Tanya sighed as she removed her apron from over her head. She had finally finished work after a solid eight hour shift on top of school so to put it lightly, she was exhausted. It was her second year of university, working in media, which meant it was just the beginning of crunch time of her school career. Her family wasn't very impressed with her choice, meaning she was forced out of her home and into her own apartment while she was in school. But that also meant she wouldn't have her controlling family breathing down her neck the whole time. And that gave her the freedom to meet her boyfriend.

The couple had been together for just over a month and Tanya enjoyed every second of it. She had the freedom she craved, a man she had great feelings for and entertained her at the same time. They had met in a park just down the street from where she lived. They hit it off right away and the two of them hit it off right away.

While she was in the back of the small cafe, Tanya sent a short text to her boy asking if he was waiting for her outside, completely forgetting what plans they had made.

The brunette came out of the back, exiting through the hole in the counter, waving to her fellow employees. They all responded in joyful tones before returning to what they were working on. Tanya looked at her phone once more and a smile crept over her lips. She left the cafe and crept up behind Bruce, wrapping her arms around his shoulders. She kissed his cheek with a grin. "Finally done," she cooed into the man's ear before placing another peck on his cheek and releasing him. With a slight jump in her step, Tanya took a seat in the chair beside her boyfriend with a smile still glued on her face.

Tanya laughed. "Don't be silly. I remembered," she said, lightly kicking the man's shin. She stood up and lightly slapped his shoulder. "Let's go then," she told him with a smile. She knew the nearby woods like the back of her hand, after running it for most of her life. She was proud of that fact and all of her family went to her before bothering to ask any other person about the woods and trails. Tanya didn't wait for Bruce, hoping that he'd follow and catch up before she got to the park.

Tanya slowed down with a grin on her lips. "Yes it is," she told him. "I wasn't even running. Not my fault you're slow." She nudged his arm and continued walking, slowing even more since they got into the park.

Tanya shrugged her shoulders and let out a soft and calming hum. "Perhaps," she said, almost as a joke. "Let's just take a walk." As far as he knew or she wanted him to know, nothing odd was going to be going on that day. They would take a walk, possibly go out for dinner, then return to their own homes for the night. Tanya couldn't have people over until they met her parents and close family, but that was the last thing she wanted right now. Bruce would certainly turn tail and run as soon as they met each other. Either that, or her family would shoo him away and he would be forced on the run for quite a while. "This path takes a while to go down, so we'll have plenty of time together."
