a big, big city.
There was no way around it now, no more conversations could be held between the two groups of people. The elves didn't agree with anything and neither did the humans. And the elves speaking for others that resided in the forest, it only meant one thing to come of it now. War. The winter seemed all the colder with the promise of war, shivering faintly to herself only to find that it wasn’t even a shiver generated by the cold. She couldn’t be cold, boots crunching in the snow and her dress hiked up slightly by her own hands hidden beneath the dark purple cloak that not only left her head and face hidden, but left that ever so pretty dress covered. The hem of the cloak covered in a thick leather, for days like these when she went out into the snow and even more so for days like these when she did it on her own; Never following rules or directions, she was out here alone and thought nothing of it. Why should she? These were their lands. Nothing to fear here.

And with that mindset, she had yet to remind herself and forgotten to check around her to notice that she was actually no longer in her own land, the pure white forest stretching around her in vast acres and acres of land, trees naked of all their leaves having dropped them to the ground months ago. Breathing out softly, her eyes looked up to the ever gray sky, the ever present amber color of her eyes searching over it as though looking for a break in the clouds to find the sun. She knew it was there, just hidden, still. Lips in a natural pout and a current flushed pink to match her cheeks due to walking quickly, with her head having tilted back, it had caused the hood of her cloak to leave her face exposed. Loose strands of black hair pooling around her face, the young woman let her eyes drop now to the stretch of a creek in front of her, glancing at the solid body of water only to huff shortly. Well this was unfamiliar.

Arms folding beneath her now pronounced bust, only being pronounced now because of where she had set her arms, there was certainly nothing to keep one’s eyes from wandering there when she was speaking and not wearing a cloak. Rolling her eyes just at the thought, Xanthe easily let one of her feet slip out, pressing against the creek’s solid mass with her foot to test its strength. The gap was far too wide for her to just jump, and she certainly wasn’t going to while wearing this wretched dress. Huffing again as though it was the damn creek’s fault for being so weak, she was not about to fall in, no matter how shallow it probably was. That, was obviously the royal in her, Xanthe again putting pressure on the place her foot had once been, only to grimace as she heard the sound of cracking ice. Well dammit. Where was she to go wandering about now?

She was running through the trees, a flash of green and red, held up by the brittle branches of the trees as if she was light as a feather. She had fled, or close to it. She hadn't wanted to be any more part of those talks, all that shit, to use a human term, about war. Sure, she saw that once it maybe could come to that, as the humen were stupid enough to think that they were masters of the world, and that trees didn't have souls, but now her kind was even talking about fighting back with all their strength, even kill all humans! Before they could ask her opinion, which would seem to weigh fairly heavily with the normal people, but would mean nothing in meetings and such, the curse of being a woman, she had fled the tree, Ygdrassil, where the meeting was held.

Clad in whatever clothing she had been able to change herself towards to look less royal, and look less royal, she was wearing green, long pants, which clenched tightly against her legs and hips, a same coloured top, which revealed her stomach, and a short cape with a hood on it. From a human's eye it might look way too cold for winter, but elves were somewhat protected by mother nature, and barely ever got cold, or it had to be so cold that there was no life possible, or if they had committed a crime against nature.

She heard the loud stomping of a human through the woods, which to her sounded closer to a person beating a drum then to a person walking over the snow. Deciding to seek out the source of this sound, anything being batter then having to listen to the elders again. Once she had found the source of the sound, a woman, probably human, as she was covered by a thick, warm cloak. She stayed in the evergreens while she followed her, her cape excellent for not being seen, her feet as light as a feather.

Then, the human did something stupid. She looked up, looking either for a bird or the sun, and kept doing that for a while, while she walked over ice, she was in luck she hadn't fallen through right then. When she looked down, she was stuck. The elf in the trees chuckled softly, and watched for a while, her sharp eyes hovering over the woman. She then jumped down from the tree, and undid her hood, making her red hair fall over her shoulders, while she walked over towards the woman. She walked barefeet over the ice, it not even showing that she had been there, just like the snow hadn't left tracks of her. Not every elf could do this, but she could. "What are you doing in our parts of the woods, human?" She asked, in a voice which was supposed to be cold, but her curiousity broke through it easily.
