Kinra moves slowly, silently through the thick brush of the jungle terrain. She was performing her daily duty as a boarder guard of the N'sata tribe territory. She was not a high ranking, or prominent member of the tribe. but her role was none-the-less important, keeping watch for invaders or outside threats. Those small enough to handle herself, she would simply deal with, not needing to bother any of the others.

The young Kirran girl was strong for her size, toned, flexible and agile, as most of her people were. She also showed all of the normal Kirran physical traits, being a very feline people. Ears, long and sharply shaped, almost like and elf's, extended out through her light brown hair, both covered in a light coat of fur matching in the light brown color. A tail, also of the same color extended from the base of her spine, just above her toned, shapely rear. A pattern of fine fur extended from her neck, down to her tail, the same brown color as the rest of it, formed into striped shapes. These same shapes ran down her shoulder to her elbows, and down the lengths of her strong thighs to her knees. From her elbows to her fingers, and her knees to her toes was a full coat of the light brown fur covering her skin, only leaving her palms and the undersides of her fingers, as well as the undersides of her feet and toes bare. Kinra's skin itself was a naturally light tan color, as most of her people tended to have, and her eyes were a bright golden color, her pupils drawn into slits as she surveys the landscape.

Kinra was dressed in the typical, traditional attire of her people. Dried animal skins formed into raw hide made up most of her rather scanty outfit. A top made of several small skins stitched together into something that could cover her modest, yet plump breasts, was tied around her upper body. It left her shoulder bare, and stopped just beneath the swell of her breasts, with a knot tied off in the back. Around her waist she had a few leather strips, making up a simple belt, into which a simple raw hide loincloth was tucked. It ran between her legs, keeping her covered, while a small flap hung at the front, and at the back. Her tail rested just above the back part of the belt. Around her left arm, there was a band made of raw hide and strips of leather, into which a few small bones were tied, as well as a few colorful feathers. The design of this band signified the N'sata tribe as her own. Around her right thigh was strapped a simple dagger made of stone and bone with a slightly curved blade. Finally, around her neck was a decoration that was a mix of choker, wrapped around her neck and decorated with feathers, and necklaces with small bones tied in, particularly sharp looking teeth.

The young guard continued her quiet patrol through the bushes and tress. The light of the area was tinted green by the canopies of the trees, giving the jungle floor a surreal appearance. One of her long feline ears twitches lightly as she thinks to hear something nearby. She slings the long spear she was carrying onto her back along with her simple short-bow and raw hide quiver filled with arrows. She quickly ascends a tree with the help of her long, claw like nails, and lays herself down on a thick branch. She stays in this position, remaining still and silent as the tip of her tail twitches ever so slightly. She listens, watching, and waiting for whoever, or whatever she heard to walk by beneath her... and from the sound of it, she would be seeing them any moment now.

"Accursed city guard...Always there when you need them least."

In the shade of a great oak tree knelt a young male in his early twenties, clutching his left hand close to his body. A needle was held between his teeth, scraps of cloth scattered all around him as he dressed a gaping wound that ran from elbow to knuckle, bone nearly visible in some places. Every so often he winced as he dressed and twice-dressed the wound, gritting his teeth as the stinging salve worked it's way into the injury.

Relief, sweet relief flowed through the man's body as the tingling, numbing sensation took precedence over the pain. Slowly muscle began to knit back together and flesh gradually closed over flesh. With a sigh the man cast his eyes to a nearby puddle, pondering his own reflection in the mirror.

A mane of raven hair hung down nearly to his chest, setting a stark contrast to the ivory tone of his weather-beaten skin. Cold grey eyes, like pools of steel looked back at him as a strong jaw curled into a wicked smirk. The operation may have went a little south, but the clever bandit had escaped with a small fortune in gems and coins. The clothing he wore was tattered and worn, covered by an old faded black and red patchwork cloak and the long brim of an aged tyrolean cast most of his face into shadow, though the scar that ran from the top-center of his right eyebrow straight down to his jaw was still visible. Rugged but handsome, one could easily guess he was a highway man.

Kinra slowly stood on the branch on which she was perched. She leaps silently to another branch in a neighboring tree, then to another before climbing higher for a better look. Finally she spots the source of the sounds she was hearing, and even catches his scent. He was most definitely an outsider, wandering into the N'sata tribe territory. She tugs the bow and quiver of arrows from her back, setting them in the tree for now. She was going to go in for close range, and they would just get in the way for the moment. She tugs her spear from her back slowly, and with a little feral growl she leaps down from the tree to land near the man. She wastes no time in striking, her spear thrusting out toward him as she lets out a battle cry.

"Shit!"

Vallios rolled with the blow, deflecting the sharp tip of the spear with the reinforced leather bracer that ran from elbow to wrist on his right arm. The movement was graceful and quite acrobatic as Vallios dropped back, kicking his feet up and wrapping the clawed boots he wore around the haft of the spear.

The movement was finished in a roll, if all went well the attacker would find herself disarmed, with Vallios in a crouched ready position, prepared for another assault. Vallios' left arm hung limply at his side, damaged tissues still repairing from previous battle, but his right arm was up and ready, the many blades that edged the fingers and sides of his black leather gloves glinting in the light. Sharper than razors and aligned in a manner that gave full flexibility, the glove's blades were designed to be discrete, a last resort should one ever find themselves without a weapon within convenient grasp.

Kinra's Spear was quickly deflected, then grabbed by the man's feet and pulled by his movements. She had only two options, hold tight and fly with the spear, or let it go. She decided to go with the second option, releasing the spear as he rolled into his crouch. She did not stop for an instant though, her momentum still forward as she quickly drew her dagger and was upon the man in a matter of mere seconds of him finishing his roll. He would see a glint of polished stone and bone as she brought the dagger down toward him, letting out a feral growl as she did.

The strike of the blade was aimed for his neck, if he didn't move, or block it. But this man seemed as if he at least had some skill in combat, and so she expected the attack might not land. Knowing he would most likely block or avoid the deadly blade, it made a good distraction for him, while her left leg swung up in a strong knee-kick toward his side, hoping to at least wind him. That might give her the opportunity to go in for a second strike with the blade, if it worked.

The blade took priority, Vallios deflecting the strike with his bracer once again. Deflection and counter came in one quick movement, Forearm knocking aside the dagger at the wrist, while Vallios' cocked elbow was launched towards the assailant's jaw. If the blow connected it would easily held the force and accuracy to knock most people completely unconscious. Unfortunately, there wasn't much Vallios could do about the blow to his side besides flex the ridged muscles of his abdomen and take the blow.

The kick shook Vallios quite badly, but he remained on balance and unfazed. Years of battling in taverns had proven to be solid training against unarmed blows. It was getting really difficult to keep this combat non-lethal, as it was apparent that this feline femme fatale certainly had murder on her mind.

The feline woman's head turns with the blow, and drops back to her ass while she has only one foot on the ground, the other still lifted from her kick. She looks up at him, glaring and growling angrily, before she springs up again into a pouncing motion. Her right hand, with the dagger, would swing in from the side, swiping at him, and hit or miss, it would then twist to swipe in the opposite direction swiftly. It was a quick side-to-side double strike, intent on cutting at him and dealing some damage, even if it was unlikely to be fatal.

The dagger cut clean across Vallios' stomach, leaving a shallow but long slice in it's wake. The second strike was dodged and Vallios responded by lashing out with his fist, attempting to catch the woman by her throat. It was definitely in the female's best interest to avoid this grab, as those bladed gloves would certainly pose a dire threat.

If luck and skill prevailed and Vallios managed to catch his target by the throat he'd just hold her there, letting the feel of cold steel against her throat do the talking. Vallios was still somewhat incapacitated, and he truly did not feel like dealing with constant ambushes from the rest of her people. Somehow, he needed to communicate and gain some kind of amnesty while he waited for the city to cool down.

Kinra smirked to herself for an instant as she noticed the cut to his stomach. As she sees the fist come at her, she lifts her blade to block and deflect the hand, growling and letting out a little roar as she moves to back away from him. She would crouch low, her legs apart in a strange, feral sort of stance, her left hand held out with her fingers curled a bit toward the ground, her right lifted with the dagger held up as she watches him. Her tail sways and flicks side to side as the battle excites her, her breathing somewhat heavy as she prepares to defend, or else strike if he did not.

"I'm over this..."

Vallios threw himself to his feet, retrieving her discarded spear. The wound on his left arm had finally mended. The stance he took was an offensive one, Vallios grasping the spear firmly in both hands. It wasn't quite as heavy, or long as the halberd he was used to but it'd do. Vallios stepped forward, thrusting low.

Reach advantage was something Vallios knew quite well how to leverage, there would be no escape now. If the woman tried to flee she'd find that the "Bandit King of Far Run" was quite fleet of foot and exceptionally agile. Turning her back for any reason against Vallios would yield most unfortunate consequences.

"Drop your weapon and I will not flay the skin from your bones." He growled.

Kinra suddenly regretted giving him the time to act, at least a bit. He now had her spear, which she'd all but forgotten in the adrenalin rush of the battle. She knew well that a dagger against a spear was a heavy disadvantage, from various sparring sessions with tribe sisters. Still, she was no coward, and would not be disgraced in allowing this outsider to walk freely among their land when there was even still a chance she might be able to beat him. There was still a fight to be fought, and she was still able, so she would not just back down pitifully.

The agile feline jumps back away from the first jab of the spear. His stance and movements with it were unlike those she was used to seeing from the others in her tribe. It was a style of fighting unknown to them. She stays low in her stance, slowly side stepping as she tries to circle around him, looking for some opening she might exploit in his long reaching defense. She suddenly moves quickly in the direction she had been moving, lifting from her crouched position, and moving as if to try and rush him. However, she quickly changes direction, moving in the opposite direction and dropping low again to try and get in under his defenses and aim a slash toward one of his legs. It was, in effect, a feint maneuver, attempting to get him to guard to one side while she then went to the other.

It was time to strike to wound, Vallios had the medical supplies on hand to treat nearly any injury he could inflict on this woman, and he could tell he needed her alive. She'd be a great bargaining tool, and would definitely fetch a hefty price back in the city. Yes, she was quite the prize, though Vallios had no time to inspect her in the heat of battle.

Graceful and practiced movements, a quick assault that was certainly part of a well practiced routine. Vallios stepped into her momentum and gave a sweeping kick that would probably disembowl, slashing at her with the three talon-like blades fastened to the toes and heel of his right boot. He felt her dagger collide with the reinforced, studded leather leggings he wore and couldn't help but smirk, her light weapons really didn't have much viability against the masterfully made leather armor he wore beneath his traveling garb. The haft of the spear came in a wide, vicious arc with staggering force. She was well inside the body of the spear and wouldn't need to fear being stabbed, but the wooden polearm was swung with enough might that if it did connect, the spear would probably break along with her ribcage.

She barely has time to react, seeing the bladed foot approach her. She pushes to the side with her next step, trying to avoid it, and ending up with some cuts going from her belly to her side... they weren't shallow, but not enough to immediately threaten her life. This stumbling motion left her well open for the spear's shaft however, slamming into her and sending her to the ground, her dagger skittering away. She groans in pain, a couple of her ribs at least cracked from that hit. Her people were pretty durable, living in the wilds and fighting for survival on the land alone, so the wounds would not put her in much danger, they would just hurt a bit for the moment.

Kinra starts to slowly try and push herself up, gasping from the pain in her ribs and dropping down again. She lays there, seemingly down for the count, simply shifting a bit and trying to see where the man is now, then crawl toward her dagger.

Vallios stomped on the dagger, a sardonic smile crossing his lips as he heard the blade snap at the hilt. Vallios then moved over to the downed woman and gave one hard stomp to the ribs for good measure. If the blow landed it would hopefully push any thought of farther struggle far from her mind. While forceful, the strike was also measured and careful. He didn't need to accidentally gut her in the aftermath of their battle, there would be no risk of being cut by the blades on the boot.

Now Vallios took the time to look over his prey, noticing how finely sculpted she was. The wounds he'd inflicted were shallow, and wouldn't require much to treat...Which was fortunate. The supplies he'd brought were running low, and he had a wound of his own to treat.

Vallios shifted uncomfortably, how he hated the feeling of blood congealing beneath leather. Every time he moved the wound opened again and more blood dripped out, a steady flow that was gradually making him feel light-headed.

Kinra watches with a soft growl as he stomps her dagger and breaks it. That made her furious. Those weapons took a while to make, and she had designed it herself. She glares up at the man as he approaches, and then yelps out in pain as he stomps on he ribs. Her eyes shut then as she lay there, and whined softly. She was thoroughly beaten, disarmed, save for her claws, which wouldn't do much good against him. She could only wait now for him to give the final strike and kill her, as she assumed he was going to. Her whole body is tense as she awaits death, her eyes closed, only groaning softly in pain.

"Not so fierce now, are you?" Vallios asked, a wicked grin twisting his lips.

Slowly he bent down, getting nice and close. Vallios put his left hand around Kinra's throat, keeping just enough pressure constant to remind Kinra that her life was literally in his grasp, one wrong move and he could decide to put an end to her. Meanwhile Vallios began to rip away her clothing using his right hand, his bladed glove definitely helping in the act.

Once she was completely naked Vallios turned and crawled over to the small satchel that was still laying by the tree he'd been shading himself in. Vallios withdrew several dripping bandages, along with a small vial full of some strange amber substance.

Vallios returned to the downed Kinra's side and began to bandage up her ribs and stomach. The bandages were moist to the touch and covered in a cream that would soak in through the skin and help reduce swelling and bruising and greatly speed the mending of the cuts. After the bandages were applied he did his best to force the vial's contents down her throat.

"Drink, if you want the pain to stop."

Kinra stilled her movement as she felt his hand grip at her throat. She would glare up at him, a low, feline growl rumbling out of her. She winces slightly as he pulls and tears away the little clothing she has, the top shredding open and falling away to expose her plump breasts, and the straps of her loincloth snapping, leaving the actual cloth portion intact, but loose and easily pulled away to expose her womanhood and the patch of hair above. She can't help but blush slightly as she was now fully exposed to this male outsider, powerless to stop him.

As he moves away to get to his things, she starts trying to crawl away, though she makes very little progress as the pain of her injuries was only getting worse. She glares up and growls softly again as he returns to her side, squirming as he starts wrapping the bandages on her. She knew what they were, and what he was doing, given similar crude medical practices among her tribe, involving wrapping wounds with bindings. What she didn't know however, was why he was bandaging her rather than finishing her off.

She looks to the vial as he offers it to her, trying to make her drink it. It didn't look like water, and the first thought that came to her was poison. But why poison her when he could just kill her, and why after bandaging her? Perhaps it was some other drink, or some sort of medicine. She frowns, but reluctantly accepts the liquid, drinking it down and scrunching her face at the taste of it. She looks up at him with a little frown, but her expression clearly confused, as if silently asking 'why?'. Either way, he had cleanly defeated her in true combat, and now he was sparing her life, which by the laws of her tribe means her life belongs to him. He wouldn't know that of course, without being told, but she was honor bound to live up to it now.

No, he couldn't leave just that little scrap of clothing. With a lazy hand Vallios removed the last vestige of her dignity, leaving Kinra completely bared for anyone to see. Vallios retrieved a second vial and downed the liquid, then bound his own wounds. The substances, when applied in tandem worked in minutes, soon Kinra would find that her wounds had fully healed. Unfortunately, any soreness or tenderness would still linger, even though the tissues had mended.

Next he produced a thread and thick leatherworking needle from that satchel of wonders and useful stuff. Vallios settled himself atop Kinra, not wanting her to make any sudden breaks for freedom. Whistling as he worked, Vallios began to make a sturdy collar and thick leash from the shreds of Kinra's tribal garments. Naturally Vallios whistled while he worked, a deceptively merry tune for such a deed.

When all was said and done Vallios fastened the collar around Kinra's neck, twice then thrice looping before finishing the knots that kept the device functional. A moment was spent admiring Kinra's fine figure before Vallios'
anxious mind went back to work. He had a trophy now, and surely someone less civil than him would take her in a heart beat.

But, blast and damn it he couldn't give her a weapon. That'd be foolish beyond anything else, so he'd have to hope that she could yell loud enough to rile him if she spotted any trouble that his watchful eye missed.

"Now then, tell me...Who are you?"

Kinra blushed brightly when he so easily pulled away that last piece of her modesty. Considering how little she wore, modest would not be the first word to come to mind in describing the feline woman. But having those essential few pieces of covering taken away by a stranger, her body left fully exposed to him like this.. it was just as humiliating as any more civilized woman being seen naked. Though her life now belonged to him, so as much as she hated it, he had every right to expose her if he wished. She would not fight now, nor even try to cover herself as she tried to remain a proud warrior, and not look pathetic by trying to hide her shame.

She squirms slightly as he sits on her, feeling his weight hold her down, and make it a bit difficult to breathe. She winces as she still feels the soreness from her mending wounds, and neither the squirming, nor being used as a seat helped to relieve it. She looks up as much as she can, wondering what he is doing, until she sees the object he made, from her own scraps of clothing, and watches him place it around her neck. Where one might expect her to resist and fight him off to avoid having the collar put on, she does nothing. She does not resist him at all, simply letting him slip it around her neck, though her expression does show an amount of disapproval.

Her ears twitch a bit as she hears him speak, though she barely understands, or speaks common. Her tribe has had very little contact with the outside world beyond a very few trading partners, so there was no need for most of them to learn the language of the outsiders. She did understand some of the basics though, and a couple words told her he was asking about her. "Kinra. Guarding." Was her reply, trying to tell him she was a guard for this territory. "Who you?"
