Life and Death (PrinceAltair & Angel216)

A very long time ago, back before life was upon Earth, back in the ages when the Earth was still just a big ball of dirt. Two beings were created to live upon this earth, creating and destroying. It was the perfect balance, when too much was created, something had to destroy it. These two beings were called Life and Death, Life had the ability to create new creatures, and rise up from the dirt new energy and life. Death had the ability to destroy it, but back then Death didn't have to destroy much. Back then Death was.................well here's the story.


Death didn't like to destroy, she liked watching Life create things and she hated to destroy them. Back then Death only destroyed if a creature or life was suffering and had to be put out of their Misery. Back then Death and Life, being the first human-like creatures on Earth, and being well a Woman and a Man, had love for each other. Each one was afraid to admit it, but they showed it by working together and creating Balance.

That was before too much Life was created, and the burden upon Death became greater, almost too much to bear, but for now there was balance and love between Life and Death, the first of many secrets to be born into the new inhabited Earth.

Lina woke up as she stretched out on the damp, cool, stone floor. Her black wavy hair flowing off her shouders as she sat up. Her ocean blue eyes blinked in the radiant sunlight that managed to stretch into the cave, and she looked at Life. She had adopted a human name, something that she had chosen to her liking. She wondered if Life had chosen one too, or if he would use her human name.

She stood up and wondered over to the opening of the cave, waiting for Life to awaken as she watched the sun rise.
