As the Fates would have it

Lily walked up and smiled softly at him her eyes while thankful held a soft sorrow. She leaned up and softly kissed him on the cheek. She leaned back a soft warm blush touching her cheek bones. "It is more than you make it out to be, I am sure if you had not come along something would have happend to me out there." She said her voice soft.

"Why are you not married? I mean you look of age to have a wife and maybe even a child." She asked siting in a chair off to his side.

Andissiel was stunned slightly as she leaned up to kiss him on the cheek. His heard skipped a beat and immediately his cheeks turned a shade of red. His skin screaming out for more even her lips left his face. He smiled at her before answering the question.

“I’m not around others often to socialise and meet new people. My duty, to keep the roads and pathways safe from trouble, stops me visiting towns and cities where people dwell, and even if I do it is on business not pleasure.”

Lily gave him a long look, "You must have someone in your life. You are far to good looking to gowith out the attention of a woman." She said softly running her fringers through her soft silky ponytail. "I mean you are good looking even by elfish standereds.

Sheclosed her eyes and streatched, reaching her arms up to the sky. "I was suppsoed to get married, but that man is dead more tham likely." She said softly. She was an odd one, most women would be weeping if they were in her place. Yet she remained strong.

“No. There’s no one” Andissiel said. His cheeks turned red as he blushed slightly at her compliment. He had been complimented on his looks by others, but when she said it, it seemed to have more of an effect on him.

“Thanks. You are also very beautiful” He replied honestly.

“Marriage? But you are still young” he commented, as he moved to sit in the chair next to her. “There is a chance he might have escaped and survived. You did” The elf said, trying to comfort her.

Lily gave him a soft smile, "He is not the type who would make it out. he would have been tellingthem to get out of his house and to leave the town." She rolled her eyes, "That man had nothing between the ears but it was supposed to be a 'smart match'." She said with a soft sigh.

Andissiel watched her lips as she spoke, and barely fought back the urge to lean across and kiss them. This human had a very alluring quality about her which he could barely resist. Instead he returned her smile

“You do not seem to upset about that” he said. To his knowledge, humans grieved terribly at the loss of a loved one, yet this one was different.

He looked outside the window a moment, the pleasant afternoon sky turning into night, a dense blackness coming over the forest.

“Its getting dark”

Lily blinked in shock, "Oh, I am sad that he is dead, but I will not miss him. I do miss my mother and father though but tears make nothing change." she saidsaddly. She too then looked out side.

"yes, it is."She noddded softly then looked back to Andissiel. "Thank you again for all your help."

“I guess your right” Andissiel said. Tears don’t make anything change, that is left down to words and actions.

“It’s my pleasure” the Elf said, smiling softly at her. “You shall sleep in my bed tonight” he indicated towards it slightly with his head. “I will sleep on the floor, and before you say anything, you are my guest and so shall sleep in comfort.”

Lily shook her head softly. "I can't do that. Letting you sleep on the floor would be wromh." She said softly. She bit her lip thinking. She was trying tot hink of something that would make them both happy.

"We could share the bed." She suggested with a soft smile.

A look of confusion spread across Andissiel’s face a moment as he thought about what Lily had suggested. By the way she had said it, it had seemed sincere, and the Elf could detect no hidden suggestions behind her words. She just wanted to come to an agreement between the two of them, and that disappointed him slightly. Yet, he thought, it would allow him to get closer to her.

He returned her smile.

“I suppose that could work. But, only because I know there will be no agreeing with you otherwise”

Lily walked up to him and looked into his eyes. She gave him a soft slighly sad smile. "You have done so much for me. Is there anything at all I can do to make this up to you?" She whispered. She leaned into his chest slightly losing her balnce from a pain in her leg.

Andissiel looked at Lily as she walked closer to him and returned her smile.

“Your thanks is all I need” he replied. Although, he thought to himself, I wouldn’t say no to some others things. He pushed the thought from his mind quickly, as it would be inappropriate to ask for such things.

He caught her as she lost her balance, the elf’s arms wrapping around the human as she leaned against his chest. His heart fluttered slightly at being so close to her, and he looked down into her deep blue eyes.

Lily blaushed a soft pink. She looked up at him her eyes soft and embaressed. She gave a small sheepish smile. "I am so sorry. I twisted my leg before and I fell." She blushed even deeper after speaking

She looked up at him with a smile and softly she kissed his lips. The kiss was soft, warm, and oh so sweet. She broke the kiss after a moment andturned walking away to lay down giving him a soft smile before disapering into the room.

Andissiel smiled softly as she blushed, the colour highlighting her attractive features. His heart skipped a beat as her tender lips pressed against his own in a kiss. He responded to it slightly, and when they parted he immediately wanted more.

“…” He opened his mouth to speak, to say anything, but no words would come to him. He returned her smile, and watched her as she turned and walked away. He felt something stir within him, waiting a moment to think, before following her.

Lily was laying on the bed by the time hecame into the room. She had taken off her borrowed pants and lay there only wearing his long hirt. she seemed to be thinking but looked over at him once she noticed her was here. She miled and laid back down closing her eyes witha sigh.

Andissiel stopped as he walked into the room, shocked at the sight laid before him. The Elf looked over her form, feeling a slight stirring within his pants as she looked at him and smiled, his shirt barely covering her. He returned her smile. Walking quietly across the room, watching her constantly as she closed her eyes. He reached the bed, and throwing all reason to the wind, bent down and placed his lips against hers in a soft kiss. After a moment he pulled away, and stood himself back up to his full height and looked down at her smiling.

Lily blused softly and looked away from him. She coughed softly and quietly then looked back. She was not sure what to say. He was handsome and kind, she wanted to speak sweet nothings but her mouth had other plans. "Maybe I should sleep elsewhere."

((Hmm should he get a bit more agresive in his advances maybe?))

Andissiel watched her response silently. It was too late to turn back now, so he thought that he may as well press on just a little bit more. He placed a knee on the bed, looking down at her, as his hand drifted to her side. He leaned down, as if to kiss her, but then moved his lips closer to her ear. He whispered, his voice soft, quiet and very suggestive.

“And where would the fun be in that?”

"I am sorry. I have lead you to belive that there is something between us when there isn't any. I do thank you for your help, and you are very handsome, but even still I need to not behave in this way until I am married." Lily said softly a deep red blush burning her face.

Sighing loudly, he stood up. Andissiel looked down at her silently, a look of slight anger upon his face. However, this was also mixed with embarrassment at being turned down. He turned away from the bed, and walked out of the room, quickly followed by the slamming of the cabin door as the elf stormed outside.

He drew his sword and threw it into ground in anger, accompanied by a slight growl. He sat down by the stream, and placed his head in his hands.

“Stupid.” He chastised himself.
“Just my luck to get the only human who can keep their legs closed.”
