Xavier smiled again when she started to loosen up some. "It's fine you'll get used to it for the most part. As we'll as the fake smiles and the snide comments and the backstabbing and the general rules of not damaging yourself socially for good." He was happy to see a smile on her face and it actually looked cute. "You've actually got a realy nice smile I hope I get to see more of it." He took her paper looking over it and he spotted her first period class. He chuckled as she basically spoke his mind. Though she had a bit of a slide because of the change she making from the country to this hell hole. "Yeah you do look just as helpless and pathetic as the new meat but that's where I come in 'sweetie'." He took another jab at her copying her accent with a grin on his face. "I'll show you around wherever you wanna go just let me know. But first let's start with the school."

Taking a look at her schedule he saw Algebra 2 as her first period and remembered he had the same class. "Oh I don't have girlfriends I have many women that admire me though. The girl would have to be able to hold my attention to tie me down. Why? Are you trynna give it a shot?" He grabbed her hand and led her towards the class. When he got to the door he crouched and motioned for her to do the same. He peaked inside quickly to make sure they could escape. Turning back to her he whispered. "This is where you'll come to. I hope your good at math because I hear Algebra 2 kicks butt."

Fake smiles and Snide Comments? Oh boy!
Go to school in the city they said.
It would be fun they said.

Fuck them! God, what was wrong with city people? All of them seemed to have over flowing ego's and if most of the girls here were like any of the one she previously was greeted with then she was glad she knew how to actually get down and dirty. If these girls liked to play, she would teach them how a gal got around in an all catholic private school out in the middle of no where.
"Do all guys flirt as much as you do and are you making fun of me city boy?" Her accent wasn't thick, catholic school prevented her from making much grammar mistakes. But the way he teased her couldn't keep those pink lips from curving upwards in a smile.
"You're terrible at accents by the way." Emily commented with another smirk which didn't seem to fade as she followed him without hesitation. Which was strange.
Should she really trust this man? Who just now she realized had yet to give a name.

Daddy said not to talk to strangers.
Oops?

His words only rectified her thoughts and that country girl attitude had sparked yet again in the fiery blonde haired woman. "Don't flatter yourself there, all-star." Her tone remained jokingly light, not an ounce of bitterness on that tongue of hers.
At first she really hadn't had a clue as to why they were sneaking around by the door. Weren't they going to in? Reverting her mind back to his words about showing her around the school she guessed he meant now.
"Aren't we going to be late for class though?" Hushed were her words as she crouched next to the well built high school hottie. The door was slim so they had to almost squeeze together to both see into the room. Afraid the teacher would suddenly pop out of no where she stood up and out of the way of the small window, looking down at the nameless man. "I'm not just a pretty face." Smiling and rolling her eyes she crosses her slender arms comfortably under her bust. She was determined not to be the first to give her name. She liked challenges of sorts and it was hard not to think the things she was momentarily about how fit he looked and the hair, not to mention his eyes. They were gorgeous.
Maybe city boys weren't so bad after all?

Harlie had been standing in the hallway a few meters away , watching casually as kind Xavier escorted the country chick to her class . Algebra 2 . It was the class she was supposed to be in this fine morning , but had decided to skip . She smirked , seeing them smiling all sweetly to each other . She hoped the country girl was ready to get her pretty little heart broken . No doubt she was genuinely nice . That was Harlie's favorite kind to screw with . Raising an eyebrow , she looked at Xavier , her eyes sharp . It wasn't necessarily jealousy , more of a oddly pitying feeling for the other girl . She knew Xavier , knew that he didn't settle . The country girl and city boy , their kind wouldn't mix . Never had , never would . Brushing her golden hair from her face , she sighed , smirked , and turned her back , seeking out someone to talk to . Preferably someone she could mess with . There was no way she'd go into her class , as she knew she might do too much damage in one morning . Didn't want the waters she swam to get too bloody , too fast .

But as she turned , she felt like she was burning . Maybe it was jealousy . Xavier had always been one of her favorites , and seeing that girl get comfortable with him , seemingly wanting him , she felt like making the waters as bloody as she could . She could tear the girls reputation up , but that would be too easy , too ... violent . It wasn't past her , but she wanted to take it slowly this time . She had already been invited to Xavier's party , and she knew it was likely the other girl would now be invited as well . Might as well make the party as interesting as possible . Smirking viciously , she finished her turn , and walked a bit farther down the hall , wondering if Xavier would be skipping class as well .

"Well, nice to meet ya Zane," River said with a smile.

At first she was surprised when he mentioned he was blind, but quickly grew comfortable. "My cousin is blind. We always play games and he can still kick my butt at almost everything," she said while reminiscing.

"And you mentioned you like painting? That's interesting. I've never been good at painting but I do like throwing paint and finger painting," she says with a small laugh.

"So I don't think I've seen you around. It's a little odd considering I know lots of guys here. Are you new?"

Xavier was surprised by her comment and his grinning turned into smirks. "Well first off sweetheart there's no one like me and you'll never find anyone close. I like flirting with cute girls especially when they are good with words as you. And yes I think I was just a lil bit honey just pullin yer leg." He tried to hold back his laugh but a chuckle slipped out. "I don't have to be a good hillbilly because you got the joke." Xavier checked the classroom one more time and then grabbed her hand pulling them from the door. He continued down the hall some before answering the rest of her questions or comments. He didn't even seen sharky hawking them down. "Well Emily as much as I love you calling me all-star, sexy, and gorgeous you can call me Xavier. Its nice to hear you compliment me though your actually kinda beautiful." He smirked before turning back around to check the halls which were pretty much empty.

"We're cutting classes until lunch." He actually thought she was fun to keep around. "Hey listen cuteness I'm having a party. It would be good for you to come out and establish yourself for being invited. Not that many make it in and you may just have an opportunity at the popular circle if that's your type of thing."

It didn't seem like any of the tours she had ever been given but other tour guides hadn't distracted her as much.
His compliments continued to flatter her and she has to think about that girl from before just to make her stop grinning like an idiot.
As she did this she looked around, spotting a figure not too far away. Head tilting slightly to catch who it was she caught deathly skinny legs walking away in a bottom too short to be considered half decent.
With half a mind to tell the Stranger his stalker was back she only just stopped as he uttered the word 'hillbilly'. Her cheeks flushed and her head whipped back, her soft curls bouncing as she did so to shoot a pouty look at the darker haired male before she was yet again pulled to a different scene. His hand was strong and once more all hesitation was lost to follow, not that she really had much of a choice.

It would of slipped right by her if he hadn't given his name. At first she wondered how he could of gotten her name, it wasn't like she was sporting a name tag with her attire- was she? No, she was just being stupid. He probably got that from her schedule. Of course he did.
Xavier though. It was a good name, it seemed to fit his attitude.
"Kinda beautiful?" Her voice inquired with eyebrows raised. "Is that suppose to be another compliment?" Teasing, the colorful young lady folded her hands behind her back. Cutting class?
That was a first. Feeling like she should interject her thoughts were yet again interrupted.

"The popular circle?" She guessed drama-tised teenage lives really did exist like in the movie. All she could picture were jocks with their arms around cheer leaders. One of those cheer leaders being the wonderfully polite (Sarcastically of course) stalker from before. Finding her two fingers twisting a curled piece of blonde hair she thought about for a moment or two.

"I guess I could think about it." If her smile wasn't anything to give away the way her eyes observed him might have gave it away as well.
She wasn't one for groups like these. They were suppose to be the bullies right? But parties?
Well she liked those.

Damien woke up, feeling a little groggy from the night before. Drinking, smoking and partying was pretty much his life, along with keeping is appearance in check. He was quite proud of his image, knowing that was is really quite attractive, by anyone's standards.
He took pride in his appearance, working out regularly. He jumped out of bed, not wanting to be too late for the first day of school.

Damien grabbed some clothes out of one of his drawers and headed to his bathroom. He went to his basin and washed his face, examining himself closely in the mirror. He brushed his teeth and swept his hair back with one hand.

Pulling on a pale gray, thin, cotton shirt, black leather jacket, a pair of black worn levi jeans and converse sneakers, checking himself in the mirror once again, fluffing his hair, Damien wandered back to his room, grabbing his wallet and phone. He made his way to the kitchen. He raided the fridge and pulled out a bottle of Vodka, pulling off the lid and downing a few large mouthfuls, stinging his throat on the way down, before putting it back and grabbing a bottle of VB. "Nothing better than a cold beer to start the day," he said to himself quietly.

Damien grabbed his keys and ran outside, jumping into his red 2011 Chevrolet Camaro. He drove to school, probably not very close to the speed limit, but not too fast. He pulled into the car park, slinging his back over his shoulder and locking his car. The school looked dead. He was pretty late. He walked inside, wandering down the halls. He was supposed to have Algebra. Damien was smart, but even he hated Algebra. As he was walking, he spotted none other than a blonde girl, Harley, if he remembered her correctly. She was quite attractive, not quite irresistible; simply because Damien did care for personality along with appearance.

She merely rolled her eyes as she saw the new happy 'couple' walk off down the hall past her , obviously skipping as well . No doubt the country chick had been invited to his party . She must think she was something now . Smirking , she turned on her heels , heading off in the opposite direction . As she turned , she almost ran smack into a boy . Stepping back slightly , she widened her eyes , and realized it was none other than Damien . She had seen him around plenty , and she was aware that he could be just as cold and unkind as she could . Raising an eyebrow , she looked him up and down .

He was rather attractive , she had always loved dark hair . Smirking slightly , she stepped back again , to give him his space . She wasn't quite ready to get too close and personal with him . Running a hand through her messy ponytail , she spoke up first . "Oh sorry , didn't see you there ." she said simply , not seeming to have any hidden meanings at the moment . She knew he was late , and by his placement , she figured he had Algebra 2 as well , but it didn't appear that he was planning on attending that class .

She put her hands on her hips , and her blue eyes looked up at him expectantly . In the short course of the morning , her shirt had been yanked a little lower , her skirt a bit higher . She looked totally out of dress code , but she could care less .

Damien stopped when Harley appeared in front of him, smiling politely. He wasn't surprised to find her out of class, as she usually was. No doubt looking for some poor Junior to feed on. She did come across as quite intimidating, if you weren't used to her. Damien knew her tricks, her ploys, her games. However, Damien liked being the dominant one. He liked being in charge. Watching someone as high up on the food chain as Harley squirm could be a lot of fun.

He chuckled at the thought, leaning against the locker beside him and crossing his arms. He looked down at Harley, smirking as he looked her up and down, before resting his eyes on her. Her clothes were quite disheveled, but not in a bad way. She didn't seem very amused, her smirk missing her trademark spark.

Damien tilted his head slightly at her apology, no doubt an empty gesture. He raised an eyebrow slightly. "No worries," he replied coolly, feigning lack of interest. "Something on your mind, love?" He asked, out of curiosity, if nothing else.

Xavier stopped at a few more times showing him the more boring rooms. "Your right you are beautiful." He stopped and ran his eyes over her again with a smile reaching forward to tuck some loose strands of hair behind her ear. He saved the best places for last. Coming to the cafeteria he stopped with a sigh. "Yeah even if it is cliche it's how this school is run for the most part. This is one of the worst war zones in the school proceed here with caution. You might even die." Of course he didn't mean it literally and he hoped she didn't take it that way. Wouldn't want country girl to be spooked by the city folk. When she tried to blow off his party like it wasn't a big deal he laughed at her failed attempt. "Nice try sweetheart but I can see it in your eyes that your tempted to go I don't even have to look anywhere else."

Xavier was reaching some of the best parts of the tour when he spotted one of the locker rooms that led to the school pool. Lucky for him it was the boy's locker room. It was still early so there would be nobody inside. He checked the halls briefly before pulling her inside quickly. "I hope you don't mind." He let her hand go and pulled off his shirt. His tightly toned chest was exposed to the cool locker room air. "I think I'm going for a swim you wanna join?" He was already kicking off his sneakers and pulling at his belt. He wasn't ashamed of showing himself but he didn't exactly plan to either. He wanted to test her resolve and see if she was actually worth the effort he was ready to put in. Before his pants came off he would go change in another row.

She watched him lean against the locker , and she crossed her arms , her cleavage getting a little too exposed . She frowned slightly , and looked up at him , her eyes looking quite unlively . She raised an eyebrow , still investigating the boy who seemed he was her Devilish twin . If it had been earlier and they had run into each other , she may have had more spark and get-to-it kind of attitude , but she felt a bit swamped at the particular moment . She wasn't fond of the feeling .

She listened to his reply , then heard his question shortly after , she raised her eyebrow again , tilting her head to mimic him , something inside her clicking . She started to feel back to usual . Smirking , she seemed to perk right back up . "Me? No , never" she grinned , her sharper teeth glinting , pearly white . She shook her head , giggling softly , taking a small step towards him . "It's not like it'd be your problem even if there was something wrong , darling" she replied , hoping he'd feel the least bit threatened , but she doubted it . She knew he liked to be the dominant one , the one in control . She figured now , he'd probably make that even more evident .

Damien couldn't help but smirk as he watched Harley. She was quite amusing in her movements, speech, facial expressions. Surprisingly enough, she was easy to read. Whatever had troubled her was out of mind at this very moment as she returned to her usual old self.

He bit his lip, holding back a slight laugh after she replied, mimicking him. She was trying to intimidate him. 'How cute,' he thought. He didn't believe she had any game in mind for him, strangely enough. Someone else must have been on her mind, unfortunately.

Damien uncrossed his arms, using one to lean against the lockers as he leaned a little closer to her, tipping her chin up with one hand as he spoke, "I could just make it my business," he mused, shrugging as he withdrew his hand.

She thoroughly enjoyed watching him smirk , it satisfying to know that she amused him . He intrigued her more than most people , due to their obvious similarities . She figured if she really tried , she could have fun messing with him .

Watching him bit his lip , she mocked his movement , putting her hands on her hips now , putting her weight onto one leg , her hip swung out to the side . Her mind was searching for a fun game to use on him , but it came up blank . She knew he'd be able to return most anything she threw at him .

As she watched him lean closer , tilting her chin up , she gulped slightly , her heart jumping a beat . She hadn't been expecting him to touch her . But she regained herself quickly , not wanting him to notice her falter . As she listened to him speak and withdraw his hand , she mocked his shrug , and spoke quickly in reply . "I wouldn't care . It's not like I pay you any certain mind anyways" she smirked , eagerly awaiting his reply . This could get fun .

Those eyes of his. As curious as ever but she felt a sense of adrenaline course through her veins as he moved closer. His finger tips grazing her soft skin as he moved a strand of light curled hair back into place. Her breath seemed to stopped momentarily with his actions, only releasing it once they started moving once more. What was wrong with her today?
New place, new her? Maybe?
No she had to get a grip on herself. Think clearly Emil, not about how he seemed to be so effortlessly reading her mind.

Getting to know the battlefield was good, her enemies even more. Though she took small mental notes to keep an extra bright eye open around here.
"Alright, congratulations. You've found out I like parties, Sherlock." With another bright smile it wasn't long before they moved on. This tour certainly was fast and knowing when it came to an end they would probably separate she half heartily wished he'd slow down. Unbeknownst to Emily, her wish was soon about to come true. Maybe not in the exact terms she had imagined or thought in accordance to the rules but she had already broken one today. Going into a locker room wasn't so bad, right?

Only hoping that no one was inside her wish was yet again fulfilled.. Only just before he started removing his clothing.
Whoa-what?!
"Uhmm..." Her cheeks immediately flushed pink, her eyes now having a fascination with the tiles on the opposite side of him. Swim? Now?
They were in school, and she was sure he didn't have any swim wear. Did that mean that he was going to swim in his boxers? Once she heard clanks of metal she looked back to the shirtless Xavier unbuckling his jeans. Oh dear...
He was more fit than she had imagined, toned in just the right places and good lord help her but she was mesmerized. Her eyes seemed to adjust to the site of him before lifting up to meet his rather intense and yet careless gaze.

"I don't have a swim suit.." Her voice sounded pathetic but she managed to look away once more but found herself fidgeting with the hem of her shirt. It wasn't like she wasn't wearing any panties or bra. He seemed not to care, why should she? She just had to act like she's done this before and soon she'd be in that little circle of his right?
Then again she didn't want to seem cheap. Maybe if she only dipped ofer feet in the water? Backing out of his obvious challenge wasn't going to happen.

Damien laughed quite hard, at both her surprise and reply. She kind of reminded him of a fox; sly, sneaky. She was used to being the one in control, though. Damien wouldn't let that happen, though. She would just have to deal with it.

He stood up straight and cleared his throat, his face taking over a rather cold expression. He looked at her for a few seconds before replying. "Who ever said I'd be on your side?" his expression stayed the same. She had jumped to a conclusion. He'd caught her out and he wanted her to know it.
"And I'm glad you're not wasting your time," he added, curious as to what she'd think of that.

He walked off, brushing against her as he passed by, leaving his musky scent. He was only going to his locker, though whether or not she would follow he wasn't sure. There were plenty of other girls around, but he wanted to knew where her head was at. With his bag hanging over his shoulder, he kept walking.

((OOC: I use italics to show thoughts or flash backs))

Krystyn's dark reddened lips pucker out in thought while her eyes gloss over. Drake how can you live such a full life? I feel empty so empty inside. I can't blame it on Ashley because I've felt like this since William." Her eyes are big and look childish, even though she's far from it. She's been the mature one simply because that's the role she had to play. Her brothers sure weren't going to. They're always off and partying or having sex.

His reply had by no doubt shocked her. "I drink, it helps. Maybe you should try? It's not like Ashton or Tyler are here to stop you."

Her feet stop moving and she's trying to come back to reality. Her eyes are still dazed over but River's voice is what slightly pulled her back. Her feet robotically guide her in sync with River's steps. She follows after her and into the class room. She leans down to whisper "Save me a seat, I shouldn't be long." Her lips curl upward, attempting to form a partial smile. She then turns around and sets her binder in her bag before walking quickly out of the room and down the school halls. If the teacher wasn't around to see her then she'd be thankful. If he had, she can always come up with an excuse later. What if she gets sent to the office and they call her family? She's not sure what would happen then.

What if- she shakes her head to remove that question before colliding into a tall guy who towers over her. His hair is dark but plain in her glossed over blue eyes. Unlike hers which is black and faded to a dark blue before running to a neon one. What separates her from others who dye their hair funky colors is simply her skill. She's always been artistic and creative which helped transform herself with ease. She turns her chin upward to look into his own pair of eyes.

"Sorry about that I guess when your mind takes you somewhere unexpected you're not going to be watching where you're walking off to," she tells him honestly then pushes past his shoulder with hers and continues to walk down the halls that seem endless. She guesses it's because she needs to find fresh air and escape the scent of sweat and dust.

She was rather surprised by his laughing. Raising an eyebrow, she rolled her eyes and smirked slightly, "There was really nothing funny" she said simply, looking at him oddly. "You really are an interesting person. And no, not in a good way" she teased, shrugging. "Sorry"

As he spoke, she tensed up slightly, as it was made obvious that she had assumed things, and he had caught them. She gulped, and looked at him icily, as if she was undignified that he would say such a thing. "Whatever" she mumbled, unsure what else to add in to make it better.

But she wasn't amused as he pushed past her, seemingly not caring as he brushed against her. His smell assaulted her nose, and she admitted to herself how much she liked it. It was a good smell. She'd never let him know that, though he probably already could tell. Frowning slightly, she turned and watched him walk to his locker. Quickly deciding what she'd do, she took off after him, catching up in a few short strides. She decided to give it a shot. "I never said you could leave me like that" she said, her voice containing only half her usual amount of acid. It frustrated her. Around him, she seemed to be unable to be directly as terrible as she usually was. She couldn't bring herself to try and rip him to shreds. Maybe she didn't want to. She kept walking fast, trying to keep up with him. "Did you hear me?" she groaned, trying to sound frustrated.

Xavier enjoyed the country girl and he enjoyed tempting her and teasing her. She seemed like she could handle herself against his jokes. For every smart remark he had she could shoot one right back at him. When he tempted her in his hidden but bold ways she could take it and dish it back out all while remaining cute and innocent for the most part. A small part of him felt like he was corrupting her but the larger part was loving it. He wouldn't lead her into slutsville but he wanted to open her up to a more sexual side. "Well I thought an uptight country girl like you was a little different. But I can see now I was wrong about you for the most part. And if I can see that I'm sure our more devious characters at this school can. But your a strong girl for the most part." Was he actually looking out for this girl? What made her so special that he had even taken the time to get to know her like this? Things were becoming different at the school and he wasn't sure how just yet.

When he was pulling at his belt he looked up into Emily's eyes and he noticed how beautiful they were causing him to stop. To his satisfaction she was blushing and he knew was getting somewhere. he broke his gaze trying not to show that he had too much interest just yet. It wasn't him he didn't just throw himself at women where was the dignity in that? "You don't have a swim suit?" He ran his eyes over her to emphasize his point. "Looks to me like your wearing a bra which means you've got to be wearing panties or maybe a thong." He smirked again and pulled his belt off. She wasn't that bad she didn't back out and she didn't run out the locker room. But now was the moment of truth. He dropped his jeans stretching out and probably showing the bulge in his boxers. It was kind of hard to hide with anything. You could see it through his jeans if they were tight enough and you knew what to look for.

Xavier was a curious man, also unfair. He seemed to be observing many things about her and yet all she really knew about him was his name and stance in the popular crowd. Uptight though? Well you could tell by the way her lips pursed that she didn't like that. She didn't want to come off as a slut, was that what she appeared to be? Compared to miss sharky she thought she was more than appropriatlly dressed. At least her shorts reached mid thigh and not just under her ass. "You should know country girls aren't very up tight Mr. But thank you." She hooked her thumbs in her pocket, tilting her head slightly as she caught his attention. Why was he being so nice to her though? Hadn't he told her himself people here were a bit on edge?

Never before seeing a man undress, this was definitely a first and watching Xavier tug at his belt made her shift her weight, her eyes finding it hard to stay away from that nicely toned chest of his. As he questioned her about swim ware she could more than tell sarcasm was dripping from his words, it made her smirk and proceed to play with her hair. Whenever his eyes seemed to roam on her slim figure she felt shivers run up and down her spine. How could he tell what she was wearing? Was he that good at detecting things like this? "Do you take every new girl you meet here?" She questioned as he pulled off his belt, her eyes widening slightly as his pants dropped. Her cheeks felt warm from the blood rushing to them and she tried looking away again.
'Boxers are just like shorts.' She kept reminding herself as she had to momentarily collect her thoughts before looking back at the all-star. Just shorts... was the bulge in his pants normal or was that actually him? Oh dear lord help her.

Well she couldn't back down now. Removing the thin Transparent T-shirt she had a plain tight tank underneith. She wore flats so those at least were easy to take off. But she figured might as well make this fun as she pulled lightly at the hem of her tank top. "Mind helping me out?" She asked him innocently, the fabric was quite tight. It was hard to pull it over herself. Or so she gave off.

Just like before, Zane let the girl talk until he was sure she needed an answer. So after taking a small breath he said, "I really only paint because it helps me relax and besides, I can't even tell if what I' painting is really what I wanted to paint or if the colors are supplementary." laughing softly ot the end. Then added, "Well, it's understandable that you haven't really seen me around. My family and I only moved here about two weeks ago, so we haven't really had time to get to know anyone yet."

Then he turned his attention to the window before slipping into his thoughts, which overcame him faster than they usually did.

Effy rushes around her room to gather her things for school. For the first time in her life she was late. Effy new she shouldn't have stood up late reading The Summoning but she just had to finish it. Effy makes her way to the kitchen and quickly Grabs a Snack Bar and a 5 hr Energy drink shoving them in her bag as she makes her way to her dads old Beach Cruiser that he gave to Effy for her 16 Birthday. Effy finally Made it to school .Late but u know what they say better later then never. King Lake High School! the place where the Beautiful Resides and all the Drama Begins.Effy quickly makes her way to algebra 2 hope-ing not to disturb the class. but to her luck the Teacher stop Mid-lesson Scolding Effy for her tardiness in front of the class.

Damien smirked as he heard Harley's footsteps coming after him. She was trying to be her usual self; cold, condescending, in control. However, all of what she said lacked her usual spark. It was almost as if he could taste the sugar, along with a little venom, in her voice. Did he really do that to her?

Preoccupied with his thoughts, he almost didn't notice the girl who ran into him. A rather colourful girl. His eyes ran over her quickly as she apologized. Off the shoulder top, skirt, coloured hair and eyes? She was interesting to look at, to say the least. Attractive, too.
"No problem at all, sweetheart. I should have been watching where I was going," He replied, quite sweetly, flashing her a fairly irresistible grin.

Damien kept walking after the girl walked off, with Harlie's voice trailing after him. He turned around quickly, so she was right in front of him, held out his arms and bowed.
"My deepest apologies, my queen," he replied sarcastically, chuckling a little as he rolled his eyes. He opened his locker and swapped some books around. Sighing, he looked at Harlie, stopping for a second. His voice softening, adopting its usual deep, honey drenched tone.
"Are you sure you're okay?" He asked, before turning back to his locker and pulling a pack of cigarettes and a lighter out and shoving them into one of his pockets. He figured he had time for a quick smoke.

Closing his locker, he walked away, stopping after a few steps and turning to Harlie, raising an eyebrow slightly. Yes, he was actually waiting for her this time.

All these other girls, were simply making her on edge. The one who had stolen Xavier's attention, and now this one, who was running all into Damien. Her eyes narrowed sharply, and she stared the other girl down , but she was more than sure she hadn't seen her do it. She was walking away, after all. But it was all just getting under her skin for some reason. Maybe she wasn't as vile as she had used to be, and the poison called jealousy was invading her. She didn't like the aspect of that. But she could feel it inside her, her usual amount of sarcasm and viciousness, it was all still there, just bottled up against her will. It was ready to pop though.

Shaking her head, she followed after Damien, trying to ignore the irresistible smile he had flashed the girl she simply wanted to tear to shreds right there. But there was nothing she could do. Guys were guys , and well, she had had her fair share of jumping boats too. She wasn't exactly stable with picking someone. His reply made her stomach churn the slightest, and she could visually imagine the girl practically melting on the spot, the smile she was given being too much for her. Gagging a bit silently, she shook her head once again, trying to get a grip on her reactions to these things. What the fuck is wrong with you today?! She screamed at herself, a incredibly acidic frown plastered on her perfect pink lips. She was all out of whack today.

She was taken aback as Damien turned around, and bowed in front of her, calling her 'Queen'. She smirked half heartedly, and rolled her eyes. "Much better" she said sarcastically, but it wasn't too thick with her usual acid. More monotone. She merely watched him open his locker, and then stop, and look at her. She raised an eyebrow questioningly, she listened. He had asked her what was wrong. She must really be acting odd. Gulping, she spoke fast, frantic to cover it all up. "Really, I'm totally fine. Guess I just haven't had enough people to tear to shreds this morning" she said, lying about the first part, but being completely honest about the second. There was more than a few people she already wanted to destroy. She could feel her usual self creeping back in at the aspect of a murderous attack on someones social life. It made her itch to do some damage. It felt good to feel that again. Smirking, quite like her regular self, she saw his cigarettes. "Ooh, Cigarettes. Didn't know you were a smoker" she said sarcastically. Of course she knew he was a smoker. Who didn't?

She watched him close his locker, and start to walk away. But stop after a few steps, waiting for her. Grinning devilishly, she caught up easily. "Now that is what you should've done the first damn time" she commented, her eyes sparking, as usual.

Damien tried not to laugh. Harlie was talking too quickly, trying too hard. She was most likely lying, that much he could tell. About what, though, he wasn't sure. Maybe she would tell him eventually. Whatever it was, it had her worked up. 'Harlie Quinn getting worked up? That's a new one.' he thought.

He shrugged at Harlie's comment about his smoking. He could care less if people knew. As if Harlie would be one to say no if she was offered. "Practically everyone smokes, love," he replied simply. Something was bugging him, though; since when did he care so much about Harlie? Of course, he did consider her a friend, but he did feel something else towards her. She was attractive, obviously. What he felt was more like protectiveness, though.

He rolled his eyes dramatically at her statement, laughing in spite of himself. Her grin was mischievous and actually quite cute.
"There she is," he replied, giving his special smile as he playfully shoved her shoulder. He realized her happiness actually cheered him up a little.

Walking down the hall, Damien finally reached the doors. He pushed them open and walked outside, instantly being hit by a wall of freezing air. The wind had definitely picked up, and the temperature had dropped a little. He shivered a little.

She knew he was aware of her lie, but it was also obvious that he didn't know what she was lying about. Which was a plus. Smirking, she looked at him, still following after him as they walked. She saw his shrug, and she mimicked him, teasing, taunting. She adored how she was getting back to her old self, made things much, much easier. "Well duh" she said, rolling her eyes. "I know that" she finished, smirking easily.

But even though she was getting back to her normal self, something seemed off about Damien. He seemed to have something eating at him, not too terribly, but she knew him well enough to realize when he was even the slightest bit off. Now it was her turn to ask if he was okay. "Now, are you okay?" she questioned, raising her eyebrow. "You seem to have something bothering you. Is it me?" she said , smirking devilishly, just taking the random jab and using it. She didn't know that she was actually kind of right.

But his eye roll did end up making her giggle. He was always making over dramatic gestures, just as she was. They were alike in more than one way. "I didn't believe I was missing" she said , then adding sarcastically "I also didn't happen to see any missing posters. You must not have cared enough" she finished, faking a pout as she was shoved lightly. His smile was quite the thing to look at. Made her feel something deep inside, but she shoved it harshly back down. "Hey!" she cried out, pretending to be hurt. "You're not allowed to touch me" she said simply , raising an eyebrow , giving him fake daggers. "Next time you won't get off so easily" she threatening playfully, glaring at him.

She followed him out of the doors, and the cold air hit her like a brick wall. It hadn't been that cold earlier. She immediately crossed her arms over her chest, her teeth starting to chatter. She looked pitifully at Damien, and shuffled closer to him, slightly brushing up against him. "Brrrr" she grumbled, closing her eyes. "It feels sooooo lovely" she commented sarcastically.
