OWN ORIGINAL CHARACTERS:

ABYSS


* Abyss (Idalia Corvina) is an extremely dangerous mutant who has the ability to control the fourth state of matter; plasma. She can create it, control it, and manipulate already existing plasma. Plasma, essentially, consists of 99% of the visible universe. Her abilities include lightning, plasma blasts (that are the heat of the sun as well as can potentially cause damaging radiation), plasmic light (white light), auroras, solar flares, solar winds, nebulas, create magnetic fields, and if channelled desperately, can even cause black holes. Although she can create them, powerful magnetic fields can accelerate, steer, and control plasma. Idalia is very aggressive and extremely sarcastic in humour. A true rebel, she despises authority and plays by her own rules. *

ANIMA


* Anima is mutant who is has the ability to transfer her soul into another person’s body – as well as rob someone from their soul. Her abilities are not limited to people alone. She can transfer her soul to any living thing. When she takes over a host, that host’s appearance will change to match hers; long ghostly white hair, silver skin and ice eyes. Anima believes her mutation is a horrible curse, because although she can be virtually immortal, when she transfers her soul, she pushes out the previous soul. When she leaves her host, the host is left lifeless and their original soul cannot return to them (as regular souls do not have her ability to transfer and jump from body to body) – ultimately killing them. Her appearance is unique as her skin has engravings of dove roses that move around her skin as if they are living tattoos. She transfers hosts by the doves, that when changing bodies, leave the skin and form into real birds that fly and then tattoo themselves on their new host. Anima can see someone's soul through their eyes, and through touch can access everything from the person's emotions to their memories. She is very spiritual as she lives through the concept of afterlife and detests people who believe that with death comes nothing. Although she has never been dead before, Anima is highly connected to the spirit world. She can see ghosts of other people and can sense and see memories of the past living corresponding to the room/area she's in. Despite her unique abilities, little is known about Anima: no real name, no obvious history, and she is perceived as very mysterious and deranged to many people. *

ESSENCE


* Essence was first believed by X-Men as a mutant, but was later revealed that as an extra-terrestrial; her genetic makeup does not match even remotely close to that of a human. She suffers from chronic amnesia. She does not remember her past or where she came from. Through extensive physical screening, neuro scans show a limited memory that when reaching full capacity deletes everything and restarts. In this affect, Essence has evolved to only store important memories, thus leaving her unable to retain small, insignificant details like the color of a shirt, or the price of a coffee – making her rather ignorant at all times. Her abilities are still unknown, though whatever life she touches, particularly nature, reacts positively to her presence. Upon touching a person their tensions and stresses are uplifted for an unknown period of time. Speech is non-existent in Essence, whether it be due to her inability to speak or whether she chooses not to speak is up in the air. She is very unresponsive and although many efforts have been made to communicate with her, she seems to be wild and unable to comprehend what people are saying. *

OCULUS


* Oculus, real name Anja Fuchs, was once an ordinary woman who was recruited to be an Aufseherin; a female guard at the Ravensbrück Nazi female labor camp in WWII. The camp did medical testing on women inmates, and after a freak accident with chemicals containing a virus ended up in her eyes, she was left blind. Already plagued with guilt from her current employment, inmates were obliged to care for Fuchs and aid her in getting better. Throughout the time of her bed rest, Fuchs learned the extreme of their suffering through her own disabilities. She grew more compassionate and understanding of the injustice of the war and saw female inmates in a new equal light. Several weeks later, Oculus regained her eyesight and discovered she had yellow irises and superhuman vision, able to see hundreds of miles away in perfect detail.

At the arrival of the Ravensbrück death march, Fuchs was situated at the back of the march, where she used her enhanced vision abilities to shoot down female guards leading the front of the march. Having drawn out a map of the miles ahead of them, Fuchs plotted their freedom and allowed them to set off towards a village where the Red Cross were treating victims. Fuchs promised to protect them, and headed back to the camp where she waited for officials in order to buy the most time for those marching. Upon their (SS) arrival, she was beaten, detained and sent for medical testing where they attempted to duplicate her abilities to incorporate it in their plans for a super-soldier.

Blackmailed by Nazis, Fuchs was to kill Captain America (at a ridiculous distance) in exchange for the lives of Ravensbrück female inmates (they would be left alone to march). Unable to bring herself to kill him, Oculus snipes the scientist, who was standing next to Captain America, kills all the Nazis around her to escape. She is later discovered by Americans and placed on the Most Wanted. *

VORTEX


* Vortex, real name Inna Glyndwr, is a mutant who has the ability to create, control, and manipulate any type of fluid that contains H2O (water). Although seemingly a simple power, Inna got her infamous name, Vortex, from her pristine ability to control mass amounts of water, particular in means of destruction, like create a massive vortex, or whirlpool, that can reach unbelievable sizes and reach supernatural speeds, reportedly, up to 100 miles per hour (though many are unsure if that is even her maximum). To those who know her, Inna cannot harm a soul - she even cries if she accidentally kills a bug. She is very nurturing and loves all. Although Inna is the sweetest, most innocent and gentle character, many fear her dark side that she cannot control. Vortex was diagnosed with Intermittent Explosive Disorder at a young age, which is a combination of many behavioural problem traits that lead to wild explosions of anger. IED is, essentially, when a person is sent into an intense and violent rage, triggered by something insignificant, caused either by provocation or a misperception. Seconds prior to an outburst, Vortex's veins in her forehead flood with blood and bulge all over her face. Since water is present everywhere, these outbursts are very destructive and dangerous for those around.

After a horrible fit of rage at her prom, Vortex uncontrollably flooded her high school and drowned several dozen people. She was placed in a psychiatric hospital where she was straight jacketed and placed in a private cell with access to no water. Upon this event plastered across the news, she is discovered by Professor X and is taken out of the asylum to live at the X-Mansion where she underwent therapy to aid her condition and allow her to gain control of her mutant abilities (despite many harsh objections from other X members). Plagued with guilt from past events, Vortex was sent a deep depression which lead to her unable to control her abilities. In order to protect her from herself, Professor X blocked the traumatic memory from her mind. Although she still suffers from IED, Vortex is able to massively suppress her outbursts to only screaming - though occasionally she bursts water pipes or tidal waves a pool.

Along with IED, Inna was initially born clinically blind, or so doctors thought. Although she cannot see in air, Vortex has supernatural eyesight in water. Her irises are white, and she is unable to see clearly in oxygen, but she can make out figures and describes her air-sight as an "ever-changing abstraction of heavily smudged colours". *

PLEASE NOTE: There are many versions of certain characters and a lot of history. Backstories and plots are subject to change based on my view of the character and how I see certain information working and certain information not.

ROGUE (X-Men) x Wolverine, Loki, Thor, Captain America, or Hawkeye

* VERSION ONE: Rogue is a southern belle, mutant and adolescent who is capable of literally sucking the life out of someone through skin-to-skin contact, is able to use another person’s powers by touching them and can duplicate their abilities. She is able to absorb a person's psyche, memories, knowledge, talents, and physical abilities. Upon absorbtion, Rogue can keep those abilities for around 60 times longer than the contact time (example: 1 min = 60 min). Her powers are always active and cannot be suppressed, leaving her unable to touch anyone without eventually absorbing too much and hurting them; though some mutants have proven strong enough to resist her.

VERSION TWO: Her story can be left at that. Or, it can present more of her original character backstory. Rogue was adopted by Mystique and became a villain in the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants. In a battle with Ms. Marvel, she absorbs most Ms. Marvel’s powers and memories. Ms. Marvel’s resistance allows her to survive Rogue’s loss of absorption control. Rogue now has the ability to lift over 50 tons, fly at incredible speeds (faster than jet fighters), use a ‘seventh’ sense that is similar to Spider-Man’s senses, survive in outer space for some time, and resist venoms and toxins.

BLACK WIDOW (Natasha Romanoff) x Loki, Thor, Captain America, Iron Man, Hawkeye, or Hulk

* Natasha is a bio-enhanced human. She has a heightened healing ability compared to normal humans as well as significantly slower ageing and is invulnerable to disease. She is expert in martial arts, weaponry, espionage, and is an incredibly athlete and gymnast. She has an exceptional full-body suit with many weapons, tricks, and just about anything that relates to being an international spy. *

Human x Loki, Thor, Captain America, Iron Man, Hawkeye or Hulk

STORM x Thor, Loki, or Other

* Storm is a mutant with the ability to control the weather in every way shape or form. Her abilities are so skilled, that she can go as far as manipulating the air a person breathes, even in their lungs, and is capable of flight through controlling pressure in wind currents that she generates. Among the long list of abilities, Storm can create, manipulate and control: lightning, tornadoes, hirricanes, mist, moisture, temperatures, and rain (including acid and toxic fog). Storm, though, is very nature-connected, making the weather around her react to her emotional state. This causes her to suppress her feelings to avoid potentially horrific storms. Storm is also able to control weather on planets other than earth. She is also incredibly strong-willed, making her very resistant to psychic attacks and mind-control. *

MYSTIQUE x Loki, Wolverine, Magneto or Other

* Mystique is a mutant and shapeshifter with the ability to change her genetic material to morph and duplicate another person's physical body. She is also able to use her body to form physical objects like material (clothes), glasses, bags, etc. Although she can mimic a person, Mystique does not have the ability to become the mutant she duplicates; thus meaning she does not have their powers and abilities; only their direct appearance. Mystique is also immune to disease and is resistant to poisons; as well as is capable of changing her genetic material which allows her to remain ageless. *

SURGE x Loki or Other
SURGE ACTIVE
First: In control with the regulation through gauntlets – Second: Out of control, malfunction

* Surge is a mutant who is always absorbing electricity at all times. She is unable to control the absorption, leading to the creation of gauntlets on her arms that allow her to control it. Using the arm mechanisms, she can channel the electricity and charge it as blasts resembling to lightning. She is also able to use the electricity to enhance physical abilities like speed and agility. If she absorbs too much before releasing (blasting) Surge suffers from neuro-overload and sends her brain into over-drive; leading to fast speech, short temper, rash thinking and lessens her control. *

BLACK CAT x Captain America, Spider-man or Hawkeye

* Black Cat is a cat burglar who is following in the footsteps of her father, Walter (The Cat), who was used by the Nazis to break into the building where Steve Rogers was being formed into Captain America; where he then memorized the formula to a superhuman but refused to give the information to the Nazis. He also invented a hook device (wire) that can be used in a similar manner as how Spider-man uses his webs to swing from buildings. This device was passed down to Black Cat. Originally, Black Cat was a normal human with skilled street fighting and acrobatics, but after genetic testing she developed the subconscious ability to affect probability fields - giving enemies back luck as well as people she spent too much time with. In an attempt to rid this flaw, Black Cat underwent genetic mutation and became more like a cat; with retractable claws, superhuman endurance, speed, agility, balance, and reflexes. Unfortunately, the test backfired and bad luck curse returned to her; though she kept her cat-like abilities. *

X-23 x Wolverine, Thor, Captain America or Hawkeye

* X-23 is a female Wolverine, cloned through his genetic material. She is the same as him, except she has two claws on each hand and one on each foot. Also, her body is not completely covered in adamantium; only her claws. Adamantium is indestructible and capable of cutting through everything except for Captain America's shield, Thor's hammer, and Kiruma's skin. *

Kimura x Wolverine

* Kimura is a genetically mutated human with indestructible skin. It cannot be pierced or damaged even by adamantium (Wolverine's claws). Her personality has been completely scrapped, as well as her history with X-23 (she's a malicious, evil woman originally). The only thing this character is based off of is her indestructible skin. *

EMMA FROST x Loki or Iron Man
DIAMOND FORM

* Emma Frost is a mutant who is one of the most powerful telekinetic telepaths in the world. She is also famous for her diamond form, where her entire body turns translucent and literally becomes diamonds. In this form, she is virtually invulnerable and practically indestructible. She's also a successful business woman who owns Frost Enterprises, the key rival to Stark Enterprises. *

POLARIS x Any
POWER FORM

* Polaris (real name Lorna Dane) is a mutant and daughter to Magneto who shares similar abilities to him. She is able to see the world around her as solely magnetic patterns and fields of electrical energy, allowing her to sense and control magnetism better than her previous; Magneto. Like her father, she is also able to manipulate, move, and re-shape metals through magnetism control. Unlike her father, Polaris can actually create and generate magnetic pulses. She also has the ability to generate a force field by controlling Earth’s magnetic fields. This allows her to fly using that same concept. Despite magnetic abilities, she also has immunity to viral diseases and is able to ingest a deadly virus and spread them like a plague, with the potential to kill anyone who is not vaccinated appropriately. With that, she is able to heal from toxins and drugs extremely fast. *

DUST x Any
DUST FORM

* Dust (real name Sooraya Qadir) is a mutant from Afghanistan able to turn her body into dust particles. Her abilities were discovered as when kidnappers tried to remove her niqab, a face veil accompanied by the traditional Muslim hijab. In a state of panic and self-defence, Sooraya freaks out and strips the man’s flesh – killing him. Upon hearing about her, she is recruited by the X-Men. Although her power seems rather useless, Dust is able to virtually shred people to death by flaying their bodies in an attack through a cloud of dust. Her dust is of silicon and is very sand-like but more coarse and sharp, enabling her to use her body as a weapon. Since her particles are small, she is able to be ingested and tear up the insides including the stomach, the lungs, the nose, and even all the way up to the brain. Although she can turn into an explosion of dust, as well as a sandstorm, she can also maintain a human-bodily form. Being in her dust form makes her resistant to almost all forms of injury. She is difficult to telepathically track and if divided appropriately can become virtually invisible. *

SPIDER-WOMAN x Spider-Man, Thor, Iron Man, Hulk, Captain America, Hawkeye, or Other

* Spider-Woman (real name Jessica Drew) is a genetically engineered superhuman who is similar to Spider-Man. She has incredible endurance, strength, speed, and spider-like reflexes. Possessing similar abilities as Peter Parker, Drew can stick to anything; to all walls and to any material. She is also capable of channeling the bioelectric energy in her body to turn it into blasts that are highly poisonous and can either put someone in bodily shock or even kill them. These bolts of energy are also capable of blasting through materials like walls and metals. Due to radiation she sustained to gain her abilities, Jessica is immune to all forms of radiation as well as venoms. She is an exceptional fighter and is also capable of flight. *

SHE-HULK x Hulk, Hawkeye, Thor, or Other
NOTE: There have been changes in the story.

* She-Hulk is a superhuman who gained Hulk-like abilities from a blood transfusion from male Hulk, Bruce Banner. After Bruce is gassed and detained by government officials, blood is taken and stored for genetic testing. Upon awakening he escapes without the direct knowledge that blood had been taken from him. A vile of blood was later stolen by a doctor and was hidden in a secret room in the basement of a local hospital. The vile was found by a cleaning lady and, thinking it was just a misplaced blood donation, gave it to a nurse who then placed it in the appropriate location for blood. After successful lawyer and human Jessica Drew was gunned down in a drive-by shooting, she was hospitalized and in dire need of blood. Her rare blood type matched that of the vile, and she mistakenly received that ‘donation’. After her transfusion and recovery in the hospital, Drew soon found through police that she had been targeted by mobsters seeking revenge. When they come back to finish her off in the hospital, Jessica becomes enraged and, inevitably, transforms into her feminine Hulk form. *

BLINK x Wolverine, Sabretooth, Magneto, Iron Man, or Other

* Blink (real name Clarice Ferguson) is a powerful teleporter who can not only teleport herself alone, but others as well. Adding to that ability, she can transport and teleport mass groups of people at a time. That is only the beginning of her abilities. She is also able to teleport objects, and sizable structures or even parts of sizable structures (example: teleporting half of a building and placing it elsewhere). This also gives her the ability to teleport parts of beings, and ultimately cut up or shred people/humans. Blink also possesses the ability to create and open portals that are pink in color. She uses this power often as a defense mechanism to misplace incoming missiles or any sort of physical weapon and attack. Blink is also able to create small spear-like crystals which are able to teleport whatever they touch. These javelins can be charged to stun opponents, and although she carries pre-made ones in a quiver on her back she is capable of making them one at a time. *

MS. MARVEL x Thor, Captain America or Other

* Ms. Marvel (real name Carol Danvers) is a superhuman with incredibly enhanced strength (being able to lift dozens of tons) and can fly at exceptional speeds nearing half the speed of sound. Danvers also has a ‘seventh sense’ which enables her to sense danger and heightens her instinctual sense (similar to Spider-man’s Spidey senses). Marvel can also fire blasts of explosive, radiant energy from her fingers as well as has the ability to take in other sorts of energy like electricity; this enhances her strength to the power of a nuclear explosion. If enough energy is absorbed, Danvers can overcome huge pressure loads over 90 tons in weight and can also dish out the same power of force as an attack. As well as her superhuman capabilities, she is also an superb fighter, markswoman, and a skilled pilot. *
