The Bay of Lorre had earned itself something of a reputation over the last few years, a picture of beauty that had wormed its way into the hearts of countless travelers looking to take in the scenery. The white beaches, the crystal waters, the massive cliffs that surrounded both. It was spoken of as an area of peace, a place where one could clear away that turmoil that clung to the mind. Even so, the beauty was fleeting. All knew of the beasts that lurked deep within the water, creatures that could tear a human limb from limb within moments. To most, to dive into the waters was a death wish. And yet, to a member of the Order of Vinto it was simply another day on the job. Magically enhanced through ancient ceremonies, and trained since they were no more than babe, each member was worth at least a dozen men.

Yorna was one such person.

Now, six years later, the woman could feel a slight scowl painting her lips as she dug her gloved hands into rock, teeth grit as she tried her hardest not to look down. It probably didn't help that she had so much gear weighing her down, both weaponry and foodd. Shifting her shoulder so the pack wouldn't come loose, the woman continued her way downwards...crimson eyes checking each of footholds to make sure they wouldn't crumble. She was still younger than most of the members, barely even eighteen. This would be her first 'official' mission, and it'd serve her reputation little if the end came not from glorious battle but from a broken neck.

With a grunt, she'd finally land. Leather boots hit the sand with slight thump, the young woman rolling her shoulders to ease the aches that had built up during her descent. Shifting of her pack, Yorna Iose turned about...eyes trailing up the small dunes towards the expansive waters ahead. She recalled the sudden shelf only a couple feet past the water's edge, having nearly pulled her ankle upon wading in a bit too deep during a past training expedition. Past there, it was pretty much a straight shot to the ocean. There were couple of underwater caves that nature had built into the cliffs as well, though without proper equipment they were nearly impossible to reach. She didn't plan on going that deep however, the woman quite aware of how quarry would probably be out and about in the more shallow waters today.

At least, hopefully that'd be the case.

Making her way down the sandy expanse, the young woman would come to a stop where the water met the saand...taking a brief moment to look towards her own reflection. Long hair, as white as snow, was pulled back into a bun. Her pale features were wracked with exhaustion meanwhile, deep bags hanging from her blood-red eyes. The last couple of years had taken their toll, the young woman in the reflection still feeling like a stranger.

"..."

Turning away, she'd loosen her pack, letting it hit the ground. She'd need to get this down before the sun went down. Pulling open the leather bag, the woman would shuffle through the contents before producing a small, tightly corked, bottle filled with a light blue liquid. A creation of the alchemists who worked for the order, normally a bottle would cost an arm and a leg. With a pop she'd open it, and with only a hint of hesitation she'd down the contents. Her nose wrinkled as the sour taste clung to her taste buds, but within seconds it was gone. Air wasn't going to be a problem now...

Leaving the bag where it was, the young woman allowed both her bow and quiver to fall to the ground as well, keeping only her simply sword. She'd remove her boots as well, alongside her leather cuirass, revealing the simple tunic beneath it. Beneath the tunic, etched upon bare skin, would be what almost seemed to be a tattoo of sorts. Running along the entirety of her belly, it was the symbol of Vinto. All members of the order bore it, and even a simple peasant would be able to sense of the magic radiating from it.

Bare feet pressing into the sand, the young woman would come to a stop as she reached the shelf...closing her eyes for a brief moment before bringing her hands together and diving into the waters. She dove deep, the sun turning into nothing but a shimmer. Swimming forward, a hand upon her blade, the woman's attention wandered...looking for any sign of the creature she was to hunt.

The undersea grotto near the Bay of Lorre was unknown to man; no one was foolish enough to explore the waters to discover what resided within the underwater caves. The only humans that learned of the grotto's existence were women foolish enough to enter the waters in the area. Though most believed that they were slaughtered by sea monsters, there was one who preyed upon females. The other creatures of the Bay seemed to realize her need, as the feral beasts of the waters never claimed the life of a woman unless she showed no interest in them. If she wanted a woman, they knew to let her have them.

But it had been some time since any female human had wandered into the waters. The other creatures had the occasional snack, but her desires weren't being sated. It made her impatient, angered; she'd even mistake males for females and take out her frustrations on them before plunging back into the depths, unsatisfied. Her need was more than any physical desire...which only made her more reckless in trying to find females to fulfill that need.

She emerged from the underwater cavern that led to the grotto. Her many long tentacles trailed behind her in the water, wiggling as they pushed her forward. Above the tentacles was a humanoid body, one that might have been considered beautiful if not for what rested below the waist. Her eyes could see for miles beneath the waters, able to make out every living being all around her in the Bay of Lorre. She watched the other creatures fight for tiny fishes, hungry and enraged almost like she was. She watched young hatchlings following their parents in the hunt. She watched seaweeds wave in the ocean current, dancing among the coral.

And out of the corner of her eye, she saw...something unusual. Her eyes must have been tricking her, she thought at first; it seemed so clear, but she believed that she was mistaken yet again. Another look confirmed her suspicion—the person's light clothing didn't hide their feminine body from her. It was true: a woman had leapt into the water.

In easier times, the creature would have taken note of the weapon in the woman's hand. Now, without having fulfilled her need for so long, all she was concerned about was overpowering the woman, taking her back to her lair...having her way with her. Her eyes fixed upon the diving woman, Scylla propelled herself through the water, planning on striking quickly and mercilessly. Even in her desperate state, she knew enough to avoid inflicting serious harm upon her prey. They wouldn't suit her needs very well if they were mortally wounded, after all. She had no idea why this woman was here, or how she would be more than Scylla could ever have wished for; all she knew was that she needed to make this human hers.

Through the waters Yorna moved, arms gracefully scooping through the currents as she worked her way farther and farther from the shore. Even though air was no longer an issue, that hardly meant Yorna was in her element. The water clogged her senses, and even her movements felt a tad bit sluggish. To combat the beast would be difficult, especially the countless rumors concerning it were true. Regardless, the girl knew she had little choice. The Order was quite clear when it'd sent her out - she would come back with the monster's head in arms, or she would not come back at all. Failure was inconceivable, and those who showed cowardice would be executed on the spot. That was the way things were, and how it always would be. Dark red eyes blinked away the salty water as her form continued peddle forward, a hand gently resting upon the hilt of her blade. The mark on her stomach burned as the magical energies powered her movements, and Yorna was well aware that the clock was ticking. The potion she'd drunken would hardly last forever, and they had only given her one. If she ran out of time well...the thought sent a chill through her bones. She h-

"...?!"

Speak of the devil. The flicker of movement was enough to catch Yorna's attention. Her muscles tensed, and almost immediately a lifetimes worth of training caused her to react. The short blade was unsheathed within seconds, and pivoting about as quickly as she was able Yorna's eyes met those of her quarry. Tentacles writhing about, the creature was barely even more than a blur as it shot towards the young huntress. The girl's hand tightened around her blade, quickly kicking her feet she swam out of the creature's path. Hoping that it'd be unable to change its path quickly enough, Yorna prepped an attack of her own and swung forward.

Scylla barely noticed the woman preparing to defend herself and evade her charge. Her lack of awareness caused her to completely miss the woman—though she would quickly become aware of her once the blade slashed one of her tentacles. It was a minor wound, but it jolted Scylla out of her berserk fury. Part of her flared with even deeper anger at the nerve of this pitiful human to harm her, but at the same time it told her that mindless rage was less of an strength than a weakness. Gathering her composure, Scylla looked upon the sword-wielding woman. A small smile formed on her face. Yes, she'd be perfect...but first she had to subdue her.

A roar escaped Scylla's mouth—one that was muffled by the water and more vicious than she truly was, but it would still sound quite intimidating. Flourishing her tentacles, Scylla made a second charge at the woman. She kept her eyes on the woman's weapon, not wanting to let this pitiful creature land another strike on her. Before she reached the woman, Scylla would weave away from her, lashing out with her tentacles with remarkable force. She'd barely be aware of whether or not her attack had any effect until after she had struck, but she knew that she had to take the fight out of this human, at least enough to ensnare her. With all of her fury, Scylla whipped her tentacles at the woman, hoping that she'd catch the human off-guard.

The attack struck, admittedly to Yorna's own surprise. And though she felt her blade meet flesh, it was hard to say how much damage she'd actually done. Quickly pulling back her sword, the girl used a bit of momentum to push herself back, allowing the huntress a fair bit of breathing room. The creature itself had managed to regain her composure now as well, and no longer a blur Yorna found her crimson gaze slowly trailing over the creature's figure. She'd been given a description, and had been told countless stories of this 'Scylla'. And yet, as her own eyes met those of the creatures, the girl couldn't help but to feel her heart nearly skip a beat. Though her lower half was no more than writhing mass of tentacles, above was what one could almost consider human. Smooth skin, a curvaceous figure, and so much more met the girl's eyes. To a lesser man, the sight would've been tantalizing. And yet, like the rest of her order, Yorna knew better than to be tempted by the flesh. So she told herself, at the very least.

Her teeth grit as the sudden roar escaped the beast's mouth, the water around her rushing about as she tried to keep herself straight. Sword raised, the tip aimed pointedly towards the creature's chest, she awaited for the beast's next move. And even as it came, Yorna found herself caught off-guard. It was easy to see that the monster was in its element, its movements graceful and quick. Tentacles shot out, and heart pounding Yorna tried her best keep from being struck. She bobbed and swam about, ducking and rising in an attempt. Her heart pounding, her muscles strained, the weight of the water doing the girl little favors. Finally, she'd be struck. A tentacle slammed right into her belly, eyes widening as pain flared through her form. The wind knocked out of her, the girl could only manage a gurgle before she was sent flying back...stunned.

Once Scylla had turned around after her attack, she saw the woman being sent through the water by the force of her attack. It seemed that this human's hit had been lucky, for she was quite out of her domain in the water. Scylla, on the other hand, was more than adept at maneuvering in the ocean. The woman seemed stunned by the blow, and Scylla began to wonder how this human was able to remain underwater of her own volition for so long. Perhaps it was some sort of magic. Yes...now that she was no longer fully berserk, she could sense an energy coming from this woman. Her smile spread wider; she would be perfect.

With the woman stunned by her attack, Scylla took her chance. She darted through the water, not directly at the woman but to a slight angle. She didn't intend to attack from the front; she wanted to strike from behind while she had the chance. As she swam past the woman, her tentacles reached for the woman—not to strike her away this time, but to grab hold of her. Her first tentacles aimed for the woman's legs; if she caught hold of them, then she'd be able to pull the woman into the rest of her tentacles.

Why was she acting so sluggish? The water weighed against her, yes, but even so Yorna should've been better than this. She'd dedicated her entire life such stuff, and yet here she was...being made a fool of by this beast. With a wince, she managed to only just barely straighten herself out, a stray hand clutching her side as a bolt of pain shot through her belly. The blow had been a painful one, but even so though the young huntress knew better than to show weakness. Keeping as tight a grip as she was able she watched as the monster bided her time, waited until the beast made its next move. And as it did so, as it shot towards her once more, the girl tried to counter. She swung the sword downwards, teeth grit as she tried to plunge the steel right into its side. Once more, however, the octomaid proved too quick. It soared harmlessly past her, before she Yorna could even straighten herself out she felt something snatch hold of her ankles.

...no!

The creatures tentacles ensnared her legs, the grip almost impossibly tight. Only able to mutter a gasp, she found herself yanked forward, right back towards her enemy.

No, no!

Her grip on the blade loosened with the sudden whiplash, it slipped out of her fingers.

Scylla glanced back at the human, smiling as she saw her weapon drifting away from her hand. At least that was no longer an issue; she wondered just how well the woman could fight without her sword. She didn't dare to take any chances, and now that she had her hold on the woman, she wasn't letting go. Two more tentacles whipped around the woman's torso, wrapping around her body and pulling her closer to the octomaid. The tentacles' grip remained tight while the tentacles around her chest started to slowly rub against and around her breasts, as if judging the size of them. Another tentacle reached underneath the woman's tunic, the tip probing between her legs—Scylla had found this a very effective method of distracting her captured prey. When she was satisfied with her inspection of the woman, Scylla pulled her close, close enough so that the woman could look upon Scylla's beautiful face, her long light hair flowing about in the water. And most of all, Scylla wanted the woman to see her cruel smile, to know that she was at this sea creature's mercy. With that, Scylla started to swim off towards a distant underwater cavern, the human woman tight in her tentacles' grip.

The grip of the tentacles around her limbs tightened despite Yorna's own protests, a wide grimace spreading across the girl's pale lips as she struggled to break free. And yet, it was all for naught. Two more lashed around, quick to tighten around her waist, while another pair came forth as well. This time, however, their interests were not in restraint but instead in something a bit more primal. The girl's ruby eyes would widen as she felt them tease at her chest, body shuddering as they brushed against her breasts with a tenderness she'd never felt. And try as she might, the faint burning in her cheeks grew all the more intense as another slowly drifted beneath her tunic and down past her pants. W-what was she doing? Was Yorna being mocked? "S-stop!" She attempted to cry, and yet all that came was a faint gurgle. Once the tentacles pulled away, done with their 'inspection' the girl felt herself being yanked forward, close enough to garner a proper look at the monster's face. As her prior inspection had shown, the face of the woman was not only incredibly human but...almost beautiful as well. Smooth skin, soft features, almost silky hair that drifted about in the gentle current. And yet, as Yorna's widened eyes fell upon the visage, the beautiful features would suddenly twist. The lips would curl upwards, a vicious smile spreading onto them. Even to the hunter, it was enough to draw a chill through her spine.

"Urgh, gah..." Once more she tried to fight, and once more her struggles would serve only to exhaust the young girl. Subdued, and unarmed, the only thing Yorna could do was watch as she was dragged forth...right into the beast's den.

Scylla relished the fear that she saw in the woman's eyes. She knew that her life was at the creature's mercy. But all Scylla wanted was for this pitiful human to submit to her, to know that she was defeated. As she swan for the cavern, Scylla could feel the woman trying to break free, but her attempts were useless against the tentacles' tight hold.

Soon, the two were plunged into darkness as they entered the underwater cavern. Scylla could see in the darkness, but she doubted that the human could. After a minute or so of rapidly traveling through the passage, a light appeared above them. Soon, Scylla lifted her head from the surface of the water, having arrived at the secret grotto...her lair.

If one didn't know it was the lair of a monster, they might have found it a beautiful place. All along the edges of the grotto were stone ledges a few inches above the water's surface, with a few small platforms in the center of the grotto. The ceiling was lined with stalactite and crystals; some of the crystals shone with a white light, illuminating the grotto. Despite the lack of any other exits from the grotto, the air seemed fresh, if not a little salty.

Once she reached one of the ledges by the wall, Scylla pulled herself up onto the ledge. She allowed the woman to remain in the water for a few seconds more before pulling her out and placing her upon the ledge. One by one, her tentacles unraveled from the human's body. Those close to the woman's breasts and crotch slid away from those areas very slowly. Once the woman was free of her tentacles, Scylla gave a smile—one that wasn't as heartless as the one she gave under the water, but still held a cold edge. She said one single word, more interested in how this human would react for the moment rather than the need Scylla had to fulfill. "Welcome."

Yorna had trained since she could barely even walk, each day more grueling until the next. She swung a blade until her muscles felt as though they were about to tear, she ran and leaped until her bones cried out for her to cease. And then there had been the Rite of Passage, where she'd been branded with the Mark of Vinto and all the power it entailed. Few lived, and those who did spend the next few weeks living in agony. Their blood boiled, their vision blurred, their head pounded. She thought that, upon overcoming it, she would become one of those who stood above the rest. A hero, one of many that the Order produced. And yet, as she was dragged through the thin caverns, her struggles having no effect on the tentacles binding her, the girl had to wonder if all her effort really was wasted. She'd barely even gotten a hit in, and had been subdued almost instantly. Of course, fighting beneath the water was difficult for anyone, but even still - was all the training undergone for nothing? Was she truly going to perish at the hands of this...beast?

They'd soon at the end of the tunnel, the cramped confines giving away to a large cavern. The darkness was burned away by several crystals that accompanied the stalagmites up above, and through the dimly-lit room she could make out several ledges bored into the stone walls around her. Still stuck in the octomaid's tight embrace, she found herself being dragged towards one of them, and without a word from her captor she broke the surface and was set down upon it. Laying upon her back, her struggling stolen most of her energy, the girl could only struggle to catch her breath as she heard the monster pull itself...herself...up onto the ledge as well. Strewn across the drenched stone, she'd slowly crane her neck...eyes falling across the creature. "Ugh...you can...you can talk..." She managed to gasp, chest rising and falling rapidly. "What are you doing...? Why won't you...why won't you kill me?" Such a fate would've been merciful, after the dishonor she'd just faced.

From beneath the tunic, around the girl's belly, a faint glow could be seen as her Mark slowly began to glow. The magic coursing through her veins was trying its best to rekindle Yorna's flame, and yet the snowy-haired girl knew it was worthless. She'd made a fool's mistake, and had expended too much of her strength. There was no way the Mark would be able to replace it in time.

Scylla inched towards the woman, her smile unmoving. "I have no intention of killing you, human. I have oth..."

Her voice trailed off as she noticed the glow underneath the woman's tunic. Her eyes widened with visible surprise at the sight. Ordinary humans served her need perfectly well, but those with magical power within them were much more useful to her. It would be faster, they would be stronger for it, and the human...the human would probably live much longer than others of her kind. All of that suited Scylla's need for a human female more than she could have ever hoped for.

She returned her attention to the woman, with a smile that was less hostile. "Tell me your name," she said, coming a little closer to the human. "Mine is Scylla. I went hunting for a human female, but I have no desire to end your life or devour you. I had expected a normal human, but that glow on your body...it is magical, which makes you very interesting to me." As she continued to speak, her voice took on a more melodic tone; there was something strangely enchanting about her voice, though she wasn't yet trying to influence the human's mind. "You will remain here with me, to serve me...to live with me. You will become my partner, my companion in comfort and pleasure. You will fulfill any desire I may have, and perhaps I may do the same for you." Coming closer to the human, Scylla started to move towards the human's side. None of the women she captured reacted well to her most important need. "And you will carry my young in your body, until they are ready to be born...every egg my body produces while you serve me shall mature in your womb, and you will nurture my young as needed. You will be the perfect carrier for my young, human."

Her eyes would widen as she saw the creature, Scylla, growing ever closer. And though she wanted to move, wanted to fight back, her aching body refused to yield. Her attempts grew all the more fruitless as the woman began to speak, a soft melody tracing each word that left her mouth. They ensnared Yorna's own mind, and for a moment it felt as though a faint fog had settled over her brain. What she said, of how Yorna would be a sire to her young, should've drawn more of a reaction. Anger, terror, something. She was better than that, dammit! And yet, all the girl could manage was a blank stare...teeth grinding together as she struggled to keep herself from giving in to the obvious attempt at control. "I...I..." Her voice was faint, her breathing growing more and more rapid. "Go to hell..." She spoke through clenched teeth, staring up towards the woman. "Just kill me, you won't be able to control me..."

The mark on her stomach continued to grow, the girl trembling slightly as the flow of magic increased.

"I don't want to kill you," Scylla said, leaning over the woman. "I need you. I need a female to carry my eggs. And I have claimed you for that need." Her smile widened. "Would you truly prefer death? Wouldn't bringing new life into this world bring you happiness? And the pleasures we could share..."

The octomaid moved away from the woman. With her back turned to her, she said, "Calm yourself." These two words were even more melodic than the other words she spoke. "Do not tire yourself. You won't be leaving this place, and one way or another, your womb will soon be filled with my eggs. Would you not prefer accepting my young in an intimate, sensual embrace...rather than bound in my tentacles as their grip crushes your limbs?" She turned back towards the human, knowing that she found Scylla attractive. "Would you not enjoy losing yourself in my beauty as, one by one, my young sliding into your body brings you greater and greater pleasure? Tell me...do you really not want to carry my young?" Her tentacles inched closer to Yorna as she awaited the woman's response.

Though Yorna should've been absolutely disgusted by what she was hearing, the idea of actually becoming a...source of the monsters despicable, the woman's words still managed to make her ears perked. The cloudiness continued to linger as melodic tone continued to gently nudge at her mind, and though she tried her best to resist it not even the magic coursing through the young huntress's veins was hardly enough to make her ignore the allure...supernatural or otherwise. Closing his eyes slow slightly, the girl able to hear the tentacles sliding towards her, the girl's chest continued to rise and fall. No, no...she could't do this. She'd spent her life as apart of the Order, had given up so much in order to help the world. One defeat wasn't going to cripple her, it couldn't! And yet -

Head rolling to the side, her eyes fell upon Scylla once more. Her gaze lingered upon the beautiful form, and even though the thought went against her very being...the huntress could not help but admit that she had to wonder. How would it feel to have soft hands running over her body? Gently caressing at her belly? Throughout her life, Yorna had never known the pleasure of flesh. And yet now, whether it was of her own will or the monster's allure, she could not help but wonder. "How...how does it feel?" The fieriness had wandered out of her tone, the fogginess in her brain growing all the more apparent. The desire was mounting, her resistances breaking. "Does it...does it hurt...?"

A soft chuckle came from Scylla. This one was too entranced to fight back...she even seemed intrigued by the prospect. By now, Scylla was right next to Yorna. A tentacle started to stroke the woman's leg gently. "It may, but only for a second," Scylla said. "That is, if you don't struggle. I can be very gentle with impregnating you, or I can force my eggs into you roughly and rapidly. It's up to you...whether you try to escape or accept my young and enjoy the pleasure I can bring you..."

Her tentacle slid away from Yorna's leg. "Are you willing to carry my young? Then please, undress yourself. I want to look upon your bare body, I want you to be no more covered than I am...I want you to show me that you want to be my servant." The octomaid inched away. This human seemed so weak, even with the magical mark upon her body. At least it would benefit her young if it didn't help this warrior. "And if you're considering trying to escape...I can chase you down, I can make it quite unpleasant for you. And I don't want to do that, so I ask that you please undress and spread your legs. I can't wait to get started." Just thinking about it made Scylla just want to eschew her seduction and simply wrap her tentacles around this woman as she pumped her full of eggs, but at this point, she was willing to play along with a gentle demeanour and make it easier for this human.

"..." Was she really doing? Was truly giving herself over to the beast before her? And yet, though she may have been strong of body the same could not be said of the girl's mind. The melodic tones caressed her brain, and though deep down she may have been disgusted now Yorna could only imagine how it'd feel once she fell into the creature's loving embrace. She deserved this, no? She'd wasted her life following the whims of others, allowing her soul to whither all for something that was hardly even worth it in the first place. There were hundreds of hunters who were apart of her order, they would hardly miss just one. Certainly...certainly...

Stumbling to her feet, she slowly went to work removing her sopping-wet clothing. The drenched tunic hit the ground with a wet thump, the mark on her stomach having taken on a barely visible glow. Her pants followed, and soon her underwear as well. Beneath the clothing, it was obvious that most of her time was hardly spent idle. Traces of muscle aligned her form, and her chest was modest in size. Skin as milky as her hair as well, another one of the effects side-effects of the magic infusion she'd undergone. "I...I want..." The words struggled out of her lips, but with a bit of coaxing they slowly stumbled out. "I want...to be your servant..." And though it may have shamed her to utter such things, the only real thing upon the girl's mind was excitement at what was to happen. Laying back down upon the ground, stomach growing taut, she'd spread her legs. Eyes closing, the girl awaited for the moment.

She listened to the sound of the woman shedding her clothes. Finally, she spoke, and Scylla smiled at her words. "I'm glad you're willing to help me," Scylla said, turning back towards her. "This won't take long, my dear. Or perhaps you'd prefer it to take a while." A soft laugh escaped her lips. "And...I have to thank you, for willingly becoming my servant." The octomaid managed to keep herself from grinning after telling such a lie.

Her tentacles started to stroke all over Yorna's exposed skin as the octomaid positioned herself over the woman's crotch. The tips of the tentacles grazed her breasts, provoking a rather lewd smile from Scylla. Fluid from underneath Scylla's mass of tentacles dripped onto Yorna's sex as the tentacles slowly wrapped around Yorna's ankles and stroked her torso. It was a perfect view of the octomaid's beauty and almost-perfect body, with a look on her face betraying just how eager she was to begin.

After a few seconds, something that felt like a tentacle would begin to rub against Yorna's nether lips for a few seconds before pushing them apart and sliding inside. Scylla's ovipositor was narrow, but as it began to slide deeper and deeper into Yorna's body, the tube widened, eventually starting to spread her passage open more and more. Scylla's breathing became heavier—she finally had a woman to carry her eggs, to reproduce with, to keep as her sex slave. Had she not wanted to ensure that this woman would remain with her for a long time, she would have released every single egg that she could into the human's womb...but more reasonable burdens meant that this one would remain her servant for a long, long time.
