Rosemary del Ridenhart mumbled incoherently to herself in her bed, rolling onto her side and clawing briefly at the sheets before settling back into a shallow slumber. The bright rays of sunshine that filtered in from the window were highly unwelcome to her sleepy girl like her, and the sound of cheerfully chirruping birds did little to alleviate her mood. She wasn’t a morning person, and she wasn’t about to try and become one anytime soon. Having grown up in a luxurious mansion near the capital, Rosemary had been pampered and spoiled all her life as the one and only daughter to the noble Ridenhart family. Had her mother not passed away, and her father remarried that thieving whore of a step-mother Rose would most likely have remained with her parents right up until the moment Prince Charming came along and swept her off her feet. But unable to deal with the nagging, complaining and whining of her step mother Rose had moved out of home and into one of the Ridenhart holiday houses.

Originally she’d moved here with two of her father’s servants; Maribelle and Yosef but both of them had moved out a month ago, unable to deal with their mistress’s spoiled bratty behaviour and unrealistically high expectations. Rose had never been the typical nice girl, but her temper tantrums had gotten worse over the past few years, an unavoidable consequence no doubt of the mental anguish her step mother had put her through. She’d barely managed to survive a week once they’d left. Unable to cook, clean or take care of herself in any way. She’d ultimately ended up employing one of the nearby locals villages to send over a competent slave-boy…. Well, he wasn’t really a slave but the village was indebted to her family for some age old favour, and from what she’d gathered, the boy had some personal circumstances that prevented him from storming off like her last two servants… not that Rose cared. As long as he did his job, she wasn’t all that fussed what his reasons were.

With the sun rising well and truly into the sky, Rose turned in her bed once more, despite her body feeling as if it had turned to lead, she couldn’t ignore the hunger that rumbled in her stomach. It was far too late for breakfast, and a bit too early for lunch, but it’d been nearly two weeks since Nuno had moved in as her live-in servant. Surely by now he’d have memorized Rose’s daily schedule and prepared her a dainty little breakfast along with a pot of freshly made jasmine tea; served in… hmm, well she had quite the ceramic tea cup collection, though today she felt like being served her breakfast with the elegantly designed cup her father had presented her with on her thirteenth birthday. She’d like the table cloth to be changed into something a bit tinged, perhaps the creamy pink cloth she’d had Maribelle go off to the city and purchase? And she felt like lavender today, after all, one simply couldn’t enjoy a good breakfast without some freshly picked flowers could they?

The sun had already rose pretty high into the sky as Nuno continued to prepare things in the kitchen for the little 'princess's' meal, in just almost two weeks the boy had learned that she never woke up early enough for breakfast and she was rather picky with how things were done. The blond had gotten himself up early as usual to prepare a freshly baked loaf of bread, dusted off, cleaned up little things, and preparing a thing or two while the bread was in the oven, before starting to prepare the young lady's meal. When Nuno had been warned of the girls temper tantrums, he had brushed it off as nothing but rumors, knowing well how sometimes those did tend to swell out of proportion but in just the short time Nuno had been living with her he had learned just how true things were. Sighing to himself, the rabbit boy continued preparing the breakfast. Slicing up the freshly baked bread, Nuno found himself thinking back to the day he had been told he would now be working for one of the members of the Ridenhart family.

"Just remember Nuno... Don't do anything to distress Lady Rosemary Del Ridenhart." The blond remembered the older lady's words, even more so since it was rather unusual for her to address someone by their full name. Granny as everyone called her, had taken care of Nuno ever since he was a kid, she had found him abandoned on the side of the road and from that day Granny became his world. He did everything for that older woman, and when she had told him that no matter what he was supposed to do a good job, of course he would. Granny had taken care of a few orphaned children over the years, though as sweet and kind the old woman seemed, those who knew her well knew not to displease her or get on her bad side. The old woman could be more scary then the local thugs who spent all their time drinking.

Nuno went into the fridge, pulling out a jar of strawberry jam he had made just a few days ago that he knew would compliment the bread he had made this morning. Bringing it to the table, along with a few slices of the bread. The rabbit boy hopped back into the kitchen, taking a look at the time before setting the table with a plate, waiting with placing a cup since Rosemary always changed with what set she wanted to use. A fork was placed on the side of the plate, along with a knife before the boy hopped back to the stove, stirring a moment the porridge that was just about ready. The young girl would soon be waking up if her usual sleeping pattern was anything to go by. Nuno scooped up some of the porridge into a bowl before cutting up an apple into small bites and adding it in, before mixing together cinnamon with a bit of sugar and adding it on top. The sweet smell of the porridge, the freshly baked bread along with the cinnamon was most likely going to be reaching the blond at any time now if she was awake.

Removing the pot of tea off the stove, the blond picked up the bowl of porridge and made his way to the table once more. The boy only hoped he had picked everything he was using correctly this morning. The table cloth was a nice creamy yellow color he had found in the cupboards that were lined with white lace around the edges; a small vase placed in the center with a few lovely daffodils he had picked this morning, along with a few nicely picked lavender for a nice contrast with the yellow. Nuno really hoped he was not going to have to start cooking all over again, or go once again out for flowers.

Yawning loudly Rose gave the sun-lit window a rueful glare when she realized she could sleep no longer. Slipping her smooth slender legs from beneath the sheets and crawling her way out of bed. She staggered to her feet swaying a bit for a moment before regaining her balance. Rubbing her eyes sleepily as she glanced over towards her mirror stand which reflected a lewdly attractive woman. Her hair was frizzled and the look in her icy blue eyes were far from alluring but her rosy red lips were complimented nicely by her pale skin. The bright red negligee she’d worn to sleep last night left very little to the wandering imagination, the volume of her full sized breasts pressing out against the almost see-through fabric, further down her supple frame was a cute little belly button, surrounded on either side by curvaceous hips that gave her body the perfect hourglass look. Her most sacred regions were covered by a matching thin red thong, letting her rounded cheeks around the back stand out prominently, seducing anyone who was lucky enough to get a glimpse.

Rose had slept with her fair share of men. Even Yosef hadn’t been able to resist her seductively charming body, cheating on his beloved wife numerous times before ultimately being dragged away. The departure of her sextoy was hardly a setback though, and she’d been looking forward a fair bit to what sort of servant the village would send her… but unfortunately her expectations of getting a muscular woodcutter had been dashed with an almost feminine boy. His soft features and slim frame far from what Rose could considered attractive. Her first thought on Nuno had been that he’d have been better off being born a girl. But having been desperate to get someone to clean and cook for her, she’d reluctantly accepted Nuno into her house. Working him like a slave to get the house back to its formerly squeaky clean state.

Stretching her cramped up body as she made her way down the hallway and down the stairs, she smiled a bit when recognized the smell of food in the air. The thought of food appealed to her immensely, but such pleasant thoughts were short lived when she noticed the yellow table cloth and the daffodils that sat atop her dining table. Without even acknowledging Nuno’s hard work she swiftly made her way over and started picking out all the daffodils, tossing them onto the ground like unwanted weeds, had their not been any lavenders in the vase she would have angrily tossed the entire thing out the nearest window in frustration. It didn’t take her long to remove the infringing flowers, but Nuno’s pleasant arrangement had been completely ruined with only a few lonely lavender poking out sadly from a now oversized vase.

“Wrong, wrong, and wrong” she complained shaking her head and glaring at Nuno unhappily. “I wanted the soft pink cloth today, not this hideous yellow, and daffodils? What were you thinking?” she complained ignoring how she’d complained only yesterday about how she’d wanted a more colourful cloth to decorate the table than the snow white one Nuno had selected. “I hope you’ve prepared something nice for breakfast at least?” she pouted looking quite upset already. It was an improvement compared to yesterday when she’d ripped the cloth out from under the table and smashed the cups and plates, and ruined breakfast completely, but it wasn’t hard to figure why such a wealthy princess couldn’t afford to keep a few loyal servants around.

Even though the rabbit boy had been in the place for almost two weeks he was still not used to the way Rosemary came down in the mornings, her supposed nightgown really did not cover anything at all. Though when the golden locked girl made her way quickly to the table without even acknowledging his presence Nuno found himself closing his eyes, along with using his long ears to cover them and already flinching to the sound of shattering glass he was expecting. Though, when the blond heard none he opened one eye, one ear lifting up as he peered from behind it, seeing Rosemary tossing the daffodils to the floor as she picked them one by one out of the vase he had so carefully arranged to look perfect to please the girl. If Nuno did not have reasons as to why he couldn't just tell the girl he had quit and leave, he most likely would have done just that after the first week. Though from what the blond had seen, the girls tantrums seemed to become less and less with every day on the second week, even if it was just a little bit. Like for an example, the fact that she had not torn off the cloth off the table, sending everything to the floor. It had been the reason why Nuno had not dared to place the bowl of porridge on the table just yet, just holding the warm bowl in his palm.

"I'm sorry, I can change the cloth right away." Nuno spoke, lowering his head a bit as a soft bow. "As for breakfast, I made a new loaf of bread this morning and I thought you might like home made jam I made from the strawberries I picked from the garden a few days ago along with some nice cheese. Then, I also made you porridge with sliced up apple and cinnamon. Then I have a pot of Jasmine tea just ready to be poured when you are ready." The blond said with a nervous smile, not really wanting to start on the girls breakfast all over again. Just why couldn't the girl just write him a list of what she wanted each day before going to bed? Just why did she have to change her mind on a whim or when ever she got bored? It really was a bit too much to follow at times. Nuno carefully placed down the bowl of porridge before making his way to the cupboards with the table cloth, looking through for a moment before finding a nice soft shade of pink and pulling that out.

Folding the table cloth over his arm, the rabbit quickly began to take the plates and such he had already placed on the table before removing the 'ugly' yellow one he had already placed on there. Nuno placed the yellow cloth over his shoulder before neatly spreading the nice pink one across the table. It did not seem to take the boy long to set the table once again, folding the yellow cloth and putting it to the side before making his way back to get the bowl of porridge. Though, now the blond waited. He didn't want to be placing the bowl of the apple and cinnamon porridge down if the girl was not wanting to eat it.

Tapping her foot impatiently as she waited the few seconds it took for Nuno to change the table cloth to something that suited her mood better. In truth she was sort of hoping that Nuno would snap at her like all the other servants had, telling her how she was spoiled and selfish and needed to grow up. Rose was fully aware that she was selfish, but a beautiful woman like her deserved to be selfish didn’t they? Spoiled? That was a compliment to tell her she was of noble upbringing. And growing up? If growing up meant she had to put up with things she didn’t approve of, she’d much rather spend her entire life being an immature little brat. All Nuno needed to do was utter any of those three words and she’d send the little pretty boy packing, telling the supposed granny of the village how she’d been highly offended by some of the things Nuno had mouthed off to her about. Perhaps next time she’d get a real man instead of this useless little house trinket? A man that could not only serve her up a proper breakfast, but also entertain her physically in bed afterwards?

Listening to Nuno dribble on about what he’d prepared for breakfast, the look on Rose’s face became more and more unpleasant the more Nuno spoke until she finally slammed her hand on the table. Her eyes widening with a clear look of disgust when she saw the porridge, Nuno had screwed up and the boy would realize his error even before Rose spoke up. “Are you crazy?!?” she shouted angrily, backing away and looking at Nuno if he’d just presented her with a bowl of filth. "You can’t expect me to eat that, it looks like a pigs dinner” she screeched, gesturing Nuno to put it away with her hand. “Argh you’re so useless, if I die of starvation it’s all your fault, you hear? Then my father will make sure your silly little village is reduced to rubble” she exaggerated, waving her hands around madly to express just how upset she was.

“I’m not eating ‘that’ and I’m not in the mood for strawberry jam today…. Wildberry, yes I think that’s what I’d like…. I want you to go get me some wild-berry jam for my breakfast, until you do I’m not going to put a single crumb in my mouth” she pouted, spinning on her heel and storming back up the stairs without another word. The fortunate part of Rose’s demands were that wild-berries were currently in season. The unfortunate part was that Rose had failed to hand him any money to buy the jam meaning he’d have to travel deep into the woods and pick them fresh himself…. Knowing Rose that was probably intentional. She clearly seemed to go out of her way to make the poor boy’s life a living hell so something like this wasn’t only uncommon, it was something to be expected.

The slamming of Rose’s bedroom door echoed loud and clearly her footsteps thumping loudly on the wooden floorboards before she threw herself onto her own bed again. The springs squeaking in protest a few times before everything fell silent again.

And as Nuno somehow had feared, the breakfast he had prepared did not please the young lady at all and that was for sure. The unpleasant look on Rose's face, along with her slamming her hands on the table was enough to tell him that his choice of breakfast this morning had been a horrible choice. Swallowing his tongue, Nuno kept all of the words he wanted to say at bay as Rosemary continued to rant on and on about how disgusting his meal was. The boy felt himself sink a bit into himself, if there had been anything he had taken pride in it was his cooking skills; sure he perhaps was not able to make the most fancy meals but they tasted and looked pretty good non the less and the girl he was now working on just not only was acting like a spoiled brat, but just put down on the one thing he was actually pretty proud off. Not saying a word back, Nuno tucked at one of his ears a bit, his fingers fiddling nervously at it as the girl stormed off, and soon he found himself placing his hands over his sensitive ears when she slammed the door.

"But?" The green eyes blinked as he looked after to where the girl had gone after demanding wild berry jam. Just how was he supposed to get some wild berries when he had no money? - Don't do anything to distress Lady Rosemary Del Ridenhart.- Granny's words repeated as he looked out the large window at the woods. Sure, he would be able to find some there but Roses's childish demand was something that was already going to take a while to make, let alone travel into the woods for the berries. Swallowing for a moment, Nuno found himself tucking at his ear for a moment before quickly cleaning up the small mess in the kitchen, not of course wanting to leave it like the way it was just to get more complaints when he would be coming back. The green eyes looked to the loaf of bread he had made before looking at the basket, Nuno spread some of the strawberry jam he had made on the few slices he had already cut so at least he wouldn't be starving on the way. Packing the few slices of bread, the blond looked to the porridge he had placed in a bowl before finding a small container for it, scooping the content of it into the container before preparing himself a good amount of water for the trip as well. If the girl was going to be ungrateful for what he had prepared then he was going to eat it himself. Besides, the girl had managed on her own before he came to work for her anyways.

Nuno finished getting himself ready before looking up at the stairs once more, by the sounds of it, Rose had absolutely no intentions of of giving him any money for the berries. It was becoming pretty clear that sending the little rabbit off into the woods was her punishment for the 'horrible' breakfast he had prepared for her. Placing the wooden pick nick basket on his arm, Nuno tucked at his ear nervously once more with his free arm as he made his way out the door. Never once had he gone into the woods then just the outskirts of it and the blond knew well the berries the girl wanted was much much deeper in then he had ever dared to venture before.

Taking a deep breath, Nuno made his way from the house and towards the woods, holding onto the basket as well with his other hand at this point. Hesitantly the boy took a step between the trees, slowly but surely making his way further and further into the woods though when nothing had sprung forth from the start he felt himself relaxing a bit by bit but his ears were raised high, listening to every sound. Nuno was at least not going to let himself get caught off guard, after all, the blond had heard plenty of stories from the hunters that had stayed at Granny's inn.

The sound of forest animals caused the ear of a certain wolf to twitch, sleepy eyes slowly cracking open and staring at the bright blue sky and the spots of white fluffy clouds that floated slowly by. The wolf hadn’t eaten anything for an entire day now, and when his stomach growled in protest at the lack of food, the wolf growled right back at it. Wishing that the hunger would just shut up and leave him alone. Unfortunately the hunger had rapidly crept it’s way into his mind, and he couldn’t help but see the clouds floating him above him as anything other than a flock of woolly sheep waiting for him to come snap them up. There were of course no sheep roaming around in the forest, but the wolf did know of a small human settlement not too far from where he was that had a pen full of the juicy sirloins. Unfortunately for him they already belonged to a group of humans who would relish the thought of sinking their little lead bullets inside his skull. The thought alone was enough to cause his leg to suddenly throb unhappily as it reminded him of the dull aching pain, an all too clear reminder of the events which had unfolded only a single day prior.

The wolf had been minding his own business, wandering the forest when he’d managed to set his eyes on a plump white rabbit, the creature clearly clueless as to its imminent capture. The wolf had only been an inch, no half an inch from grasping the little rabbit when a loud piercing bang suddenly shattered the serenity of the forest. The intrusive sound causing the birds to flap away to safety while those without wings scuttled into a shaded shelter. Nervous eyes fearfully gazing around in search of the source. The rabbit of course was no exception this, and just as the wolf’s hand brushed against the fluffy white fur the rabbit sprang out of his grasp. It’s red eyes not even bothering to look back as it bounded off into the woods. Knowing full well that it had narrowly escaped becoming the wolf’s meal. The wolf however had just lost his meal, and the bitter surge of anger that swelled in his stomach was a mixture of fury and unsated hunger that felt cheated of what had been rightfully his. It’d been so impossibly long since he’d had meat, he genuinely believed today to be his lucky day. But nothing could have been further from the truth. It wasn’t until the small lead pellet whizzed through the air and grazed against his bushy brown hair that he spun around to face his attacker alarmed. The silhouette of a unfamiliar man pointing the tip of a cylindrical barrel informing the wolf with more knowledge than he cared to know. The enigmatic attacker had pursued him for nearly an hour through the woods. Stalking the wolf skilfully for much of the hour before finally losing the wolf’s trail. The wolf however hadn’t managed to escape unscathed, the scrape of a stray bullet searing his flesh at it grinded off the outer layer of skin and caused him to bleed a fair amount. It wasn’t life threatening, but it still hurt like hell. And had the hunter not given up his search, the wolf most certainly had lost his life.

Hearing his stomach give out another frustrated growl the wolf decided he had no choice but to comply with his bodies demands, pondering for a moment before deciding that he’d go for a few berries today. Unlike the pen of sheep outside the woods the forest of green tree’s belonged to him, and it’d been so long since a trespasser had made itself known to him, the wolf really wasn’t expecting to come across anyone. Arriving in a clearing where the wild-berries were growing in abundance he rolled himself onto the ground, stretching out his hand and picking a small cluster of berries before popping them in his mouth. Wincing a bit when the bitter taste of unripe berries made him want to spit them right back out again.

Despite the bitter taste he still ended up swallowing, smirking down at his exposed stomach triumphantly as if he’d won a small bet. The wolf being the uncivilized creature he was had no interest in human clothing. If anything he loathed the itchy fabric humans wore and could understand why anyone would want to endure such a prickly feeling all over their bodies. The simple brown loincloth the wolf had made for himself from discarded clothing was more than enough to keep himself covered. As much as the wolf enjoyed the brush of nature, even he had a sense of modesty to not walk indecently. Rolling his head to the side and blinking a few times. The wolf’s green eyes suddenly lit up at the sight of a plump white rabbit. Quite possibly the same one as yesterday. Once again it seemed to be complete oblivious to the wolf’s presence, the cute white tail shaking from side to side as the rabbit eagerly munched away at a luscious blade of grass. Being confronted with the possibility of a proper meal the wolf controlled his breathing and concealed his existence dragging his foot a bit as he crawled excitedly but silently through the bushes.

"Stupid... Ungrateful..." Nuno mumbled to himself as he hopped his way through the woods. "If I die of starvation it’s all your fault, you hear? Then my father will make sure your silly little village is reduced to rubble” Nuno waved his arm around, trying his best Rosemary expression while he walked while repeating her words, clearly feeling more then just a bit frustrated with the little princess. Or, that he dared to voice it out now that he was actually pretty far into the woods and there was not anyone who could repeat his words. The bunny boy kicked an acorn off, sending a few little birds fluttering off once the acorn landed on the ground once more, which at the same time got the blond to jump slightly in surprise. The boy couldn't believe he was getting so frustrated just because of how one person acted. But then again, Nuno had been putting up with it for almost two weeks now. Unlike the other men who Rosemary had charmed their way into her bed, the bunny boy had nothing to get any tension and frustration out, other then now and kicking and acorn seemed not really the best thing to do.

Ruffling his hair, Nuno let out a sigh as he continued his walk, though soon the green eyes could not help but to blink as they peered between a few trees. Wild berries! Nuno's mind instantly could tell he had finally reached far enough into the woods to find a nice little field with plenty of berries. Looking over to each side, the blond carefully stepped out from between the trees and into the open area. So far so good; Nuno had not met one predatory animal so far and perhaps he would not meet one in the woods today. Carefully, Nuno skipped his way into the open fields that looked empty though the green eyes quickly looked in the direction of the new sound he heard. It did not take the blond long to see a white little fluffy bunny in a panic jumping away. Placing a hand to his chest, Nuno took a deep breath to calm himself before sitting himself down on the field, his fingers reaching out to start to pick some berries.

If the bunny boy had known that he had just frightened a rabbit a wolf had his eyes on, he would have never sat himself down on the fields. If anything, the blond would have made a run for it at the first chance he would have had but instead the boy just brushed a lock of hair from his eyes, humming to himself a song as he picked one berry at a time and placed it into the pic nick basket he had brought with him and placed down by his side. His ears were perhaps one thing that told instantly that the boy was not a human, though the blond was also clearly dressed from head to toe in the human attire. Black pants that fit his smaller frame perfectly, along with a nice white button up shirt and a vest. To top it off were the black shoes on his feet that had at least not been cheap, though they also were not overly rich. Granny had made sure Nuno had the perfect outfit to fit for lady Rosemary, to make sure nothing would throw her off or anger her when he had first came. Though, the boy clearly could tell that from the moment she laid eyes on him, she was not even close to being pleased with what she was saying. Just thinking about it got Nuno's ears to sag down his sides, no one had ever disliked him so much before he didn't know how to handle it. Stopping the humming, the blond let out a short sigh through his nose before popping the berry he held into his mouth, hoping the taste would get his mind off the girl.

Overconfident as always, the wolf took his sweet time closing in for the kill, grinning wolfishly as he silently closed the distance between the plump white hare and himself, he could almost taste the juicy tender meat of the rabbit, the thought making him salivate and move just a tad bit hastily. Going in for the kill, the wolf had once again been a rabbit hair away from wrapping his hands around his prize when the sound of a bumbling human scared the rabbit off once again. Barely managing to suppress an irritated howl, angry eyes flashed towards the intruder, he was fully aware that he wouldn’t be able to escape the hunter again if it was the same one from yesterday, and even if he could he had no intentions of leaving the human alone. Once was bad enough, but twice? In his own backyard? It was simply unacceptable, and while the wolf had cringed at the thought of devouring a stupid human, he was hungry enough to make an exception today. The unripe berry had left an unpleasant taste in his mouth and he really didn’t feel like trying another.

Lurking silently amongst the bushes, the wolf slowly circled around, his ears flickering slightly to the rather pleasant tune that drifted through the air. He hesitated a bit, chewing on his bottom lip as he thought things over. The girl…. Or rather feminine scented boy(?) wasn’t the hunter, and unlike the hunter the boy seemed to be more interested in picking berries than the wolf’s presence. But on the other hand the boy was equally guilty of depriving him of a nice juicy meal. And judging from the basket beside him the boy had clearly come to steal away a basket-full of his berries!... Well technically they weren’t his, but if the humans wouldn’t share with him what was outside the woods, why should he have to share what was inside? Creeping silently and positioning himself for a better look at the clueless bunny boy, the wolf was astonished by the sight of the twin ears that sat atop the boys head. Jade green eyes blinking twice before he shook his head to clear away the confusion. He’d never really met anyone like himself before. The wolf was fully aware that he wasn’t the same as the other wolves that lived in the woods, but he’d sooner take his own life than associate himself with the greedy selfish humans.

Frowning to himself, he figured it had to be some sort of trick. The boy was wearing human clothes so he couldn’t possibly be the same as the wolf… and those ears… even if they were real, the boy was clearly different from himself. Those were rabbit ears, meaning the boy was prey, someone who existed to be captured and eaten by the wolf…. But despite telling himself that he was entitled to snack on the boy, he couldn’t help but still feel a bit hesitant. Deciding that he could lunge at the boy after figuring out whether he was human or not, the wolf glanced around to make sure it wasn’t some sort of trap. Sighing quietly in relief once he’d made sure. The wolf reached over to the nearest bush and silently picked off one of the berries before slipping the tip of his thumb beneath pointer finger, placing the berry on top before flicking it up into the air, the berry cluster launching straight up into the air, travelling a short distance before miraculously plopping out of the sky and onto Nuno’s blond head. The wolf hadn’t intend to actually land the berry, it had been intended to drop a bit off to the boy’s left so that the sudden sound would cause those… delicious looking ears to at least flicker if they were real. Halting his breath and feeling his heart stop momentarily he swiftly lowered his head behind the bush. Hoping that the rabbit-like boy wasn’t as jumpy as his distant cousins.

Carefully picking only the berries that were actually ripe, Nuno went back to his humming. A tune he could not remember where he even learned, just something he had always remembered since he was a child. The blond had just come to the conclusion that it was perhaps something he had gotten from his parents, the time before he had been picked up by Granny and raised in the human world so to say. Nuno had always been the odd one out with those long fluffy ears that were on top of his head, standing out like a soar thumb where ever he went. So far he had not met anyone like him among the humans and there had been times Granny had to stop a few hunters and others to ether take him away or worse, take his life. Though, the bunny boy had been pretty oblivious to his difference to others until he was almost half way into his teens. When boys and girls were beginning to show one another interest in a different way then just to play a childish game or two; Nuno had always been the odd one out and only seeming to get more curious or rather off putting glances his way. Granny on the other hand, no matter how most feared her or how he at times feared her, was the only one who did not really treat him any different from the rest. Nuno was just Nuno, ears or not.

Stuck in his own little world, the rabbits ears flickered ever so slightly when the berry landed on top of his head, the green eyes blinking as they looked up towards the sky in confusion before he looked around himself. Curiosity and worry spread across the wide green eyes that darted from one place to another, wondering just where what ever it was that had landed on his head had come from. Nuno's hand reached up to his ear, tucking at it nervously; a horrible habit Granny always said. Perhaps the bunny boy did not really have much of a poker face, as easy to read as a book, a familiar voice told him.

"Anyone there?" Nuno found himself nervously asking, though no were loud enough for most to hear as he tucked at his ear once again though after a moment of silence it seemed the blond relaxed, coming to the conclusion that it had just been carried by the wind, as unlikely that was. Though, it seemed better then to worry about the possible danger for the time being since he needed to pick some more of those wild berries. So many berries needed to make a small jar of jam that is wasn't even funny. Slowly, but surely, the blond bunny boy went back to picking some more berries.

Despite having hidden himself away, the wolf’s green eyes hadn’t missed the slight flicker in the boy’s ears. His eyes widening in a mixture of disbelief and excitement, he’d seen his own ears twitch countless times when looking at his own reflection in puddles and streams, but it felt strange and excitingly new to see someone like himself. When the boy called out to him though the wolf remained deathly still crouched behind the bush with a mischievously sly smirk on his lips. He gave Nuno several minutes to himself, letting the boy’s rattled nerves settle down as he continued to hum and absent mindedly pick at the berries. It wasn’t until Nuno was nearly done that the wolf finally decided to make his move.

Silently he stalked closer, tiptoeing closer and closer, hiding behind bushes and sneaking into the shadows whenever he thought he might get noticed. The wolf was awfully good at sneaking up on people, and unless Nuno’s ears were far superior to that of a wild rabbit which had lived in an environment where it’s survival depended on their sense of hearing, the wolf would mainly go largely undetected.

Unfortunately luck had never in favour of the wolf, and as he closed the distance between them to under a few feet, his own feet accidentally stepped on a rather dry twig. Snapping it clean in half and making a sound that even a regular human might have noticed. As a surge of panic coursed up into the wolf’s mind, the wolf decided he wouldn’t be outmanoeuvred by a rabbit for a third time. Without thinking he lunged forward, not caring if he fell or missed his mark. He was desperate to get ahold of Nuno and not even the sharp pain in his calf was going to stop him.

Feeling his hands connect with the boy’s body, the wolf had no choice but to tackle Nuno to the ground, grabbing him around the waist and knocking the boy down onto the prickly green grass below. The wolf immediately repositioned himself, sitting on Nuno’s thighs, and pinning the boy arms down with both his hands as he closely inspected the boy. Still a bit sketpical, but more curious than ever. It wasn’t as pronounced as a normal rabbit, but there was definitely something about Nuno’s scent that made the wolf salivate. Licking his lips menacingly he stared down at Nuno with hungry eyes, grinning almost cruelly as he pondered how to end Nuno’s life. A snap of the neck seemed most merciful, but the wolf didn’t want to end things so quickly. He wasn’t interested in seeing others in pain, but killing Nuno so soon seemed like such a waste….

Keeping his hold on the boy firm and strong, there was just no way he’d let Nuno escape him. And for good measure he let out a commanding bark, growling so dangerously to remind Nuno that the wolf could kill him at any moment, and how struggling was futile.

Nuno popped the last berry into the basket, at leas the last one for now. By the looks of it, the bunny boy was getting pretty close to actually making perhaps even three jars of jam at this rate and if lucky enough, he could bring at least one jar back to the village, the blond was sure the kids at Granny's would love to have some wild berry jam. Smiling satisfied to himself, Nuno reached his hand into the basket, unaware of the wolf sneaking his way as he unfolded the cloth around the bread he had prepared himself, taking one slice of the bread he had spread a fair amount of strawberry jam on before he left. Licking his lips for a moment, the hunger after the walk to the woods, along with his morning work settling in as he parted his lips. Though, as the boy sank his teeth into the bread, his ears quickly raised as his body completely tensed up at the sound of the twig snapping in to. The bright green eyes turning to the direction of the sound only to see a figure coming his way. Before the blond had even any time to think what he could possibly do, he found himself getting knocked over, his fingers tightening the grip around the bread, sending strawberry jam to stain his palm and fingers. The green eyes stared up at the wolf in panic as a nice spread of strawberry jam went from the corner of his lips and up across his left cheek after being so horribly caught off guard.

Flinching as the wolf barked out and growled, Nuno tried his best to think of a way out of the situation he was in now, though with his body completely pinned down from the wolfs weight on his thighs and his arms being held down it did not seem like there was much he could do. The rabbit ears began to lower down the side of the boys head before they finally covered his eyes, the small frame trembling under the stranger.

"Please.. Please... Please don't eat me...." The rabbit mumbled out pleadingly. Under any other circumstances Nuno would have cleaned his cheek as quickly as he could, though the sticky jam against his cheek was something far from his worries right now. The fluffy ears moved as bright big green orbs looked up into the jade green before they moved to the ears that sat on top of the others head. If Nuno's eyes couldn't widen anymore it was probably now, a mixture of fear and curiosity clearly showing on the boys expression and eyes. The lips parted slightly, though when the rabbit felt his lower lip began to tremble along with his body he closed his lips once more, the ears covering his eyes once again. This wasn't fair at all, the first time he was meeting someone like him they were now sat on top of him, pinning him down and they did not seem to have the most innocent intentions in mind. Swallowing hard, Nuno tried his best to calm his trembling body and heavy beating heart, though nothing he did managed to calm his nerves.

"Please..." Nuno pleaded once more, though slightly louder and less mumbled then before, though his tone clearly conveyed the fear of his situation. At least on the bright side, if the rabbit was to die now he was not going to have to go back to the house, serving Rose's whim and call. But, he didn't want to die. "I don't want to die... I'll do anything...." Nuno pleaded, once more the ears moved, showing the two green orbs peering from beneath the fluffy years, though this time it seemed all curiosity had been replaced; the gaze pleading and terrified of the big bad wolf.

Thinking that Nuno would flop and flail like everything else the wolf had ever caught, the wolf was quite taken aback when the boy didn’t resist all that much. Granted he couldn’t really move all that much with the wolf pinning him down like this, but that hadn’t stopped anyone in the past... If anything the creatures seemed to be more difficult if they knew their lives would be ending no matter what they did. Unfortunately for them the wolf wasn’t exactly patient when it came to his prey being difficult and he’d ended up taking their lives pretty quickly. He’d been thinking he needed to do the same to Nuno, moreso than other creatures since the boy seemed to be partially human, and the last thing the wolf needed right now was for Nuno to run off and come back with a band on angry humans waving guns and pitchforks around as they scoured the forest for a lone single wolf.

Relieved at the fact that he wouldn’t need to kill Nuno immediately, the wolf decided to shift his attention to the boy’s ears. Lowering his nose down to the ears covering the frightened eyes, he sniffed a few times, rubbing his nose curiously against the lightly furred ears, sensing the warmth and life in them immediately he could instantly tell that they were much like his own, but his curiosity couldn’t be sated so easily and he continued to play with them a bit, moving a bit to the side and trying to lift up the ears with the tip of his nose. He hadn’t bothered to take too much notice of it earlier but Nuno did smell really good. Obviously the predator in the wolf was being tickled by the fact that Nuno was part rabbit, but from the boy’s clothes, hair and even skin the wolf could pick up a faint but distinguishable sweet savoury scent.

Noticing the strawberry jam smeared across Nuno’s cheek, the wolf cautiously lowered his lips, giving the dark red jam a careful lick before his eyes widened in shock. No wildberry had ever tasted that good, never. “Hold still” he commanded gruffly, removing one of his hands and cupping Nuno’s other cheek as he went in for a second taste. His fingers gently tilting Nuno’s face to the side as a rough damp tongue repeatedly brushed against the boy’s cheek, licking up the jam so thoroughly that not even the stickiness remained, slowly but surely he moved closer to Nuno’s lips, pausing for a bit when there wasn’t anything left for him to lap up. He blinked a few times curiously tilting his own head a bit as he stared at Nuno’s lips, sniffing them curiously and lowering his own lips, seemingly planning to invade Nuno’s mouth under the pretense that there was more jam inside. Just as their lips were about to meet though he stopped, freezing on the spot when he realized how close Nuno’s eyes were to his own. A faint shade of pink gradually started to spread across the wolf’s cheek as he realized how close their lips were. Licking was normal to him, but even the wolf knew the significance of a kiss, and his first kiss wasn’t something he was willing to throw away so easily even if the jam did taste amazingly good.

“You-you can plead all you want, I’m still going to eat you” he blurted out, quickly pulling his face away and looking off to the side, his face getting even redder as he became flustered. “I caught you, so you’re mine now. I’ll do whatever I please with…. No I don’t mean it like that, I mean I’m going to eat you. Yeah…. You made me lose my rabbit, so you’ll pay me with a rabbit of your own… it’s only fair… isn’t it?” he asked, feeling his face warm up, but not knowing Nuno could see the extent of the heat up. “I won’t kill you… I don’t think… he mumbled not sounding sure of himself at all, “I’m just going to take an arm… or two… I haven’t eaten in ages and if I don’t eat you I’ll starve” he grumbled, trying to validate his own actions. In truth he’d never eaten a human before, and didn’t even know where to start. Part of him was even hoping that Nuno would know better and tell him where to start, but obviously Nuno wasn’t experienced with getting eaten either and would have no idea either.

The rabbit did not dare to move even an inch when the wolf commanded him to stay still, though after having felt the careful lick across his cheek he was already with soft pink flushed cheeks, wondering just what the other was about to do. The green eyes widened when he felt his head tilted to the side and the rough tongue began to repeatedly brush against his cheek. Closing his eyes and swallowing hard for a moment, Nuno was not even sure if he actually hated or liked the feeling of the other licking the mess on his cheek and when the wolf stopped the green eyes opened curiously, only to see the wolf closing in on his lips. The rabbits cheeks almost instantly flushed a shade of strawberry red as the green eyes locked with one another, the rabbits cheeks finding their way to nibble at his lower lip almost like he was trying to prevent for what was possibly about to happen. Though it seemed the wolf was getting flustered as well for what it seemed like he was about to do, the green eyes catching a glimpse of the soft shade of pink before the other turned his gaze away.

Nuno listened carefully to what the other was saying, for a moment holding his breath when he heard the wolf say that now he belonged to him to do with as he pleased. Exhaling slowly, when the wolf explained it wasn't like that the boy felt himself relax for a moment only to hear it being mentioned he was going to be eaten. Swallowing hard once more, the blond had to admit that the mental image of having his arm or leg eaten was not all that pleasant, not at all and yet again he was being blamed for someone else starving. Today sucked; first Rosemary had to have a fit that things weren't done to her liking without even actually stating what she wanted and then sending the rabbit on a trip for some wild berries, and the cherry to this turds sundae was that now he was being told he was being eaten cause they were starving... Just great...

Had the wolf perhaps been just having a taste when he had licked his cheek? Perhaps telling the wolf he was not going to taste like strawberry jam could be a strong point right now. Strawberry jam, Nuno blinked his eyes, bringing his hand a bit closer before offering out the bread he had in his hand. "I have bread... You can eat that... You don't have to starve.... Please... You can eat it, just don't eat me." The rabbit pleaded as the fingers loosened around the bread he had tightened his grip around, the strawberry jam mostly on the boys hand at this point then on the bread itself.

"I'm sorry..." Nuno blurted out when he actually saw the state of the bread he had held, pulling his hand to his chest, the fingers closing in around it once more. "There is more in the basket... Also some porridge... I'm sorry for offering something that looks so bad, I promise the food in the basket looks a lot better and I made the strawberry jam myself and the bread, and the porridge. So it's actually not that bad, but please... You can have that, I really don't want to be eaten." The boy just blurted out everything that sprung forth in his mind, hoping, just hoping his cooking could satisfy the wolfs hunger.

Tilting his head further when Nuno presented him with a word he didn’t quite recognize, it took the wolf a few moments before he realized that ‘bread’ supposedly referred to the strange looking object Nuno was offering towards him. The offering didn’t really appeal to him at all seeing as how ‘bread’ looked as if it were a fluffy slab of rock, but the scent of the sweet strawberry jam was enough to catch his attention. Slowly he let go of the boy’s cheek and shoulder. Redirecting both his hands to hold onto the outstretched arm that was offering him something to eat. Diving between Nuno’s lips was a bit much for him, but a bit of finger licking was nothing compared to what he’d done moment earlier right?

Suddenly feeling way more self-conscious than he should have, he shook his head slightly in hopes that it’d cool down his overheating mind. He wasn’t used to this, he wasn’t used to contact with anything which wouldn’t flee from him on sight. And while Nuno probably wanted to do just that, the boy’s ability to talk and negotiate with him was something a typical forest animal couldn’t do for him. Sniffing the bread and giving it a careful lick, the wolf glanced uncertainly down at Nuno for a moment, not really knowing if he should take a bite or keep licking at the strange flavour.

“I can eat this then? I don’t want something else” the wolf stated, moving in to take a bite of the slice of bread Nuno had crumpled up, the wolf had never cared much for presentation. In fact he’d never even considered the possibility of making food visually appealing since food was food, and it was all the same once it was comfortably sitting in his belly. Being careful not to sink his teeth into Nuno’s trembling fingers, the wolf carefully ripped a piece of the bread off with his teeth. Pulling away and giving Nuno a glimpse of him with the bread between his teeth to ask him if he was doing things right before taking it into his mouth and giving it a few thoughtful chews. The texture was strange, and the thought of putting something so strange and foreign in his mouth made him uneasy, but as the delicious flavour of jam and bread spread across his tongue his scepticism cleared away instantly, a look of overjoyed excitement filling his green eyes as he moved in for another bite, this time taking a much larger portion, it took only a few second before the wolf finished off the slice of bread. But instead of pulling away or turning his attention back to Nuno to demand more, the wolf pressed his lips to the boys hand, lapping at the smeared jam on Nuno’s palm and fingers, his rough leathery tongue slipping and sliding between his digits and he tried to lap away at every last bit.

When he was done licking he placed Nuno’s finger in his mouth, at first seeming as if he’d bit Nuno’s finger off, but instead sucking lightly and lapping the tip with his tongue. He could feel the warmth of his cheeks spreading rapidly around to the rest of his body, but he didn’t really notice nor care, too absorbed in eating up the delicious jam to bother with anything else. When he was finally done he moved to the next finger, glancing down at Nuno thoughtfully, the menacing intimidation significantly weakening as the wolf gradually pushed aside the thought of eating Nuno. Perhaps the boy had… other uses?

The green eyes blinked in surprise when he saw the wolf lean down to sniff the crumbled up bread he had in his hand, the fingers loosening up around it automatically to allow the other to do so. Though, what surprised the rabbit was when the wolf asked if he could eat it, stating he wanted nothing else. Nodding his head, Nuno wondered how the other could want something that had been crumbled up so messily in his hand but he wasn't going to argue if it perhaps sedated the others hunger enough to spare his life. Letting out a slight meep of a sound, Nuno kept himself perfectly still as the other started eating out of his hand, his cheeks going slightly flushed a rosy pink. Though, as the wolf had taken his first bite and moved in for a larger one with those jade green eyes filled with excitement, Nuno could not help but to find the wolf rather cute. Yeah, the word cute actually seemed rather fitting for the other, the boy finding himself to relax his fingers just ever so slightly more time passed; the trembling sedating just a bit.

Just when Nuno thought it couldn't get anymore weird he felt the lips and tongue against his hand when the bread had all been eaten up, a mewl of a sound escaping his throat when he felt the tongue sliding between his digits. Trying to keep his hand as still as he possibly could, Nuno bit down on his lower lip as he tried not to make a sound as well, though it was a bit hard. Never having experienced having his hand licked before, the blond never knew just how oddly ticklish it could be, the tip of his fingers twitching ever so slightly every now and then as more sounds formed in the back of the boy's throat. Nuno felt his eye lids flicker for a moment before closing one eye while the other tried to continue watching the wolf that licked and held his hand in place.

The blond was beginning to feel rather embarrassed to say the least by his own reaction of having his hand licked, but then again, it was not his fault that it ticked so much, was it? At least Nuno didn't believe so, anyone would most likely react this way, fidgeting, fingers twitching and sounds forming at the back of his throat somehow sounding slightly like mewled out moans as he tried to hold back his slight little giggle every time the tongue reached to a ticklish spot. Letting out a slightly relieved sigh when he felt the tongue stop, both green eyes opened as the boy looked up at the wolf with more then just flushed cheeks from holding back his laugh before going completely red across when he saw the wolf 'swallow' his finger whole. Moving his free hand over his mouth, Nuno bit down at the back of his hand as his fluffy ears lowered and covered his eyes once more as the squeezed shut. The rabbit had not even once in his life been shown attention like this and from what he had seen and heard this was pretty close to what others usually did in the privacy of a bedroom with someone they liked. Nuno didn't even know the others name and the last time he heard, the other had planned on eating him.

Completely absorbed in what he was doing, the wolf was extremely thorough as he licked away every last bit of the delicious jam that covered Nuno’s fingers. There no dismissing the fact that it felt odd, but strangely enough he found himself not minding too much… or at least not until his managed to pick up the first mewl like moan that came from below him. His entire body tensing as he eyes darted around to make sure no one was listening. Glaring unhappily down at Nuno was perhaps the worst thing he could do as his eyes were met by the young blond bunny boy gazing up at his with one embarrassed eye. The wolf immediately released Nuno’s finger from between his lips, his tongue still poking out slightly from his wide open mouth as he looked from to the hand, to Nuno, and then back.

All of a sudden he became conscious of how his body had gotten really hot over the short span of time, the all too familiar heat focusing around his midriff area reminding him how painfully unpleasant things got when he got all hot and bothered like this. There was nothing he could except wait it out, as he’d never been fortunate enough to find a mate. In his desperation he’d even approached one of the female wolves that roamed the forest, but had swiftly been declined. The she-wolf clearly not interested in a wolf that looked so hideously unnatural. Whenever this happened the wolf could only curl up into himself, whimpering and hoping pathetically that it’d over come soon. No matter how many times he growled and barked the pain simply wouldn’t go away.

His attempt to growl angrily at Nuno failed miserably, the weak rumbling sound not sounding scary at all. He continued to suck on Nuno’s fingers for a bit longer before he felt himself starting to grow hard, his eyes widening in shock and denial. He definitely didn’t want to experience the pain of sexual frustration again, especially when he was all alone out in the woods. If Nuno had been a girl then he probably would have ravaged him, but the sweet scent, as delicious as it was was definitely that of another male, and no matter how attractive Nuno might be, a male couldn’t do anything for him sexually as far as he knew.

“Please… stop.” The wolf murmured, letting Nuno’s hand go and lowering himself back to the boy’s face, letting his rough tongue press gently against the boys cheek once more. “Stop making those sounds, I won’t eat you…. So please?” he repeated, his voice almost pleading. The wolf wasn’t a masochist, he didn’t like being in pain. If Nuno was responsible for causing him pain he’d lash out and strike down the boy in a second, but the wolf fully knew that the slightly erect hardness beneath his loincloth was an issue with his own body. “I won’t eat you, I’ll let you go… I promise, I’m not even hungry anymore” the wolf lied, only to have his stomach growl hungrily out to him in protest. Biting his lip and shifting his eyes away, he hoped Nuno hadn’t heard that, but the sound had been so loud that there was just no way he could of missed that. Highly embarrassed, and feeling quite hot, the wolf slowly returned his gaze to Nuno, uneasy eyes flickering once as they hovered mere inches above Nuno’s face. Thinking that the arm over Nuno’s face was a sign of refusal, the wolf used his own hand to pull the arm away. Peering into Nuno’s eyes and feeling his heart skip a beat. He hadn’t noticed it early. But Nuno was cute, really cute. In fact, the boy looked so sexy beneath him that for a moment, the wolf actually managed to convince himself that if it was with Nuno, he wouldn’t mind sharing a kiss.

The feeling of the wet tongue brushing against his cheek, along with the wolfs words somehow seemed a whole lot sweeter then what the wolf had been doing before. The pleading voice causing the rabbit just to stare up at the wolf with flushed cheeks as he remained quiet till he heard the wolfs stomach growl hungrily. "I.... I..." Nuno stuttered out low, unsure if he should say anything after the other had told him not to make anymore sounds, well, those sounds, but still. Taking a deep breath, the bright green eyes stared up into the jade green orbs that had gotten closer once more while Nuno just sort of hugged his arm close to his chest. This was the first time the boy actually had a chance to properly look at the wolf that was on top of him, the green eyes trailing from those canine ears, down a few locks of the brown hair before once again meeting with the wolfs eyes. The wolf was actually rather handsome and the rabbit was sure that if he actually would have lived in town, despite those ears, he would have been really popular with the lady's, perhaps even Rosemary. Despite the rough and scary personality, the expression the wolf carried right now was far from it. If anything, it was rather cute how the wolf had averted his gaze and bit his lower lip when his stomach had growled after saying something that was far from the truth.

"I have more bread in the basket... If you liked the bread, I'd be happy if you had some more. I made it this morning and I'm not going to be able eat all of it myself... If, if you didn't like the bread there is also some porridge in there I made." The rabbits lips parted slightly once he had finished speaking, taking a deep and a calming breath before exhaling through his nose. Things somehow seemed like it would be a bit easier to talk to the wolf now, though perhaps after the other said he would let him go and not eat him played a big part in that. Though what was beginning to confuse the blond a bit was exactly that; him relaxing after being told that. Just why was he not trying to make a run for it with the first chance he could take? Not like he could now, even though his hands were now released the wolf still had his weight pinning his legs down so it was not like he was just going to get up and walk away. Though, if Nuno could, he was not exactly sure if he would. Curiosity spread across the green orbs once more as they looked up to the others ears, his fingers wanting to so badly just to reach out and touch them.

Which is what they seemed to be going for before the rabbit managed to catch himself, his hand raised and his fingertips just a millimeter away from touching the wolf's cheek before he found himself blushing like mad and just freezing up. Just what was he going to do? The boy asked himself as he nibbled on his lower lip, not seeming to get himself to avert his gaze from the wolf. "I.. Uhm.. Sorry..." The blond mumbled as he began to lower his hand slowly. "I just... I have never seen anyone with ears like mine before... I'm sorry, I just wanted to try to touch them and see if they were real. I wasn't of course going to pull!" Nuno spoke, actually a lot faster then before, almost like the thoughts he had just came out before being filtered or thought over. "Pulling them would hurt if they were real, I know... It really hurts when someone pulls on your ears. I just wanted to touch them just a little bit.. I'm sorry, I'll stop talking now..."

The wolf was relieved when the strange noises stop coming from Nuno, but the heat in his body showed no signs of going away, on the contrary his heart seemed to get all warm and fuzzy as he nuzzled Nuno’s cheek in a display of appreciation. The wolf really didn’t want to let Nuno go, but he doubted the bunny boy would stick around if he were given the chance to flee. In truth he was sort of hoping Nuno would someone conjure up another one of those things he called ‘bread.’ But expecting two free meals from one rabbit was a bit much to ask, and despite Nuno saying he had more, the wolf really doubted that Nuno would be willing to share another one of his delicious breads.

Apparently he was wrong though, and the moment Nuno repeated that he had more and wouldn’t mind sharing. Excitement lit up in the wolf’s eyes. His tail swishing almost childishly behind him as he looked from Nuno to the basket. Considering how the wolf didn’t know what bread was, there was no way he’d recognize the word porridge, but if Nuno was suggesting it, it couldn’t taste too bad right? His attention though would be focused more on the idea of having another taste of that sweet savoury jam. His mouth salivating at the mere though of having another taste. It’d only been a few seconds ago that he’d wolf down the first one, and already he was starting to miss the taste.

“You sure? You’d be willing to share?” the wolf asked sounding a bit unsure. From his experiences humans didn’t like sharing with him, and while Nuno wasn’t quite human, the wolf could pick up the scent of at least one definite human from the boy’s clothes. “You won’t starve if I have one more?” his excitement turning to worry. Nuno was already such a small frail looking thing, the thought of eating up the boy’s meal and letting him wander off only to die of starvation wasn’t something the wolf was willing to allow. If Nuno was going to die, it was much nicer for the wolf to finish him off now, and appreciatively devour the boy.
“Bread… your bread tastes really sweet, I didn’t think there was anything that tasted better meat in this world… where’d you find it? Is it hard to get?” the wolf asked, thinking that Nuno meant that he’d grown it from a seed or picked it off a tree he was tending. The wolf knew the woods like the back of his hand, but he’d never seen bread on any of the tree’s and bushes, so maybe it was some sort of human plant? Or a type of meat that was really rare.

Seeing Nuno reach out to him the wolf shook his head when the boy said he wanted to touch his ears. The wolf getting even more flushed and embarrassed than he had so far. He quickly hopped off Nuno and covered both his ears with his hand protectively shaking his head frantically. Letting someone touch his ears was a really intimate thing for the wolf, and while he did like Nuno, he didn’t quite like him enough to let the boy touch his most sensitive body part. “I know you won’t pull, but no… my ears” he mumbled warily, keeping a good distance between himself and Nuno, his eyes flickering between Nuno’s hands and the boy’s eyes. “I’d like more of your bread, but not my ears, not even for two” he mumbled, thinking that there was only one or two slices of bread in the basket. Porridge was still a mystery to him, but he wasn’t going to consider that food until he’d gotten a least a taste of it.

The rabbit had decided, if the wolf wasn't going to eat him, then he would stay just a bit longer before hopping off back home. Even more so when the wolf covered his ears and shook his head. That was just too cute! Nuno blinked his eyes a bit, lowering his hand as a smile spread across his lips; an expression that suited him much better then the absolutely terrified one. Nodding his head slowly, the rabbit moved both hands to his chest for the wolf to see where they were. "I have more bread, I'll not starve if you have more. If anything, we could eat together." The smile widened a bit, sharing a meal with someone was something Nuno enjoyed very much; there was something about the company that felt nice even though it was something he didn't really do much anymore. As a kid, the breakfast table was always filled with kids of all ages and there was something strangely nostalgic thinking back to those times even though a time or two he would have most of his meal taken away by someone bigger then him. As hungry he had gone sometimes, the boy couldn't help but to miss it at times, he also had some pretty good memories from that time.

"And I made the bread myself, bread doesn't grow on tree's nor come from the ground." The blond explained due to the wolfs previous question of where he found it, something that seemed to logical to the boy perhaps didn't for the other who had been raised completely in the woods it seemed. "The bread has all sorts of ingredients, baked in an oven before having something spread across it. Cheese, butter, and all sorts of other things. This time I went with Strawberry jam... The sweet stuff you... ehm...." Nuno fiddled his fingers together, feeling himself blush slightly as he hooked his fingers a bit and pulling at them, his gaze lowering a bit as he bit his lower lip. "The sweet stuff you..." The cheeks went a bit brighter. "The sweet stuff you licked off my cheek and fingers..." Nuno mumbled as he finally managed to finish what he was trying to say and it was rather clear that he was feeling more then just a little bit embarrassed about what the wolf had done, though the rabbit didn't seem angry at all. The bright green eyes looked up once more, still the fingers fiddled, tucked and pulled one another as the boy bit his lower lip a bit before the hands tucked at both of his ears nervously.

"So... Uhmmm... Well, we don't have to eat together if you don't want to, but I'm still more then willing to share the food I have, I most likely brought too much with me to eat all by myself." Nuno spoke as he stood up, the smile slowly returning though the cheeks still stayed a bit flushed with a nice shade or a rosy red. Though, it seemed that the boy once again started to nibble at his lower lip, his body once again starting to fidget. This time though, it was not fear. The moving perhaps all to familiar to a child needed to to pee, though too worried to speak up about it. Tucking at his ear, Nuno tried his best to awkwardly bring his legs together as the green eyes closed. "But first.. I really, really, really have to pee... " Nuno mumbled really, really low. How embarrassing, though the boy just looked at the wolf with big green eyes before looking around himself, a bit hoping the wolf would tell him where would be the best place to go.

Keeping his wary eyes on Nuno for a bit longer, the wolf wasn’t sure if the blond boy had completely given up on the idea of touching his ears. Knowing just how sensitive he was behind the ears the wolf wasn’t about to leave himself completely open and vulnerable even if Nuno did seem pretty harmless. As much as he wanted to believe that Nuno had no ill intentions against him, the wolf couldn’t quite bring himself to be at ease with someone who seemed to deeply entrenched in human culture. While the wolf had never been explicitly told to avoid human contact, but his first encounter with a human had nearly been his last, and every consecutive encounter after that hadn’t been much better. Frolicking in the woods by himself and catching his own meals had always just been more safer and easier way to get his meals.

“Then where does it-?” he started, only to quickly shut his mouth when he realized Nuno was going to go to the trouble of explaining things to him. He didn’t quite know what an oven was, and the other ingredients Nuno listed off were just as alien to him as the thought of mixing two ingredients to create something new. But he simply nodded his head, figuring that Nuno was probably just some sort of powerful sorcerer who could turn water into wine. One thing he did take note of though was the name of the dark red jelly that had been spread across the fluffy rocks. As much as the wolf enjoyed the fluffy rocks, the jelly- no, strawberry jam tasted far better and sweeter than any fruit or berry the wolf had come across, and frankly the mere thought of getting another taste was make him shuffle his fidget excitedly.

Nodding his head to show that he understood, the wolf leaned over and gave Nuno’s cheek a quick appreciative lick, thanking the other in the only way he knew how. He didn’t quite understand why Nuno was getting all flustered by such a simple ‘thank you’ but the boy didn’t seem to mind it all that much, and the wolf sort of liked the way the boy tasted. Jam or without jam Nuno’s skin was more tender than any meat he’d chewed on, and smoother than any pebble the wolf had come across. The softness was nothing like the toughness of his own skin, and the faint scent of cinnamon and fruit that lingered around the boy made him seem all the more appetizing.

It was actually hard to decide whether he wanted the strawberry jam or Nuno more, but since Nuno didn’t seem to be too fond of the idea of being eaten, the wolf figured it couldn’t hurt to do things his way. Or at least that’s what the wolf had been thinking right up until the point Nuno mentioned how he’d have to leave. The wolf had taken note of how Nuno seemed uncomfortable, but he’d only seen Nuno being uneasy when around him so it wasn’t like he could distinguish between one and the other. “That’s okay, I can wait” the wolf stated almost proudly. The wolf knew there was nothing one could do to deny nature’s calling, and hence he wasn’t going to stop Nuno.

Smiling innocently and slinging his arm over Nuno’s shoulder’s the wolf leaned his weight on the bunny boy a bit bringing himself down to Nuno’s height before peering over at the boy’s flushed cheeks and bright green eyes. Cluelessly smiling, after a few moments of awkward silence it was pretty clear that the wolf had no intentions of letting go. The wolf waited a few more seconds before his stomach once again disrupted the silent clearing. His tongue moistening his lips as Nuno’s scent continued to tempt him to take a bite. Getting impatient, the wolf hesitated before offering a friendly smile. “Here, I’ll help” he stated, not even bother to wait for an answer before he slid his fingers around Nuno’s waist and slipped his fingers over the top of Nuno’s pants.

Nuno just couldn't understand how the wolf could so easily lick someone without even feeling the slightly bit embarrassed about it. Though, the boy tried his best to take into consideration that the wolf did not have the same upbringing as him, after all no one showed that much skin in town. Well, not counting the few women who worked the night, as Granny liked to call it, but even then they were a bit more covered then the wolf. Rosemary would most likely have tried to seduce the man in a heart beat, after all, the wolf was actually very handsome and if Nuno was going to put a word to it, he would most likely use the word sexy. Blinking his eyes, the rabbit shook the thoughts away he was having off the wolf, this really was not the time, place or even the right person to be having such thoughts. Even more so, he was really, really needing to go. The boy looked at the wolf who slung an arm over his shoulder, just staring blankly at the other. Was he actually expecting him to answer natures call with him hanging over his shoulder? Though what the wolf did a few moments later sent a bright red flush across Nuno's cheeks and the eyes to widen.

"I don't need help!" Nuno exclaimed, slapping the hands away before taking a step back away from the wolf. This was a bit too much for the rabbit to take, he had somehow managed to stuck through with having his hand licked without saying a word, but having someone 'help' him pee just wasn't right. "I'm sorry... I'll be right back..." Taking a few steps back, the green eyes looked around themselves before looking over to the bushes near by. That seemed like as good as place as any.

"I'll be right back.." Nuno repeated as he looked back to the wolf before running off towards the bushes, or well, it looked more like he was skipping across the field and rather quickly too. It seemed, even though the blond had been raised in a more human environment he still had plenty of traits on how he moved that were more like a rabbit. Slipping in between the bushes, bright green eyes darting left to right before Nuno gave himself a nod that the place was safe enough to answer to natures call. Zipping the pants down, Nuno felt himself let out a long, drawn out relieved sigh when he felt his bladder being emptied into the grass. The boy did his business before zipping up the pants again, looking at the leaves for a moment and then to his hands before just rubbing his hands over them a bit till at least he felt like he was closer to having clean hands.

Skipping over the field, Nuno made his way back to the wolf and the basket he had brought with him before sitting himself down, patting down a spot next to himself as he looked to the wolf. "Sit, let's eat." The blond said with a smile before reaching into the basket for more of the bread, along with the container of porridge he had brought along with him. "I'm sorry if it doesn't look good, but I promise it tastes pretty good." Nuno spoke as he popped open the lid, the smell of apples and cinnamon that came from the porridge might explain as to why the rabbit smelled the way he did.

Surprised and shocked were two ways to describe the wolf when he felt his hand being slapped away, and the warmth of the other’s body suddenly leaving his half-hearted embrace. Confusion was plastered all over his face as he looked down at his hand, and then up to Nuno , not quite knowing how to respond to such a hostile rejection. His first impulse was to lunge at the boy, but something told him that that’d only make things worse, so instead he just stood there, furry ears drooping and his bushy tail going limp as he looked from his hand to Nuno. Not understanding why the boy had gotten so angry all of a sudden. He’d only been trying to help, it wasn’t like he’d tried to eat the boy so why was he so mad.

Confused and disappointed, he stood still as Nuno disappeared into the woods, silently watching as the boy disappeared behind a sea of bark and leaves. He could hear Nuno’s voice repeatedly telling he’d return, but the second time the wolf heard Nuno call out to him the voice had travelled a fair distance and the wolf was convinced that Nuno’s call outs were only being made to make sure the wolf would intercept and prevent the boy’s escape. As much as the wolf wanted to give chase though, he decided against the idea, realizing how this was the way things were supposed to be. Nuno was a rabbit, and the natural thing for a rabbit to do when it crossed paths with a wolf was to flee for its life. In fact every single animal in the forest ran away the moment they sensed him. Not only was the wolf a natural predator to most of them, but he was also freakishly human looking in appearance, meaning there were two reasons as to why the wolf had been forced to spend his entire childhood alone and without companionship.

Waiting a few seconds and not hearing or sensing Nuno’s return the wolf made his way over to the discarded basket, placing a hand over the rim and intending to take a peek inside. Nuno probably wasn’t going to come back, so it really wouldn’t hurt anyone if the wolf kept the delicious strawberry jammed bread slice for himself, but the thought of eating someone else lunch just felt wrong. More importantly the wolf had lost his appetite after the shocking rejection, dark clouds hanging over his head as he looked over towards the direction Nuno had disappeared to only moments prior. As good as the jam smelled, the wolf decided to leave the basket where it was just in case Nuno did come back for it when the wolf had gone.

Sighing sadly to himself, the wolf picked himself up and dusted himself off. Telling himself that nothing had changed, and that he shouldn’t be disappointed or upset. He still didn’t know what he’d done wrong since the only thing he could think of was his refusal to let Nuno touch his ears. And even if Nuno was upset about that, the wolf wasn’t going to give in. His ears were precious, and strawberry jam and fluffy rocks as good as they may be were not sufficient to pay for them. Not even Nuno’s company for a few more minutes would be worth the humiliation and embarrassment of letting someone touch him in his ‘special spots’. His tail, hair, and ears were his own and the wolf took great pride in the fact that he maintained a glossy clean ‘coat.’

It had barely been a few seconds, but convinced that Nuno wasn’t coming back, the wolf decided to leave before temptation got the better of him and he emptied the basket of its contents. Maybe next time he’d fine a wolf like himself? Preferably a cute female wolf that would accept the idea of being his life long mate?... Maybe one day….

When Nuno did come back, the boy seemed completely oblivious to the fact that he was now alone in the clearing until the wolf failed to respond to him. Making him look quite silly as he invited his invisible friend to join him for lunch.

If the rabbit had known that him slapping the wolfs hands away earlier would have resulted that he would come back to an empty field, the boy would have done much more then just apologize. Nuno raised himself up, placing the container he had back into the basket only to find that the wolf had taken off with all of the bread he had packed. Frowning slightly, the ears flickering slightly irritated, the blond was not sure if he should be happy with the fact that the wolf had at least taken food for himself or rather hurt by the other for leaving him. Nuno had after all actually really looked forward to sharing a meal with someone, as well with someone who was similar to himself. Though, perhaps with him being a rabbit and not a wolf was actually barrier that was hard to pass much like those with pink round ears. Nuno felt his ears lower down the sides of his head as his gaze never left the almost empty basket. At least the wild berries were still there and he could eat the porridge on the way though hunger wasn't really on the rabbits mind at the moment.

Just when he had thought he could have made a possible friend, Nuno had to do something as stupid as the slap the guy. Then again, how they had come to talk to one another hadn't been a very friendly start, the wolf said he was going to eat him after all. But, the way the wolf had somehow seemed to ease up and loose the idea of eating the boy, he had hoped they could perhaps become friends. Nuno tucked at his ear, just why had did having these rabbit ears have to complicate so much? Of course a wolf wouldn't want to play with a rabbit unless the rabbit was their meal. Sighing, the blond placed the basket onto his arm and slowly dragged his feet on the ground as the green eyed gaze looked around for a moment, perhaps hoping to see the shadow of the big bad wolf run between the trees, though soon enough the rabbit gave up on the idea of ever seeing the wolf again.

Brushing a lock of blond hair from his eyes, Nuno made his way out of the clearing and back between the trees, Rosemary was going to be wanting her wild berry jam soon and neglecting his job at this point was something Nuno just couldn't afford. Had he actually been willing to risk a very angry Granny if Rose had complained just to spend a moment eating with the wolf? Shaking his head, the blond told himself that even having have had such a silly idea had just been ridiculous. Perhaps it had been for the better that the wolf left.

Sighing, Nuno found himself kicking an acorn a bit further a head of himself into the woods, a bit confused by how childish he was actually acting right now. He didn't even know the wolf's name, so why was he feeling so upset that he had left? Kicking another acorn even further a head of himself, the rabbit stopped for a moment before looking around himself, trying to see if he could remember which way was the way he had come from again. This was his first time so deep in the woods after all, it wouldn't be surprising if the little thing would get lost.
