Hooray for being a mid semester transfer. Vanora had just moved into town, and she was forced into the public school system. Her long, dark red, almost black hair hung down, covering her ears. Thankfully, it was a lot cooler here than where her family was from, allowing her to wear a beanie also to cover her pointed ears. Vanora and her family were elves, though they couldn't let anyone know. Their race was thought extinct hundreds of years ago, most almost completely bred out. However, some escaped to the jungles and forests, speaking their own languages. So, what happened that her family were forced from the jungle to the city in another country? They had nearly been discovered by people that tore down the trees and found their homes, so they were forced to leave.

So she sighed and stepped into the school building along with the other students that rushed to their lockers and homerooms, slowly making her way to the office after finding one girl that was willing to slow down long enough to give her directions. Vanora bit her lip and asked for her schedule, glancing at it curiously. There was no way she was going to get to any of her classes without some kind of help. She sighed and stepped out of the office to wait for someone that could help her. The young elf doubted that she would make any friends, since no one would slow down long enough to say anything to her.

"Goddamn it not again." Were the first words to escape his mouth as his blurry vision cleared, the numbers on the alarm clock that rested a few feet from his bed in clear view. It was 7:45 am and he was most likely going to be late for school... again.

Springing from his bed, he feet landed firmly on the ground as he marched off to his closet in quite the rush. Quickly glancing through his clothes that hanged idly off of their hangers, he fingered through each set of his clothes in search of what he believed was his spare school uniform, his previous one lost due to an accident involving ketchup, mustard and the words "Bet you can't hit me from here with that ketchup and mustard bottle..." Needless to say he lost that bet. The uniform itself wasn't all too fancy, a basic pair of navy blue slacks with a light blue buttoned up shirt, quite honestly it was quite more boring than the girl uniforms, the school allowing them to make slight customizations on account of them being girls...

Regardless, he had to put this on to attend school and he had to do it quickly, his previous attendance record being all but stained with late marks, he could really care less if it had not been that his homeroom teacher, Mr. Jefferson, hadn't warned his that each late attendance from then on would result in detention after school, and for that he rushed.

Hopping one leg into his pair of pants the other swiftly followed, as he made his way into the restroom, and hastily brushed his teeth with one hand, and the other attempted to fix his short brown messy head of hair much to no avail. "Guess that would have to do... girls like a semi-messy head of hair, don't they...?" He said to himself as he returned to his room to button up his shirt and fly out the door, giving nothing but a simple "hi" and "bye" to his parents as he nearly sprinted out the door with his school supplies on hand and a muffin in his mouth.

Jogging at quite the pace, his tall and slim figure nearly sprinted as he made his way to the school only a few blocks down from his home. Reaching the school gates, he dashed past them as he swallowed the last piece of his muffin. Contemplating to him whether he should run the risk of getting caught by the hall monitor for running in the halls, he figured it was worth the risk and dashed through the halls anyways, the halls mostly clear as the final minute ticked away for homeroom to start. Continuing his hurried pace, he made his way down the hall to a sudden right turn.

Making a complete ninety degree turn without losing a beat, his dark green eyes suddenly caught your unfamiliar eyes, as he nearly ran into you. There not being much recourse but to either run right into you or attempt to attempt to dodge, he chose the later and dipped his shoulder. Dropping with a roll over his shoulder, he just missed you as he landed on all fours just a few feet in feet in front of you, a heavy gasp escaping his mouth as he attempted to catch his breath. Looking up at you, he breathed heavily and said... "Sorry about that... didn't know you were there."
