Transfer Student on the Prowl

Gabriel looked back his shoulder, realizing that Alex was twenty steps behind them. He was talking to the japanese girl that fromer part of their group the day before. Alex should no know that Lillian was going. If he did, being as intelligent as he is we would at least suspected that something fishy was going on. But the danger was averted, he did not hear a thing.

-"Hello, Lillian. You had such a great duel earlier, congratulations.- He said this greeting her. -"Is just going out to the wizard city Hogsmeade, right on the low part of this very hill. A lot of exchange students and some of us will guide you thru the city and we can have a good time, pretty simple. Is this saturday, since they only let us go to the city on weekends. We are all asking you out in this one, since we go out as a group. Even Rose is asking you!

He joked at the end to make her feel at ease. Gabriel looked at Rose, as telling her to cooperate with his version. If things went right, he could make them meet somewhere outside from everyone, and Alex could make his move.

Rose nodded as Lillian looked at her. "I'll admit, Lilly. I came up with the idea in hopes you'd get comfortable. Funny thing is most of your friends are Ravenclaw and very few aare Gryffindor. So I figured you could spend your time with us. I thought it would be nice IF GABRIEL asked you to come along. Since you're trying to break from the tomboy image." She said as she looked to Gabriel as Lillian caught on to Rose's intentions.

"Rose, its sweet. If Gabriel won't invite me atleast I get to hang out with my fav Scottish girl." Lillian said as she turned from Gabriel giving Rose a evil look. "Who knows the headmaster may transffer me to your house but if he does. You won't be sleeping well at night." She teased Rose but Rose stuck her tongue out at Lillian in a teasing fashion. "So what is in Hogsmeade?" The way she said Hogsmeade it was as if she was trying to pronouce it correctly atleast but when she asked she looked to Gabriel not wanting him to feel left out atleast on this one.

-"Hogsmeade is the only all-wizarding village in Britain. It was founded by Hengist of Woodcroft. we mainly frequent the High Street in the village which contains the named specialty shops and pubs such as Zonko's Joke Shop and Honeydukes. Walking thru the woods, you can see the scary Shrieking Shack. It´s a grat place to buy things and to talk. You must at least visit it once."- Introduced Gabriel to her.

Going thru his plan in his head, Gabriel decided that for this plan to work, she must go at whatever cost, so he decided to start with a move that would asure that she went to the trip and didn´t got cold feet in the middle of the week.

-"I don´t know you want to break form the tomboy image, but if it is so important to you."- Gabriel whispered to Lilly. Moving back to his original postition he said to her: -"I would really like to come with me this weekend, I can help you out preparing all you need, and we can reunite with the others once we arrive there."

The oher part of the plan was to make Alex go, and to make them meet there. Nothing could go wrong.

Lillian froze when Gabriel moved closer to her and whispered into her ear. Though her heart was humming from this. After his invite she nodded to him as if she lost her voice. Clearing her throat as she nodded once more. "Alright." She said but noticed some of her house mates were calling her over. Silently she walked over to them and they yanked her outside.

"Gabriel, that was sweet." Rose said softly. "Also another reason she pulled the bad timing on Alex...I believe she has her eyes set on you." She said looking up at him as part of the secret was out. "Though if she gets to know Alex you never know she may fall for him or she gets to know you then....well you're intelligent to figure that out."

His eyes opened wide as Rose suggested that scenario.

-"What?! Come on, don´t be silly. She... she does not even know me and... and in th morning she was looking at Alex, and I thought... well I thought that as he had alredy asked her over..."-

He had never actually thought of her in that way. She is pretty, that was beyond any doubt and she seem very cheerful and playful. but Alex was his friend.

-"Alex is my best friend."- Began Gabriel. -" If he has eyes for her, I cannot betray him. You understand, Rose. I didn´t even think of the possibility before and now Alex wants her. I will not throw my friendship with him away for something that we don´t know if it is true. I personally don´t know her that well, really. Lets stick to the plan, Rose."

He left to reunite with Alex who had been talking to the japanese girl this whole time, and then left to their table to eat.

Rose was shaking her head as she hoped Gabriel and Lillian would talk and get to know eachother. "God Gabriel....You're such a pussy." she said it even loud enough for him to hear but she slammed her mug down and glared at him. Getting her things she walked off finding Lillian to tell her the real thing was.

The pair sat in the open grounds near the lake as Rose told the truth about the so called plan.

"So there wasn't a celebration for exchange students...It was a ploy from you to get me and Gabriel to talk and get to know eachother. He turned it around to set me up with Alex...." Lillian repeated it with her falling back in the soft grass feeling lost.

"I told Gabriel you may have eyes for him and he brushed it off saying he can't betray Alex. He rather put himself last and suffer to see his friends happy.

"Either way...I'm still going but not with either of them, Rose." Lillian got to her feet and walked back inside seeing the group was there. Instead of sitting with Gabriel and Alex she went to her own table and sat down alone with her nibbling on a dinner roll. Day two was just as foggy as ever perhaps her setting her eyes on Gabriel and he shot her down before she could even find out who he was and was placing her in Alex's line of fire. She tried beinng friends with the man she thught of being more assertive with but he brushed her off, so now what? Round two? Sighing as she rubbed her head with ther being a sharp pain. Behind her a 7th year student with blonde hair walked up behind her. His Slytherin crest shined with the 0pin of being Perfect.

"I see you're not feeling well, Ms Lillian." He said as his blue eyes looked into her confused green orbs.

"You're right I'm not...." she said softly as he sat next to her but without another touch she fell against his chest. The boy smirked as he ran his thumbs along the back of her neck as if to ease her aches away. He and a few other boy noticed Alex's rejection and the Guardian Gabriel trying to fix it all of course they thought of tossing their plans into the trash this weekend.

History of Magic class was the perfect place to talk, becuase as long as you kept your voice down, professor Binns continued talking ignoring everyone. Thet ws when Gabriel decided to talk to Alex about the plan.

-"There is a trip to Hogsmeade this weekend, and I think that we should go with the group. There would be a lot of exchange students, and maybe we can chat with Lillian."- Gabriel finished the sentence winking an eye to Alex, who looked the other way and changed the expression in his face to a more concerned one.

-"Well... about that... I´m going this weekend, but not with the group."- seeing Gabriel´s confused face, he added: -"I invited Kumi Hikaru, the japanese girl that was on our group, remember her?"-

-"Of course I remember! When did this happen? I thought that you were after Lillian."- Gabriel replied with an angry voice.

-"Don´t be mad at me! After Lilly turned me down, I began talking to her, and she seems like a really nice girl. I don´t know what your problem is. That´s what I´m gonna do anyway, so you can´t change my mind."-

Near dinner time, Gabriel looked for Rose to tell her that the plan was going to be a mess, when moving along the tables, he saw Lillian VERY close to a Slytherin student. "Well, she got company easily." Gabriel thought. He approached Rose.

-"I was going to tell you that Alex was going out with another girl this weekend, and that perhaps she could come with us, but I have seen that she has found company very fast. It´s ok. She needs friends here, any kind of friends."-

As he finished talking to Rose, he sat with his friends to eat.

With Gabriel just walking away Rose grabbed his ear forcing him to follow her out the door to the silent halls. "You need to stop telling us things then leaving!" She snapped at him after she released his ear. "I told Lilly the plan this afternoon. You're more than welcomed to join us and you know that Snake charmer can seduce any woman into bed and she's on his list!" She snapped at him but got still as Lillian walked out of the great hall seeing the two of them.

"Hey...Rose..Are you ok?" She asked with a slight smile but noticed Gabriel's ear was bit red and she put it together that Rose was being agressive. "Gabriel, can we talk? In private?" Lillian asked and Rose took the hint to leave them alone. Once they were Lillian beckoned him to follow her out the front doors where they couldn't be overheard. "I found it sweet you were...trying to set me up with Alex but the problem is...I want to know him and you before I even go on a date with anyone." she said as she tied her hair back from her face. "Understand what I'm saying? I want to get to know the guy first before I go on the date. Besides that Slytherin...Donn't get jealous if he has the balls to make the move first." she said to Gabriel but smirked. "Though I have to admit I admire Alex for being bold yesterday so where do you stand?" She asked as she walked down the steps heading to the fence where the Hippogriffs were settled in for the night.

Alone she stood there at the fence just watching them. Some still moved about trying to make their beds but the one who took off with her clicked to her. "Hey there big guy." She said as she smiled at him. "Night." She said as she walked away from the fence knowing she should get inside shortly but the crisp night air was wonderful.

This was getting very out of hands. If the first week of school was like this, Gabriel did not even want to imagine what would later come.

-"Wait... Just wait."- Gabriel walked towards Lilly. -"Everybody seems to be scolding me for something, every time. And I have the feeling that some things are not going the way I like, or that I should feel guilty about some things."- He stopped to think the next phrase. -"But I don´t. I did what any real friend would have done. I made that choice thinking that it was the right thing to do, but there was an unexpected turn of events, and now is to confusing to keep going. i am going to do what I always do with a problem I don´t know have to resolve. I will face it.

Gabriel walked towards her.

-"Do you want to come with me to Hogsmeade this weekend or have you amde up your mind to go with that charming snake? The best thing I can do now is to ask you straigh, for you to clear things up."-

He looked at her waiting for her answer.

"For me to clear things up? Gabriel, I am not interested in that boy. God, I'm friends with people like that so I know when their tricks are being used on me." She said with a smike as she approached Gabriel and took his hands into her own but she looked up at him. "I'll go with you. If you promise to allow me to get to know who you are. I know the first week is crazy but when things settle down and Rose stops yanking your ear then we have know something new about eachother." She said with a smile as she released his hands.

"I will have to admit both you and Alex were equal on the dating part." she said as she tugged his robes for them to go inside. "I mean both of you are cute and charming but being new to-" She stoppped there as her mouth went dry as she remembered Rose knew her secret. Clearing her throat as she looked over her shoulder at him. "New to such surroundings..." she struggled to cover up the slight error she came close to revealing her secret.

Gabriel looked at her in her eyes as she spoke her whole speech.

-"Sure, I promise."- Gabriel said as he completed the date offer.

This was more simple now, just what he needed. He looked at her as she tugged his clothes. He had never actually looked at her. She was a very pretty lady. And she had nice eyes. He shook this thought off his head, and raised an eyebrow as she seemed to swallow her tongue in the middle of the last sentence.

-"Well, I am grateful that you think that way of us. In fact, Alex is going to be cute and charming with Kumi Hikaru this weekend."- He said with a playful face. -"Maybe that is why he fell the other day."

"Honestly...I think the reason he asked me out was to get close to Kumi." She said as she walked beside him grateful he didn't press the error further. "I just thought he was being himself earlier when he fell." She said with a smile as she wasn't sure what to say now. With her entering the castle she heard everyone chattering from the Great Hall.

"Don't know but I'm hungry and....I got something planned." She gave him a evil smile as she had something planned on a few people in the Great Hall, pranks of course. Slipping inide as she moved to her table where she sat down among the students but soon Rose yelled with her jumping to her feet pudding had blasted into her face. When Rose was talking to Gabriel earlier she slipped something in the pudding where the compound of the spoon was introduced there would be a blast at the person's face.

Gabriel waved her goodbye, and moved to his table. As he sitted, he recieved a hudred questions from some of her girl housemates. The boys on the table looked in shock between them as the questions were flying towards Gabriel at an outstanding speed. The girls wanted to know what they were talking about, why did they have to go outside. He just answered that he had offered his help before, and that he was just answering some of her questions. This appeared to settle them down a bit.

Alex was laughing from his seat and imitating the upset girls. Everybody began to laugh. That was the kind of atmosphere Gabriel liked. He had just to wait until the weekend now to go out with Lilly.

Wtih Rose getting messy she walked out with everyone enjoying their meals. After while Lilly was done and tired soon she got up and walked towards her dorm room. She wasn't nervous about this weekend but she was happy how things turned out or straighten out.

The rest of the week went on without much excitement. The Slytherin boy escorted Lillian a few times from clasas to class trying to gain any length he could with her. Though it was the other night she learned this boy was into sex a great deal and he'd charm girls into giving themselves willingly. Lillian was keeping this one at a distance.

When the weekend came around Rose and Lillian were sitting on the front steps. Rose in her skirt and shirt, Lillian was in her jeans, high heeled boots and a teal shirt. "So he's still after you?" Rose asked as she noticed the same boy heading their way.

"How about I escort you girls to Hogsmeade?" He asked with a charming voice as he stroked Rose's cheek only to be smacked away.

"Actually, Gabriel asked me eariler this week and Jose asked Rose last night." Lillian said sweetly as a Spainard boy walked out but when he heard his name he walked over with Rose jumping up and laced her arm around his own. Soon Lillian was left alone with the Slytherin Perfect though she got to her feet dusting her rump offand he left her alone. Sighing in relief that he actually gave up for the day. "Not today or ever.." She muttered softly.

After a corridor and two doors, Gabriel saw her sitting on the begginig of the stairs. He silently walked them down, and placed a hand beside her to help her stand up.

-"Sorry, I am kind of late. Someone threw all the contents I had in my trunk all around my room."-

He was wearing black trainers, a nice dark blue jeans, a green shirt and a Ravenclaw sweater. He had a coat in one hand.

-"You look very pretty."- He then looked at her and added: -"You better bring something else to warm you up. Hogsmeade has some cold and unpredictable winds."

As they started walking towards the ride that would have let them there, he told her about the strange incident in his room that morning. He woke up when he had heard a loud explosion sound, and the next thing he saw were all the things he had in his trunk flying and faling all around. It seems like pranks had no limits in Hogwarts.

Lillian summoned an old coat of hers from the dorm window. "Don't worry...Sounds odd they went after your trunk." she said as she walked with him to the carriage. Slipping in as she placed her jacket across her lap. "I found why that Slytherin guy has been after me all week. He's found out what I am." She said with a slight blush.

"So what is this town like? Keeps us students out of trouble if possible?" she asked with a slight laugh though it bothered her why was Gabriel targeted for a prank like this.

Gabriel opened the carriage door and let her enter it first. He was about to answer her question, when he realized what she had said before. He moved his eyes down, to lok at her face and saw the red hue covering her features.

-"He has found out what you are? What are you?"-

He did not look mad, but rather curious as that was a very odd statement to make.

"A virgin." She said with her looking over at him. "I was told he targets easy women and virgins." She said with her shrugging her shoulders. "I was going to let it slip the other night but didn't know how you'd react about it." After that she waved it off.

"I didn't see Alex or Kumi did they leave early or still behind us?" She asked trying to change subject atleast.

Gabriel smiled at her as she confessed her virginity. He thought that her secret was something worse, like that she has a horrible disease or a curse ha would kill her. He even laugh a little as she was making such problem over it. In the end she even let it out fast.

-"Hahaha, Lilly, that is not something to be ashamed off. It is the sign that you were well raised and that you respect and trust yourself. Furthermore, I will tell you a secret..."- He leaned forward to whisper in her ear. -"I´m a virgin too. Please don´t tell this to anybody. The jokes on me would be endless."

He then looked at her in her eyes as to seal the secret, and began answering her other question:

-"They left REALLY early. I am not aware of what Alex is planning to do, they would have seen the hole area by noon."

When he told her his little secret she looked up at him surprised to find him looking in her eyes. Smiling as she nodded to him. "I guess our secrets are the same but the result is...different. You'd be teased while girls...well we become targets." She said with a shrug. "I didn't want you guys to know and become a target." She said with a slight smile. "I can duel some guys off but I know there is someone here whose better than me so I'm glad I can count on you." A smile crossed her lips as she settled back in the seat with her running her hand over his shoulder to show she does count on him when things do get rough.

"Well, I hope those two have fun. Rose said we can find her at the candy shop?" she said as she didn't know the name but knew the theme of the shop since Rose explained it over breakfast.

-"I don´t think I would be teased by girls as they know it. I believe I would be kind of a joke. Even Alex had had some experience, but... I don´t know. I never felt like I had the right time, plus I´m really busy with my research... It has not been just the right time, yet."- Gabriel grabbed her hand as she put it in his shoulder. -"I am glad that you think that way."-

He looked at her for a moment before clearing his throat to break the sudden silence and thought about what was Rose refering to.

-"Oh, yes. She must have meant Honeydukes, he most awesome, big and fun candy shop in all of Britain... What am I saying, in the whole word! They have millions of chocolate frogs, color-swapping lollipops, super-explosive gums and so much more!"-

Gabriel sounded like a child as he described what the place offered. The carriage was almost getting to its destination.

Lillian felt him grabbing her hand and the sudden silence. She didn't blush as she was determined to get over her shyness towards men. Slowly she slipped her hand from his own and looked to the morning sky until he mentioned Honeydukes. She couldn't help but laugh at his description of the place and how excited he got while talking about it.

"Whoa! Easy Gabriel, it sounds like you're getting a sugar high from just telling me about this." She said as the road that was grassy turned into soild road. "What research are you doing?" She asked trying to get him to relax and ease the slight tension there was when he revealed his own secret to her. When they arrived at Hogsmeade she got to her feet and stepped by him to step down from the carriage. Standing there she noticed the large amount of students there but Rose spotted her and whistled to get Lillian's attention and beside her was the Spainard.

Gabriel laughed nervously as he put himself together again. He had so many good memories in Honeydukes, from his parents taking him there when he was very little, to his friends reunions when they were old enough to travel on their own.

-"I apologize. It is one of my most favourites spots on this planet. You will understand when we get there."

He took a couple of seconds to think of a way to tell her his research with her understanding it.

-"I was doing a project about wands on my fourth year, and I really loved the subject. I was reading book, after book, after book, when I suddenly came with an idea to improve them. I have been working on it ever since, and I am really close."-

Gariel waved his hand to Rose as she called them and walked besides Lilly to approach her and his companion. He seemed foreing as well.

Lillian was curious on how he could improve wands. "But how could-"

"Finally!" Rose said as she walked over hugging Lillian. "I was wondering if you two will ever get here." She said smiling at thhem both. "I noticed Alex is getting rather friendly with Kumi."

"Very.." Jose said with him shaking his head. "But she invited the action by wear such short skirt and dragging him off." He shuddered clearly he liked his own gender bit more than a woman.

Lillian laughed but slipped her arm around Gabriel's with her leaving Rose. "Well,, good but Gabriel promised me that he'd show me Honeydukes. We'll catch up with you both later on." She said as Rose nodded but moved with Jose to the tavern.

Seeing Alex on a dat was rather funny. He always got so nervous trying to please them, that he ended up in confusing situations or vey complex problems that took over an hour to explain. What is more, if Kumi is dressing provocatively, things could go downhill really fast. Gabriel wished he could put himself together and have a good evening.

He grabbed her arm as she slipped hers in his and began walking towards Honeydukes as he waved Rose goodbye. While walking he gave Lilly a brief history lesson about Hogsmeade. Seeing that he sounded as a professor, he dismissed the topic, getting a little blush.

The town was crowed with students and other people, as it was the weekend. Some places looked very crowded, and all the streets had small groups of wizards coming and going. They arrived at Honeydukes, and the enurmes sign welcomed them as the walked past the door. There were shelves upon shelves of the most succulent-looking sweets imaginable. In addition to the standard wizarding candy that is sold there, the owners also make their own fudge and chocolate. For obvious reasons, the shop is quite a popular destination for Hogwarts students when visiting Hogsmeade on the weekends.

-"So, what do you think?"-
