the bill for everyone.

"And O. He will have a hand in helping you recover too." She smirked.

Dinner was amazing and everyone made conversation. They would all be one big family soon so it was ice to see that they all got along. "Well, Owen isn't as messy as I thoug he would be. The after party isn't until 9. I think we can walk around for a bit. He'll crash in his stroller. I'll change him back in the car while you get the stroller set up. Or you can change him while I do the stroller." She corrected since the stroller might push the weight on his body and she didn't want to do that. They had a long night tonight and she needed him in tiptop shape.

"We don't have to go shopping but a walk would be lovely. Oh and Madam Tussaud's saw our video and they want to do wax figures for the Vegas museum. You in your fight clothes and not that I'm an angel, I'll probably be in some Angel wings." She smiled. "Unless they want to do one of us together. Which is possible. But I think they will be separate but close together in the actual museum. And it's perfect for you. They take a butt ton of pictures put dots all over your body and color match your skin and hair and eyes. It'll be a lot of fun."

"He will have a big hand in it. But he just has to give daddy cuddles and kisses and smiles. That's his contribution." Jake smiled with a little chuckle. He loved that kid so much.

Jake was fine to go for a walk. "I can get the stroller. Just us going or everyone?" His hand rubbed her back. "When are you changing for the after party?"

"Seriously? I want to wait until I become champion so they can add the belt to my person." He smiled big. "That's awesome babe." He kissed her with a small kiss.

"Everyone ready?"

"Just the three of us would be nice." She smiled. "Take him to a museum for a little fun before we go have our night of fun." She smiled even bigger. "I'll change around two hours before so we have time to get lost in the city for a bit."

She nodded her head, "Seriously. You can give them different outfits but they will probably make a new one for that and by then you'll have your tattoos and you'll need a new model anyways."

Everyone stood and thanked Jake for lunch. They got outside and stood around to figure out where everyone was going and what time they needed to meet up for the after party then they split up. Hike Jake got Owen's stroller ready, Adri got him chained and cleaned up with a bunch of diaper wipes.

She got him in the stroller and smiled at Jake. She walked by his side with her hand on his lower back while he pushed the stroller.

"Just the three of us can go. That's fine." He was more than happy with just the three of them spending time together. "You missed everyone, but you like just time with your boys don't you?" He smiled at her.

"I didn't think about my tattoos. But...how do they do that with the belts? I'm not giving them my belt. That's my belt." He told her. "Is it a fake one? And I have to give them my clothes? I'll have to figure out what I want to give them to use.

Jake got the stroller ready then started off walking with Adri and Owen. They walked by a shoe store and Jake stopped and pointed. "Let's go in there. I want to check on some shoes to work out and run in." He went in with Owen's stroller and looked around a bit. He found a pair of Under Armour shoes that he liked and decided to get them. "Baby you find anything you want?"

"I'm going to see everyone tonight and tomorrow. I'll do something with my brothers one day and Amy another. Luke is here for you more than me. But a double date would be nice. We have a lot to catch up on."

She smiled and decided to pick on him, "Ni they need your real belt or you don't get the figure." She teased. "You'll take it with you and they will take pictures of it and color match it and all of that. You get to keep your belt."

They walked into the shoe store and it was mainly work out shoes, so whike Jake did the shopping Adri kept Owen entertained. When she found the kids section she went a little crazy and pulled o a bunch of shoes for Owen. When he started walking he'd be the talk of the town. He'd have a shoe closet for the big guys to be jealous of. She found some baby Timberlands and she got one of each size so he would always have a pair to wear in both wheat and black. She got wheat and black for her and Jake too so they could match.

When Jake found hem they had their stacks of shoes, mainly tiny boxes for Owen but four big boxes for her and Jake. "Yeah I found a few things." She smiled. "Don't say it. He will be walking before we know it and now he's prepared and look." She showed him the cutest smallest timberlands and smiled, "Look at how cute it is. And we can all match." She smiled.

"And if he doesn't wear a pair or grows out of them we can always donate but he's getting the Tims and we are too."

"Speaking of dates...I realized we've never been to the movies together. We should totally do that." He smiled at her.

"Shut up babe...they aren't taking my belt. They won't make me if that's how it goes. It just won't happen." He shrugged like it was no big deal.

Jake just looked at her and blinked a few times. "Babe....no...we are not buying one of every size. He will skip sizes. We will just come buy what he needs. No..." He pointed to the boxes of all the sizes. "But I did find matching Jordans for us." He smiled proudly. "Not us..." Jake pointed to her and then Jake. "But us." He pointed to Owen and then himself. He showed her the matching shoes. They were all of Jake's favorite colors. "He's gonna be the hippest kid in Vegas." He gave Owen a kiss. "Alright let's get out of here before we need to call the driver to just pick up the shoes."

She rolled her eyes, "You'd probably cry if they didn't make one of you." She teased further. "Relax. You'll get your wax figure Boo and it will look as good as you. They have to get the butt right though. If the butt isn't right then I won't like it." She shrugged.

"What if they stop making them?" She asked and pointed at him, "Then we missed this chance and I hold it against you for the rest of your life. Are you prepared for that?" She asked him, hoping the threat would stick.

She perked up when he mentioned getting them matching Jordan's and then she frowned when he waved his finger between himself and Owen. "I go through the trouble of finding your size in Timberlands in both wheat and black and you only get shoes for you and O? Then we can just leave your Timbs right here." She said patting the boxes.

She picked up the pair that fit Owen now and then two sizes up from that and put the others back. "The rest of your like Jake." She gave him the kid's boxes and picked up their boxes to walk to the register. "You have to admit they are pretty stinking cute shoes."

"I would not cry. How many times have you seen me cry? Seriously?" He pushed her with his hip.

Jake rolled his eyes about holding it against him for life. "You are awful. He will be fine. I'll be fine." He sighed and shook his head.

He shook his head. "Get whatever you want. If he doesn't wear a size or only wears it for a week, we donate them. Deal?" He raised an eyebrow at her.

"I knew you'd feel left out so I got you a pair of matching Jordans too. But you have to wear them...especially when we do...Deal?" He leaned over to kiss on the deal. "You're lucky I love both of you and you need to call the driver or a Uhaul...how are we getting these home Adriana?"

She smiled and nodded her head, "I'm pretty sure I said that but he will wear them all and he will look damn cute doing it but I am never giving up the first pair. Those are mine forever to remember how tiny he was." She she smiled

She laughed and kissed him back, "It depends on when you wear them. But I will wear them with you both one day." She kissed him back.

"I love you too." She smiled and sent the driver a text with their location so he could drive over. "We will buy another suitcase if we have too. It's fine. One of my suitcases wasn't that full anyways. I don't need the Nike box so that will save some space. And a little birdie told me that the Louis store here has the entire vintage trunk set, down to the watch box. I'd be willing to give up the suitcases I have for the set." She smiled.

"I am just making sure you are aware of the guidelines." He shook his head with a small smile about his first pair. "Are you keeping his first everything?"

Jake thought it over. "Some fancy awards show. Owen and I will wear ours so you have to wear yours too." He grinned mischievously.

He went to pay. "Baby...I don't know what you're talking about. We can go look and I'll decide then." He smiled at her and a few fans apologized for interrupting but wanted pics with Adri and Jake. Jake didn't mind as he posed for the photos. After everything was purchased he took the bags outside to put into their car. Owen didn't know what was going on but the kid was a trooper and was having fun. Jake put his Jordans on Owen. "Now my buddy is styling. Where to now love?"

She nodded her head, "Yeah, I still have his coming home outfit. I need to get it framed. "Smells like newborn baby. I open the bag it's in sometimes. He doesn't smell like that anymore though." She sighed. She'd have to wait to smell that again.

"Louis." She said softly but as they walked she cuddled up to him. "Before we get there I just want to remind you of a few things, okay?" She smiled at him and wrapped her arms around his. "One, with this luggage set, we will never ever ever need another luggage set. Ever. Two, I love you very much. Three, I signed a 7 million dollar contract with VS about a month ago. 3, I will share. 4, I will love you like, alot alot. and 5 is just a small bonus one, but they make them to order so it will be months before we see any of them sadly but remember the first four and we will be fine."

She walked into the store with them and showed him the example. In the store they had them all stacked up by size for display. "This is it. I want it in the brown. It looks so historical and pretty." She rubbed the biggest one on the bottom. "And we can pass these down for generations. And remember the golden four. Ooh and 6, I can bring back more presents for you guys when I have to travel. Because there is no way I can fill and entire trunk."

He knew she kept the outfit but smelling it was something he didn't know. "You do that?" It was no denying she loved that little boy.

It was nice to have cuddle him but then when she started with the luggage set. "Well babe...this is where you screwed up. One, You should love me alot alot already. Two, you should have started with that. Three, you should share regardless. Four, your boys don't expect gifts." He pointed for her to lead the way.

Once in the store he shook his head. "How many of these do we get? All of them? Do you need all of them?" That was dumb. She would probably say she did need all of them. After a few moments he walked away and looked at the wallets. He kept walking around not giving her an answer.

She nodded her head, "Not all the time but when I see the bag. New baby smell is better than any new anything smell." She shrugged her shoulder. "What am I weird now?" She asked.

"But they enjoy gifts and I enjoy giving gifts and I think if I had more space in my luggage I'd be able to give all the gifts that I can give." She raised her eyebrows and smiled.

"Yes I do need all of them. And when they aren't in use I can put them in the corner of my office for decor." She made a face when he moved away to look at wallets. Was he really going to make her wait for her yes. She sighed and while he looked around, she did too and the casually walked up next to him, "You see that small one on top?" She asked. "It can hold eight of your watches and it locks so a four number dial." She informed him and then looked at her nails.
