How To Be A Lycan (FemShep x Hexxed4life)

Waya skidded to a stop and gave Erica a canine grin. Perfect! Ready for your hunting lesson?

Erica gave a canine smile back and tried to reply, but ended up barking instead. She didn't know how to talk telepathically, so she made a whining sound asking how to do it.

Just imagine a connection between us, whether it be literal or metaphorical, Waya explained. She moved closer and nuzzled against Erica, thinking it might help.

Erica's eyes widened as she felt Waya nuzzle her. Next thing she knew she was saying "Thank you Waya." She gave her a nuzzle back as a thank you

Waya smiled and pulled back a bit. Ready for your hunting lesson? she asked.

Waya turned and led her out of the village completely, into the woods. The trick is to be very quiet. Avoid crunchy leaves or twigs that snap. She looked around and spotted a rather large rabbit. Watch. She stalked towards it silently, getting within about ten yards of it before dashing towards it, clamping her jaws down on it before it even realized what was happening. She sunk her teeth into its neck and held it in her jaws until it stopped struggling. She trotted back to Erica and dropped the rabbit at her paws. Your turn.

Erica watched as Waya demonstrated to her how to hunt and felt a little nervous when it was her turn. She spotted a small fox, it wasn't a pup, but it was small. She stayed low tghe ground. Slowly creeping closer to the fox. When she was close enough she dashed towards it and while it had a small chance to run she managed to grab it's neck and hold onto it until it stopped shaking

Waya smiled. You're doing really well for a first-timer. Let's go back to the village. She picked up her rabbit and waited for Erica to catch up before leading her back to the ring and changing into her human form.

Erica smiled and replied "Yeah it feels so natural too. Maybe I was suppose to be a werewolf after all." She grabbed her fox and followed Waya back to the village and seeing her transform back into a human. She tilted her head and asked "How do I transform back?"

"Channel your human side. Think of a happy memory," Waya said. She watched Erica closely, ready to help if need be.

Erica looked down trying to think of a happy memory, but it was difficult to find one. Her family had treated her badly, had no friends, and worked all her life. Maybe that's why she preferred being alone all the time, but Waya was her only and first real friend. She wrote to express her life through writing and several characters. She thought long and hard and every good.memory she had was her being alone and it wasn't enough to turn her back.

Waya changed back into her wolf form and nuzzled Erica once again, giving her ear a little lick as she did so.[/i]

Waya made her transformation as well and smiled at Erica. "Ready?"

"Going back to the village," Waya said as she lead her away from the ring. She liked being around Erica and was trying to think of excuses to spend more time with her.

"Oh right, of course." Erica said chuckling at herself. Waya was really nice and she personally wanted to be around her more often. Hopefully they could become close friends, although she had to admit Waya was beautiful

Waya led Erica to the den where they kept their meat and fish. There was a separate pile for every type of animal they caught. She put her rabbit in the rabbit pile and pointed Erica to the fox pile.

"We've calculated exactly how long it takes before each piece of meat goes bad, that's why we have all the different piles. Rabbits and foxes need to be cooked and eaten within about three or four days. Bigger animals like deer usually last quite a bit longer. Fish goes bad pretty quick," she explained as they made their way a bit further into the woods. "Now you'll learn which plants and berries are edible."

Waya led her deeper into the forest, where there was a small clearing with several different plants and berry bushes.
