Falling (Candira and Sinner)

Lifting his head after removing her shirt he gently tossed it to the side as he took in the sight of her laying there before him. "you humans can be such beautiful creatures" he spoke the words before his mind could properly process the thought and keep him from speaking it. He stiffened suddenly as he sat frozen realizing what he had just uttered aloud before her. Quickly he dropped his head down till his lips touched flesh again the the center of her chest at the base of her collarbone. His hands took a place once again upon her sides gently caressing her soft skin. His brain was still running wondering how she would react to the words he had spoken and hoping that in the heat of the moment she would be too distracted to pay attention to his soft words.

Cora almost didn't realize what he said. But then he froze and in that instant, she had time to think about what had just come out of his mouth. Her eyes widened a bit and she found herself wondering what she'd gotten herself into. But then his lips were on her chest, moving up to her collar bone and his hands were running over her sides, the lovely sensations distracting her. She fought to stay focused, but it was so hard when she wanted to just let herself be swept away.

"What? Alex, what did you mean?" she asked, keeping him close, but trying to hold him still for a moment, too. She was at odds with herself at the moment. She wanted two very different things--to understand what had just happened, and to keep feeling the way he made her feel.

He sighed as he heard her words but kept his lips to her soft skin. "Nothing love my brains a bit frazzled is all" he said between kisses. He slid his lips to hers kissing her assionately as his fingers moved farther up fingertips slowly sliding under the fabric of her bra teasing the skin beneath her breasts. He wished it wasn't true but being with her the way they were had most assuredly rattled his brain to a point where he couldn't register much more then the feel of her. He slid one hand the rest of the way up beneath her bra feeling her nipple moving across his palm before his hand fully covered her breast and he squeezed it tenderly.

Cora arched into him, her body aching to be close as he tried to explain himself. Actually, up until this point, she had been pretty sure Alex was perfect. This weird little slip up was kind of a relief. It was still very strange, but she could live with it if it meant he kept touching her like that. She shivered and closed her eyes for a moment as his hand cupped her breast. "Ahh, mmmmm...me too," she said, her breath coming deeper now.

First he'd saved her life, then he'd become her friend at work, and now he was living with her, driving her crazy in bed. It was happening so fast, but it felt so right. She'd never felt safer in her life, or more comfortable. He was a little odd--out of touch, even, but he was so sweet and charming. It was hard to believe she'd been lucky enough to meet him. It seemed her life was finally turning around.
