You enter a dark and gloomy castle.

It is decorated with ancient tapestries and gargoyle statues.

There is a giant chandelier above you, who seems to be radiating a strange purple light.

There is a staircase in front of you and doors on either sides.

The party enters the room in a diamond formation, Sara leads the way and Leanne brings up the rear while Aria and Nilla guard the group's flanks. "The chandelier is obviously magical." Nilla remarks much to Sara's annoyance. "It's glowing... Of course it's magical." It's typical of the two, sniping back and forth like this, and Leanne and Aria have long since given up on trying to do anything about it. True to form, Nilla simply gives a haughty huff and Sara gives an annoyed mutter of something that sounds suspiciously like "Goddamn elves" before they carry on. "Shouldn't we check the side-doors?" Aria speaks nervously, her voice quavering a little in the tense silence, but Sara is already marching up the stairs and Leanne is following, leaving neither the elf or the bard with any desire to stick around without someone to protect them. They climb cautiously, moving slowly and carefully in case of traps, the quartet watchful for any sign of a threat.

At the top of the staircase is a giant black armor holding a giant sword.

As the party approaches, the eyes of the armors horned helmet begin to burn with and orange glow.

Suddenly, Sara feels her breast plate becoming increasingly warm to the point of being unbearable.

Sara feels at first just a warmth that rapidly grows to a burning heat, It takes all of her skill just to keep from toppling backwards as she frantically tugs at the buckles of the metal armour and pushes it away from her. Nilla chuckles openly to the tune of the warrior's glare while Leanne moves to the front of the party. "Why did you do that?" She asks quietly, "It burned me!" Sara retorts hotly. The armour doesn't seem to be doing anything besides standing there for the moment but Leanne takes up a ready stance anyways, watching the glowing eye sockets warily. After her laugh at Sara's expense, Nilla does the same while Aria examines the armour, trying to remove the magical effect that heated it so.

You were wise to prepare!

Suddendly the armor takes a step forward and raises its sword.

Its head moves suddently and Nila's clothes cath fire.

It moves in to engage with the party.

What the hell is this thing!?" Nilla cries out as her clothes suddenly catch fire, the burning is a distraction and it takes precious seconds away from her as she conjures water to put out the flames, leaving her standing in a charred and partially destroyed dress that clings to her with the wetness as she casts a lightning bolt at the armour. Leanne moves to intercept the Armour as it charges while Aria picks up Sara's breastplate and hands it back to the warrior, The tiefling fights offensively, trying to push back the hulking suit while Sara re-equips herself and then fading back to let the heavier armoured warrior engage while she tries to sneak around behind the opponent. Her work done, Aria begins to play a song of courage, granting greater power to her companions.

The armor senses it is surrounded and swing it sword in a great arc around itself.

Then its gaze fixes itself on Alia whose clothe also catch on fire.

The armor battle furiously against Sara and sensing its defeat uses the last of its strength to explode and burn as much of the heroes armor as it can.

The armor now lies in pieces on the ground.

There is a large corridors with many doors in front of the heroes.

Leanne and and Sara are knocked back by the armour's spinning attack and charge back into the fray as it takes the momentary lull int he action to ignite Aria's clothes. With the armour being a more pressing concern Nilla doesn't bother to spare the same attention to the bards clothes as she did to her own, resulting in Aria's clothes being almost useless by the time they are put out. In the meantime, Sara's weapon and armour are shattered by the monster's final explosion, leaving her in only a tunic and skirt as the animated suit falls into it's component pieces. "Damn... Should we turn back? Aria is looking worse for the wear and I cannot take many hits without my plate..." As usual, Nilla objects. "My magic can protect us and Leanne is more than capable of fighting the front instead, get to the back and watch our rear." Sara twitches, anger written plainly upon her features, but her angry tirade is cut short before it even starts by Aria's quiet voice. "It's okay... I can still play... Let's move on..." She just wanted her companions to stop fighting and, mollified by her words, they do. "Now..." Nilla speaks as she sees the corridor ahead. "Shall we try a door?"

After a moment's more squabbling they eventually choose to try the second door on the right, Aria doing the honours of turning the handle.

As they enter the room they see it is covered in mirrors at strange angles making them appear to be a dozen of each members of the party everywhere in the room.

In the middle of the room is a crystal altar with three wine glasses on it one contains a blue liquid, another a red and the third contains a green slimy liquid.

As soon as the party takes a few steps in the door closes magically and traps them inside.
