The news came by messenger boy as they were eating breakfast. The young boy was sweating with exertion and his small chest heaved with his labored breaths. A smile crossed the full, dusky rose lips of the young princess as she ordered the messenger boy to rest. He nodded graciously, sinking down in a nearby chair as she ordered for her servants to fetch cool water for the dark haired boy. She walked over to the lad, her movements graceful and befitting of her royal title. She placed one slender hand upon the child's shoulder, smiling. "You have done well child. Rest and perhaps I can persuade the cook to bring you out something sweet." The lad nodded eagerly and she gave him a wink. The boy grinned as a servant girl brought out a goblet of cool water and a small cake for the boy to enjoy as promised. Livia smiled, much happier with ruling with kindness than an iron fist.

Livia thanked him, excusing herself and straightening the white formesta that covered her creamy skin and curvacious body, much differnent than many of the women in the city whose skin was darkened from the bright sun. Having been born in the North, her colorations varied greatly than those of the Magrathian women, with unblemished, cream colored skin, pale blue eyes and red-gold hair, compaired to the Magrathian's darker hair and eyes excluding the occaisional blonde. She opened the scroll to read the message, finding that the battle against the Malachians had been victorious and the armies were returning. Crulean eyes ringed with dark khol and thick, lush lashes lit up at the thought of the soldiers victorious return, one in particular, her husband, the crowned prince. Having had an arranged marriage, the two had not had the time to become well aquainted before he had been called out to the war. Livia was excited about seeing him again, though their meeting had been brief. With what little time the couple had spent together, she found his company refreshing and calming, being drawn in by his wit and charm.

She hurried about, setting plans for a celebration upon their return, a grand party filled with pleasures of the flesh. Her dark red gold hair swished about her shapely hips in a slick waterfall of silken strands as she walked about, held back by a simple gold circlet that rested on her high brow. Golden sandals slapped lightly against the stone and marble floors of the palace as she made her way to the reigning King's halls. Yes, her husband's homecoming would be quite the celebration, she surmised, a smile splitting her lips and displaying perfect pearly white teeth as she hurried along to inform the king of his son's glorious return.
