Casriel sighed as he walked out of his large home the time had come for him to make his way back to the town of Creole to the auction house. His youngest servant was getting to old to accompany him to the balls and dinners anymore. He waved away his most faithful servant when asked if he wished to take the carriage, he preferred to ride on his own every now and then and he hadn't done so in awhile. He climbed onto his black horse who was a bit antsy as it hadn't gotten out since his last ride. He smiled as he heeled the horse taking off down the road his long black jacket flowing out behind him the crimson on the inside standing out harshly against the rest of his wardrobe. His dark hair was flapping behind him as well as he enjoyed the ride and the gust of wind in his face, riding was one of the few things he truly enjoyed in life.

He slowed as he entered the town glancing around and the faces staring up at him in awe. At 6'6" with very broad shoulders he was an imposing sight on his black Clydesdale. He dropped off the horse leaving him with a young lad at the stable, nobody in this area was surprised to see a lord out at night as many of his kind called this place home. It was very common for vampires to be in town at night doing their business here which is why the slave trade had set up here. He walked to the door of the building that held the slaves, as always when he entered he was greeted by a young woman with an infectious smile. She began to lead him into the main room with all the already broken and ready to be taken home. He always surprised them when he asked to be shown the new acquisitions who hadn't been broken yet.

She had been captured the previous night. She had been on her way home whey the slave owner had captured her. Of course, she wasn't an easy person to carry off. She struggled, and had the bruises to show for it and the punishments she had recieved. When he brought her back to the slave house, she had guessed it was anyway. He led her to the back room and threw her in a small cage that was meant for nothing more then small person like her. She could barely move in the thing, she couldn't sit down, if she did she would of became lodged into it. Sighing, she leaned against the back bars. The lights were turned off, no noises had been heard. Falling asleep just like she was, she slept through the night and most of the day. Grimacing when the lights turned in, she had to rub her eyes to see around her.

When her eyes adjusted, she was being pulled from the cage and dowsed with cold water. Her clothes were ripped off of her and she was forced into a slave garment. The garment was new but filthy. Having one shoulder, it draped over her and showed her body off in the most sexually way. It draped down, barely hiding her breasts. Forced back into the cage, she could hear mumbling. But nothing more. Her long curly black hair fell before her shoulders, her bright blue eyes searched the place quickly. Sophia was merely twenty, around 5'3. She knew she would be sold off that night, but to who she had no clue. As the day passed, slaves came and went. Sighing, she assumed they were saving the best for last.

Casriel entered the room watching as all the potentials were brought out from the cages, he cringed inwardly when he saw the cages. He believed in ruling with power and fear and sometimes compassion not by causing constant discomfort. He looked at the line stepping in front of each one of the new arrivals he looked down at all their faces forcing them to look into his eyes. There was a lot you could tell about someone by their eyes he didn't like most of the ones he looked at because in their eyes he could see fear and already see them cowering before him. He preferred someone with fire in their eyes and fight in their posture, that was who would make the best servant in his household.

He stepped in front of a young woman who looked to be cleaner then the rest "how new is this one?" he asked looking back at the watcher who was always in the corner with his whip. "she's been here but a day my lord" the man replied in a very timid tone that didn't fit his size. Casriel smiled as he looked back at her placing his hand on her chin his touch gentle as it was firm as he brought her face up to meet his gaze his dark eyes searching hers for that spark that would mark her as the one he wanted. When he found it he smiled "i'll take her please take these restraints off take her and get her cleaned and dressed properly in a shirt and breaches and have her waiting by the door well i speak with the Botisa about the price" he said without looking away from her face.

When she heard the door open, she moved forward. Trying to see who had walked in. She couldn't see for the other cages being in the way. But when the footsteps moved closer, she grinned and once more moved to the edge of the cage. The man was handsome, boy was he handsome. He stopped at each cage and looked them in the eyes. Showing no interest, he stopped in front
of hers. She could feel her heart drop as his gentle but firm hand touched her skin. Sophia didn't dare look away from him. Of course, she had fire in her eyes. She always had and always would. Hearing the man speak she whimpered softly. He had brought her, well not yet but was planning on it. Leaning forward, she didn't speak. She was tranced by the man, she didn't know why but she was. Shaking her head, she watched him.

"Of course my lord." The man came over and unlocked her cage. Taking her restraints off, he led her to a room in the back. He told her to bath in the basin, that he would have clothes waiting for her when she finished. Sophia nodded, and climbed Into the basin. The water was warm, it felt good against her cold skin. She bathed quickly and dried off. Walking
over to the clothes the man had given her. A pair of black pants and a green colored shirt. Pulling it on, she told the man she was ready. "Come along, your master is waiting." When the man had taken her to him, he spoke. "My lord, your slave." the man bowed and left quitely. Leaving her there. "Im not your slave.. I'm no one's slave..." She muttered softly.

Casriel went into the small room used as an office and paid for the young woman not even bothering to try to haggle, thanking the man he walked out and to the door. He stood there waiting for her when she showed up he nodded to the man escorting her before looking at her. He laughed gently at her words his laughter soft and haunting "of course not my dear you are no slave of mine i've never owned a slave' he said flashing a smile that showed a hint of fang his voice ringing ' now on the other hand I did just buy your freedom and you do sort of owe me so I think working in my house as my servant is a fair trade don't you?" He stepped up to the door opening it for her "if you would follow me' he said waiting for her to exit first 'by chance can you ride?"

Casriel looked towards the sky seeing it began to lighten up he sighed they would have to make the ride home fairly quick before the sun finished coming up otherwise this would be his last trip and he wouldn't be able to enjoy the company of his newest purchase. He was walking towards the stable as he waited for her to answer.

Frowning as he spoke, she felt bad for lashing out at the man. She had no where else to go, no family... Maybe this would give her the chance she needed. Sighing, she spoke softly. "Sorry... Of course. I am forever in your debt." Nodding, she followed him to the stables. Her barefeet crunching against the gravel. Seeing the horses, she smiled. They were beautiful and a man was bringing out a black horse. Reaching out to touch it, she pulled back quickly.

"Yes, I can... But it's been a very long time." She spoke out as she turned towards him. "You get on first... I'll do it after you, or did you want me on a different horse?" She was curious, happy to be out. She hadn't had time to stretch, but had a feeling now wasn't that time.

"i had planned for you to have one of your own. That is if you think you can manage it yourself" he asked looking at the as the stable hand gave him the reins. He pressed a coin into the mans hand thanking him, the man looked at the coin and thanked him starting away before Casriel stopped him and asked him to take them to the horses that were for sale. He looked at the horses pointing to three of them he deemed the finest and having the stable hand bring them forward "here pick one' he said looking back at her' and do be quick about it we're on a time limit here. When you've chosen I'll be out front". He walked back to his horse climbing on easily and looking back to where she stood with the three horses waiting for her to make her choice and for them to leave.

He couldn't help but smile to himself, he now had a new one to keep his home looking lovely and to please him and present to the others. He thought with the right dress and her hair done properly she would be the most lovely woman anywhere he decided to take her. First she would have to be broken in a little of course but that wouldn't take to long. They usually held the fire until they realized that fire was met with fire whereas acceptance was met with a gentle hand and kind words. He couldn't wait to see how long this one would last before she was his and his alone. He had learned long ago that starting with a small bit of kindness mixed with orders that didn't seem quite like orders would put them in the mindset to be more accepting of his orders later.

"I can." She nodded reassuringly and smiled softly. She got to choose her own horse, whether it would be hers or not when they arrived would be a different story. Seeing the three the stable hand brought out, her blue eyes glanced over them. Petting each one to see how they reacted to her touch. In the end, she choose a white one. Watching as the stable man fixed the saddle for her, she thanked him and climbed up. Smiling softy as she took the reigns. Kicking softly, she moved to find the man.

"Thank you... I hope I was quick enough.. They were all good.." Her voice trailed away as she rubbed the one she was riding on the back of the head. Smiling softly, she rested the reigns in her hands. "Where are we going in such a hurry...? It's bit even day light yet..." She added softly.

He tossed a small sack to the stable hand nodding before he heeled his horse around and began to ride off. He laughed at her question "you my dear have a lot to learn but considering its only day one i shall answer your question but not until we get home and get you settled in' he said glancing back and winking at her 'come now keep up". He brought the horse to a trot until he was just out of town before pushing it harder into a full run.

He glanced back every now and then to check on her and the height of the sun. When they finally arrived at his home he slowed and got off his horse handing the reins to another servant waiting for her to get there telling her to do the same. He walked to the front door stepping in and holding it open for her. "this will be your new home follow Jithar and he'll show you to your room when he's done meet me in the library so i can fill you in on the rules and your responsibilities" he said before walking away leaving her in Jithar's hands.

Watching as he rode before her, she turned to watch the trees swaying in the wind. The wind causing her own hair to flow behind her. "Alright." She nodded as she spoke and noticed he had picked up his pace. Kicking her own horse, she followed behind him rather quickly. "I think I'll call you blaze..." She smiled and ran her hand along the horses mane. Smiling softly as she noticed the sun starting to come up. About that time, she saw they had stopped in front of a beautiful house. Looking up to it, she was in awe.

Following his motions, she jumped off and handed the reigns to the servant. "Thank you..." She nodded towards the servant and walked inside. Crossing her arms as she twisted in her place. Looking around the room. "Lither...? Why can't yo-?" Before she could finish, he had already walked off and she frowned. Shaking her head slightly, she hears more footsteps. Lither, she was guessing. "Are you Lither..?"

Jithar smiled at the young woman his smile warm and gentle like that of a loving grandfather "yes my dear I am Jithar i am the eldest servant in master Boone's household' he said his voice gentle 'don't be bothered by him he tries to pretend he's so all powerful and vicious but I swear inside that man is the kindest i've ever met". Jithar nodded seemingly to himself his gray hair hanging in a rough ponytail behind him he waved for her to follow him as he started walking around the house pointing out the kitchen, library, and all other rooms of the house finally heading to the stairs. "the second floor is all bedrooms. The right side is for the staff the left half is off limits without express permission from myself of master Boone, those are his private rooms' he said stopping in front of a door and opening it 'this room is yours feel free to look around it a bit before going back to the library"

Casriel sat in the library reading as he waited for Jithar to give her the tour and for her to come back ever since he had saved him from the slave trade as a child Jithar has been the most faithful person ever to him. He remembered the ten year old boy who was always trying to impress him. Now the man was in his eighties and trying to look after Casriel as if he were his grandfather.

She smiled and followed him. "This place is amazing...it's so large and huge..." Shaking her head at amazement, she watched as the different rooms came into view. Their were easily over a hundred rooms, which bewilded her. Jither had to be in his eighties, he shouldn't be still serving the man.. He should let him be free. "Boone? Is that I'd name? He hasn't told me anything..." She nodded as he talked about the rooms. She was curious, curious to know why twy were off limits. But if course, she would behave and not go into them. Smiling at Jither, she spoke softly. "Well see, so far he has been pushy and shyed away from telling me anything."

Pausing, she continued. "Thank you..." She nodded as she moved into the room. It was luxurious to her. A overly sized bed, a armour in the corner, two chairs next to a window. A bathroom hooked on. Looking around for a few moments, she headed back down stairs and into the library. Speaking when she entered. "You should let Jither be free... He is to fragile to be a servant..."

Casriel looked up from his book at her with an eyebrow raised in a questioning look. "oh i should should I?' he said with a hint of humor in his voice ' for your information he pretty much is free but that man wouldn't leave these ground if I told him too. This is his home he's lived here his entire life he knows nothing else other then what needs to be done under this roof. Do you think it would be kind to throw an elderly man out onto the street when he has no real skill to make a living off of?" He marked his page and closed his book setting it on the small table next to his chair. He sat with one ankle on the opposite knee, folding his hands together in front of him. "now then onto the important business what shall I call you?" he asked looking up at her 'my name is Casriel Boone you will be expected to address me as either Master Boone, Lord Boone, or master. If you do not address me this way you will be punished until you learn to speak properly." Casriel personally hated titles feeling they were designed by humans to raise themselves above others of their kind, among vampires there were few titles power was determined by fist and mind not land and wealth. The reason he kept his servants calling him by a title was to keep up appearance with the rest of the world and because many vampires enjoyed watching the weaker humans grovel and would beat anyone who didn't give them proper respect. "since it is your first day you are allowed three questions that I will answer as honestly as I can' he spoke softly his eyes locked on her as he gestured for her to sit 'you will not get this chance again so make them count".

Shaking her head, she frowned. Hugging her arms against herskef, she moved closer to him. His library was astonishing. Books of every kind, from dictionaries, mystery, romance, thick, little. Any kind, she was sure he would have it. Frowning as she thought of Jithar, she shook her head once more. "No, you shouldn't. That would be cruel and inhumane." Her voice was steady, but with a hint of fear. She still had no idea what or who he was. Sitting down in a chair opposite of him, she spoke again. This time in a whisper. "I just assumed he was forced to stay here... He's nice.." She smiled slightly and heard his book close. Looking at the spine, she tried to tell what he had been reading. But the print was to small.

"My name is Sophia... I thought you granted me my freedom. Now I have to call you master
or lord?" She shook her head and remained quite until he finished speaking. "I have more then three... But I guess I'm stuck with three bow aren't I?" Pausing, she trailed her hand along the chairs arm. "What are you? Why am I here? How will I be punished?" She finished, and leaned back in the chair. Shivering slightly, she crossed her arms.

"Sophia' he said slowly the word rolling off his tongue with an almost musical lilt 'i like it a lovely name worthy of being spoken in my house. Do servants not call their employers by a title free or otherwise? Its about appearances my dear". He laughed gently at her questions "well you picked a couple good ones at least' he said putting his foot down and leaning forward reaching out with one hand grabbing her chair and pulling it towards him with ease 'I'll start with the simplest, you are here because someone caught you and decided you were slave material and I decided i liked you so i bought you off of them. How you shall be punished will be determined by what you do wrong, if you forget to use the title of someone above your station you will be made to hold something quite disgusting on your tongue. Now on the other hand if you venture into my private quarters i will deal with you personally however i see fit". He stood up picking up his book and walking to a shelf climbing the small ladder and placing it in its spot. "as to your other question of what I am thats simple as well, I am a predator' as he spoke the words he leapt off the ladder landing gracefully and silently behind her chair leaning his face next to hers 'do you believe in the undead my dear?" He smiled at her flashing his fully extended fangs as he stood again walking back in front of her.

"Im sure if it wasn't worthy you would choose another name for me that was worthy to
be spoken in your house. Am I right...?" Her voice trailed off as she listened to all of his answers. Of course she had chose good ones. She wasn't going to waist her three freebies. "Thats fair... I guess I could understand that and do that Lord Boone..." It felt, weird but also felt right. Shaking her head, she felt him pull her chair towards him with ease. Now looking straight into those handsome eyes. Trying to pull away, she couldn't. But then he stood, and put his book up. "Worthy if being a servant.. Yeah right. They need to be one..." Her voice trailed off as he answered the last one. "A predator... What do you-" Before she finished, she began to put the pieces together. "The undead.." Then, right on cue he smiled and showed his fangs. "A vampire... That's why we had to hurry here..." She started to push away from him. Scared if him.

"feel honored i found you worthy i am very picky i only choose those truly beautiful and they must have a spark that i noticed in you the moment i looked into your eyes" he said with a gentle smile. He frowned when she tried to push away from him. "don't pull away from me it just makes the predator in me want to pounce' he said the frown still marring his usually handsome features 'you need not fear me sweet Sophia I am not dangerous unless displeased". He stepped towards her kneeling in front of her so he could look into her face his fangs receding as he did so. "since it goes with the question i will also tell you that I am not like other vampires I don't feed needlessly and only off of those that have offered it to me. Blood is so much sweeter when given freely the emotions tend to change its taste". He reached a hand out gently caressing her cheek "now Sophia I will tell you your duties and let you go about your day' he said smiling at her 'for your first day you are allowed the entire day to yourself to get used to the house and how things work. After today though you will be expected to wake me just before sunset and unless i require you you will busy yourself with any housework you are able to do. When I require it though you will find yourself dressing in the fanciest of dresses and accompanying me to balls and galas." He then stood and walked to the door opening it for her "during your down time you are free to make use of this library whenever you want now unless you have a question i feel inclined to answer the rest of the day is yours. Oh and please don't try to run because if I have to hunt you down and bring you back i will be very upset" he still spoke softly though with the last part there was a certain fierceness in his eyes.

"Im glad you found me worthy of being here... I feel I have forgotten to mention how beautiful this place is..." Her voice trailed off as he told her not to pull away from her. Those same eyes entrancing her even more then they had been. She loved them, the darkness
of them. It was like studying someones soul. "You have my word, that I will not run... I don't want to deal with you being pissed... It would probably end in my death... Which I don't care for at the moment..." She smiled softly for the first time. "If i am to wake you just before sunset... When am I suppose to sleep? During the night, just like I should? But then I'm here to serve you, so thst would mean staying up during the night and sleeping during the day..." She shook her head. It was all so new to her. "Will you drink mine then? If you seduce me...? " She asked curiously. Knowing he would be able to tell through her eyes. Nodding at the rest, she watched him. "I understand.. House work all the time... What fun." She said sarcasticly. "The balls and galas... I could get use to. Bur then of course I bet you won't let me speak to anyone... I'm glad that I can come in here... I like to read..."

"you are free to sleep whenever you wish but seeing as i am a creature of the night it would make the most since if you kept roughly the same hours that i do" he said with a gentle smile. "i will only feed off of you if you offer yourself to me otherwise i have other choices" He smiled at her watching expecting her to be rushing out of the room. "you'll be able to talk to people but don't expect many to talk back most of my kind view you humans as nothing more then pets, i restate i'm different from most of my kind" he said as he looked into her eyes again. He wondered

He wondered why she hadn't taken off already since just a moment ago she had been trying to get away from him. "is there something you need Sophia? or would you just like to spend your first day following me? oh by the way your first day lasts until tomorrow morning about this time that way you can watch what goes on at night" he said surprised he had forgotten to tell her that.

"Then I guess I should sleep on and off then shouldn't I? I have spent twenty years of my life sleeping at night.... It's not that easy to get use to." Her voice was soft, watching him carefully. She had tried to move away. But she had to become use to him. "Hmm.. Of course they do. But since you want to keep such a high status, I am thinking your going to treat me like filth when we go off. Seeming that's what the others do I am willing to bet my...
blood on it. Shall we say?" Smiling, she was joking around. Maybe she shouldn't be... But she had to. "My first day is going to be easy... Seeming it just started...." Shrugging, she spoke. "No, I don't need anything. But if your that eager to get rid of me I'll leave..." Making her way to the door, she stopped and frowned. "One more thing... Am I allowed
to eat anything....? Because I haven't eaten in a few days..." She rested against the big doors that led into the hall way. If I can't eat anything.... I'll go find something..."

"i treat my partner well, at those you won't be my servant but my date" he said smiling. "no my dear i expect you to starve yourself' he said laughing slightly 'i assume Jithar showed you where the kitchen was located. If at any time you are hungry and its between the prepared meals feel free to help yourself to anything in there". Casriel held a hand out to her "how about i walk with you and get you some food" he said in a pleasant tone a smile on his face. His eyes never rested they were constantly roaming taking in every detail of his surroundings but at the present moment he just couldn't help but have them roam over her body and face admiring just how flawless she was.

Nodding, she took his hand and started to follow him. "You know... If you were to let me starve.. I would come back and kill you and take this place over..." A hint of laughter was ringing through her voice. Clearly having fun with him, she slowed as they came upon the kitchen. "If I
am your date, what will you say when they come here? See me being a servant? Then won't they say you take your servants to a ball? That would seem, un highly... But no, I'm not complaining... I like the idea of going with you." She nodded and watched as the kitchen came into view. Just as beautiful as the rest of the place. "Is there any thing else that I should be in awe over..?" Turning toward him, she noticed for the first time that he hadn't taken his eyes off of her. Smiling, she pushed her hair sway from her face.

He laughed at her empty threat "if you came back to kill me i'd have to inform you that I am technically already dead" he said with a small smirk. He shook his head "many of them take their servants to the balls but only the special ones that have earner the right or are their most beautiful. They think of it as showing off their possessions whereas i just enjoy a pretty girl on my arm" he said winking at her. He watched her admire the kitchen surprised that she still held his hand most people found the chill of his touch to be uncomfortable. When she asked him if there was anything else she should be in awe of he just smiled a mischievous smile as he dropped her hand and walked into the kitchen towards one of the full time cooks. "oh only one other thing but unless you walk in on me bathing you won't have to worry about it" he said playfully teasing her to see how she would react.

"So you want arm candy shall we call it?" She asked softly as she shook her head. Almost
laughing at it. She hadn't realized she still was holding his hand, or she would have let go. But of course, he took the honor and dropped hers. "Well, at least you picked the right kind of arm candy." She nodded ad moved towards the refridgerator. "So, so you eat like I do or do you just drink blood? That could get boring..." Smirking, she moved closer. "You said anything I want right?" Pausing, she started to look through it. Findng some left over stew. "Is this okay?" She nodded towards the bowl in her had. When he spoke of him being naked, she blushed and returned the joke back. "In awe of how small you are my lord..."
