Ferris Bueller's day off: This movie has way too many great moments, I can't think of any specific one... But the entirety of Alan Ruck's performance is what comes to mind.

I'm a fan of dialogue, more than anything. My favourite scene of all time in this regard would have to be Jodie Foster and Anthony Hopkins' first meeting in Silence of the Lambs.

Two others (because I find them powerful rather than 'enjoyable') are both from One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest:

Billy and Nurse Ratched (to me, still one of the most despicable characters in all of fiction) near the end of the film: "You know Billy, what worries me is how your mother is going to take this", and the last scene of the film

Others that come to mind are the 'Honey-Bunny' scene from Pulp Fiction, "You Talking to Me?" from Taxi-Driver, and the 'Duelling Banjo's' scene from Deliverance always sticks with me.

Although not quite in the same class, I still love 'Bluto's Big Speech' from Animal House.

Do HBO shows count? I highly enjoyed when Daenerys (Game of Thrones) took over the unsullied from the slave master, and turned them against the slavers. I thought the notion itself was great, ordering them to kill the slavers, save the women and children, and free the chained slaves, but the scene itself was also done very well.

Mhm, one of my favorite scenes to watch (over and over).

I admit, I'm a sucker for a last stand and a good line. From 300:

Xerxes: There will be no glory in your sacrifice. I will erase even the memory of Sparta from the histories! Every piece of Greek parchment shall be burned. Every Greek historian, and every scribe shall have their eyes pulled out, and their tongues cut from their mouths. Why, uttering the very name of Sparta, or Leonidas, will be punishable by death! The world will never know you existed at all!
King Leonidas: The world will know that free men stood against a tyrant, that few stood against many, and before this battle was over, even a god-king can bleed.

I remembered this thread from way back, and just had to add in a new favourite scene. And no, it's not because of the schoolgirl stripper (Really! Though that just probably made a few of you click the link.) - It's more because of what, for some reason I can't really define, I think is the most appropriate use of a song in the context of a movie that I can recall. From 'Exotica'

The dance scene between Elena & Alejandro in The Mask of Zorro has been - and will always be - one of my all time favorite scenes. Yeah, I realize this went a bit longer than the actual dance but .. ah well.

Probably one of the few things the movie did that I found better than the book. Can't believe they cut it from the cinematic release.

One of my all time favourite scenes, and my favourite movies, is Michael Caine's narration at the end of The Prestige. (If you haven't seen the movie from start to finish it won't make any sense and you'll just ruin it for yourself.)

Perhaps the most powerful and emotional ending to... well anything I've seen before. And the main reason why the newer movie is a piece of shit by comparison.

This is probably cheating but I think my favorite scene would be every scene involving Katsumoto and Algren. Especially the ending scene. That scene brings me to tears every time.

May I put in this fave show of mine until I can make up my mind which scene in which movie?

"I own you" It's epic
