Evolution (And Other Various Video Game Shenanigans)

So has anyone watched Evo this year? Maybe lucky enough to attend? Lettuce discuss such things here along with pretty much anything related to video games. Debates, opinions, all that jazz welcome. I'll start with a topic for my Soul Calibur fans: What did you guys think of Kayane and Keev being bumped out of the tournament? For those who don't know of these two they are regarded as the best French players and Kayane got a pretty bad ass beating.

I didn't watch Evo this year, though a few of my friends went and got their asses handed to them.

Do people seriously believe that SCV is a good game? I mean, it's a great dress-up simulator, but I feel like the meta-game is going to cap out in the next six months to a year, if it hasn't happened already.
