The Princess and the Thief (Music and I)

Taking the book from him, she moved over to the object that was on the table and put her hand on it before she muttered something under her breath. Soon, a flame appeared on top of the book and slowly started to burn it. Once the book was nothing but a pile of ashes, she walked over to him and clung to his arm without saying a word. She knew that she would have to pack a small bag before they fought. She had a few things that she could not leave behind.

"Do you have an idea on what to do?" she asked softly as she looked up at him curiously.

Malacai didn't notice the bit of magic she performed, his attention on the doorway until she reached him. As they walked down the hall, he looked at her. "Not yet, but at least we have until tomorrow night. You ready to go into the village?" he asked her, though it didn't really matter now, as they were walking in the opposite direction.

Allyson nodded her head slightly when he asked if she was ready. But even now, a small amount of fear could be seen on her face as they walked. But soon, she let go of his arm and held her head up as a few guards came into view. Once they saw the rather cold glare coming from the Princess, they quickened their pace to leave her and Malacai alone again.
