[SupSatire] Best Friends New Relationship [ShortSighted]

Once again Amanda was sitting at one of the picnic tables on the college campus with a book wide open and studying it hard. She was a bookworm and a studier. She often got teased about it - in a friendly light-hearted way, but also a malicious way (depending on who it was). She didn't care though. Mandy wanted to do good at college. Even if it meant sacrificing her college social status which was currently almost non-existent. She only had a few people stand by her and have true friendships. They were loyal. Most weren't though.

Her red hair moved about as a light breeze passed by but it didn't matter. It was a glorious day and it was much better than staying indoors and studying. She needed to prepare for her English exam.

Taking a breather for a moment, her blue eyes looked up to study who was about. She didn't know most people - the campus was big and had a lot of people about. One person she did recognise though.

Her best friend.

The guy she had a crush on since the beginning of time. The guy she didn't stand a chance with because all the girls liked him. He was the most popular guy on campus. Everyone knew him. She didn't stand a chance. He always had some girl hanging off his arm, so she thought.

So it was best to stay silent about her little crush. It would just be humiliating if he, and everyone else, found out.

When he was close enough to hear her, she shouted out, calling his name in hope of grabbing his attention. "Hey!"
