Terence was not a nice person.

Then again, when one has lived through most of human history, one tends to become somewhat jaded. Terence was 'embraced' early in time of Gilgamesh, when Sumeria was the place to be and everything was incredible and things were very different. He was promised power, immortality, and beauty by a young woman. He got them. It wasn't fun, but he got them. And he regretted it. With his powers came a slew of problems, chief among them a group of people calling themselves The Vigil. Werewolves, Vampires, Demons, Automata... most of them nearly wiped clean from the face of the earth since they began their little club some two or three hundred years ago.

The rain. He hated the rain. It drenched his long black hair, and he had to blink constantly to keep it from stinging his pale blue eyes. He looked over his shoulder as he moved onto the grass. His long legs slipped on the rain-slicked vegetation, and he fell on his ass and kept going, through a ground floor window and into a basement, where he fell on his face, power ripped from his body like a limb. He groaned and passed out quietly.

He wore only a pair of black slacks, the rest either lost in the chase or not worn when it began. he has small cuts on his body from the glass, but they bled slowly. His body was like a swimmer's, lithe and slightly muscular, and he was tall.

Alice was off to make her runs around town , skip-hopping herself out from the house with a large bag and a long list full of groceries and things needed by the both of them . She was under average height and for some reason still proud . Alice had been living with her friend for a good time now , they got along well and were friends from such a young age . It would be amazing if they hadn't ended up sharing a room , knowing how much easier it would make things for both of them . Alice would be gone for hours , unaware of the intruder and taking her day merrily . Stopping at all of the usual shops , saying hello and giving greetings to other friends that they never had much time to see anymore .

[ Sorry for le short post . :c ]

Kim was at home, she didn't have the urge to leave the house on the stormy day, she stayed in the house waving goodbye as Alice made her way with the list of things they both needed. She made her way to the kitchen, she was going to make lunch, she hoped Alice would make it back in time to eat it with her. She slowly made a couple of sandwich's though it was still pretty earlier in the day, she nibbled on one of hers, feeling hungry. She made her way to the window-seat in the living room, she grabbed her current book and sat there munching on the sandwich.

The young man in the basement groaned as he rose, cricking his neck. The cuts on his body healed, leaving him feeling a bit weaker, and he looked around. He found a broom, and swept the glass into the nearby garbage. Then he sealed the window with duct tape and tarp, making certain the seal was tight. But now, he was essentially trapped. To go out was to die, but he had yet to be invited. If he stayed, he'd eventually lose all his power. He sighed, running his fingers through his hair. What to do... What to do... He wiped himself down with a towel, ridding himself of blood as thunder rumbled, then knocked on the basement door.

"Er, excuse me. I seem to have fallen into your basement." he called.

An hour had to had gone by of Alice being gone and shopping around for their items . Well . . and picking up a few things for herself and Kim that looked pretty cute . She jogged through the door with the basket and plopped over onto the couch lazily with her . " Have another ? " Alice questioned , pawing through the basket of their items to pull out for her approval before setting aside . The voice that was coming from who knows where hadn't bothered her much at first , figuring that she was just hearing things or maybe a television was on somewhere .

Kim smiled looking through all the things that Alice had bought, she smiled happily, before hearing the voice, she blinked. "Hey Alice.. did you hear that voice...? It came from inside the house.. I don't have any television's on in the house." She says standing up and setting her book down. "I say we go look.. I'm curious.." She says walking to the middle of the floor. "Your in the basement? We'll come find you. Be right there!" She calls out to the voice that had to them.

He called back, "Alright!" and sat on the basement stairs. In thought, he mulled over what he had. He was old enough, still, to retain his power over the opposite sex. A simple intonation would make his words sound very appealing and interesting. He also retained his healing power. But he needed blood, that was a priority. Not an immediate one, but at least within the next few days...
Oh, and an invitation into the house proper to avoid further power loss. That was important too.
