Why do you care?
Those who've either RP'd with me, discussed RPs with me or have even broached the possibility of RPing with me know one VERY fundamental thing:

I am very story-driven when it comes to the RPs in which I choose to engage.

That said, I love to come up with plot ideas along with various characters (both main and supplemental side characters) for long term stories that I can then RP with a willing writing partner. As a result, I thought it would be good to compile my plot ideas here in a plot journal. My plan is to compile the ideas that I've tried out here on site (as I have a Word Document tucked away on my laptop that has several more than what you are seeing here and no doubt there are more still yet to be created brewing in my brain on top of things) so that people can get an idea of what story ideas I create and will try and so that I can also keep my Request Thread a bit cleaner in the 'cravings' sections. I will, in fact, be cross-linking this journal to my Request Thread so that anyone who wishes to browse it can feel free to come here just as they can feel free to browse my Request Thread should they find themselves here.

So, to help guide the way a little bit (even though there is a link to my Request Thread in my signature), here is the link to my Request Thread: http://bluemoonroleplaying.com/forums/showthread.php?tid=1558

Now, onto my plots (and these are plots that are solely mine upon start up of the RP, therefore they are MINE and not any of my past writing partners' creations or collaborative creations we conjured up together, but MINE 100%)... I will subdivide my subsequent posts--and thus plots--into broad-based genres to help make it a bit easier for anyone caring to follow/read or for anyone interested in a particular plot genre. Once again, per my thread title, I request that no one post to this journal as it is for my reference. However, if anyone has any comments, do not hesitate to send me a PM. Thank you.

Post-apoc - Generic Plot Idea:

The world is no longer green, water has become scarce, creatures roam the lands feeding on anything that moves. A remote sector's resource supply is diminishing, so they need to send people out to a neighboring one to replenish their dwindling supply. A group is formed and they head out into the treacherous wastelands to make the journey to the nearest sector that has more resources than they do. On the way, the group is attacked by creatures. Everyone dies, except one girl. She is saved by a lone wanderer and it's up to him after he saves her whether or not he wants to escort her the rest of the way to where she's headed or go his own way instead.

~~~
Psychics - Modern/Urban Plot Idea:
A terrorist group made up of psychics have recently learned about a girl who can manipulate fire. Interested in gaining that power for their own uses, they seek her out for recruitment. Another group of psychics, an anti-terrorist group, also learn about this girl. They are aware the the terrorist group is after her, so it's up to them to intercede and hopefully get to her before they do. The group sends out a strong telekinetic man to retrieve her by any means possible. It's up to him to convince her to go with him and that going it alone won't do her any good because no matter what, the other group will continue to seek her out. If she won't go with him, he has no choice but to terminate her since his group won't risk losing her to the terrorists.
Riddick/OC, etc. Plot Idea:
As Lord Marshal of the Necromongers, Riddick believes he can still save Kyra if he brings her to Underverse and thus decides to remain in command and lead the group on their pilgrimage. Meanwhile, a stowaway has boarded the ship after the devastation that has occurred on Helion Prime. Vaako and the other Necromongers, once they find her, want to have her converted. Riddick, however, does not, believing that they've done enough on the planet as it is and just wanting to get to Underverse and save Kyra. Using Necromonger technology, Riddick has Kyra's body placed in a preservation chamber and sets a course for the ship to travel to Underverse. During its travels, Riddick has to contend with the unease of the Necromongers, especially Vaako, who is seeking to usurp him—the constant pressures to convert the stowaway, the odd draw the male Necromongers have toward her given the fact that she isn't one of them... yet. Plus, the Necromongers still wish to stop at planets along the way and convert more as they travel to Underverse. So, Riddick needs to decide if holding onto the possibility, since it isn't a given, that he can truly save Kyra once reaching Underverse or if other things are more important. Can he let go and move on? Will he give up leadership of the Necromongers? Will he destroy them? Will he lead them to Underverse? So many possibilities... This will also require that my partner play both Riddick and Vaako and possibly random Necromonger males. I would play the stowaway OC and Kyra, depending on how the RP goes. And I will also play Lady Vaako.
Post-apoc - Alien Annihilation Plot Idea:
It is so many generations post Earth's annihilation of a hostile alien race.... The race came from a distant planet with technology far surpassing that of Earth's, though Earth still had come far (Earth would have been set in the future, compared to our own, pre-annihilation). The aliens infiltrated and took over, dominating the planet rather easily--taking over the people, its resources, everything. Once everything was harvested or destroyed, the aliens left some of its kind behind to breed with some of the survivors of what they called 'the first wave'. The hybrid children (all male) were placed in a stasis to grow slowly over time, becoming perfect soldiers/weapons bearing the best genetics of both aliens and humans. When something goes wrong causing the aliens remaining behind to oversee things and continue studying the surviving humans to fall ill, they place the project on 'auto-pilot' so that the children will come out of stasis when the time is right (that is, when they are adults) and be instructed accordingly as to what to do for 'the second wave'. This is where the RP would officially start. It would be up to my RP partner to decide how many hybrids survive and what they look like, what powers they possess, etc. (and we can discuss this as well). I would RP a human female survivor (not a breeder... this is so NOT a breeding RP... making that clear NOW) who lives in a run down survival town that is low on resources and ready to organize a group to go out and scout for things to help sustain them.
Space Pirates Plot Idea:
I have a craving for a rather thickly detailed 1x1 with a fairly defined setting for a world I had initially created for a group RP on here. Given that, I'd like to mention that I hope for and somewhat expect for myself and my potential partner to create and write for multiple characters in this 1x1. Where things go with them and how the basic framework of the world expands from what I've initially created manage to go is up to us as we write together. I'm merely setting the initial stage and I fully expect my writing partner to add to it and encourage them to do so.
SETTING:
Galaxy - The Hera Galaxy
Main Solar System - The Lumos System. It is comprised of 12 planets. The 4 closest to the sun are often called the 'inner sanctum' and are also heavily ruled by interplanetary government known as The Illuminati. The outer 8 planets, though also ruled by The Illuminati, their rule isn't enforced and is often times overlooked entirely given their distance from the 'inner sanctum' where much of their ruling houses are located. The outer most 2 planets, known as 'barbaric rim' are the most primitive of the 12 planets and are also where outlaws tend to make their havens and homes given proximity to the 'inner sanctum' and rough terrain making it easier to hide and stay off grid to The Illuminati.
The Illuminati - It is a fanatical interplanetary government ruling the 12-planet solar system (the setting of the story). It's heaviest and most thorough rule is on the 4 planets closest to the sun, often called the 'inner sanctum'. Since the outer 8 planets are so much farther away in comparison to the 'inner sanctum', they often times let things slide to a degree as far as law though they do have representatives present on each of the planets to help keep some semblance of control. However, given that those representatives are so cut off from civilization and the 'inner sanctum' itself, they tend to turn a blind eye more often than not and to degrees that even The Illuminati themselves are hardly aware.
The Inner Sanctum - The 4 planets closest to the sun and most heavily ruled by The Illuminati. Interplanetary law is upheld entirely here and if broken, punishments are swift and harsh.
The Barbaric Rim - The outermost 2 planets of the solar system. Each planet has a set of representatives of The Illuminati, but communication between them is more or less nil. They turn a blind eye completely to all Illuminati Law thus making them almost anarchical in how they are governed. As such, both planets are overrun with outlaws and mercenaries and pirates.
The Middle 6 Planets - Each planet has a set of representatives of The Illuminati, but communication between them is not the best. Some laws are upheld and some are not and all tend to be at the discretion and mercy of the official(s) on duty/present should their intervention be needed.
The Planets - from sun to outer
Helios ~ 'inner sanctum'; highly populated; cities, etc., populated areas tend to have more daylight hours than darkness.
Themis ~ 'inner sanctum'; highly populated; cities, etc.
Hemera ~ 'inner sanctum'; moderately populated; mix of cities and rural areas, provides the 'inner sanctum' planets with a lot of produce and livestock.
Ananke ~ 'inner sanctum'; small population; primarily rural, wooded terrain filled with fearsome creatures and poisonous plants.
Dragonia ~ 'middle six'; highly populated; cities, etc, mountainous, dragon-like creatures are indigenous to the planet.
Gorgyra ~ 'middle six'; small population; the surface of the planet is mainly ash and typically cold, inhabitants tend to live underground in caves and caverns along with the creatures indigenous to the planet.
Nephelai ~ 'middle six'; moderately populated; a mix of cities and rural areas, provides the 'middle six' planets with a lot of produce and livestock.
Thalassa ~ 'middle six'; moderately populated; has cities located both underwater and above water since most of the planet is made up of water.
Lamia ~ 'middle six'; small population; populated areas tend to have more darkness than daylight hours; home to creatures that seem to have a taste for blood, towns have fortified walls built around them.
Erebos ~ 'middle six'; small population; predominantly an ashy wasteland with pockets of civilization.
Acheron ~ 'barbaric rim'; small population, piracy runs rampant just as it does on a few of the 'middle six' planets, harsher terrain.
Charon ~ 'barbaric rim'; small population, piracy runs rampant just as it does on a few of the 'middle six' planets, harsher terrain.
**
BACKDROP STORY:
The Illuminati rules the 'inner sanctum' with an iron fist, however the 'barbaric rim' is more or less free even though it technically falls under their governing rule. Twelve planets in all are governed by this fanatical group, yet space piracy runs rampant in the 'barbaric rim' and is slowly spreading into the 'middle six'. There is definite dislike of The Illuminati amongst many of the planets not a part of the 'inner sanctum', wishing to break away from the fanaticism and wanting to overthrow them entirely throwing the entire solar system into discord. This would cause unrest for a time, but allow for the rise of an eventual new leader or group to take their place, one who hopefully has a better future in mind for everyone.
The planets of the system are each unique, some of which carry terrors and horrors that only those who dare take the time to visit them will ever experience and face. Other planets are lush and beautiful, scenic to behold and a joy to visit again and again. Couple this with a fanatic ruling power and their representative officials based on each planet and the outlaws that roam the black of space and you have a niche within the Hera Galaxy in which this story unfolds.
**This also has a separate plot journal for RPs that had been taking place within a tweaked/modified version of this idea of mine -- http://bluemoonroleplaying.com/forums/showthread.php?tid=44821**
Futuristic Dystopia Plot Idea:
The year is 2525 and Earth is no longer how we know it today. The air is thickly polluted, the sky scorched due to one experiment too many. The streets are riddled with crime and the world sectioned off into districts--a true dystopic society where the people strive toward technological advances only to fail miserably, causing the planet and all of society to plummet further into the depths of despair. Encampments have sprung up--places located outside the districts (even outside the poorer ones, typically barricaded and heavily guarded upon exit/entry). In there are those who have literally nothing, not fitting into society in any way, shape or form. Most residing there are 'failed experiments', some are runaways that have gone 'off grid' and have no means of standard identification, while others are thrown in via the 'lottery' system. But all are a slave to the system meant to serve it eventually as war is imminent between Earth and an alien race seeking to make Earth its own.
As the RP starts, I would play a female character residing in one of the encampments. She would be a 'failed experiment' and thus have some mental issues and quite obviously some trust issues. She's terrified of her fate and, more than anything, wishes to somehow get out of the encampment or… if unsuccessful/unable to do so… wishes to die. My writing partner would play a male character. This character could also reside in the encampment or even be someone overseeing the sector, could be a guard, etc. Possibilities are quite numerous. But, in other words, it would be up to my writing partner as to what their character would be. Also, how the plot develops from the back drop is between myself and my writing partner. My hope is that this would become a long term RP with a lot of plot, romance and many other things. I would also love for filler characters to enter the mix.
Fremen/OC - Dune Plot Idea:
BASED ON KNOWLEDGE FROM THE 2 MINISERIES BY SCIFI CHANNEL AND FROM READING THE FIRST DUNE BOOK ONLY (just for reference).
Though Ghanima Atreides weds her twin brother, Leto II, she and Farad'n Corrino mate, thus joining two noble houses and bearing heirs to the great Empire and legacy on Arrakis. Ghanima bore Farad'n four sons and one daughter, the daughter who was hidden away from prying eyes for fear that she'd be targeted by far too many harboring jealousies and hatred toward House Atreides--Bene Gesserits, the Spacing Guild, others from various noble houses, etc. Princess Irulan, much like she'd done with Ghanima for Chani, promised Ghani to watch over her daughter until her final breath left her body and her water was no longer hers. Unfortunately, their daughter being hidden away, didn't truly keep her an unknown--being Atreides and a direct descendent of Ghanima, a pre-born, she is not hidden from prescience views. Eventually, her existence was learned and with that learning came attacks. In an attempt to help save her daughter, Ghanima calls upon the trusted Fremen to take her daughter out into the deep desert, to hide her away and keep her safe from those who wish her death.
My character is Ghanima's daughter and your character is a Fremen from the deep desert. He will have to teach my character the ways of the Fremen since she only knows those of nobility and a little of the Bene Gesserit having been hidden away for her entire life. She will have to face the perils of the desert, the fact that many want her dead and that her life will now be forever altered.
Mercenary/Priestess - Medieval Plot Idea:
A priestess of the Girion Order must make the pilgrimage from the city of Girios to the city of Seras (the deity Girio's most sacred city). Fearful of the journey, the priestess reflects on her situation to help prepare her for what she must do to become a full-fledged priestess of her order. When she finally leaves, she's excited about the adventure it will bring her, though she is very naive of the outside world. On the way to Seras, the priestess and her entourage are attacked by a group of marauders. The entire entourage is either killed or has fled and the only one left is the priestess herself. The marauders kidnap her, but among them there is one man who has a sense of honor. He ends up freeing the priestess and then must decide whether to escort her the rest of the way to Seras or not.
Dragon Riders - Medieval Plot Idea:
War riddles the lands between the neighboring countries of Azur and Pheir. Their front linemen are dragon riders. So it’s become custom that every five years a lottery is drawn to see who will be the next in line for training to be a dragon rider. The people chosen to be in the lottery have always been common folk or those with great fighting skills, though the king vows that everyone, male or female, regardless of race, creed or social class, is placed in the lottery. Wanting to do something to help in the war for her country and knowing full well that her father has never once placed her name in the lottery, the princess of Azur secretly places her name in for the next drawing. Her name is chosen and this greatly upsets her father. He demands a re-draw, but it only causes an uproar. The princess tells her father that she wants to be trained as a dragon rider, that she’s tired of sitting in a corner as a mere ornament while everyone else contributes in some way. So, the princess is brought to the dragon riders of Azur and her training begins. Her trainer is a brooding fellow who is far from happy at having to train the princess. Wanting to make an example of her, he treats her much more harshly than any other rider he’s trained. Slowly, he realizes her potential and with that potential he begins to see her in a different way. A way he never thought possible.
Time Travel/Fae - Modern to Celtic/Medieval Plot Idea:
A spunky and rather opinionated girl has a friend who works in one of the local museums. His dream is to one day become a curator. The guy invites the girl to see the museum he works at, hoping that the two of them will hook up. The girl is clueless about her friend’s intentions. As they look through various artifacts, the girl finds a strange box wrapped in what looks like velvet. Curious, she opens the box and finds a dagger inside. The moment her fingers touch the weapon, she is transported through time and literally falls into the lap of a Celtic warrior man during the medieval times. The dagger turns out to be an object cursed by the fae and belongs to the warrior’s bloodline. The legend went that the dagger would bring bad luck to the warrior’s family until they found a way to break the curse upon it. At first, the thought is to kill the girl since she’s seen as a harbinger of bad luck. But the warrior can’t bring himself to kill a woman, especially one so confused and who has no idea of what’s going on. Eventually, he softens towards her and together they must find out how to break the curse of the fae and thus end the bad luck that’s meant to follow the warrior and his bloodline.
Demon/Necromancer (have done this for Medieval and Steampunk) Plot Idea:
A novice necromancer, studying at Twilight Keep deep in the forests of Ashwood, was bullied by a rival who thought her to be too weak to be studying with the rest of them. In trying to prove her worth, she performs a spell she's not quite ready to perform and ends up accidentally summoning a demon (is human in appearance, but with a few typical demon traits that can be manifested depending on the situation). The demon is outraged by being summoned and demands to be sent back. When he learns that the girl who summoned him is unable to do this, he is greatly angered to the point where he wants her blood to spill. The only thing holding him back is that he needs her to the resending since she did the original summoning. The demon therefore has no choice but to help the necromancer girl learn how to do the resending, something that angers him even more. The demon secretly vows to spill her blood in the moments before the spell finishes being cast, so that when he returns to his world he will have had his vengeance. As the demon and necromancer work together, the demon must decide if he truly wants to go back and if he does, whether or not he will follow through with the vengeance he feels is owed to him.
Criminal/Noblewoman - Medieval Plot Idea:
A convicted criminal escapes his dungeon prison after being held there for five years. He is ruthless, cruel and very bitter. After he manages to miraculously escape, he is unfortunately recognized by someone. As a result, he ends up having to take a noblewoman hostage in order to get away and avoid being recaptured. Due to who the noblewoman is, the guards let him go. The noblewoman is the daughter of a lord who's desire it is to climb the social ladder and gain more power and wealth. He has plans for his daughter to marry one of the men of the king's royal court, a ghastly evil man who has a lot of influence at court. The daughter, however, is kidnapped by the criminal before wedding plans can be made, which angers her father greatly. The criminal is cruel to the girl, showing her the darkness that's deep within his soul. As the two travel together, the criminal gets to know the girl and gain a sort of respect for her. As their relationship develops, the criminal may choose to let her go or have her stay with him. Regardless, she must come to accept the man he is, one who is still cruel and ruthless to others, she being his only exception.
Shapeshifter or Were or Forest Dweller/Peasant girl - Medieval Plot Idea:
A commoner girl gets lost in the woods during the twilight hours and is nearly attacked by a lone wolf. She is saved by someone unknown; someone she couldn’t see due to the oncoming darkness of the sky and the darkness of the woods. The only thing she could tell was that the someone was large. But for some reason she doesn’t think that the someone was quite human. The way he fought the wolf and kept himself hidden from her, not to mention fled the scene after he won the battle, made her wonder. After being saved, the girl finds her way out of the woods, though she’s secretly led out by the someone who saved her, only she doesn’t realize it at the time. This someone is a werewolf. The werewolf follows her home and takes a liking to her. In the morning, a strange man comes by the girl’s home and asks if there’s a chance he could be hired for work on her family’s farm. The man is hired and immediately has his sights set on the girl. At first the girl is somewhat intimidated by the man, but over time, that changes. And over time she learns his secret – that he’s the werewolf who saved her. Werewolves are considered demonic beings, so the man needs to keep his alternate identity secret. And he needs to keep his relationship with the girl a secret as well for both of their protection. Another hired hand somehow finds out about the man’s werewolf identity and the secret relationship that he and the girl have. So, they must find a way to silence the person without drawing too much attention to themselves. Will the man stay or leave? Will he take the girl with him? Will he be killed? Or will they find a way to quiet the person who knows about the werewolf on the farm? Only time will tell.
Shapeshifter/human - Modern/Urban Plot Idea:
There are two rival factions of shapeshifters, the cats and the wolves. Their war is secret to the humans that some, though very few, of them choose to intermingle with as if they too were human. They mainly do this in order to keep tabs on the humans most of them hate and distrust - to learn about their technology, better understand their nature and make sure that they don't accidentally get involved in the secret war going on amongst themselves. In general, shapeshifters find the actions and behaviors of humans to often be self-serving, not to mention destructive. Never for the greater good of their families (or, as they'd call it, their pack). One evening, a girl with a passion for digital photography, decides to go venture into the woods not too far away from her apartment so that she can add pictures to her portfolio. She accidentally stumbles into something she never knew to be possible. She sees a cat shapeshift into a man after fighting off a wolf. The man notices her and has no choice but to take her into his pack if he's to keep the secret of his kind, along with their war, under wraps.
Viking/Peasant girl - Medieval Plot Idea:
A coastal village is invaded by a group of Viking-like warriors. The men loot and pillage the town, murdering the men, raping most of the women. A girl is captured by one of the warriors and brought on board their ship. He, along with several of his fellow warriors, plans on having fun with her during the long voyage to the next village before finally heading back to their homeland. One of the warriors, the strongest of the bunch (though not the leader), doesn’t like the plans his fellow warriors have for the girl. So, he claims her for himself, making it appear that his plan is to take what he wants from her without sharing with anyone else. Given his status, the other warriors let him have his way. To keep up the façade during their journey at sea, the warrior is rather cruel to the girl, though he physically doesn’t touch her or harm her. Eventually, he softens towards the girl and finds himself very attracted to her. The warrior knows that when they finally reach his homeland, he’ll have to give her up since she was supposed to only be entertainment during the voyage at sea. He must decide whether to escape with her, be it while still at sea or after they reach his homeland or to let her face her fate and give her up once back home.
Priestess' Pilgrimage/Journey - Medieval Plot Idea:
Firstly, this does not have an exact set plot, but a set faith for a priestess character that will be of my own creation. The priestess I create and the character to eventually accompany her (along with their story) is up in the air and something I'd like to discuss with my potential writing partner. Even some of the ideas I have for the faith I've devised for my priestess can be tweaked to a degree if it will help fit things together properly assuming I find someone I mesh with on multiple levels for a wonderful story, however I do see this story having a more fantasy-ish setting. Though even that is negotiable depending on how things are discussed, etc.
That said, the faith I've devised for my potential priestess character:
The Fayth Of The Trine
Kato - Goddess of Death and Rebirth
Lunaria - Goddess of the Moon and Stars
Ember - Goddess of Dawn and Fertility
Taken together they form a triad known as the Sisters Trine, a single Holy entity that can take on three faces at will or when appropriate. When joined as one they are singly known as Brigantia, Goddess of Light and Fire.
The faith, often referred to as 'fayth', of the Trine is highly female oriented. It is followed by males and females alike, but those who rule the temples and seek to spread the word of this 'fayth' in the name of the Goddesses are more often female than not and a male will never achieve the rank of High Priest as it will always be a High Priestess serving in such a position in the name of the Goddesses.
Most would-be priestesses who are to be trained in such lifestyles are offered up to the Trines as infants and then raised in their ways through childhood and up through adolescence. Some are given up while still young while others hear the calling and seek training. None are turned away except under certain circumstances where those residing in the temples fear that such people might cause a rift or disturbance within the 'fayth' itself or its people.
The Trines believe that the female is to be held in high regard, though that it still cannot function wholly and completely without the male counterpart. But since there are many faiths that hold the male gods of the pantheon in high regard, the Trines focus their attention specifically on Brigantia and her three 'faces'--aspects of the female, as well as of life through the eyes of the female, that they feel should be understood to higher levels than others. As such, they spend their time delving into understanding the natural course life and death, fertility and birth, the effects of the moon and various cycles (this includes those of females). After much study, novices are to embark on pilgrimages to better understand themselves as a woman and their role as a woman in the world. For as a woman, they are not just priestess, but they could be lover, mother, healer, destroyer or any mix of those faces. The key is determining which face or faces they bear and to one day return with that understanding so as to better serve Brigantia and the Sisters Trine.
The past of my priestess is still 'to be determined' as is her future and the fundamental 'why' of her pilgrimage. There is a lot of room for plot discussion, however my priestess will be a sub and/or have submissive leanings so please keep that in mind.
HORROR
❣❣subgenres include: modern/urban❣❣
Hitchhiker - Modern/Urban Plot Idea:
One night while driving cross country to make a delivery, a typically loner-sort trucker happens to pass a hitchhiker. For some reason, he actually decides to stop and pick her up. The girl seems odd to him at first, yet very alluring and it’s clear she’s hiding something. It turns out that she is being pursued by a sociopathic ex of hers who’s plan is to murder her as brutally as possible. She’d managed to escape her ex once, but is terrified that she won’t be able to do so again. When the trucker learns of the girl’s situation he has to decide whether or not he wants to help her or leave her to her own fate since it’s none of his business.
Serial Killer - Modern/Urban Plot Idea:
What happens when a serial killer finds his next target, but as he gets close to her… he suddenly finds himself falling for her, creating chaos as far as his plans go and causing him the need to find a new target to kill instead? What happens if, despite falling for his victim, he also cannot change--whether he wants to or not--the sort of man he is (ie, being a serial killer)? Can the woman this killer now loves handle learning the truth? Can she accept him for who he is? What is more… what sort of future does a couple have in store if, for one of them, a killer is forever a killer? Possibilities and outcomes are endless as are the obstacles they might encounter along the way. But the things that will forever 'be' and must be determined--can both accept the other for who they are and will the want to understand ever grow strong enough to affect the other and thus their actions. Potentially… "true love knows no bounds" and "it's amazing what you will suddenly find yourself doing for someone you love."
For this particular RP, my main character would be the targeted victim while yours would be the serial killer. There are SEVERAL ways this could go and they are up for discussion between myself and my writing partner. Also, time era is up for discussion as well since I think this could be tweaked for anything from modern to historical to even something in the future if we were so inclined. I also think there's room for filler characters if my partner is willing to add them to enhance the plot, etc. A final note--this is NOT a non-con RP. Not even remotely, so do not ask for it to be one and do not expect it to be one either. Thanks.
HISTORIC
Pirates - Age of Exploration Plot Idea:
A girl with a bit of a longing to travel lives in a rich island colony somewhere in the South Atlantic. She comes from a relatively wealthy family, however her mother has died and her father is ailing to the point of dying. Her brother is the heir of the family, but isn't the best of men. He is impulsive, making poor decisions among other things. He is a womanizer, frolicking about with whores and eying many a noble woman... including his own sister. Wanting to get away from her brother, especially since it is inevitable that her father cannot aid her and won't live much longer, she sets off to run away and leave everything behind in hopes to see the world and get as far away from her brother as is possible. Disguising herself as a boy, she unknowingly boards a pirate ship that is anchored in the island's harbor, thinking it the perfect plan to escape her life and to go unnoticed by the ship's captain and crew.
This can be played out many ways. Who figures out her secret? And how will that foster their relationship? Will the secret be kept or told or will something else transpire? All of this is up for discussion, just no traditional non-con. Thanks.
Off-Worlder Meets Exiled - SciFi/Fantasy Plot Idea:
The planet Fuin is a world of fantasy, one still set in the era of the Middle Ages and one where the beasts and creatures fall in the realm of the mythical and fantastical. Intelligent life resembles that of humans along with elves and even shapeshifters, though shifters are rare and often go unseen due to their being feared. On this dual moon planet, nestled at the base of the Calder Mountains, is also a small human village--Eire. They live humble and superstitious lives isolated away from most others, thus casting out any and all who do not fit the mold of what they understand.
My character is an apprenticed healer from the village of Eire who eventually finds herself outcast by her people due to her special and misunderstood gifts (her ability to understand/speak to animals) and is thus wanted for death. Yours is an off-worlder (can be human from another planet or an alien from another planet) who crash lands on Fuin. Together they must fend off the ever pursuing townsfolk from Eire while they are near the Calder Mountains. This part alone can be fairly in depth, but the adventures needn't stop there. The two can explore more of Fuin and venture into other areas or even travel off planet if they are able to fix the off-worlder's ship.
Cyberpunk + Supernatural Plot Idea:
The plot for this RP is to be entirely based around a character I've created for myself, however... how it unfolds and what occurs is also entirely up in the air. There are a few things that are set as far as the back drop goes (and that is inferred in my character's bio), but the rest is free for discussion between myself and my writing partner, whoever that might be. The character my writing partner might create could be a supernatural being (ie, vampire, werewolf, etc) or a regular human being. That is entirely up to them. Though before deciding, this is the character I will CERTAINLY be using:
Name-
Starla McClintock
Species-
Human
Age-
23
Gender-
Female
Sexuality-
Straight, submissive
Appearance-
Starla stands at approximately 5'3". She has a slim/medium build with accentuated hips and B-cup breasts. Her hair is dark and wavy, falling to about mid-back. Her eyes are blue, her skin very pale. She also has tattoos along her lower back and on the back of her neck along with tribal bands around the bicep of her left arm.
Personality-
Starla is a quiet girl and very shy most of the time. She'll only assert herself when the situation calls for it or if she has to defend herself. This is mostly a result of how she was raised, her older brother, Chris, protecting and shielding her from whatever he could.
Skills/Abilities-
Starla is trying to teach herself how to better use a knife. It is slow going without anyone to properly train her, but she's determined and tries very hard. What little knowledge and training she has, she'd gotten from her brother, Chris, prior to his sudden death. Unfortunately, it wasn't very much.
Starla is also a dancer. She had a natural ability and love for the art, so Chris saw to it that she had the chance to study. In the 5 or 6 years she studied dance, she actually did very well, advancing fairly quickly despite her later start. Being a dancer gave her the abilities of being fairly coordinated and limber.
Notable Strengths-
Patience, determination, the fact that she's decently limber, coordinated and fairly quick on her feet. She is also a quick learner.
Notable Weaknesses-
Starla is a total novice when it comes to fighting of any kind. Also, for some reason, her blood has a tendency to lure vampires.
History-
Starla and her older brother, Chris (both from the city of Yorkton), lost their parents at a fairly young age. Immediately, they were placed in foster care moving from home to home every couple years. One family showed a great interest in possibly adopting the two when Chris had finally turned 18 and being in foster care wasn't required for him. Unfortunately, the would be father also showed great interest in Starla and several times attempted to molest and rape her. Each time she was saved by her brother. Upset at the treatment of his sister coupled with the fact that he was at the age where he could be independent of his foster family, he lashed out at their would be father and threatened to leave, taking his sister with him. Unfortunately, the would be father didn't seem to care. Instead, he threw Chris out onto the streets and kept Starla in their home.
Terrified for his sister, Chris made it his mission to find a way to support both himself and his sister, Starla. One day he'd be back for her. A month later, he came back and took her away from the abusive would be father. When they left, the man had died in a way that left the authorities totally puzzled. It was clear that no human being could do what had been done for the man appeared to have been mauled by some sort of large animal. Charges were never pressed and both Chris and Starla were left alone since the wife sympathized with the two knowing the sort of man her husband had been.
While away, Chris had been initiated into a gang known as The Defenders. This was something he never told Starla, not until just before his death when he seemed to have a suspicion that something was going to happen to him and he left her an odd note saying: "Defenders protect all. Defenders protect Starla." Somehow she knew it meant he had ties to the gang, a gang notorious for having affiliations with the occult and black magics. Though knowing her brother was somehow connected to them, she was certain that the media had things wrong when it came to the gang since she cannot fathom her brother being a part of anything purposefully 'bad'. However, the entire connection left her confused and a bit unsettled.
Prior to his death, Chris tried several times to teach Starla how to fight and defend herself, how to handle a knife. At the time, she wasn't very interested and found the training to be a waste of time. As a result, he wasn't able to teach her much. But he did manage to teach her enough to have the fundamental basics down. After her brother died and things slowly started to become clear, Starla realized she was stupid not to have listened to her brother who had been trying to protect her all her years of life.
After Chris died, Starla fell into a small bout of depression. Thankfully, he'd left her a decent sum of money in the bank so that she wouldn't be without in case something happened to him. Once she'd gotten herself together, she got a job waitressing so that she'd maintain a steady income so as to continue to afford the modest apartment she and her brother had shared.
Two years after Chris's death, Starla started noticing things. Things that made her quirk a brow and start to really ponder the message on the note Chris had left her. At the time of first reading it, she knew he'd had connections with the Defenders. But since she'd been too distraught over losing her brother and worrying about how to survive without him, she didn't really pursue it. Later, however, once everything had settled and she'd become stable both financially and emotionally, her thoughts turned to such things and she knew she needed to find out what exactly had happened. Plus, odd occurrences started happening around her that made her wonder. Shadows moving and lurking in dark corners, eyes that seemed to be watching her. At first she thought it might be paranoia, but something deep inside her told her otherwise.
One night, when walking home from work, Starla heard odd sounds coming from a dark alley. It was then that she'd witnessed what could only be explained as an attack by a vampire. Luckily, for her, the vampire hadn't noticed her. He'd been too busy feeding on his victim. But it was then that she knew supernatural beings truly did exist. And that, some way, somehow, the Defenders and thus her brother, had to be connected to them as well.
Equipment-
Starla carries a basic hunting knife on her hip at nearly all times since the death of her older brother, Chris, 2 years prior. Though she carries the weapon around, she's not very good at wielding it. What little she knows of knife handling and fighting, she learned from Chris before he died.
Goals-
Starla's main goal is to find out how her brother, Chris, was connected to the gang known as The Defenders. She also wants to find out who killed him and why.
Miscellaneous-
Starla is submissive. Her turn ons include light bondage, minor pain, bloodplay, knifeplay, oral (giving, receiving), being bitten and scratched, being marked. She also enjoys being close, having her hair caressed and words of assurance whispered in her ear. She isn't the sort to sleep around or submit to just anyone (having a bit of a fiery, feisty streak despite her quiet and shy demeanor). She is a one man sort of girl and hasn't found him yet.
