"Don't you think this is a little too much for a movie?" Sydney asked, referencing the dress that her friend Jenna had picked out for her to wear. Jenna looked over her friend for a brief moment before shaking her head. "No, its perfect." she told her, handing Sydney a tube of mascara. With a sigh, she took it, leaning a bit closer towards the mirror so that she could apply the makeup to her eyelashes. "This is it, no more...prepping me." she spoke as she set the mascara down, a hit of nervousness in her eyes as she gazed down at her phone. The cab that was coming to pick her up would be there any minute, ready to take her downtown to the movie theater where she would go on a date with a man she had never even met.

"What if I don't like him?" she asked for what seemed like the hundredth time that night. "Then you don't see him again. The car's here, you have to go." Jenna responded, pushing Sydney towards the door. "Fine." she groaned, slipping on her shoes and making her way out towards the car. The ride, even though it only lasted about 5 minutes, felt agonizingly long. She spent the entire time wondering about the man she was meeting, and whether or not this whole thing was going to just be one big mistake.

At 20 years old, she'd never really been on many dates. She'd had one short lasted relationship, but other than that, she didn't have much experience to go off of. It wasn't that she couldn't date, considering she often caught the eye of men around her. She had just never been all that outgoing. She was quiet, not the kind of person that got out a lot. She had spent most of her life taking care of her alcoholic father, and now that she was finally out on her own in the real world, she often didn't know how to approach certain things, like men. That was why Jenna, both her friend and roommate, had set up and pushed her to go on the blind date.

"Here you go, miss." the cab driver's voice suddenly interrupted her thoughts. "Um, thanks." she mumbled, looking even more nervous than before as she paid the man and stepped out of the car. Her heart was beating a bit faster than normal as she walked towards the entrance of the theater. Her eyes gazed around her, wondering if she could pick out her date from those standing around the building. He had seen a picture of her, and would easily be able to find her, while she knew absolutely nothing about him.

When at first Jenna had approached him about going out with a friend of hers, a blind date, Dominic Strauss had been a little bit skeptical about the entire set up. Why would he want to go out with a girl who couldn't find her own date? To Dominic it sounded like the girl would come with some kind of baggage, maybe a bad relationship she just got out of or she was just a little bit crazy.. People just didn't do blind dates anymore, there were apps that existed to let people find someone to spend time with based entirely around their physical apperence. Of course when he had raised those thoughts Jenna had assured him that the girl she was setting him up with wasn't crazy and when he had seen a picture from Jenna's phone he was able to see she was rather attractive. He was still suspicious but he had just finished a good long workout (he knew Jenna from the gym they both used) and wasn't seeing anyone at the time so he figured why not. Jenna said the girl was new in town and could use a night out on the town for some fun... and from the look of her Dominic knew just what kind of fun he wanted to have.

That night when he had gotten home he had texted Jenna a movie time for later on that week, letting her know where she should have Sydney go for the actual date. It had been chosen very carefully, Dominic planned to give himself every single possible advantage from the movie choice to the location of an upscale and trendy bar nearby that wasn't too strict when it came to making sure that everyone who had a drink was of legal drinking age.

On the night that he was going to be taking her out Dominic got home from work early, having passed his case files off to an intern for the weekend to makes notes on and brief him come Monday morning, when you were thirty one and on track to be made a junior partner before very long you could occasionally get away with taking some liberties.

Before getting home he had stopped off at the gym for a nice long workout and then, feeling rather relaxed, he made his way to his apartment. A nice long shower, a bit of work done grooming his nails and the rest of his body, followed of course by the application of an appropriate amount of cologne (sandalwood with a hint of vanilla). It was only when he was convinced that his body was clean and groomed that he took the time to get dressed, selecting a collared shirt and a matching pair of slacks, his favorite black lowtop Converse completing the look.

The movie theater was only a few minute walk from the building his apartment was in, the reason that he had chosen that particular theater, and Dominic enjoyed the slight edge of a chill in the air as he made his way down the sidewalk. Already he had been sent a text to let him know exactlly what his date would be wearing, his eyes open and searching for a lovely red head in a black dress.

He didn't have to wait very long, he could see her even as he was rounding a corner on the way to the theater, punctuality was one thing that he liked in a young woman. Actually there were quite a few things that he enjoyed in a young woman but the fact that Sydney had arrived early was a good sign. It had been a while since he had last been on a date, more often then not it was as easy as swiping his finger one way or the other on the screen of his smart phone in order to find himself some night time companionship... this though was the potential for something different and while Jenna might not know the particulars of his tastes what she had told Dominic made her sound promising.

Approaching her, moving through the few people that were moving around like a wolf stalking towards his prey, eyeing her as if she was an isolated young doe just waiting to be dragged down and ravaged. From behind he drew closer to her, admiring the way the dress framed her body before reaching out and laying a hand on her shoulder. “Sydney right?” He asked as she turned around, a single look at her face making it clear to him immediately who she was. “I'm Dominic, the picture Jenna showed me really didn't do you justice.” It was true, she was an absolute vision, already his mind raced with possibilities... the potential she represented.

Sydney's nerves only seemed to grow stronger as she waited, her nervousness looking painfully obvious. Her painted nails drummed against her leg, her body unable to stay still as she constantly shifted where she stood. Again, she found herself wondering why she had even agreed to this. It wasn't like she honestly needed to date. She didn't have time for guys anyway, having a lot on her plate already that she needed to focus on. She had just gotten a new job, and she worked as much as she could to try and keep up with her bills that only seemed to keep growing.

Having been so busy trying to justify why she didn't need to be there in her head, she hadn't even noticed the sound of footsteps coming up behind her. It wasn't until she felt the touch of a hand on her shoulder that her mind was suddenly pulled from her thoughts, drawing in a rather sharp gasp as she jumped under his touch. Her eyes were wide as she turned around, a hint of a blush on her cheeks.

The surprised look that had been plastered onto her face only seemed to deepen as she took in the sight of the man standing in front of her. Dominic. Her body appeared to be frozen as she stared up at him, though her eyes moved around, seemingly taking in every inch of him. He was not only attractive, but his appearance was strangely intimidating. He looked as though he was...commanding.

If it hadn't been for the fact that he had spoken her name, she would have believed that he had mistaken her for someone else. Was a man like that honestly there to meet someone like her? Surely, Jenna had lied about something. He was older, there was no doubt about that, and clearly more established. He seemed to be the exact opposite of what Sydney would have looked for in a guy had she actually sought one out on her own, but even despite that, she seemed to be completely entranced by him.

For a moment, she looked dumbfounded, a voice in her head reminding her that he had spoken to her and that she was just standing there like an idiot. "I..um, thank you." she managed to choke out, tearing her eyes off of him as she tried to pull herself together. Even if he had shown any real interest, she felt as though she was certainly ruining that now. "It's nice to meet you." she spoke again, sounding a little more composed as she dared herself to look back up at him. There was a slight smile on her lips, though he would see something that almost looked like fear in her eyes.

The look of surprise and perhaps what might be a hint of fear in her eyes when she looked at him properly made Dominic smile. She was absolutely gorgeous, the pictures he had been shown just hadn't done her natural beauty justice and he wanted her now more then when he had first laid eyes on her. So expressive, those eyes of her showed so much. Oh Dominic's mind was racing in that moment, full of the desire to see the way that her face might twist and her body would writhe when he expossed her to countless different pleasures and pains that could be experienced at the hands of a man who knew that they were doing. At a glance he could tell that she hadn't the sort of experience that he was able to provide, Jenna hadn't told him anything about Sydney's previous relationships and Dominic thought that it was unlikely she had never gone out with someone before... but no matter what guys she had been dating where she had lived before Dominic was certain that he was beyond comparisson.

“It's nice to meet you as well.” He said with a slight smirk upon his face, entirely sincere in those words, mind racing with the possibilities that this girl might represent for him... of course it was entirely possible that he might be getting ahead of himself in that very moment as it was only a single blind date but she seemed to have so much potential. Instinct told him that she was a good choice, perhaps perfect to meet what he desired.

What he had always desired but been unable to find...

“I mean I don't normally do this sort of blind date thing but I haven't gone out with anyone in a while and Jenna is really persistant about this sort of thing.” And of course the picture that he had seen had made him want to pin her against a wall and rip her clothing from her body before slowly devouring her. Chuckling he smiled a little more naturally if a little bit awkwardly, running a hand back through his hair, finding that the occasional little affectation like that tended to put people more at ease. It was of course a good thing to be confident but too much could scare someone off, better to let her get used to how self assured he was a little bit at a time.

Reaching out he laid a hand on her waist, a gentle and rather simple touch as he turned to lead her towards the entrance of the movie theater. “I already grabbed our tickets so all we need is to grab sme drinks and we should be good.” Of course even the choice of the movie had been a careful one, a well reviewed and apparently quite frightening horror movie that had been out for a few weeks, in fact this was the last night that it was set to be showing in this particular theater. In his reasoning the occasional scares the film provided would make her more vulnerable and of course it wasn't likely to have many other people there... plenty of seclusion.

Because of this once they had gotten some drinks and made their way into the theater Dominic wasn't the least suprised to see that it was empty with only a few minutes until the starting time, leading Sydney up into one of the further back rows of the theater just as the lights began to dim.

A hint of relief washed over her as he smiled at her, not seeming to be put off by her nervousness. Her own smile widened as he told her it was nice to meet her as well, the man already seeming to give her butterflies. It was a strange feeling, one she had never really felt before. Of course, she had always been intimidated on dates, but this seemed to be entirely different. There was something about Dominic that she couldn't quite place, and she couldn't tell whether she liked it or not. Either way, he had her full attention.

"Yes, Jenna is definitely persistent.." she spoke with a laugh, biting her lip slightly as she gazed up at him. She knew now why Jenna had refused to show her a picture of Dominic before hand. Had she known that this was who she was coming to meet, she wouldn't have gone. It wasn't that she wasn't interested, but he seemed to far out of her league. He seemed interested though, much to her surprise.

For a moment, she became lost in her own thoughts, his touch pulling her back to the present. She drew in a soft gasp as his fingers rested against her waist, the simple touch feeling strangely electrifying. She looked a bit overwhelmed as he led her inside, a contrast to his calm, cool demeanor. 'Get it together..' she thought to herself as Dominic ordered their drinks, her mind all over the place as she tried to figure out her emotions. She couldn't seem to understand why he had such a strong affect on her, considering the two were essentially complete strangers to one another. He had only spoken a few sentences to her, yet he seemed to spark an array of emotions within her.

Sydney appeared to be a little more relaxed as they made their way into the theater, not really paying much attention to the fact that they were the only ones there. "I apologize in advance if I grab you when I get scared." she told him, a faint blush on her cheeks, though he may not have noticed in the dim lighting of the theater. She didn't seem to know what else to say to him. For the next hour or so, she wouldn't have to worry about talking though, which was a bit of a relief. She could spend the duration of the movie trying to figure out how to talk to him afterwards, or at least figure out how not to make a fool of herself.

She reacted very strongly to what was essentially a very simple touch, not entirely innocent but it was hardly anything perverse or obscene. The more time he spent around this girl the more he was starting to put together the pieces about her. Jenna had said that she was new in town but hadn't given him any details about where she was from though Dominic hadn't even thought to ask her about that... and to Dominic it seemed likely that she had likely come to the city from a smaller town. That little conclusion didn't come from how she reacted though, instead it came to him through countless small things, the way she held herself, the way her eyes moved about and countless other small details that could be gleaned at a glance. Even the dress she wore, while it looked fantastic on her it was clear right away that it wasn't the sort of thing she might normally wear, she moved in it almost as though she wasn't used to wearing something quite so revealing.

OF course this all seemed like just what Dominic had been looking for. If he was right she would be... well she would be innocent and in that innocence there would be a great deal of potential. So many that he went out with were flawed because they just couldn't meet his expectations, past experiences with other men, learning what they did or didn't enjoy, made it nearly impossible for them to end up meeting his expectations. His tastes were a bit extreme, he tended to be demanding... but if Sydney was innocent in the way he thought she might be then she wouldn't have much by way of preconceptions or past experiences that might poison any potential for a relationship.

“It's alright if you get nervous, I won't complain at all if you grab hold of me.” As they sat down he was quick to raise the armrest between the two seats so there wouldn't be any barrier in between them. He had noticed her blush, her skin was pale enough that he could make it out without to much trouble at all even as the lights were dimming, making him wonder if that blush spread across the rest of her body, wondering if her skin would turn the exact same lovely shade of red after his hand had crashed against it a few times... his open palm coloring her flesh with each blow as she thanked him for the experience and the lessons.

As he settled in next to her he didn't waste much time reaching out with his left arm to slip it around her shoulders, letting his hand hang naturally, fingers crazing her collar bone. In truth the movie meant very little too him, this seemed like a great way to draw the girl out and get them into something approaching a secluded place. Ideally he would have rather have her join him at his apartment where he could just rip off her dress and throw her to the floor but that hadn't seemed too likely to work out. Here at the theater though they weren't likely to be interrupted as he pushed her boundaries and learned just what her limits were and how he could begin to move them. With a slight smirk on his face he used the arm around her shoulder to pull her towards him until they were pressed side by side, able to feel the warmth of her body next to his own as the previews started up.

It was about time to find out just how innocent she was... and just how she would respond to a little bit of pressing on her limits.

Sydney smiled at his words, feeling a bit relieved by the fact that he didn't seem to mind if she were to grab hold of him. Strangely enough, she wanted to touch him. The thought seemed to surprise her, feeling a bit unsure as to why she would crave something so unfamiliar. Her mind went back to the way it had felt when his arm had slipped around her waist, wanting to feel it again. Though it was simple, his touch had sparked something inside of her, something she didn't quite understand.

As though Dominic had been reading her mind, she felt his arm slip around her as he sat down in the seat next to her. For a moment, her body tensed, as though it was unsure of how to respond to him. It was what she had wanted though, and as she reminded herself of that, she began to relax. It was strangely satisfying, yet also intimidating being so close to him. She could feel the warmth of his body pressing into hers, his arm holding her close to him. He didn't seem nearly as affected by their closeness as she was, the man acting as though this was a regular thing for him. She found herself wishing she could be so collected, so at ease.

A soft sigh left her lips as the lights dimmed further and the opening credits began to play. Now, she didn't have to worry about making a fool of herself, at least until the movie was over. At least that was what she had thought. The movie had just begun as she felt his fingers brush against her neck, the action causing her to draw in a sharp breath. His touch seemed to leave a tingling sensation behind on her skin. Almost instantly, he seemed to pull her attention away from the movie, her mind once again focused on the close proximity of his body to hers. She found herself wondering if he knew what he was doing, and if he knew what kind of reaction he would get from her.

This girl really was rather innocent and sensitive given the way that she was responding to some very simple touch from him. To most this would be considered exceedingly innocent, perhaps a little forward to do this so quickly, before the movie proper had even started. Of course this was how Dominic preferred to operate, he viewed wasting his time as absolutely worthless and so he would rather figure it all out as quickly as was possible. Right now he wasn't just moving into a position where he could take advantage of his lovely date... though he very much intended to do that but instead it was a way to test her, to learn more about her. The little sigh, the intake of her breath and a brush of his fingers over her neck let him know that her heart was beating rather quickly. All very good from his perspective, especially when taken in conjunction with the fact that she wasn't moving to stop him in any way, not only did this excite her but she was also enjoying it.

For a little while he allowed her to grow used to the simple contact, the easy touch and the proximity of his body. As impatient as he was for answers and the pleasures that she could bring to him he also knew he needed to wait for a little bit so that she would be more at ease with everything. He advanced in steps, neither too quickly nor too aggressively. As she grew more relaxed against him, perhaps even leaning into his touch a little bit, Dominic was slowly shifting, allowing the arm draped over her shoulder to draw her a little closer. Of course that let his hand dip lower, brushing finger tips over the top of her breast as it descended, not groping her but instead feigning innocence in the touch, the entire time keeping eyes forward on the screen as though he were doing nothing at all untoward.

The feel of her breasts, light though it was, absolute perfection. Not the largest he had ever enjoyed in the past but the lightest touch confirmed for him that they were as firm and perky as they looked, a growing bulge down the left leg of his pants making it clear to Sydney (if she were to notice) just how much her date was enjoying the simple proximity of their bodies, the warmth and smell from her was a little intoxicating. He wanted to remain patient, to be controlled and take his time but Dominic knew that he just couldn't do it, the arm not draped around her moving, his hand coming to rest lightly on her knee, thumb brushing against the bottom of her dress, bolder then the arm around her shoulder certainly but hardly obscene... not yet.
