The air was crisp as the smoke from the express train columned out of its smoke stack. Parents stood on the platforms saying their farwells to their children but there was a few who were transfer students who were left to their own devices.

The ride took hours as one student was sitting awkardly among the british students as she was an american student. Her long soft brown hair was braided back from her face with her emerald eyes sparkling. For once she was out of her element as her paid skirt was hemmed up to her mid thigh to reveal she was a runner or overall active person. Her white shirt revealed her full ample breasts and her tiny waist line. The boys were trying to make her comfortable but they were failing but their female classmates smacked them for their agressive behaviors.

Lillian smiled as she came from a long line of witches and "Wiccans". So she didn't have a drop of normal blood in her. When the train stopped she got to her feet and walked arm and arm with a red haired girl who sounded scottish but she's been to Hogswarts since she was 12 years old.

The hunter's moon was out as it lite the area up with Lillian entering the halls for the first time as candles floated above their heads but her strides were filled with confindence but deep down she was scared and excited at the same time. Soon she was left alone with the other transfer students waiting to be placed among the four houses.

-"Are you sure you don´t want to give up, Alex? This match was settled the moment you moved you first pawn."

Laughter from his friends filled the train compartment and put the perfect ending to Gabriel´s comment. He also laugh, seeing how his hot headed friend Alex grew red in anger. It was the fourth match in a row he had won, and Alex hated to lose. Despite always losing to Gabriel, they always ended up joking together, as they have been friends since the first day they entered Hogwarts. Gabriel was in Ravenclaw. He thought that there wasnot a better house than his: full of great, friendly people, interested in knowledge and always willing to talk and discuss.

Gabriel stood up and streched his 5´11" body. His back was a little stiff from being sit most of the journey. Once they entered the compartment, Alex had taken the board and challenged him for 6 chocolate frogs. Now he had lost 24 frogs. Gabriel knew that he would not eat them, and that in the end he would just share them with the rest of his friends. He was using the trip to catch up the latest news about the friends he had not seen on holidays, and he could not help but listen to all the gossip the girls were chatting over (gossip mostly from girls who lived in another houses, he noticed).

He took the last part of the trip to change and prepare for the Great Hall First Dinner, as it was programed every year. He put on his shirt, his Hogwarts uniform, and combed his short and straight black hair. He looked in the mirror his strong jaw and his big but elegant nose. His blue eyes suddenly noticed that a little brown thing was walking just at the other side of the door. When he opened the dressing room door, he smiled at all the 24 frogs jumping around in the compartment. Another tipical joke from Alex. He joined the frog hunt, just as his other friends were.

The Great Hall looked spotless as always, and the enchanted roof looked like a beautiful night that time. He sat by his friends at the Ravenclaw table, and began talking again, waiting for the Sorting Hat to select the first year kids. He was always so happy to return to Hogwarts, he was in 6th year, and knew that next year was going to be the last... But he shook this thought off his mind, he would worry about it in the future, right now, all he had to do is to enjoy the moment.

Lillian heard of the four houses and Slytherin was the worst one to be in and Gryffindor was their rivalo while the other two "forgotten" in a way. While the first years were handled first the head master stood up from his massive chair.

"Students, I welcome you back for another year. As you may have noticed some of your friends aren't here to join us. For the first time in centuries we have introduced a program on transferring students from other countries....Now if you please..." He said as the older students ranging from the 6th year to the 7th year walked down between the tables. The scottish girl who was close to Gaberial smiled.

"Hope you make it to Ravenclaw, Lilly!" She cried out as other students clapped.

Lillian looked to the red haired girl and smiled but her eye did catch Gaberial of course though looked away with her approaching the three legged stool. One by one the seven students placed the hat on then was sorted. Soon Lillian was placed under the hat.

"Well, what an interesting young woman....I've ran across your kind before... Hard to place you isn't it?" The hat chuckled with it swaying side to side as if trying to decide where to place the mysterious woman. "GRYFFINDOR!" It shouted to the top of its "lungs" and soon it was yanked off her head. The people at her table clapped as her friend she made on the train was sitting beside the table. Once she jumped off the stool she walked to an empty seat where her friend pouted at her playfully.

"Oh Lil! I wanted you to be in my house." She said in her scottish accent but she giggled as Llillian poked her side.

"Oh hush atleast I didn't end up in Slytherin." Lillian commented but Rose, the scottish girl, gave Lillian a look which told Lillian she became a target just because she was placed in the Rival's house.

Ravenclaw got the least amount of new students, but that was normal: Ravenclaw prefers cuality over quantity. Five boys and six girls were introduced to the table. Gabriel welcomed them and then dedicated his time to watch the new transfer students. He knew exactly that it had been more than a century from the last exchange, that ended pretty bad with confrontations all over the school (He had studied it in Mage History class). So, Mrs. McGonagall decided to put it back on track. They were only seven, but every change must be sized and studied, at least, that is what Gabriel thought.

The food was spectacular, as always, and he ate until he could not put another piece in his mouth. He stayed on the table talking for some more, and then walked up to the tallest tower in the school, were the Ravenclaw Dormrooms were.

-In a year, some months have 30 days, while some have 31. Guess, which month has 28 days? - Asked the guarding statue by the door.
-All of them have 28 days.- Answered Gabriel, amused by the question.

The door opened and he wen straight to bed. He was eager to start studying again, and wondered what would he discover in his first day. He fell asleep thinking about this.

Lillian sat there looking at the food but she ate so little which was normal for her. Shortly she walked up to the tower with the other students. Once she entered she noticed it was dark and gloomy compared to her home. Sighing softly as she was missing home but she volunteered for this. Silently she walked to the girls' dorm and stripped down like the other girls. Some asked about her country while others teased on her accent.

"Really now?" She soon spoke with a british accent and the girls giggled asking her to do another as it seemed they haven't run into anyone who could copy accents within moments of hearing it. Lillian slipped into her pj pants and sports bra with her getting in bed telling them what her home was like and such but soon a brown tabby cat leaped into her bed and nuzzled up to her. The cat was called Romeo for his affectionate behavior. The cat was purring with her wrapping her arm around him and the girls were asleep.

When morning came Lillian was among the first down in the great hall sporting her house's crest on her chest. Beside her was the stack of books and in her hand was the list of classes. "Huh...a class with creatures. That should be interesting..." she said as she nibbled on a strip of bacon not knowing she was the only Gryffindor there and the group of Slytherins were already eyeing her and planning on a way to break her.

The first class was Magical Creatures, on the border of the Forgotten Forest. Profesor Hagrid was one of the nicest proffesors around, and his expertice came from direct contact with the beasts, so he knew a lot and made them learn a lot.

It was a mixed class between Griffindor students and Ravenclaw students. It was rather full of people, but as the classes were outside, they had a lot of space. The sky was blue and the sun began shining upon them as Hagrid welcomed them.

-"Allo, and welcom´ to a new year in Hogwarts. A lot of you, lads, now me from previous years, for thos´ who dennae know me, I´m Rubeous Hagrid."

We clapped at his presentation and the followed him towards a group of fences. When they arrived, Gabriel eyes shined as they saw his favorite beast inside: hippogriffs.

-"I though of givin´you all a nice start, allright. You will be working with mixed groups, and you will take turns tryin´to mount it, so, com´on! Groups of two by two."- Said Hagrid in his loud harsh voice.

Gabriel did not have any problem with that, Gryffindor and Ravenclaw got together nicely, so working with them would not be very difficult. As the groups formed, Gabriel and Alex ended up with two Gryffindor girls, one of them was one of the exchange students.

-"Hello."- Gabriel said to both. -"I´m Gabriel and this is my friend Alex. It is a pleasure to meet you."

Lilloian followed one of the exchange students who was a japanese girl. Though Lillian didn't say much to her nor did she in return but once outside she noticed some creatures she wasn't familiar with. With the bird like heads and horse like hind quarters she thought this creature got the bad end when it was created.

Standing there at the fence with her listening to Hagrid as she was amazed by his size alone. Though when he instructed them to get into pairs she and the Japanese girl turned seeing the two Ravenclaw boys walking over to them. Lillian smiled as the Japanese girl bowed her head slightly. "I'm Lillian and she's Aiko." Lillian said as she stepped to Gabriel's side but she looked at the hippogriffs. "How do you mount them? I'm use to a Pegasus..." She asked Gabriel with her soon looking up at him as she was perhaps a few months younger than him.

Gabriel vowed to the japanese girl to complete the greeting, and smiled to Lilly as he was not sure how she was with personal contact stuff and such. He saw Alex making a fool of himself, as he bowed he slipped and fell to the ground. When the laughs stopped, he answered Lilly´s question.

-"You must walk slowly towards him, and make a reverence. the creature will inspect you with his eyes, if he trusts you, he will reverence as well and let you touch him. If it walks beside you as you caress it, he will let you mount him. It is different from pegasus because pegasus are breed to mount, while the hippogriffs are savage creatures of the forest, willing to share if they like. It is like the difference between a dog and a cat. Here, let me see if I can do it right."

Gabriel passed over the fence in one agile movement, and walked towards a brown feathered one slowly. he beast was looking around, and it pierced Gabriel with its eyes as they were only 6 feet apart from one another. He bowed and slightly looked at the creature, to know if it would do the same. The hippogriff looked at him from head to toes. A minute passed with them in utter silence, until the beast moved its head down and bowed to him. Gabriel approached and movd his hand down the creature´s head, who closed its eyes as it was enjoying it. A few moments later, it walked beside him, and Gabriel got up, hugged the hippogriff by the head and got down, returning to the group. Alex high-fived him as he jumped the fence again.

-"Remember to scratch it behind the head, they love that."- He said to them. Alex followed, trying to impress the ladies (as always). It took him a longer time to touch the hippogriff, and it did not let him ride. He still looked very happy about his progress.

Gabriel looked at the girls and encouraged them to enter with a move of his head.

Lillian did giggle at Alex's move towards the Japanese girl but watched Gabriel handle the hippogriff. Smiling as he made it look so easy but these creatures were native to this area. With help from another Gryffindor student he helped her and Aiko through the fence. Slowly Lillian approached the furtherest Hippogriff, a black feathered one. Lillian was in awe of its beauty as she bowed to him but her eyes looked up at him from the bowed position.

The massive creature growled slightly and she could hear Hagrid comment to Lillian to back off. In which was about to take a step back on instruction but something kept her there. In moments the rough Hippogriff bowed back to her but growled softly at her as if warning her. "What has gotten you so mad?" She asked softly with her approaching the creature slowly as she took the massive beak in her hands. Gently her finger tips ran over its forehead right between his eyes but she noticed his eyes shifting to his left hindleg. He wasn't putting weight on it and from Lillian's experience of helping animals, he was hurt. Ignoring Aiko's scared attempt to get close to a Hippogriff Lillian moved along the creature's side with her wand out she casted a spell which was minor but it healed the muscle that had the deep tissue bruise. Once it was healed the Hippogriff turned sudden and thrust its head between her legs and threw her on its back and took off. "AH! Gabriel!" She yelled out to her partner as she held on the Hippogriff and the other held her skirt down. "Why is a skirt part of the uniform?" She asked herself to lighten the mood but it was hard to hold on to two things.

A few students were inside the fence and trying to approach the hippogriffs. From outside, Gabriel watched the two girls of his group and how did they do it. He stood up for a moment when Hagrid yelled at Lilly to back off. An angry hippogriff is something to fear. Luckily, it bowed and she could approach it. Gabriel sighed in relief. He also saw how she approached the beast and that she made some movements with her wand. Whatever she did, the hippogriff suddenly picked her up on the back of its neck and suddenly took off.

Everyone looked at the scene, open-mouthed. Hagrid´s classes had always been known for their lack of security. Nothing wrong usually happened, but this could be very, very dangerous. If the girl did not know how to grab to it correctly as it ascended, she could fall to her death.

There was not a lot of time to think, and as everyone stood petrified, Gabriel got an idea. He ran to the oposite side of the fence, where some apples were storaged to feed the creatures. He took the barrel lid and his wand.

-"Argentum Aqua!"- He shouted.

The whole surface of the lid became shiny, as it was covered in silver. He grabbed an apple, and used his other hand to reflect the sun in the lid so the hippogriff could see that way. Gabriel knew that hippogriffs had an excelent sight, so if he could get its attention, it would see the apple and hopefully it would fly down.

It did. As the creature approached, Hagrid ran to Gabriel´s side. Once the creature landed, he grabbed Lilly and got her down. The hippogriff was happily eating the apple from Gabriel´s hand.

-"I otta say lad, that was som´ impressive thinkin´. Twenty points for Ravenclaw. Are you arright, lady?"- Hagrid asked with a concerned voice.

Soon she forgot to hold her skirt down and just held on. After awhile she was enjoying herself but she was soon brought in on a rough landing and yanked off by Hagrid. "I'm fine....Didn't expect him to take off with me that soon." She said with a smile with her wiggling out of Hagrid's gaint hands and walked over to the Hippogriff. She ran her hand over his neck hearing him munch on the apples. "I don't suspect sitting side saddle would have helped either?" She asked as she looked to Gabriel but soon the Hippogriff rubbed his cheek against her cheek. "Thank you Gabriel. I owe you one." She said with her rubbing the creature's ear.

Lillian was at home in the skies when she was prepared example, jeans and a shirt. Though having to wear such a delicate uniform for a female student just made things harder for her to be rebellous or just jump into action.

Gabriel cleaned his hand from the apple juices that the hippogriff left.

-"You owe me nothing. I´m at your service for whatever you need. Is our obligation towards the exchange students."

he then could not speak over the sound of all his Ravenclaw classmates talking to him and congratulating him. He was suddenly surrounded by them and as Hagrid dismissed the class (shouting over their voices) the group escort him to his next class, not letting him say goodbye.

The rest of the morning went uneventful, he had Potion class with some Hufflepuff students. Proffesor Slughorn tried to invite him to his private club yet again. Gabriel had rejected this invitation countless times, since he considered that any club who kept its benefits to few, was a waste.

He quickly finnished his meal and left to the library. He had been studying some new spells last year, and he had to leave his research since he had to go back to his house for the holidays. But now he had a whole new year to work, and he was not going to waste it.

Lillian was pushed away from Gabriel by some of the girls who awed over him. Sighing as she was the first to take off from class. Transformation was interesting as she was with Slytherin and it took her abit not to use her home spells against them but once class was over she vanished. When lunch came around she went in seeing Gabriel eatting but she grabbed an ornage and left without saying a word. The rest of the day she had off so she went to her dorm room and changed into shorts and a tank top with sneakers.

Once dressed she grabbed her broom and flew out the window. There she went speeding around the castle walls with the whipping willow lashing out at her a few times. The tree just made it more amusing though she was soon hovering with her legs hooked around the broom stick as she went over the lake soon the ornage was eatten and the peel was gone. "Now...Lets go.." She said as she swung up with the stick under her feet with her speeding across the lake's surface. She was laughing in pure delight as the stress of the day was gone and she could take things in stride. Once she had her fill she went and grabbed her books from her dorm room and headed to the library.

There she entered the silent department seeing books flying over head. Smiling as she found a lone table that was empty and sat down with her looking through her creatures book taking notes but with the notes she drew the creatures to keep it fresh in her mind.

Writing and reading and thinking and looking. Some hours later, Gabriel´s head was a mess. He was really tired. Those spells he had been developing were very mind consuming. He streched and rubbed his eyes, closed his note book and put away the huge book mountain that had been growing in front of him. Some details about the spells were not covered in most books, and it had been becoming a real pain to search for references. Maybe he had to start working on a whole different angle.

Inmersed in his thoughts, he walked by a table on his way out and knocked it a little.

-"Excuse me." -He said in a distracted voice.

Then he looked again and saw Lilly in that very table, reading.

-"Oh. Hello, again." -He said with a smile.- "How is the first day treating you?"

Gabriel moved the books in his arms to make it more confortable to hold them while he talked, as he had taken most of the from a site near the entrace, and stopped to chat at her table.

Lilly gasped as her table was bumped and thought it was someone trying to get her attention. "Look I'm-" She stopped to see Gabriel standing there but she waved her wand with his books floating out of his arms but just hovered.

"Honestly, could have gone better. After being pushed aside from your awing fans. Had to keep myself from sending a few snakes flying." She said with her closing her books and grabbed her papers. There she moved ahead of him with her locks of hair flowing over her shoulders. His books didn't move with her but was waiting for him to direct them. Though she looked over her shoulder at him in a way she wanted to be friends with him but she never got along with the popular people. "Sorry just...never got along with people who was popular. To much influence over everyone else." She said shrugging knowing there was a game among their peers she just needed to know what it was and how to play.

Gabriel´s smile dissapeared as he heard her complain. He then realized that it must be hard to be on your own on a new place, and having difficulties the very first day.

-"I´m sorry."- He said in a soft way. -"I never wanted you to feel cast aside today. It was not my idea for them to come, and sometimes they can be kind of harsh, but it was just because they were happy for me. We always celebrate each other´s success. Don´t take this as a parameter, we are all very friendly, I tell you. I´m not even that popular, I have friends, but no fans or something alike. But I know that I have to give you your space, so no hard feelings if you do not want to talk to me."

He then finished putting his books away, moved his head as waving a goodbye to Lilly and walked down the hall and up the stairs. He walked the distance between the library and Ravenclaw´s tower thinking over what would it be like to be completely alone in another place.

Just by the door, he met with Alex, who came from working in an astronomy project for this year.

-"Friend, guess what."- Said in a happy voice. -"i´m gonna ask the new girl out! The one who was with us on the group!"

-"You mean the japanese one?"- Gabriel replied remembering the fall and laughing again

-"Ha, ha, very funny. No, the other one, the one who got away flying. I had been seeing her since she arrived, and today when she got down the bird, I was stunned."

-"Maybe you should ask her another day."- Seeing his confused face, Gabriel added: -"I saw her in the library, and she was pretty stressed about her first day, maybe you should wait until tomorrow..."

-"No way, man."- Alex said amused. -"I am what she need to relax. I am going to ask her tonight, at dinner."

Gabriel gave him a "better be good" look and walked to prepare for dinner.

Once more he walked away before she could say another word. "Brits...." She sighed but ran into the scottish girl who was smirking. "ROSE!"

"Ay! I think you like Gabriel..." The red haired girl teased as the pair walked out with Lillian shaking her head.

"Rose, he's a nice guy and all but I'd like to talk to him...But it seems the girls here don't care." Lillian sighed with her rubbing her eyes with the pair heading to the great hall.

"Lassie, let me guess you were one of the guys back home? Still a virgin?" Rose asked only to see Lillian suddenly got blood red but Rose sealed her lips. "Time to come out of your shell don't you think?" She asked as the girls smiled at the new found secret but when they arrived at the great hall Rose yanked Lillian down at the Ravenclaw table where the pair exchanged notes from their classes. "I heard of your adventure with the Hippogriff..." Rose asked as Lillian started laughing. Lillian laughed as she remembered her troubles.

"Yeah, Gab helped out since he and this other guy paired up with us. How do you fly wearing a skirt?" Lillian asked as Rose pulled out a safety pin. Lillian felt so silly about something so simple that she forgot about it. Sitting there talking to Rose, her first friend she made, got her to forget her troubes and soon Gabriel.

-"There she is, man."- Said Alex, excited. -"I´m going, I tell you I´m going."

-"Trust me, you do not want to... Alex... ALEX!" -Shouted Gabriel as his friend tok courage and began walking towards Lilly.

Gabriel faceplamed him, and looked at the whole scene from his table. He could not hear what he said over the noise that the place had. But he could see how the happy and confident face of Alex became a serious, sick grin. The conversation was short, and when Alex came back he sat, completely defeated on his seat again.

-"Don´t worry, I´m sure that..."

-"Don´t even think about telling me "I told you so". I was so close."- Interrupted Alex.

Gabriel shrug and talked to other people on the table. He knew Alex better than anybody, and knew that he had to leave him alone for a while. He would recover soon enough and be the same cheerful and dedicated Alex that he knew.

A moment later, he realized how tired he was. Tomorrow, the double clases would start, and they were going to have to study from morning til sunset. He said goodbye and began dodging people to reach the door of the great hall and finally go to bed.

When Alex came over she looked up smiling at him. Though she was shocked he asked her out right there that she didn't know what to say other than not interested for the time being. Dinner went on as usual but when Lilly saw Gabriel taking off she managed to get loose and reach him.

"Hey Gabriel.." She called out to him as the pair reached the quiet halls. "You know those fans I was talking about? I don't think you realize but you have a few girls after you." She said with a slight smile with her looking down but forced herself to look at him. "I do want to be friends with you. I shouldn't have assumed you were Mr. Popular since you have ten girls crushing on you." She pointed out to him with a slight smirk. "Those snakes I mentioned....I figured you knew it was Slytherin I was talking about not any of your house mates...And I'm rambling." She said with a shy smile but her being nervous was starting to get ahold of her.

"Lilly!" Rose yelled out as she ran up with Lilly's books and notes. "You left these behind." She said but as she gave them back then turned to leave she pinched Lilly's rump in a playful manner which made Lilly jump a foot in the air.

Lilly turned red as she held her books in her arms but looked to Gabriel. "Also...tell Alex I'm sorry...Bad timing you know." She said with her blushing a deep red with her thinking she may have done enough damage and placed her foot inher mouth several times that it left a bad taste in her mouth.

Thinking about where he had left his bloody gloves (Was it the trunk or the wardrobe? Did he even pack them?) Gabriel was dodging every person in the other tables and reached the Hall´s door. That is when he heard someone calling his name. He turned around in the begining of the hall, and to his surprise, it was Lillian who called him. He waited for her as she ran towards him.

He listened to her as she talked about his fans wih a rather confused face, which she must have guessed since she admitted that she was rambling about it.

-"O... ok. I do not think that they are after me in a romantic kind of way, I believe that they are really friendly, they always want to help me with my things."- He remembered countless time in which girls from his house and from other houses helped him. -"Everyone here is pretty friendly, except, as you ahve noticed, House Slytherin. But if they are being really rude to you, you can always talk to me or to anyone here, and trust me, we will not hesitate to act in your defense. Not that you really need it, you know, just in case."

The girl who was sitting next to her came and gave Lilly her books. As she went away, Lilly jumped in on foot, surprising Gabriel. He did not know why she got deeply red as she looked at him. He then heard about "the Alex incident" and realized that she was embarassed.

-"I told him that did not have the best as for first days go, do not worry, he will be the same cheerful Alex we know in no time. You must think about his invitation. He is a really good and intelligent man, in spite of him not showing it every time"- He joked to cut the tension (Why was tension there anyway?) -"I´m glad that you can talk to me, new people are new experiences, that is what my father always says. Come to talk to me anytime you want."

He finished with a smile towards her. It was so good to know that he was making someone comfortable.

"Well, he's a good guy Gabriel and I have thought of his invite just like I said, bad timing." She said with her cheeks softening to a pink. "I will admit he's rather cute but I'm afraid to hurt him if he has his heart set on things working out. You never know I may fall for one of his best friends." She said with a playful wink to Gabriel as she was smiling softly.

"I should let you get to bed since it is late.." She said as she walked bit from him but turned to him. "I need to keep in mind there are such things as Knights in shining armor and mind telling Rose...Dont pinch so hard next time?" She said with her walking off rubbing her right buttcheek hinting to him what Rose did. When she was out of sight Rose walked out groaning.

"I ate to much..." she said as she saw Gabriel. "I hope you two got a chance to talk." She said with a smile to him. "Perhaps you should invite her to Hogsmead this weekend with some of us. It may break her shell further. Never know...You may be doing Alex a favor on getting a kiss from the tough gal."

That was a completely unexpected turn of events that let Gabriel speechless. He could not even blush. He quickly went thru it again in his mind. What she said, and the playful wink. What? He thought about being mistaken but there was no doubt, or was it? She must have been playing. He saw how she was talking when she got off the hippogriff. She must be a funny girl. Still thinking what she said. He could only nod as she told him she was going to bed. He smiled as she rubbed her back.

-"She... She told you o don´t pinch her so hard next time."- Said Gabriel when his speech ability came back. -"She is a rather playful girl, isn´t she? She likes to make jokes, doesn´t she?

He heard Rose´s proposition.

-"Do you believe that I can pair them up if I invite her and Alex to the same place in Hosmeade next weekend? It is a good idea, I don´t know if she would like it. I don´t even know if Alex want to see her anymore, he gets quite down as everytime he is rejected."

He said goodbye to Rose, and spent the whole way back and some time in bed thinking about what she said. He decided that he must have misunderstood her, as she told him that she could not be friends with him in the afternoon, and backing up that night. Even when he thought that this was settled on his mind, he spent some time awake, and when he finally slept, he had a weird dream about him being Alex and Lilly telling him that she would really like to go with him to Hogsmeade. When he woke up, he still remembered this dream, but did not tell anything to Alex, as he was in a good mood and did not want to ruin the atmospheare.

"She's opening up...Keep in mind when you're use to fighting your bttles its hard to let your guard down. Besides no one is perfect so time will tell who she is." Rose said as she waited for a few other people and soon went to bed.

When morning came Lillian was sitting in the great hall reading her potion books. She didn't forget about Alex last night nor Gabriel. To her she barely knew either of them and if she had to go by looks alone then she'd be torn between them both. Though from what she's seen of Alex and barely talking to Gabriel then she'd go to Alex. Groaning softly as she shut her book rubbing her green eyes as her mind was so foggy she didn't know what to do. After awhile she grabbed her things and left before a crowd was coming in.

Though when she saw Gabriel and Alex she smiled at both and said good morning to them both. Though her eyes lingered on Alex for abit to show she didn't completely reject him. Her short skirt caressed her thighs but at the hem there was a small silver safety pin. Silently she descended to the dungeons where her class was suppose to take place. Class was interesting as it wasn't dull one bit but when her other class came up her heart sank, Dueling class with Slytherin. Some other students from other houses were welcomed to join to watch.

It was placed in the open where the two houses were standing away from eachother. Lillian was mixed among her house as the Professor flew in on his broom. Professor Lefubon, looked at the group.

"I want a one on one duel. No help from you other classmates. No maiming spells." He said looking to Slytherin. "Who will be first?" He asked looking at the two groups.

Lillian stood there looking around seeing the hatred filled in everyone's eyes for eachother but she emerged from her group with her wand out. "I'll go first." She said softly as if playing the timid girl. Shortly another girl with long blonde hair stepped out but before the Professor could say a word the duel had began. The Slytherin girl send a large cast iron pot at Lillian's head but Lillian deflected it which sent it flying in the air. Smirking as Lillian summoned it back but it morphed into a large wolf that lunged at the girl. The girl screamed with her trying to deflect it but Lillian deflected those spells with ease. "SIT!" Lillian's voice was stern and demanding as the iron wolf stopped in his tracks and sat in front of the Slytherin girl, growling. "Be gone!" She snapped as the wolf transformed into the cast iron pot with a thud.

"Well done! Never seen a student control two spells at once like that." Professor Lefubon smiled as he clapped with Lillian slipping off to sit in the soft grass as more students paired off.

The double dosis of transfiguration class left Gabriel exhausted. But as the class finished he began gaining his energy back, and was soon happy again, talking to his friends. He had been almost all morning talking to Alex about the look Lillian had gave him, and cheered him up as he told him that he still got a shot with her. Alex told him that after he talked to her and she rejected him, he was afraid of asking her again. That´s when Gabriel thought that the Hogsmeade idea was not so bad at all.

They were crossing thru the outside corridors, when they saw a group on the grass. It was the traditional dueling class. Gabriel had this class the day next to that, so he approached with Alex to see and learn if anything new came up.

He had to add "excelent duelist" to the list of habilities Lillian had. It was amazing how she controlled her spells. He gave her an ovasion as she finished, like anyone else around. Even Mr. Lefubon praised her skills. That would make the other Slytherin pricks a thing or two, and would surely get them out of her back a bit.

-"See, she is a great girl for you, you must be brave."- Gabriel whispered to Alex.

-"Are you kidding me? If she got pissed at me like the other time she could cut my legs or something."- replied the concerned Alex.

Gabriel Laughted at the idea, but decided in his mind that "mission Hogsmeade" was ont he way, since someone had to have the courage to ask her out, even if it wasn´t Alex.

On lunch time Gabriel searched for Rose to ask if Lillian had everything she needed to go to Hogsmeade on the weekend, and he told her about his plan.

At lunch Rose was sitting alone reading her notes from transformation class Lillian gave her. "Hi, Gabriel. Hows Alex doing?" She asked as in the past she had a crush on Alex but she grew out of it. Thinking about what Gabriel was asking she ran through the list in her head. "I think she has everything but I can't be to sure."

"Have what?" Lillian asked as she walked in seeing the group there but Rose turned to her.

"Some of us were thinking a mini celebration of the exchange students getting settled and leaving their mark and.....Oh Gabriel you tell her since it was yours and Alex's idea." She said as she winked to Gabriel setting it up for either of them to take a chance with Lillian.

Lillian smiled widen as she looked to Gabriel but knew Alex wasn't to far from him. "I like the idea but keep in mind I like it if someone would ask me to go with them. You know I'm bit old fashion when it comes to going out." She said giving a clue to both boys bit on who she is.
