Other Little Things That Bother You

People who act childish, by getting upset when someone doesn't want to write with them. I wonder if they'd act the same way when declined for a date, or something similar.

Bureaucratic bullshit that doesn't make sense. At all.
People in power who flex muscle merely because they can and for the wrong reasons.
Chicken shit people who waft and waver and hesitate because they are too afraid to do the right thing and stand up for what they believe in... even if it means they have to sit back and watch someone wrongfully fall and what's more, them actually saying something won't even affect them, they're just to pansy-ass and worried to be 'disliked'.
People who whisper and talk behind backs rather than being upfront and direct.
Spineless cowards... you can all die in a fire.

Super small, intensely tight cliques that exclude all but only that tiny handful of people. It's just plain rude and completely school/teen minded.

A stoned person lecturing on how smoking cigarettes is bad for me.

Politics and religion are fine in themselves--until either or both are used as an excuse to exclude, judge and/or condemn others.

When I'm walking my 2 friendly, gentle pitbulls who wag their tails and nicely approach a chihuahua or poodle and the little thing growls, barks, bares its teeth, snarls and savagely snaps in fierce hysteria. And my dogs will just suddenly stand still, blink and look confused.

When you totally get into a great rp session with everything rolling along and your comp flat out croaks!

Marijuana is completely different from cigarettes. There are toxins in cigarettes and fiber glass.

That it takes almost two hours for someone I know to get ready to come hang out with me. The fuck is this? It takes me 15 minutes max and that's usually because I feel like straightening my hair. AND YOU'RE A GUY.

Fuck off.

That one fine piece of hair that curls into your ear and tickles you so deep in the canal that there is no way to scratch it without using a slim object that could risk damaging your hearing for good.
OH GOD I JUST WANT TO SCRATCH MY EAR! IT'S SO FUCKING ANNOYING!
AAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRGGGGGHHHH! (ノಠ益ಠ)ノ彡┻━┻

Having to pay the government almost $300 a month in license fees to play music in the store, even if it's only free to air radio that everyone can listen to because there is a chance that the people who are listening might not have bought the song themselves. DAFUQ?
And they wonder why most people pirate.
I'm sorry, but do the rev heads who blast crappy music from their cars paying this because I might not own the song they're listening to?!

When people respond to your request thread with "Want to roleplay?" Or "Interested in role playing" LIKE NO SHIT I WANT TO ROLEPLAY. xD

People who post in my request thread "PM me if you want to roleplay". Uhh, no, you are in MY thread. You should read MY suggestions and contact ME. I am the one looking. You are responding. If anyone does that, I ignore them entirely.

That never made sense to me. You're posting the request and yet they are telling you to PM them. It makes even less sense when you tell them to PM you if their interested in your thread and they instead tell you to PM them.

Back on subject: Airport security. I understand that you're doing your job and trying to keep us safe, but please hire more competent people. Since I work at an airport, I get a few perks, such as bringing drinks through security. I almost got my lunch thrown out because the security lady thought my can of Sprite was a can of beer. Really? The large Sprite logo on the can didn't give you any hints?

Yesssssssssssss.

I also hate that my partners always expect me to start.
I start 95% of the time. The other 5% comprises of 2% actually starting and the other 3% never PMing me back. Drives me nuts.

I don't mind starting, but I feel if the partner is contacting YOU ... that THEY should start. And vice versa. Just me?

I actually love starting; it gives me the chance to set up the world and character build. I can write anything I want, any scene that makes sense to start in, I have the freedom to start everything.

I think that if you created the idea, you should start it, though, especially if it's a well-thought out plot with specific characters. That way, you can set up the idea exactly as you envisioned in the first place. But they could at least offer to start, I agree.

I hate people who control my character. A little nudging is fine, to progress the story, such as "They walked down the street together" - you're moving things ahead, that's fine, I'd do the same. But when you go "She began to gag on his cock" ... uhh, maybe my girl is like, the best dick sucker ever? And she DIDN'T gag? Can you give me the opportunity to respond, please?

If it's my own plot, I will start (actually, I usually have starters ready).
But when it's a pairing, and the idea is from scratch between the two characters. Sometimes the plot is even set up specifically for the male to start. Like, for example, the man coming home from work. And they STILL expect me to start. x_x

On another not-related-to-roleplaying note, I hate when owners bring their aggressive dogs to dog parks without muzzling them or taking proper precautions.

The constant stream of teenage dick heads who come into my store, go straight to the horror section, pick up the first title they see and loudly proclaim "This isn't a horror, it's a comedy! I've seen way more scarier shit than this!"
Fuck off dude, you're not impressing anyone, nobody cares.
They come in every freaking day, never buy anything and loudly (and obnoxiously) judge everything I have for sale. It drives my up the wall!
Urgh, I wouldn't mind so much if they actually bought something every now and then.

People asking for "smut, that's all, nothing else." This site doesn't exist to get your rocks off. Go watch a porn. We're writers. We roleplay. Just because this is an adult site doesn't mean we're all about the sex. I think blue moon accepts adult themes, but it doesn't promote it.

People who don't roleplay with those who write in first person.
Drives me ballistic.

I agree a bit.. as I have always believed that, even idealized, you are playing a version of yourself so what is the deal?

Right on on all of that, though I agree about the toxicity of cigarettes. They added refined sugar to cigs to make them even more addictive, though, so I also kind of agree with Hahvy as well.

People who think they know your job better than you.
People who butt in all the time to the point of excess.
People who need to 'chime in', when half the time they are either wrong, restating something already stated (redundancy much?) or just doing so because they HAVE to get their word in there somehow.
People who do things in excess and either don't get it or when told to knock it off, still don't get it or don't give a damn.

Should also add...... Know it alls.

To me first person has nothing to do with being myself. It has everything to do with BECOMING the character. First person is a more personal point of view. You're writing as if you ARE the character. As if you're in the characters head, if that makes sense. That's how I play it, anyways.

Other thing that bothers me: when people expect you to be there for them but when you're in need they suddenly don't have time or don't eve care.

People who come into my store who know that I am closing up for the night, but still take half a fucking hour to browse then leave without buying anything.
Boy, if murder was legal.
