Hard to Get (Wolven & Ava)

Gabby laughed sweetly when Jack questioned the contents of her bag as she moved it to the hand furthest from him as the hot couple exited the store and back to their car. Sexy heels clicking upon the concrete sidewalk as they walked back to the car. The couple catching more than their fair share of eyes from both sexes. Of course Gabriella felt as though she had a male supermodel at her side. One not afraid of hard work, getting sweating, with both charm and a sense of humor. She got into the passenger seat of the car with the hem of her dress sliding up an inch or two. She couldn't get over his outfit. Especially his exposed chest. "You're going to be leaving his dance and dinner with more than a few numbers." There was little doubt in her mind. In the game of single women and men, if there was no ring it was fair game.

He raised an eyebrow at her comment. "and your alright with that? because I'm certainly not." Though he had been headed for the club before, he took a quick turn in a different direction. "Were going to take a slight detour" he said. he drove about 15 miles through the city streets and finally pulled into a valet parking area, got out of the car and helping her out, handed the keys to the valet. They were in front of Tiffany's.

Gabby looked at him with a curious look. "Honestly, it wouldn't bother me, because at the end of the day I'll be the only woman gracing your bed. They may think they have a chance, but... I know you Jack." She certainly was curious when he took the detour. The drive was certainly nice. Where they stopped, she had not expected. What woman wasn't well aware of Tiffany's. The red headed business woman had certainly made a few purchases for herself at this well known establishment. "Looking for something to go with your new outfit for tonight?" She asked as she held onto his arm as they walked into the store. The selection was always stunning and it was never a dull moment when she came to look.

" I'll leave that to you, I have something else in mind." he led her past the men's jewelry and finding a salesman, he asked for a showing room. They were taken to a room with a large comfortable settee place in front of a large mahogany table. He whispered to the salesman who simply answered "Yes Sir." When he returned he set a black velvet case in front of them. It contained a tremendous selection of 5 plus carat solitaires. " Do you see something that suits you?" Jack asked as he looked into Gabby's eyes.

As the two were take into a showing room and she was seating, her curiosity only peaked even more so. Green eyes watched as Jack and the salesman exchanged words and the man came out with a box and when it was opened she sat in silent awe. The selection of rings before her were beyond stunning and Gabby knew them to be at least five carats or greater. One caught her eyes in particular. A round diamond ring with a diamond band and a milgrain detail that proudly showcased the round brilliant center diamond. She looked over to Jack before she touched anything. "Jack, what are you doing? You are aware that these aren't just normal rings, right?"

He answered her only with a question. "Is that the one you like?" He looked into her eyes as though he was looking through them into her soul. "If it is just say the word." his eyes didn't move from hers.

Once again she looked at the ring and then back at her lover. "I do love it, but Jack you didn't answer my question." He was a persistent one. This she had come to learn on their first date. Already she was spending the night at his home. Could he possible not know what kind of ring it was? Even then, a man spending so much money on a ring for her would definitely be a first.

He reached over and took the ring out of the case and held it in his thumb and fingers. The stones shown like fire and the white gold setting was brilliantly polished. He looked from the ring t her eyes and back again, and finally, his eyes settling on hers dropped to one knee and holding the ring asked. Will you marry me?

Gabriella Eloise O' Connor was, for the first time, dubbed speechless. The woman lost for wards as her mind tried to wrap itself around the fact that a man she had only met a few days ago was proposing to her. A man that had gotten so far under her skin and well within the confines of the gilded cage that once housed her heart that she was utterly dumbfounded. The palm of her hand covered her parted lips and her heart raced. Tears threatened to spill from the corners of her eyes and the notion of her crying made her laugh as it was something she very very rarely did. That and she hated when ever she did it. Yet she smiled. "Jack I hate you." A little weak laugh sounded from her lips. She hated surprises, only because she was always genuinely surprised. This surprise... she loved. "Yes... yes Jack I will marry you." The tears were blinked back and the smile upon her lips just wouldn't go away.

He took her hand and slipped the ring on her finder, and kissed her hand and then all the way up her arm to her lips before standing up, and pulling her to her feet. "Gabrielle, this has been the most incredible weekend of my life, and if i die tomorrow, I'll die happy, but I cant even imagine how good the rest of my life will be. He pulled her to him and kissed her like he hadn't seen her in a week. The kiss made him dizzy. "Lets sit down" he said as he looked over toward the salesman. "Did you get the other thing i asked for?" "Oh yes sir!" and he handed Jack a large black box. Jack set it on the table, it was a Diamond necklace with five 2 carat pendants. He lifted it from the box and put it around her neck. "It looks positively lovely!" Jack said as he leaned in and kissed her. "Now I think we can go dancing!" he said.

The moment that ring was placed upon her finger her mind was just blown. So many questions riddled her mind, but Jack only made the moment all the more sweeter with his kisses. The kiss they shared would be one, she'd never forget. Her breath was stolen and her mind was still reeling from his proposal. As if the proposal wasn't enough of a surprise, when the man returned with another box at Jack's request and it was opened, she was in awe once more. It was a gorgeous it was a white gold corsage necklace with round and baguette brilliant diamonds. It was stunning and the mirror upon the table looked back at her and what looked back was stunned and admittedly gorgeous version of herself. "Oh my God Jack!" She threw her arms around his neck in a generous hug. She looked at the ring and a soft sigh escaped her lips. " Well.. my fiance... lead the way."

After a brief stop at the cashier, he placed her arm in his and lead his gorgeous bride to be out of Tiffany's and claimed his car, helping her into her seat. He closed her door, and then getting in took off through town again and back to their orignal destination. They were an hour late for their dinner reservation, but when Jack announce the reason the female greeter took one look at Gabby and went completely gaga. The arranged for them to have the most romantic table in the restaurant, and brought them a complimentary bottle of champagne to celebrate.

The business woman was utterly stunned with various feelings. Excitement, nervousness, and a slight pang of fear. Not fear of Jack, but fear of what hell would rain upon her when her father found out that the heir to the family company and his only daughter fell in love and got wed within the span of three days. The restaurant was gorgeous and the couple got several looks and Gabby couldn't help but smile like the bride to be that she was. The two were escorted to a table and presented with a bottle of their finest champagne. "My father is going to kill me." Words spoke with a sweet smile and a bit of a laugh. Her father was a bit of a hardass. A kiss pressed against her fiance's lips and a hand slithered its way to his exposed chest. "Did I fail to mention just hot hot you look right now?"

"Its all for you and there's no way I'm half as hot as you are. They were in something of a private corner, and since the staff were aware of their recent engagement, he took advantage and pulled her into his lap. He started kissing her and he was off in another world. His hand strayed up her thigh and under the short skirt. The waiter started to approach the table but seeing her in his lap, he turned around and left, deciding that they were better left alone until he was summoned. Jack caught him leaving out of the corner of his eye and seeing him leaving in a hurry, began to chuckle. " I think we just scared away our server."

jack's green eyed fiance was having the time of her life and it only got better as he pulled her into his lap. "I don't think I've ever had a man that just takes what he wants." Her words were answered with a kiss that sent a wave of heat cascading through her body from head to her well pedicured toes. A soft moan fed to Jack as she felt his hand venturing up her thigh and beneath the short hem of her skirt. Her teddy just waiting to be moved out of the way. Gabby chuckled as Jack pointed out how their server backed off at the sight of them. "I think that earns him a well earned tip." Again her hand was more than tantalized with the well formed contours of his chest, as easily exposed as they were. "Are you hungry?" Words practically fed to him as her lips brushed against his.

"A yes! I'm famished, but not for anything on the menu. I have an idea. ( the restaurant was in a fine hotel) He summoned the waiter who was blushing furiously at seeing them sitting like they were. Jack pulled out his wallet and took out his charge card and three crisp fifty dollar bills. He handed the waiter the cash and his card. "I need a favor. this is my fiance, and I'm sure you will agree she is the most beautiful woman on the face of the earth. We didn't plan this, but we just got engaged as I'm sure you have heard. We need some private time, and a good dinner. We're going to dance for about an hour or so. I want you to put in an order for steak and lobster for two with another bottle of champagne. I want you to go to the hotel and rent us a suite, set up our dinner in the room with candle light, fill the hot tube, come back here and give me the key and my credit card. When you do, there will be another hundred bucks in it for you. Think you can handle that for me.?" "Yes Sir!" the waited said and almost ran to the kitchen.

Jack helped her off his lap, and offering his arm escorted her to the dance floor.

Gabby's jaw dropped as she listened to Jack's directions for the waiter. A kiss was stolen from Jack's lips before she was assisted off of his lap. The gorgeous lady accepted the handsome male's arm as both headed to the dance floor lined with a few other couples. "I'm beginning to think, no one has ever said 'No' to you before." The flame haired female teased as they arrived on the dance floor. He was such a romantic man, but the combination of his personality was something that made her want to laugh. He was no Fabio. He was better.

"That's not true!" he said emphatically. "My mother said it all the time and I just had to take it, but I never heard anyone including my mom say no to my Dad. So I guess I come by it honestly. Just the same, there was nothing my mom couldn't ask him for. He worshiped her, and she obeyed him implicitly. They were best friend till the day my Mom died and Dad didn't last long after that. So yeah." he said as he chased away a tear from the corner of his eye before they reached the dance floor. The band was already playing and there were several couples on the floor. The song was kinda rocky and didn't lend it self to close dancing so they dance apart till it ended, and the next song was lookback to Glen miller and the big band days. He pulled her in close and they danced breast ti chest as it wee and all but made love on the dance floor.

More and more would be learned as the two enjoyed their time together. It was a horrible shame that she wouldn't be able to meet to two people who created the stunningly handsome and charming creature that led her on the dance floor. The song that came up next had a smile tugging at the corner of her soft rosy lips as it was right up his alleyway and she was sure that they were about to put on a show for a few of the other occupants for the room. Only Jack made dancing feel like a sensual art. Put plainly, it always had her wanting to jump his bones where they stood, but that wasn't something she was going to openly voice to him. Like he didn't know anyways. The dancing continued and Gabby was swept off her feet. His skills were outstanding, but she had no issues following. Surprises here and there and her smile only grew.

As the next song started, another Glenn Miller number, with a peppy beat, he whispered in her ear, lets show'em what we've got!. Don't let me hold you back! The girl was alike a finely tuned race car. She was ready to go, and he was letting off the brake. He spun her out on his outsretched arm the did a little shuffle placing the spot light on Gabby. "Go girl!" he said grinning ear to ear. he couldn't remembre when he had had this much fun dancing.

Jack had never really seen Gabby work solo, and this was going to be one hell of a surprise. She was rather surprising when it came to the dance floor. Her feet kept up with the music and all the while working in a twirl that earned her a cheer. A feat considering the restrictions of her dress. The audience that they had gave her a bit of a bigger adrenaline rush and she found her way back into Jacks arms before the song had ended. "Wow... that... that was fun. Very fun."

He kissed her, pulling her body close to his. As they parted the kiss, there was a tap on his shoulder. It was the waiter. "Sorry to disturb you sir, but dinner is served." he handed him a room key. Jack reached in his pocket, and handed him a crisp $100 bill. "Thank you sir, enjoy your evening, both of you"

"Shall we go? we don't want dinner to get cold. We can always come back and dance some more later if you want." he offered her his arm and led the gorgeous redhead from the dance floor. The rode the elevator to the 35th floor at the top of the building, and then inserted their key, the elevator opening directly into their suite. As they walked in the table was set with fine china, champagne sat in a wine chiller, and Their dinner was waiting in covered dishes. The table and floor were strewn with rose peddles and the room lit entirely with candles.

Gabby got chills dancing across every inch of her exposed flesh as they ventured to their suite. Even though she knew what awaited, it didn't stop her jaw from dropping at the gorgeous sight that greeted them. "Jack Polanari..." She sighed in awe as glowing green eyes took in every little detail before her. The warm and romantic ambiance of the room. The rose petals strewn about. Another kiss was stolen from his lips with arms thrown about his neck in a generous hug. "Jack Polanari... you are too much, my dear. And I love it." She could smell the food from the door and it smelled divine.

As her arms circled his neck he reached behind her and n zipped the little dress letting it fall down around her ankles in a heap. he had been waiting all night to see the teddy she had on, and it didn't disappoint. The was even the bonus that the tin material between her thighs was obviously soaked. "I don't know which to eat first! I guess it will be the food, but only because that will get cold and you I can keep cooking all night!" he pulled off his jacket and went to the table and uncovered the serving dishes to reveal, steak, lobster, baby asparagus, and sauteed mushroom caps. He uncorked the Champagne and poured each of them a glass. Then pulling up a comfortable chair, sat and pulled her into his lap.

The red head was none too surprised when Jack unzipped her dress. Her arousal would be no less than apparent to his watchful eye. He had her sensually smiling as he spoke of what to eat first. Gabriella was rather fond of the teddy and how it looked on her body. Over to the table they went and she was surprised to have been pulled into Jack's lap, but it was certainly something she should have seen coming. It was Gabriella's turn to have a little fun. She cut a portion of the steak and skewed it with the end of a fork and fed it to her fiance. "Enjoy..." She chimed with a sweet smile upon her lips.
