Jason has just gone through a rough week. About a week ago, he caught his girlfriend cheating on him, and after the breakup, he's been sulking since. Friends came by from time to time to see how he was doing and to try and cheer him up, but nothing was able to really help him get over the pain. He found the cheating bitch with another guy at her apartment when he tried to surprise her with an anniversary gift, and he spent a good bit of money buying her jewelry. After that, he spent the whole week in his home, just depressed about everything.

Finally deciding to go out and get some fresh air, he got dressed and went out for a walk around the apartment complex he lived in. Maybe he'll see a familiar face or two. It was nice seeing his friends, but the people he saw around the apartment were a little more like family to him, making it a little more meaningful when he talked to them.

Ever since he was a little boy, he's lived in this complex with his family. Oddly enough, a lot of the residents happened to be female, but that didn't stop him from getting along with a lot of them. As a child, he was friends with the ones that were around his age, and some of the older residents even took care of him from time to time. Even the landlord use to be good parents with his mother when they still lived in the complex. It really helped him get a good deal when his parents decided to move away and he wanted to stay behind. This place was his home, and he didn't want to leave, and it was conveniently close to the university he went to. Just a bus ride away from school, and there were plenty of things to do within walking distance. He wanted to stay and the landlord helped him get a good deal on a smaller apartment for him to live in.

Feeling the warm weather, he felt a little bit refreshed, at least glad to be finally out of his room. He hoped he would run into someone though.

Sarah woke up at about nine AM that morning. She moved into the apartment in the complex about a week ago, and had spent a lot of time moving furniture to achieve 'harmony' in her new home. If she wasn't comfortable with the locations the furniture was placed, she usually got really stressed out and felt straight out uncomfortable in the room. Now however, she felt that the apartment was like she wanted it to. The apartment itself was medium-sized, but the main thing she liked about it was the view. The apartment had a small veranda with view to the unseen horizon long out in the sea. However, the clock was ticking, and she had to get to work.

Sarah left her new apartment and locked the door after her. After this, she started to walk down the stairs in a fast pace. The camera around her neck was swinging from side to side as she ran, not wanting to be too late for her first day at her new job. Due to moving and all, Sarah had to quit her old job. Now, she got a job as a photographer that she gladly accepted. Until now, photographing had only been a hobby. That she would be able to do it as a job was great! As long as she didn't lose it at once for being late that is. She stepped two steps at a time to get down faster. Without thinking, she acidently bumped into Jason and fell over him, landing in a way that made her face about one inch away from his face. A thin blush started to grow on her cheeks.

Meanwhile, on the top floor of the complex, a young woman named Lana was standing on the balcony, looking over the flow of cars going in every direction. It was a rather boring morning with nothing happening. Every once in a while, there was a crash somewhere. That was about as exciting the view used to be. Every once in a while, someone got robbed or something like that, but it was usually rather quiet. In other words, boring. Her mother, the previous landlord, decided to retire, she got the position pushed on to her. The only thing she liked about the job was the lack of work that actually had to be done. Some paperwork each month, but that was about it. Lana didn't really know many of the inhabitants of the block as it was her mother that used to socialize with the people that lived there, not Lana herself. Lana remained looking out over the city, considering to just grab a beer and drink it there and then. However, if she would have to drive later that day, it could become problematic.

Jason continued walking until he felt something hit him, and before he knew it, he was on the ground and hit his head. "Ow, damn that hurt." The moment he looked up, he was face to face with a pretty, but somewhat familiar, girl. "Oh, uh, hello." He began to blush as well. She was extremely cute, but he couldn't quite figure out where he's seen her before. Sliding out from underneath her, he quickly jumped up and then went to help up the girl. Maybe they had a class together, or maybe they had a conversation somewhere. She could just be someone he saw before and caught his eye. Quickly realizing that he must've looked awkward staring at her, trying to figure out who she was, he decided to introduce himself. "Sorry about that, I should've moved out of the way. I'm Jason by the way, are you new here?" Though he felt like her saw her before, it probably wasn't around the complex. Maybe she's the person that moved in recently.
