Alix was good at his job. Not just good, Alix was one of the best. He had been protecting both living human beings and their lost souls for centuries; taking them between the two realms as needed. He was trusted by many of the gods and knew how to do his job quickly and quietly, most of the time without the human even knowing he was there, helping them through their lives. Alix had protected all sorts of people in his years of service; from royals to the lowest of the low, male, female and of course warriors and civilians alike. He rarely had a favourite and many times he had multiple 'projects' at once, but he had the skill and experience to handle them all and kept perfect records on each and every one. The god was organized, to put it simply.

His latest client though, had to be his most favourite. Alix had been working with her since the beginning of her life and he had been there every step of the way. When she had her first fall, her first painful bike accident, the very first time she got an A in school and certainly when the first boy dumped her. Alix had watched enough of other people's lives to know how to steer her properly so nothing bad would happen. And over the years, he had developed feelings for the brunette-coloured girl. He never had these feelings for a mortal before and he knew there would be a stir if it ever got out. So he refused to let anyone else know, keeping the secret close to him, only letting it come out in his 'sessions'.

Alix decided to change his latest meeting up a bit; for the first time in Ceri's life, Alix would speak to her. He took a body, created by an image of what he saw himself in the home of the gods, the form he held while he had the ability to unlock his full, holy powers. It wasn't uncommon for a god to do such a thing, but Alix had never done it before. He came to Earth, falling in a graceful fashion to the ground outside of Ceri's school. With a short snap of his fingers, he had everything set up, accounting him as a new member of the school. He was in his client's class so he could get close to her much quicker then if they were apart.

It took Alix a minute to get used to the unusual movements of the new body, but he was ready within minutes to enter the school and take his place as an average human being.
