The Blood Raven, name of the pirate ship belonging to Redbeard. Upon the seas sail three other ships captained by a legionary pirate, Blackbeard, Whitebeard, and Ex Legionnaire Charles. In the ten years since each of the captains became known to the seas their fame and worth have risen to infamous heights and so have the bounty for their heads. Redbeard is a ruthless man to his opponents and his crew and seems to have a blind eye turned to the rising desire for a mutiny to feed him to the sharks.
But for now the story will go into Blood Raven..Shes a beautiful ship, 10 cannons on either side and two rear cannons. The sails on the ship are black like a raven, but the smoke that fires from the cannons create a cloud of red which created her name. She houses a crew of 50 and though her captain cares not how her crew lives, she is capable of being beautiful under the right command..

Peter, or as for most of the crew where real names have become their fiction and their nickname is who everyone recognizes them as, Mr. Saint, deemed his nickname for the graceful was he battles and the tattoo of wings upon one of his arms, overlooked the sea out beyond and beyond more, endless it seemed to his eyes filled with many opportunities. The Blood Raven was dock at a pirate's cove, the captain off at the local pup to recruit new crew members after a loss from a battle agaisnt two British patrol ships, leaving Peter behind to watch over the ship and it's contents. Peter was his first mate, believed trusted companion of the captain, but in reality Peter was sick of the mistreatment of the crew as well, though held his tongue.

"The day is bright gentlemen, if we be out on the open seas today, those Brits would spot us easily, thou we make a difficult opponent sunshine or hurricane!" He said out to the remaining crew on board, greeted by a 'aye!' by the fellow pirates who then went back to scrubbing the deck or patching holes that were sent into their sails from recent battles. Redbeard did not mind women crew upon his ship, taking no belief in the curse that was believed to exist with women on board and probably enjoying the sight of a set of cans instead of constant men, hairy men, messy men, ugly men.. Though not to say some of the women crew were not ugly hairy themselves, just the ratio was in the women's favor to be seen beautiful, in their pirate attire. A common joke amongst the crew was that Whitebeard was actually a woman, mistaken as a man because of the white fox fur she wears around her neck. Whether this was true or not was unknown, very little saw Blackbeard or Whitebeard and lived to tell about it while Redbeard enjoyed leaving victims to spread the fear..
Peter yawned lightly, his saber reflecting the sunlight across the ship pointlessly, and he turned around to view out upon the cove, to grin at the common sight of pirates chasing women, dogs chasing pirates, and drunken people doing god knows what..

High above in the Raven's nest a girl stood holding pirates scope looked out to the seas just in case they were chased, when the coast was clear a sigh escaped her mouth. The captain was normally not too harsh on her but she suspected cause she had such an impressive display which irritated her. Though she was happy to not be one of those hair, ugly, messy men no matter where they were she'd find a way to get clean rather refusing to stay dirty like the rest. Her eyes perked up as she looked down at the group hearing 'Mr. Saint' give some kind speech to the crew to keep them from chopping the old man's head off cause he was too much of a dick to the rest of the crew. The women were treated a lot nicer than in the big city towns but she knew why the good captain wanted to dive into their coves for certain and they were a welcome view rather then the men he had to serve with. "Hey Mr. Saint you better give a better speech eventually the men don't really believe you!" She yelled out from on the Raven's nest as the men roared with her with agreement as she smirked at them, "Now now men, don't give the saint a hard time..." she said slowly like a mother waving her finger in front of a child. The men smirked as they nodded though they played along due to how beautiful she was they would act like anything for her.

While she had responded she decided she'd grace them with her presence as she jumped from the Raven's nest onto the mass then jumped onto the deck from where she was at. The fall was pretty hard but she could handle it being through so much fighting it was easy to tolerate that as her eyes focused on them, "Now what is on the agenda today? I suspect you all are going to pretend working when the captain comes back then plan some 'big' mutiny? or something?" She said tauntingly as she had listened to their plans before even 'Mr. Saint' was often sometimes apart of them though it was always with the captain being ashore to look for new recruits after some had passed in the recent fighting they had gone through before landing on port. Sara or as her name would say 'Hawk' due to her ability to find enemy craft out in the water ways out to predict their movements she was given her name on ability alone not just the fact that the men were bored and wanted to create a new nick name which they might have for Peter but in reality it was more of how they admired her ability to keep them alive.

Peter rolled his eyes, Hawk has been getting on his nerves the last few weeks, encouraging thoughts of mutiny though in small dosages and especially while the captain wasn't around. He looked over the female crew member, she was probably by far the most attractive female on this ship, but her attitude usually tainted her attractiveness. It wasn't like he supported how his captain treated his crew, but Peter had the belief that the captain would turn his ways around, there was a time a long time ago when he was a fair man but things changed when his wife died some years ago, as would such a tragic event do for most people.

Perhaps though, it was time.. "Like you have it tough Hawk, always up there watching for ships." He chuckled lightly, sometimes she did seem like she was flying, maybe it was the whiskey that made him think that. Maybe why they haven't done a mutiny yet, after so much hardship, was the treasures they obtained. The Blood Raven had a pretty good success ratio when it came to filling it's cargo with the plunder they obtained. Redbeard was a accommodating man when it came to splitting up the plunder, so far that had been enough to keep his crew around.

Sara blinked let out a huff as she crossed her arms, "If I didn't 'watch for ships' we all be dead a couple times before! I do a lot of good for this ship and the people on it. I just listen to you men babble about how you want to overthrow our captain. Honestly I don't care I mean it could be worse than what we have it! I just love to tease you guys about how you talk and don't do anything. BUT..." she said softly turning around with her arms behind her back then slowly turned around walking back.

She grabbed Peter 'Mr. Saint' in a kinda open hug pulling his head down some like in a whisper, "IF you do want to mutiny just let me know! I would like to take some of that plunder we get from our raids, though I get a fair share, hmm....about 45% the rest of you can sort out the rest for yourselves." She whispered her terms as she laughed letting him go sauntering back to the railing of the ship looking out not doing a thing since the captain was gone, though when he would return she'd be back up in the nest to avoid any further duties.

"That's a ridiculous percentage.. You truly are a pirate." He laughed, then walked away from Sara. While they were at the cove, they always kept someone trustworthy for the whole crew on board as well as some other crewmen in case another pirate crew decided to attack or steal from another ship. This was a extremely offensive thing to do at the pirate cove, the law..if caught..was banishment from this cove but those skilled crews attempted and a few times succeeded in their efforts. Another way to earn allowance to dock here back after being caught was paying a hefty amount.

It was why Peter was on board right now rather than enjoying himself out there. The same with the few that were left behind while the rest of the crew were out getting drunk of laid. They had a schedule, so eventually almost everyone got to get off shore.
A red bird, possibly a hawk, flew by their ship dropping off a string wrapped up note onto Sara's head. It informed that Redbeard was coming back to the ship soon and to prepare to leave. Apparently a few of the crew were going to miss out on getting shore leave.

Sara took the note and frowned as she wanted shore leave though she just gripped the note tightly. When Peter had began to walk away from her she went up to him and tapped him on the shoulder, "Hey, tell the men that they need to prepare for our leave. I guess we don't get to go out and enjoy the vices out on the shore." She said with a growl as she began to prepare the mass and other things on the ship that dealt with its ability to 'go'.

When things like that were done she began her climb up to the raven's nest as she spotted Red Beard coming out of one of the taverns as she growled ripping up the note but then looked out to sea. There wasn't anything that was attacking them not even another rival pirate band that often attacked them seeing they were one of the few successful pirates out on the open seas. When she finished her scouting she gave the okay when Red Beard had just made his way onto the ship as she sat up there waiting for him to give them some kind of threatening ominous message about mutiny then they would leave just as fast as they dropped anchor.

Red Beard was a intimidating man to say the least, he was tall and muscluer sure, that could be found in many places, but his attitude usually paired with his appearance perfectly. Ruthless, uncaring, un-joking, hated.. People knew of his past actions, of how when a crew member had refused to do something once, he made sure literally that the sharks had something to eat..
As he neared his ship, the crew became quiet, fearing any laughter or something that wasn't work would get them killed. Peter greeted him and the rest of the crew returning. By the way the crew looked, you could tell who was on Red Beard's side and who could possibly be on the mutineer's side. They appeared ruthless and evil, they were the pure example of evil, a few of them were ex prisoners who were imprisoned because of murders, rapes, psychotic..

"Sail off for the Caribbeans!" the captain announced, going into his quarters after motioning for two of the female crew to follow him..As long as they stayed on his good side they got paid more, and sometimes that needed sex. Peter went up to the wheel to drive the ship, looking back at Sara for a moment.

Raven yelled down, "Captain! The skies and seas look clear!" basically stating that the seas and the dangers had passed for them to sail. Though she saw two girls follow Red Beard she didn't follow, she wasn't somebody's sex slave. Red Beard knew she would do something if she was pushed into that situation and she'd find a way to survive, she did it before he had picked her though she suspected he liked her around due to her body for ogling. However if the man ever openly said it she'd stand up to him, she wasn't one for being bent over in senses of saying as her eyes did trail on the girls she scoffed.

When she brought her eyes up she noticed that Peter was watching her, she smirked motioning what she wanted as a cut for the mutiny if they did go through with it. She made fingers to him as she laughed some looking ahead keeping her scope in hand to make sure she kept them all plus herself alive while they sailed across the seas.

Peter would not give her a cut in anything if a mutiny did occur. The logic behind that was out the window, she as well as most of the people around here wanted a mutiny, a new and better captain, how money came into the picture Peter had no clue.

"You know it wouldn't be too hard to toss you overboard." He points out, walking away to do his duties while another crewmen took the wheel. The time wasn't right for a mutiny, not now, not so close to the pirate coven where he was sure Red Beard had some money located on, he could get a new ship and a new crew and easily come after them while they are still working out the new organization of who's in charge and how things would be done now.

From their location, it would take a few days to get to their destination, maybe shorter if the wind was on their side and they were able to avoid the Spanish and Dutch ships. Peter was recalling some nostalgia, when he first was recruited onto the ship and how Red Beard had been, at that time, a little bit more nicer. He had taken Peter under his wing and begun to teach him everything he needed to know to be a future captain.. He wasn't quite sure where it went south for Red Beard, maybe after his first first mate stole his treasure after a successful quest and added insult to injury and ran off with his love, or maybe when they lost that battle to another pirate captain embarrassingly and had to use roll boats to get to land..Those were eons ago, it seemed Red Beard has been sour for the longest time..
