Consequence Of Choice (Nekrosilisk88 & darkangel76)

Elana bit down on her lip, her eyes fixed to Asrath’s, her legs spreading wide for him as he readied himself to enter her. She nodded in understanding of his words, she’d heard of such things, but found that she didn’t care. She knew in the end the pain would be worth it. Especially if it meant that she could be closer to Asrath.

Closing her eyes, Elana whispered, “It’s all right.” Readying herself for what was about to happen, she arched her body upward, her breasts pressing into his chest, trying to relax as much as possible. The feel of his arousal rubbing at her core nearly undid her. She could feel the ache, the need. It was growing. “Please,” she suddenly said, her voice almost begging for him to fill her up.

Elana’s hands gently caressed Asrath’s back as she opened her eyes once again. She fixed them to his, not blinking once, as she waited for him to finally take her.

Asrath nodded and placed his hands on her hips. He slowly pushed into her till his full length was in her. As he did so, he clamped his mouth over hers, to muffle any noise she might make. He didn't want anyone coming up to check on them. Once he'd pushed all the way in, he began to pull out again, stopping just as his head was about come out, before starting in again. He did so slowly at first, but began to pick up speed as they progressed along, enjoying the feeling of her virgin pussy against his cock.

Elana let out a gasp and then held her breath as she felt Asrath begin to enter her. Gently and slowly he pushed, further and further. Her muscles stretched, trying to accommodate him. But it was all so new and strange. They weren’t used to such an invasion, to being worked in such a way. She finally released her breath, a small whimper of pain barely escaping her lips as Asrath locked his mouth against her own. He continued to push ever so slowly until he finally filled her up completely.

Elana was able to feel when Asrath was fully inside her. Despite the pain, she was happy. Something deep inside her suddenly felt complete. Slowly, gently he pulled out of her once again. Strangely, she felt a sense of loss as she felt her muscles relax. But then he pushed into her again, once more filling her up. Again, the pain.

Elana closed her eyes, letting her body relax, letting it get used to Asrath’s size as he filled her. She bit down on her lip and let her hands caress his back, play with his hair. She focused on being with him, how wonderful his weight was on top of her, how wonderful it was to be in his arms. After several more moments, the pain began to subside. As it did, Elana’s hips slowly began to move in time with Asrath’s. Her hips meeting his with each thrust.

As Elana began to buck her hips faster, she felt something strange happening to her body. The ache she felt between her legs intensified, it began to throb steadily. She could feel her skin break out into goosebumps, her muscles tensing. Asrath’s mouth was still locked onto hers, so she began to kiss him back, nibbling on his lower lip. His thrusts quickened, which only made her pant. She clutched onto him tightly as she felt the heat within her throbbing sex grow more and more. The sensations were unlike anything she’d ever felt.

Moans escaped Elana’s lips through her kisses to Asrath. Her body now writhing underneath his own. She could feel the pressure, the intensity rising within her core. She had no idea what was happening, everything was spinning, everything was swirling. Suddenly, a wave of the most intense pleasure she’d ever experienced washed over. Her entire body shook, trembled uncontrollably and she couldn’t help but shout out.

Asrath grunted as he continued thrusting into and out of her. He felt her body reacting to him , clutching as pushed in, relaxing as pulled out. She felt different from the odd whore he'd been with in the past. Unlike them, she truly wanted this, and it made all the difference in the sex. Every caress of her hand, the sound of her, and the feel of her hips bucking against him told him she was receiving pleasure, and wanting more of him.

As she touched him, he realized how much better this was. Every touch increased his own pleasure, and made it harder for him to hold out. He felt her begin to chew gently on his lip as she kissed him. He could feel her nearing her climax. he was ready for her when it happened. As her body shuddered, and she began to scream in pleasure, he clamped his mouth down over hers again, muffling the sound. As he did so, he thrust inside her one more time spilling his seed in her, and laying flat against her for a moment as his manhood softened. He pulled out of her, an rolled to the side, before sitting up to finish removing his pants and his boots. Completely naked now, he laid there beside her smiling, his hand gently brushing along her stomach as he pulled her close to him.

As Elana’s body began to shake, giving in to the climax trying to take over her body, she felt her muscles clenching so tightly around Asrath’s thrusting member. All the pain she’d initially felt was gone, washed away as ecstasy consumed her, swallowing her whole. Her muscles pulsed, hard, around him. Again and again and again. It was unbelievable.

Elana could feel Asrath thrust a few more times before he pushed himself as deeply as he could inside her, releasing himself, his mouth still clamped down on her own. Finally, she felt her body begin to relax, Asrath’s as well, as her orgasm settled down and radiated throughout her entire body. Asrath laid on top of her, his breathing heavy in her ear. The sound of it made her smile. And the way she felt inside and out? There were no words. The only word that came to her mind – complete.

Asrath then rolled off of Elana, sliding his pants and boots off the rest of the way as he did so. Elana missed his weight already, the feel of his skin against hers, the way it slipped and slid as they made love. He moved onto his side, a smile on his face. A smile that made her feel so warm inside, a smile she hoped was just for her. Gently he placed his hand on her stomach, rubbing it a little before he pulled her close.

Elana let out a contented sigh as she nuzzled against Asrath’s chest, relishing the feel of being held tightly in his arms. It was the most wondrous thing she had ever experienced, had ever dared to do. She even found her mind wondering when it could happen again. But for now, she wanted to just soak everything in. What she’d done. She didn’t care that it meant she couldn’t go back to her order. She didn’t want to anyway. She knew that deep in her heart, she had known that. Though she was still terrified about the choice she’d made. What it would mean for her future. But despite the fear and the worries, she had no regrets. And in a way she was glad that somehow fate had made her wait until she met Asrath.

Elana twisted, while in Asrath’s arms, so that she could face him, could look into his eyes. She smiled at him, her gray eyes teary over what had happened. But they weren’t tears of sadness or pain or regret. They were tears of happiness, elation. She kissed his chest, her eyes catching the strange markings on it, though she chose not to ask him about those… for now. That could wait for later. She brought her hands up and gently stroked his chest, her fingers tracing some of the scars she saw. He had so many scars. Again, she looked into his eyes and smiled and then went to kiss his neck a little before she hugged him tightly. More tears formed in her eyes, only these spilled down her cheeks. The moment she’d just shared with Asrath had truly meant something to her. She hoped that it had for him as well. Wanting to hold onto the moment, she buried her face against his chest, her arms wrapped around him, her body pressed close to his.

“I had no idea,” Elana whispered against Asrath’s chest. “I had no idea of the beauty I’d been missing.”

Asrath smiled as he held her. The feel of her skin against him was wondrous, her touch like a drug. He kissed her gently and combed his hands through her hair as she turned to face him. Her hands coursed over his body, and he could feel himself becoming aroused again just from the touch of her soft hands.

“I had no idea,” he whispered into his chest. “I had no idea of the beauty I’d been missing.” He nodded and wiped the tears from her eyes.

He tilted her head up to look at her beautiful face. "Neither did I." He kissed her again, slipping his tongue into her mouth, as his penis rose, brushing against her leg. His eyes closed. He savored the taste of her, the feel of her soft skin and hair. He was lost to everything else. Just having her even it was only for tonight was enough.

Elana smiled as Asrath kissed her again. Everything just felt so right all of a sudden, so perfect. It was as if she’d stepped into a dream. She hoped she’d never wake up. All fears and worries were cast aside for others to dwell on, not for her nor for Asrath to deal with. For once.

The feel of Asrath’s hands on Elana’s body made her shiver. She sighed at how good it felt to be touched so tenderly. To be touched by him. And to think that only a few days ago, she was frightened of this man. Had seen him as only a cold and ruthless killer. A swordsman with no soul, a mercenary. Oh how wrong that first impression had been. Because there beside her she now saw a great man. One with a soul that was as beautiful as he was on the outside. One with a belief, a conviction to travel the path he thought best. The only person in the world who had ever made her question anything, made her truly face the person she was inside. She admired him. She cared for him.

Elana kissed Asrath back as his lips moved over hers, their tongues dancing together in such a way that it made her body go limp. She let out another sigh as she brought her arms around his shoulders, tangling her hands deep within his sandy hair.

As their bodies pressed together, embracing, kissing, Elana could feel that Asrath was aroused again. She smiled a little, paying attention to her own body’s reactions. The tingles she felt all over her skin, the way her sex started to ache again, they way her nipples stood at attention. It was utterly amazing. She broke their kiss so that she could kiss her way along his cheek and to his ear. She sucked on his earlobe a little and then gently nibbled along his neck to his collar bone. His skin tasted so good on her tongue. She couldn’t get enough of him.

Elana brought her hands along Asrath’s back, caressing it, tracing the scars she felt as her fingertips moved over them ever so gently. She then raised her one leg and draped it over his, he one hand moving downwards along his back until it reached his backside. She gave him a small squeeze and pushed him closer, encouraging him that it was all right to take her once more. She truly wanted her night with Asrath to never end. It was too beautiful in her eyes, meant too much. More tears welled in her eyes. Tears of joy.

“Take me again, Asrath,” Elana whispered.

Asrath chuckled, and pulled the bedding over them, readying himself for a long night with her as he sheathed himself in her body once more. He enjoyed her body, and her caress, for now that was enough. He shared his passion with her till he was spent, and he fell asleep beside, the warmth of her comforting him , a sleepy smile on his face.

Elana had never felt so wonderful. Her entire body felt like it was radiating happiness. She and Asrath had made love most of the night, each time better than the one before. Each time the pain less and less until it finally no longer hurt.

Once their bodies were spent, Elana nuzzled against Asrath’s chest. She let her fingers get themselves tangled in his hair and she played with it while she softly hummed. Everything was so perfect and she loved being in Asrath’s arms. Eventually, she found herself drifting off to sleep.

Elana’s dreams were vivid, mostly reliving her moments with Asrath as they made love. But they took a turn. Suddenly, they were in Seras. She was cast out of her order, shunned for the choice she’d made to be with Asrath, refused the money needed to then pay him for escorting her from Girios to Seras. Asrath had said he’d kill her if she couldn’t pay him his fee. As her dream continued, Asrath suddenly approached her with his sword, holding it up to her throat. His expression that of malicious disgust. She could see that he meant to slit her throat, that he’d do it.

Just then, Elana sat up and screamed, tears falling from her eyes and down her cheeks. “No, no, no,” she mumbled again and again. “Please no. Not now. Please no.”

The worries that Elana hadn’t even realized had been buried deep within herself as she’d made her choice the night before were coming to the surface. She realized what she had to live for, but now feared that what she had to live for would kill her because of his own self-promise.

Sobbing, Elana buried her face in her hands. “Please no. Please no,” she cried.

Asrath woke to the sound of Elana crying into his chest. He looked at her wondering what was going on , then he heard her speaking. "Please no. Please no." She was still asleep, in the midst of some nightmare.

He grabbed her shoulders and shook her. "Elana?! Elana wake up!" She'd been so happy the night before, he couldn't comprehend what was making her act like this. He held her upright looking at her terrified, and tear stained face, not even paying attention to the rest of her body. He looked worried and confused.

Elana’s eyes flew open and she buried her face against Asrath’s chest, her arms wrapping tightly around him. Her body shook with sobs for several minutes before she was able to calm herself down enough to speak.

Blinking, Elana looked into Asrath’s confused and worried eyes, her lips trembling. “My dream,” she said. “It was so real. So very real.” Another sob bubbled up and she hugged him tighter. She was afraid to tell him what her dream was, afraid he’d take it the wrong way, afraid that it could come true. “In my d-dream,” she stammered. “You killed me.”

Again Elana began to sob. The emotions she felt were so overwhelming. She felt immense joy in what she’d learned about herself, in what she’d found with Asrath. But she had to face the fact that she was afraid of what the future would bring, where her life’s path would take her. She knew her order would shun her, not allow her back to the temple. But that was something she could deal with, something she could accept. However, it was the uncertainty of everything else that made her feel panic, worry. The idea that after everything they’d shared, that Asrath could still kill her for not being able to uphold her promise of payment for his services, the idea that he could leave her to continue on his suicidal path. It was making her senses overload, forcing her to face emotions buried deep inside her soul.

Elana looked into Asrath’s deep green eyes and leaned toward him so that her forehead pressed against his. Closing her eyes, she whispered. “I don’t want to die. Especially now that I know what I live for.”

Asrath held her head, and gently rocked her. He wasn't going to kill her, but he said nothing. To be honest, he wasn't sure what he could say, or for that matter that he wasn't lying to himself when he said he wouldn't kill her. He'd killed women he'd slept with before, but she was something more to him.

He gently wiped the tears from her face as they spoke. "We'll make it through this. Now cheer up, the people need their priestess, and you're still on your pilgrimage. Give them what they need." He slid out of the bed, and began dressing himself. He was still trying to figure out what he was going to do. Somehow he knew he wouldn't be payed in Seras, but he needed her to live.

Elana let Asrath hold her. Being in his arms just felt so wonderful, so right. It nearly took her breath away. And she also loved how her body seemed to mold to his as if they were somehow meant to fit together like two pieces of a puzzle. She sat in silence, letting her body calm down. Just sitting there with him, his arms around her, cradling her, almost made her forget the dream and the reality of what she needed to face. All the uncertainties that loomed before her.

Asrath gently wiped Elana’s tears away. “We’ll make it through this,” he said. His words sent a shock of comfort throughout her body. She truly believed him and it made her feel warm inside. “Now cheer up, the people need their priestess, and you’re still on your pilgrimage,” he added.

Asrath was definitely right about that. Elana was still on her pilgrimage and, as a priestess, certain things were still expected of her. Though she knew by the end of it all she’d no longer be a priestess of the Girion Order, would no longer be welcome back to her temple. But she didn’t care about that. She’d come to realize something about herself over the past few days and she wasn’t about to deny herself any longer. Too much of her life had been spent in denial, in sacrifice.

Asrath looked at Elana and smiled. “Give them what they need.”

Elana smiled a little. Asrath was right. The people were expecting a Girion Priestess. This was not the time to let them down. She knew her choices now and that wouldn’t change who she was on the inside. Not to her, not to Asrath. Even if for a short while, she could give the kind people of the town some comfort. That was all they wanted of her. And maybe by giving comfort, it would make her feel better.

“You’re right,” Elana said softly. “I will.” She wrapped her arms around Asrath’s body and looked up into his eyes before pressing her lips against his for one last kiss before getting ready to face the day.

Asrath finished securing his gear for the day, and looked over his shoulder at Elana before he walked out. "I'm going to get some supplies to make the journey a little easier. you attend to your duties with the people here. If you need anything, just shout. I shouldn't be too far off."

He headed into the small town and began gathering the supplies they'd need. He had to part with of his rubies at the livery for a pair of good strong horses, and another at the mercantile in order to buy pairs of everything to avoid arousing anymore suspicion about what their relationship really was now.

His final stop was the smithy. He needed to get her a sword she could wield, and learn with. He looked at the various blades that were, and tested a few, but none seemed to work, until he came to a saber, that was in the back gathering dust. He picked it up and swung it lightly. The feel was wrong to him, but from watching Elana's initial attempts it would be perfect for her. He paid the smithy for the blade, and had it sharpened before heading back to meet with Elana again.

Elana headed outside and no sooner did she take one step onto the main road when she was suddenly surrounded by townsfolk. They gathered around her, faces smiling, looking hopeful. She gulped as she looked out at them all. She hoped that she’d be able to give them what they needed.

“Lady priestess,” said only little girl who tugged at Elana’s sleeve. “My parents wish for a blessing from Girio. Could you give us one?” A few other townsfolk nodded, mumbling similar words and hoping that she’d give them all one.

Elana nodded and smiled, though on the indside she had so many questions and so many doubts. She knew her purpose now and it wasn’t to serve the god any longer. But she still loved helping people, so she held up her hands for all to see.

“Girio. Watch over these good people. Bring them good fortune and good health for many years to come.” The words felt mechanical to Elana, but the townsfolk seemed elated by her blessing. Seeing them so happy made her smile a genuine smile, made her feel good inside.

“We’re honored by your presence, lady priestess,” said a middle-aged man. “It is not every day that we are lucky enough to have such a guest.”

“Thank you, kind sir,” Elana replied. “You all do me an honor by hosting us. You’re kindness is very much appreciated.”

A few of the townsfolk clapped as Elana spoke highly of them all and of their town. It astounded her how such a little thing could mean so much. But then again, when she truly thought on it, it made perfect sense. Little things had a tendency to mean more than most.

Elana spoke with several more people and gave out several more blessings as the day wore on. Every free moment she had though was spent on thinking about Asrath. She wondered how he was faring. If he’d been able to acquire all the things he’d wanted to. She longed to be next to him, to simply be in his presence.

Asrath had both horses saddled up, and loaded with their supplies by midday. He tucked the sword he'd bought her away under the saddlebags on her mount. He didn't know what her faith's policy was concerning weapons, but he figure it was better to be safe than sorry. He led the horses to her. She wasn't that hard to find, he just had to follow the people of the town. He waited until she was finished with the blessing she was conducting before he spoke. "Whenever you're ready we can go."

As soon as Elana saw Asrath come into view, she smiled. The very sight of him made her heart feel light, despite the fears and worries that lingered in the back of her mind. She finished up her final blessing for the town and bid them farewell, thanking them for their kindness and hospitality. They truly seemed sad to see her go, but she had to. She needed to press on, learn more about the woman she was discovering she was.

Elana walked up to Asrath and smiled. “My, you’ve been busy,” she stated as she looked at the horses and other items he’d bought. Biting her lip, she then asked, “How much did this cost you?” She placed a gentle hand on his arm. “I hope it wasn’t too much.” She looked down at the ground, feeling somewhat badly. But, when she looked up, Asrath’s smile reassured her a little. “I’m ready whenever you are.”

And Elana most certainly was. It was difficult for her to be the center of so much attention. It made her a little uneasy and she felt it best to be on the road once more. Traveling the wilds with Asrath by her side.

Asrath shrugged. "It wasn't too bad, biggest bulk of the cost was for the horses. They're good mounts, I'm sure of that. The livery man was quick to set me up after I instructed him in my policy with liars. Deals were fairly made."

He smiled at the touch of her, and leaned down and whispered into her ear. "I also go you something else you might need for the journey. I stowed it under your saddle bags, wait till we're out of town before you get it out." With that he mounted up.

Once she was in the saddle as well, he led them out of town, taking it at a fairly easy pace so she could get used to the saddle. She was probably going to be sore as hell for the first couple days, but once she was used to it, and the strength built up in her legs she'd be fine.

Elana mounted her horse, with Asrath’s help, and proceeded to follow him along the path out of town. It was strange being on a horse, but she found it oddly enjoyable, invigorating. It was something new, so different than traveling in the carriages she was used to.

As they left the town behind them, Elana began to wonder what Asrath had gotten her that she might need. After traveling for a while and she was sure that they were far enough away, she stopped her horse.

“So what is it you got me?” Elana asked, curious.

Elana slid off her horse rather awkwardly, but managed to land on her feet nonetheless. She peeked under her horse’s saddle and found a saber. Immediately she smiled, remembering that first night when Asrath had cut her off from her questions and tried to teach her how to defend herself with a stick. Though it was only a short time ago, it seemed like ages since that night.

Looking over at Asrath, Elana smiled. “Are you going to try and teach me to defend myself again?” She paused a moment. “You haven’t given up on me,” she whispered. “Thank you.”

Asrath smiled and laughed. "I hadn't given up on you in the first place priestess, we were just a little too preoccupied for anything else last night. You ok getting on your horse this time, or do you need help again. Now that i think about it, should probably get you some pants, at the next town we're in."

He rode his mount up next to her, and patted her on the shoulder. "Go ahead and pull it out, check the feel of it. The balance was a bit awkward for me since I'm used to my own sword, but it seemed good for you from what i saw."

Elana felt herself blush as Asrath hinted at what they’d done, what they’d shared the night before. Her skin felt hot as she thought about it and she couldn’t help but smile a little. It was a night she’d never forget, not ever. A night she hoped could be repeated in the near future.

Elana was also very happy to hear that Asrath had never given up on her. It meant that he did see potential in her and that meant quite a lot to her. She could see very plainly that such things were important to him and she wanted to meet his standards even though she knew it would be a rough road to travel. But it was a road she was more than willing to travel. For him.

“Yes, some pants would probably be more practical,” Elana stated. She’d never worn pants before. She wondered what it would be like and suddenly felt silly for thinking on such things. It only reminded her of how sheltered she’d been most of her life. How… stifled.

Picking up the saber, Elana held onto the handle. She looked at the blade and moved it around awkwardly. She had no idea how to test it out, of what to do. It did feel comfortable in her hand, however. It was light and easy to handle. She just needed guidance how to properly hold it, how to properly swing.

“It’s wonderful, Asrath. Thank you.” Elana paused a moment and chuckled to herself. “I just need help in learning how to handle such a thing. I’m not very skilled, as you can see.” She looked over at him and smiled. “But you’ll help me. Teach me.” She knew he would and she was glad of it.

Elana put the saber away and prepared to mount her horse. “I’ll try on my own first,” she said. It was hard for her, but eventually she got herself up and on the horse. She was proud of herself even though it was a small accomplishment. And when she saw Asrath smiling at her, she felt even better about it.

He watched silently as she held the blade he'd purchase for her. He could see from her awkward swings that she was intimidated by it, but still, it fit her hand perfectly. With training he had no doubt she could wield it with lethality, but that would take time. He was glad he'd chosen well as he watched her put the blade away and try to saddle up again.

Asrath was just getting ready to slip down and help her up again, when she managed to get herself back into the saddle. He placed his hand on her arm as he spoke. "We could make the next town by night fall, but that would take some hard riding, but you aren't ready for that yet, and neither are these horses I don't think. We should get there by tomorrow evening though." He clicked his tongue lightly, and started walking his horse down the road.

Elana nodded at Asrath’s words. He was definitely right that she’d be unable to make it to the next town at the pace that would be needed to do so. She was too new at riding. Too new at many things. As it was, she could already feel muscles she’d never worked before starting to ache ever so slightly. So she knew full well she’d be sore continuing at the pace they already were traveling.

As Asrath led his horse back down the path at a pace comfortable for Elana, she followed. They rode in silence for a little while before she felt the need to talk again. She bit down on her lip, wondering if she dare ask him about the markings she’d seen on his chest. More than anything she didn’t want to upset him or make him feel pain of any kind. But she was curious, she wanted to know everything about him.

Mustering up her courage, Elana finally spoke in a shaky and very hesitant voice. “I don’t mean to pry and you don’t need to answer me, but…” her voice trailed as she felt a small wave a fear wash over her as she was about to ask her question. “But what are those markings on your chest? What do they mean?” Suddenly feeling horrible for asking, she quickly added. “I’m sorry. I shouldn’t have asked. You don’t need to answer if you don’t want to.” Immediately her cheeks reddened and she found herself hoping she didn’t upset Asrath.

Asrath cracked his neck. He was still a bit stiff from the exertion of the previous night. He hadn't made love like that before in his life, though he was glad for the experience. "They're the marks that all candidates receive regardless of the order we go into, or even if we're the ones who are ultimately selected for a position within that order. It's the Star of Lysandra and the Sword of Krath balanced upon the Scales of Tenkal. To even bear these marks is a sign of prestige in our faith, though there are few who ever succeed in taking the full marks of the patron they choose."

He rode on in silence for a while before he spoke again. "I was fourteen when I took the marks. It was a few months after I got these." He patted his shoulder where the bite marks were. "O don't remember why I was admitted to the order so young originally. Under normal circumstances you need to be eighteen, but they made an exception for me."

Elana let out a sigh of relief when Asrath answered her. She’d made so many past blunders with her questions that she couldn’t help but worry a little. So she was more than relieved that he answered her and that doing so didn’t seem to cause him pain. She truly wanted to know as much as she could about him and the markings and scars he had were still mostly a mystery to her. She knew they each had a story, played a part in making him the man he was before her. A man she cared about very deeply.

“I see,” Elana answered. “You must’ve been viewed as special then for such a thing to happen.” She smiled a little. “I can understand why.” She paused a moment as they rode oneward, her legs slightly stiff from the night before and now having to ride a horse in such a fashion. “I’ve never seen anyone fight the way you do, with such precision. It’s as if you somehow know what they’ll do before they even do.”

Elana shivered a little as she remembered the first day she’d seen Asrath. The day he slaughtered several of the men in her entourage. Now she knew that there had been a misunderstanding; that he’d never had done such a thing had he been told the truth of his job in the first place. Strangely though, she found herself glad that everything that occurred that fateful day had indeed happened. It brought them together. And no matter what the future brought, she’d at least have this time with him, these memories. Though she didn’t want this time to end, she knew that deep in her heart. Again she smiled as she looked at him.

“I’ll never be able to fight like you,” Elana said, breaking her own thoughts. “But I’ll try.”
