Kensi felt nervous as Megan lead her through the dark streets that surrounded their college. It had been a surreal experience; running into her old childhood friend. They hadn't seen each other in five years and needless to say; certain aspects about each female had changed substantially. Once upon a time they were two small girls who couldn't be separated, so close that they considered each other sisters. However after being torn apart, they had clearly developed into two very different young women, almost unrecognizable from the children that they had once been. Kensi had become quite curvaceous and as a result was now lacking in confidence. She wasn't ugly; her eyes were a stunning golden hazel, which complimented the dark chestnut brown hair that flowed elegantly past her shoulders. Her lips were full and luscious and in the center of her face rested a cute button nose surrounded by freckles. Also; her skin had the added effect of a slight caramel tan, thanks to her Latin heritage. Standing at five foot seven, she was about average height and as a complete package was a pretty girl. However all of these qualities were almost invisible, hidden behind her weight. With her size considered disgusting by other students in high school, she had been bullied for being fat. Which meant that Kensi had arrived at college friendless, that was until Megan reentered her life.

Kensi had no idea that her old best friend was attending the same college as her. At first she had been glad to see the other female, but now she was beginning to question their unplanned reunion. Megan had grown into a slim, gorgeous, model type young woman. Her eyes green and piercing, her hair naturally permed and as black as the night sky. She was like the women you'd expect to see on magazines, sexy and desirable in every way, it made Kensi feel like crap. They were just so different from each other now, physically and personality wise. Would they even get along anymore? Did she really just want to spend her entire college days being overshadowed by her old best friend? Well she supposed it was better than being completely alone. That's exactly why they were out and about tonight. Megan had invited Kensi to meet her friends, something that made her feel a little sick to be honest. She wasn't great at meeting new people, but she couldn't be some antisocial weirdo throughout her entire college life now could she? So she had followed Megan out into the open air. Their intended destination was her boyfriend's house as that's where everyone was waiting for them.

It didn't take them long, about a twenty minute walk. During which Megan kept asking if Kensi would like to rest, almost as if she thought that her old friend couldn't handle the walk because she was unfit. Kensi kept declining and was a little annoyed that Megan just automatically assumed that she was unhealthy because of her size. Kensi ate quite well, even though her portion sizes were a bit on the larger side and she also walked many places without issue. She sensed that Megan was almost enjoying her friend being bigger than her. Like she found it funny or it made her think that she was better than Kensi in some way. Perhaps she was wrong, perhaps all the years of bullying had made her paranoid, leading her to assume the worst in people. Either way Megan hadn't actually done anything cruel to her, so for now she would give her the benefit of the doubt. Arriving at her boyfriend's house, they stopped at the front door and Megan approached first, giving it a loud knock. Kensi stood in a nervous fashion next to the other female, watching the door anxiously.
