[Cheshire]Tool of Destruction[Snow]

His comment made her roll her eyes but she didn't give it much mind, the couch was comfortable and the apartment was warm and she hadn't gotten even a bit of sleep the night before. As the sun se3t she realized that she had almost been awake twenty four hours straight, never a good way to start an under cover mission, it was so easy to mess up when one wasn't well rested thought she doubted the vampire would care, all he seemed to care about was his precious missions. She hated the vampire. Leaning her head on the armrest of the couch and into her folded arms, pulling her legs up to be bent beside her, she decid3ed to just lay there for just a minute to try and clear her head to think about what she was doing. She must have drifted to sleep because when she woke up the vampire was across from her and the apartment smelled of blood.

She sat up quickly and first brought her hand to her neck. he quickly realized that wasn't her blood that she smelt and she noticed the wine bottle and had a sickening realization. The vampire bottled blood to drink. She shuttered and sat up, accepting the cup of tea and thanking him for it. She supposed it was better then attacking people at random but it was still disgusting. She sipped on her tea, wondering if he had realized that she had fallen asleep and praying that he hadn't otherwise she might not hear the end of it. She was happy that he had not felt the need to attack her while she had nodded off. It was likely the 'wine' that was keeping hm satisfied enough not to attack her. He seemed to think that she was delicious but if he bit her tonight then she wouldn't be able to do his work for him and that wouldn't suit his plans.

She sipped her tea, it was surprisingly good, when there was a knock on the door. When he brought back the envelope with the pictures her eyes widened. "Wait... you can't be serious." She said. She knew that vampires couldn't go into churches but was his target a priest. "Your target isn't a priest, tell me he isn't a priest. Who would want a priest dead enough to hire you to do the job?" Whoever hired him had cash. Vampires had useful qualities and if you sent a vampire after someone then they were sure to end up dead. With that kind of success rate he could demand any price, no doubt he was getting a fortune for this target. She thought for a moment about asking for a cut but she didn't want any of his blood money, she had her own ill gotten cash that didn't have blood on it. All she really wanted was to get away from this vampire with her life.

She was exhausted. That much he could tell. She had nodded off for a couple of moment but he wasn't too worried about her fatigue. He could always charm his way into a church....like he always did when he felt like just stepping inside one. His former family was very religious...it was hard for him to break the habit of visiting the holy church every now and again. No matter that it didn't feel so holy anymore once he had weaseled himself into it...tossing everyone weak to his charms into a world spiraling with forbidden passions... He smiled at he surprised comment on the priest. "Well my dear...I'm sorry to tell you...well not really but...anyhow...that snake in that picture is anything but holy. For his blasphemy toward the almighty God....I was chosen to give him a fitting death..." he says holding the picture of the priest up so he could further examine it. "He is a dog...a vermin below all vermin....the things he does underground is not something a priest would stoop so low to do, to keep an income." he says in a slightly annoyed tone of voice. With a sigh he tosses the picture onto the floor...staring at it with such fire burning in his eyes. If lasers could shoot out those golden orbs...

Reclining back on the couch once more he looks over to the exhausted shape shifter. "Go to sleep child...you are tired. I already told you my intentions...you are no good to me...in your current state...." he informs the girl as he removes himself from the couch. Grasping the partially empty bottle of whine into his hand he began to down as he traveled back into the kitchen. He would need another shipment soon... Tonight's payoff could buy him a farm of blood cattle...but he would just settle for a years supply. He needed to be conscious of how much he drank. Too much could drive him insane....it could turn him into a worse monster than he already was. He could never subject himself to becoming anything close to the werewolf. Dropping the bottle into the trashcan, he then begins on his way toward the back room where he needed to prep for the mission to come.

He left the girl upon the couch, trying to figure out how he would execute his mission without his trusted weapons. He had other ones...but he had been working with the ones she had tainted for quite a while...and anything else felt completely...foreign to him. In his room, he pulled a black case from his closet that contained similar weapons to the ones she had tainted. With a sigh...he started to full around with everything in the case trying to get accustomed to the way they felt... God knows he couldn't train a human girl in one night to fire a gun...and she would no doubt still be exhausted when he would come to wake her later....it was becoming quite clear to him that perhaps she would be better as a blood cow than anything else...at least then she would be able to prove her worth...because right now...she seemed like worthless baggage.

The girl listened to him carefully, for the most part she had to. She wnated to remember what he was saying about this man that she was going to have to help him kill and it helped that he was a bad man. That much was fortunate for her, at least she wouldn't be helping the vampire kill an innocent man. It was his comment about getting to sleep that startled her the most. For a second it seemed like he actually cared about her. Then, of course he told her she was useless to him like this. It almost made her want to stay up and just piss him off but she was too tired to do so. "I thought I said not to call me 'child,' I have a name." she said after she finished her tea. Even though she did have a name she refused to admit that the 'pet name' child was growing on it. She was young and it was sort of nice that someone remembered that.

The girl took her tea cup to the kitchen and washed it out by hand, after that she left it to dry and went to the wardrobe where she had checked the night she robed the place, she remembered seeing something that she wanted now. She smiled when she found it, it was a scarf, stripped black and white and very long. She remembered seeing it and deciding that she liked it but choosing not to take it. Clothing wasn't much good when she couldn't shift it, then it just left something to identify her by. She took the scarf and wrapped it around her neck so that she could sleep there without having to worry about him trying to attack her while she slept and also she wouldn't get cold.

Once she had on the scarf she smiled and went back over to the couch. "I didn't get to sleep last night. I couldn't knowing I would have to come here today but... it wasn't as bad as I feared." she admitted as she sat down on the couch and curled up there much like she had been before, this time putting her head on one arm and holding a pillow that had been on the couch to her stomach with the other. It seemed that the girl was the type that liked to hold something as they slept. "We can plan more tomorrow night..." She told him, drifting off rather quickly. She seemed to be about to say more but it wasn't likely to be important and in reality it wasn't. The girl drifted quickly off to sleep curled up on the coach with the pillow. A smile spread on her face as her whole body relaxed. Had he a heart he might think that she looked quite cute sleeping peacefully like that.

Elliot sighs softly as he begins to fiddle with pistol a bit. "This is going to suck. Probably going to be the first time I fail a mission..." he says with a laugh as he grabs a silencer from inside the case and screws it onto the pistol. Taking out the clip, he makes sure it is full then slips it back inside. He honestly didn't know why he wasted his time checking. He hadn't ever used it, of course the gun had ammo in it. With a shrug of his shoulders he placed the gun back in the case and then grabbed the dagger. Oh how it very much resembled the original. The curve of the handle between cold hands didn't feel so bad either. He wondered if it were as sharp. He smiles as he begins to drag the curve of the blade against his skin. Just the slightest of pressure was applied as he angled the blade downward and began to dig the blade into the palm of his hand. A pool of blood filled the center of his palm, the black blade becoming drenched in its master's dark rubies. "Ssss...aah~" he inhales, then exhales slowly the sight of his own blood....the feel...simply intoxicating.

Elliot drops the blade back inside of the case, to cup his other hand under the one that was bleeding. Gulping the warm liquid down, he then shuts the case with a refreshed 'aah.' Perhaps the night's assassination won't be so bad. With a shrug of his shoulders he stood to his feet, nudging the closed case off to the side before exiting the room. The vampire slipped into the nearby bathroom. Rinsing his hands clean of his blood, he then rinses his mouth clean. With a sigh, he then exits the bathroom and strolls into the living room. "Adorable..." he murmurs softly to himself as he gazes upon her sleeping form. She was really tired. He supposed he did shake her up quite a bit. He noted the scarf around her neck and chuckled softly to himself. He wondered if it were to keep him from drinking her blood, or to stay warm. He was never very conscious of how cool or hot it was in his apartment. The seasons really didn't affect him anymore, at times he would simply forget whether it was spring or fall. The only way he was able to know at times, were the clothes the humans dressed in that suited each season.

With a sigh he approaches the sleeping girl on his couch. Leaning forward, he begins to slips his hands under her body slowly and gently. Cradling her like a baby in his arms he begins on his way to his guest room. She was light as a feather. He nudged the door open with his foot and continued inside. He wondered how long she would sleep for. He did want to get a head start. Shaking his head he laid her to rest on the guest bed. Unfolding the covers at the end of the bed, he spreads it out over her. He watches her sleep....just the sight of her resting so peacefully made him yawn into his hands. He was felling a little drowsy himself...probably because of the stress he put upon his body...going outside in daylight and all. The effects never really hit him until he was in a relaxed state. With a shrug of his shoulders he stretches a bit before climbing under the covers next to her. He wraps an arm around her exhausted body in a way so that he was spooning her from behind. It was a comforting feeling... It had been a while since he had actually slept in a bed...and next to someone at that. He falls asleep rather quickly, with his hunger satiated, his sleep came to him a little quicker than he would have wanted.

Julia slept soundly on the couch, completely exhausted from having gone over twenty four hours without sleep so this nap was much needed. Usually she would have a certain level of alertness even in her sleep but after being awake for so long it was as if even that needed a nap so she had no idea what was happening and didn't even stir as the vampire approached her. She was just so tired and so comfortable where she was, the scarf was keeping her warm and she was sure it would keep him from trying anything while he rested. The apartment was a little bit chilly so it kept her warm and allowed her to sleep peacefully without a blanket. When he picked her up she stirred slightly but settled back into his arm, just barely nuzzling him as she did so, even the most cold heartened would have to say she looked adorable in her sleep.

After that she didn't shift too much, she lay still curled in his arms, a gentle smile on her face as pleasant dreams approached. Being a shape shifter meant that she was naturally lighter then most people but to the vampire even a body builder could be considered light though possibly a bit difficult to hold considering the bulk involved in it. When he placed her into the bed she made a small noise, almost like a contented squeak, truly she was adorable, at least while she was asleep and not yelling at him or stealing things. Everyone had a little bit of good in them. When he got into the bed close to her she shifted just slightly, pressing her back against his chest, being the vampire he was he would likely be able to feel or hear her heart beat. For he shifter it had been many years since she laid with someone as she slept, nearly too many to count but had she been awake she would have refused to admit that it was nice not to be sleeping alone. If only the morning where to be as nice as the night.

The shifter girl slept through the next day, waking up some time during or after sunset, she couldn't really tell and she wasn't really focused on what time it was because there was something else that had quickly caught her attention. The pair of arms around her waist. Near instantly her heart began to pound in her chest as she tri3ed to figure out what to do. The girl felt her cloths, finding that they were still in place and breathed a sigh of relief, at least the vampire was decent enough not to rape her in her sleep but what was he doing spooning her? Her heart was racing against her chest and likely against the vampire's because of how close they were. She needed to get away, to think small though in her half panicked state there was one thing she could think of that was small and fast. She tried her best not to move as she shrunk into a creamy colored rabbit, small enough to get through his arms and fast enough to flee once she had.
