All names can/will be changed. It just makes identifying the characters easier.
Also, most of these characters are interchangeable in terms of gender/roles played.
Killing Me Softly – Growing up, they were inseparable. Alice went to Tony whenever she was having trouble with boys or needed help with work, and she was there whenever he needed to surprise his girlfriends and push him try something new. They fought sure, but what siblings didn’t? That all changed when she disappeared her freshman year of high school. They searched for her for five years but nothing ever came up. No note, no calls, no body. It left him and his family devastated. He spent another three years picking up the pieces and finally found the love of his life, started a family and tried to forget. Then his family ended up in the wrong place at the wrong time, dozens of people were killed in what people assumed was a heist by a mysterious woman the media has coined The Reaper. His only goal in life, the only reason he still wakes up is to seek retribution, no revenge, for the family and love he’s lost. He would take everything he could from her – her self-worth, will to live, and actual life. When the day comes that he finally confronts her, his emotions get the best of him and he assaults her in more ways than one. And then the mask comes off and the realization of who she really is, the sister he lost so long ago, cuts him deeper than any knife and leaves him more confused than ever.
All those years after the accident that took his wife and unborn child, Alice had felt horrible for being the one that had killed them, even accidentally. She never even knew that her family was still alive until that day. The told her they’d been killed, that she no longer had a family. She was their property, theirs to train, theirs to reprogram, theirs to perfect. She didn’t question orders, question particular hits until now. She doesn't blame Tony for the anger and she isn't entirely angry at her brother’s actions. Maybe this was punishment for all of her sins. They’ve both done wrong, both been wronged, but is that enough to overcome everything that’s happened thus far? Is that enough to forgive, possibly even love? Does it matter when they both have targets on their heads now?
Black Widow – She thought her husband loved her. He used to call her beautiful when no one else did. He didn’t mind the little extra that filled out her skirt and shirt, or the fact that she preferred reading to partying. He said she was special…at least in the beginning. But then, the snide remarks came. Why didn’t she speak up for herself? What was with the frumpy clothes? Why hide behind the stupid fucking romance novels instead of living life? Why couldn’t she be better in bed? All he wanted was a good wife and he got her. It wasn’t long before he started coming home later, before the smell of another’s perfume followed him to bed. And then he brought her into their home. She arrived a little too early from work one day and found them fucking on her washing machine like it was their last day on earth…and it was. As he told her countless times, no one noticed her. So neither noticed when she came back with a knife, neither had time to run...and she loved it. It was such a rush, such a confidence boost. He wanted her to change? Well with his help, she transformed. After burying them, she bought herself a new wardrobe, removed her ring, and had a new outlook on life. If men wanted to cheat, wanted the fuck of their lives, she was just a phone call away. Afterall, she loved her meat fresh.
Mind games - One part of him loves her, worships the ground she walks on and doesn't know what he'd do without her. The other part sees her as nothing more than a plaything (not a fucktoy, mind the difference), another form of entertainment, simply his prey. She only knows the loving side of him, at least that's what she thinks. She doesn't know the phone calls, the letters, the pictures, or "gifts" are from him as well. She doesn't know who she's sleeping with. Will she find out before it's too late to save herself? Will he be able to keep his two worlds seperate?
Better Left Unsaid - Emma is a smart woman, newly graduated with a lot of hopes and dreams. Unfortunately, when it's discovered that her father's sick and his health is quickly deteriorating, everything in her life is put on hold to take care of him. She applies to whatever job she can get the fastest and starts working to pay bills but it isn't enough. It seems like nothing she does is ever enough. At her wits end, she decides to post an ad looking for a caregiver to help her with her father and give her the time she needs to find a better paying job in her field and get herself together. After a lot of interesting interviews she finds Mark who seems perfect for the job. He's a good person inside and out, and her father even takes a liking to him. That being said, he has a past that she wants no part of but he convinces her it will not affect his job, so she hires him. As time goes on, the two begin to talk more and open up about themselves. Despite her earlier misgivings she can't help her growing feelings, but what happens when his past comes back to haunt him? It would be great if this was filled filled with romance, angst, but also a happy ending.
No Good Deed - No one really believed we'd run out of oil, but after three years without it, one might start to wonder. Most oil corporations have gone under and the few that remain continue to drill in the hopes of discovering a miracle. Unfortunately, their drilling only resulted in the release of an ancient mist filled with spores that have infected the susceptible, turning them into mindless hosts whose only purpose was to spread the disease. With the world seemingly coming to an end many have become ruthless and the insane are free to roam. If the infected don't get you first, someone else will.
E eventually learns that the hard way when she encounters 3 men who crave her body just as much as the infected. Cornered, stripped & with nowhere to run, she can't help but think the man who comes to her rescue is nothing short of her savior. However, in this world no one is as they seem and nothing is done for free. If she wants safety, she might just become his pleasure, his bait & his bargaining chip.

They hit it off really well in the few hours they spent together, so they decided to exchange numbers. However, as time went on, and as they became more acquainted with one another, lines were crossed. Soft moans, whispered breaths, and hushed sounds of sex filled the cart instead of the usual conversation. They loved their significant others, but the attraction they felt to one another whenever they took those trips was undeniable. They can't remain a secret, and neither know if what they have could survive outside of the train. Is it a risk they're willing to take?

He’s lean with a little bulk in his shoulders and thighs from all the work they get. He’s usually dressed in black jeans, black t-shirt, and black sneakers, only wearing a suit when he’s scheduled to meet his boss. His nails are always trimmed. There’s a long perfectly lined scar that goes down from the center of his neck and down his spine. He walks like someone who’s never had someone to walk with, quick and flexible. During the few moments when he’s standing or sitting in one spot, you’ll find his hands loosely clasped together in front of him with not one ounce of movement.
In his Demi form there are varying shades of dark blue scales line the outside of his neck, arms and legs in no particular pattern, and down his back with a few on his cheeks and hands. His fingernails and toenails sharpen into talons and a deep blue pointed tail rests at his feet.
In his dragon form, he stands at 12’ with a 30’ wing span and the scales in his demi form now cover his body. The talons are considerably longer, black and sharpened to a point. The scar the lines his spine in his human form remains and his left wing has a tear in the center. He is extremely cold to the touch. He is no longer in his adolescent stage after 50 years, but he is not a full adult yet in this form. It is unknown when he will reach this stage as his growth does not correspond to reptilian or humanoid growth stages.
Personality: He’s a listener so when it’s his turn to speak don’t interrupt. It’s difficult for him to understand anyone else’s sarcasm but his own so he takes most at their word. He is very much a “work through the pain” type of person mostly due to Yulily’s grueling and mandatory training. He will do his job even if he has to cry, curse, or scream through it. He has no problem voicing how he’s feeling but it rarely goes with what his face is exhibiting, making it hard for people to connect with him sometimes. He’s mellow about most things unless it’s something he’s really passionate about whether it’s swimming, discussing killing methods, or cooking recipes. During those times, the light in his eyes is blinding and energy he exhibits is overwhelming. While he doesn’t always thirst for blood, toying with people and hurting them as deeply as he can is his favorite past time. He’s developed a bit of a...taste for despair over the years.
While he does have superhuman abilities, he prefers to kill with his hands as efficiently as possible. The other means are far messier and while it takes less effort, he likes to keep his combat skill sharp and there’s something about physically making another body do what you want it to do that he just can’t pass up.
Beyond that he’s a bit of a jokester when he warms up to people, playful in a way he never got to be as a child and always up for adventure to keep him occupied. He’s one of the lucky few who were allowed that sort of freedom in adulthood by Yulily.

He had a penchant for swimming, incredible stamina, and an ability to manipulate water in all its forms. His agility was unmatched and still is under water. It took only ten years for him to reach full adulthood and it was discovered not long after that that he could shapeshift into a dragon, although one much young than his humanoid form would belie. Once his abilities and mental state were was to be stable, they sent him out on his first mission, one that he completed his such fervor, they had no worries about his allegiance to Yulily. That was 50 years ago and he never strayed. They were right of course, he was born without anyone else in his life but Yulily. His mother didn’t want him and he had no father to speak of. They treated there assassin like shit, yes, but he had more freedom, stability, and comraderie there then the things they experimented on further below. She could handle the a few walkers but people were a different story. There were no buildings to hide in. No diversions. It was too late to turn back now though. She didn’t even remember how to get back to the main road.

His voice was light but she heard his gruff intentions clearly. She knew the look in their eyes. She’d seen in it many times since everything went to shit. People dropped their facades of morality when there was no one to stop them, not justice system to keep them off the streets. “My door is always open.” She shrugged halfheartedly, as a small shaky smile came to her face, completely at odds with the deep crease between her brows and sadness in her honeyed eyes. It was clear that this wasn’t something Karla took lightly, it wasn’t a just a choice she decided to make from her long list of options. She just kept reminding herself that it would be a temporary thing, that he didn’t have to take advantage of what she was offering. Shawn was many things to Karla, but he had always been kind and respectful in his dealings with her. She didn’t know what went on behind closed doors nor did she think much about it until now. But she couldn’t help but think that, regardless of what choice he made, he would remain that way.

It Could Be Worse
I shouldn’t have left. With bated breath, Nora McAdams lumbered through the forest with nowhere to go. Each step seeming harder than the last, but she knew she shouldn't stop. After travelling for three hot days, she realized she wasn’t cut out for living in the woods. Water was low, food was hard to come by, and her skin was starting to burn from the sun. Even so, her hideout had been overrun by walkers for the third time, she knew staying in city was a death wish. There were too many blind spots, too many people looking for shelter, food. She couldn’t afford to get caught by anything or anyone. It was hard sometimes – to walk past people who were injured or alone. After spending three years in a profession where it was her duty to help and care for people, turning her back felt wrong. And even though life in the forest was scarce, she couldn’t help feeling like she might’ve made the wrong decision. What was she going to do when the food ran out? Yeah she could build a fire, but she couldn’t hunt. Hell even if she could, she was too scared the smoke would attract unwanted attention. She could handle the a few walkers but people were a different story. There were no buildings to hide in. No diversions. It was too late to turn back now though. She didn’t even remember how to get back to the main road.
Tired and with nowhere to go she paused at a tree to catch her breath. It was hot being dressed in black boots, skinny jeans, and a white long sleeved shirt but it protected her a bit more if a walker ever grabbed her and kept her warm during the colder nights. No one said survival would be a walk in the park. The sun was thankfully starting to set and with any luck, she’d be able to find a tree sturdy enough for her to hide out in. Squatting down, she dropped her backpack and pulled out the canteen to moisten her parched throat.
Nora heard them before she saw them and knew then it was too late to do anything. Dropping her water, her hand immediately went to the knife at her belt as she turned towards the voices, body tense, eyes alert. Her heart jumped as she saw three men slowly approaching her. The two on the outside seemed unarmed, but the one in the middle held a machete in his hands.
“Well, well, well. Look what we have here.” With each step they took towards her, she took one back. A quick assessment told her she couldn’t out run them. While one was fat, the other two seemed like they’d have no problem catching up to her as tired as she was. Licking her lips she scanned the area to see if there were any walkers around, anything at all really that could help her. With her pulse sounding in her ears, and her breath heightening, she knew she was in trouble. Calm down Nora. The grip on her knife tightened as she finally opened her mouth.
“If you’re looking for supplies my bag is right behind you. Take what you want and leave. I don’t want any trouble.” The man in the middle laughed while the other two look her up and down, smirks on their cracked lips.
“Oh it’s not your supplies we want honey, but we’ll be sure to use those too.” The middle one who spoke a d who she assumed was their leader, tightened his grip on his weapon while the other two drifted away from him and stalked closer to her. His voice was light but she heard his gruff intentions clearly. She knew the look in their eyes. She’d seen in it many times since everything went to shit. People dropped their facades of morality when there was no one to stop them, not justice system to keep them off the streets. She’d witnessed the brutality of men when they cornered women in the streets while people were too crazed to notice. Sheremembered feeling guilty for not helping them, for thinking of herself. Her job was to save people, yet she turned a blind eye. Maybe this was karma. Or maybe she was just the idiot who should’ve been more aware of her surroundings. She let her guard down when she shouldn’t have.
“Don’t do this.” She couldn’t keep the tremor from her voice when she spoke. She wouldn’t admit it, and hoped she didn’t show it, but she was afraid. Their leaders eyes, lightened at her plea. The ice in them made it clear that he had not sympathy, no
compassion.
“Don’t do what? You? Oh I’m afraid I can’t agree to that. You see it’s been a long time since we’ve had some fresh meat and you just don’t give that up. Boys.” With a nod in Nora’s direction the other two sprinted towards her and she immediately turned to run. She managed a couple of minutes before they caught up to her, one of them snatching the back of her tank top and pulling her to the ground. The impact knocked the air out of her lungs, but it didn’t stop her from lashing out with her knife. A loud curse let her know she hurt one of them but it didn’t stop the other from stomping on her hand. A cry escaped her throat as pain shot through her wrist and she dropped the knife.
“You little bitch!” A kick to her stomach had her seeing spots as a hand wrapped around her throat until she couldn’t breathe, and a face came into her line of vision. It was the fat one. He bent down to straddle her while the other grabbed her arms and held them down so she wouldn’t fight. His breath smelled stale and sick as he leaned into her.
“I’m gonna have some fun with you!” No, no, no. She tried to buck the man off, but it was no use, it only made the man on top of her more excited as he backhanded her twice with enough force to draw blood.
“Now not too rough Martin. What’s the point of fucking her if you mess up that pretty face her hers? Kyle tie her hands and feet.” She wheezed in air as the hand around her neck was removed and her shirt was ripped open. Closing her eyes, she fought the urge to cry as hands squeezed her breast before they forced her onto her stomach and pushed her face into the ground. Bile rose in her throat as she felt hands on her back and fought against the restraints with renewed vigor, but it was no use. The feeling of fingers at the waist of her pants had her protesting again as she tried to think of anything that would help her. This wasn’t how she wanted to die. She didn’t want someone to find her broken and raped. Helpless. She’d rather die.
“NO! You fucking piece of shit! Get off me!” The snarl ripped from her throat as she felt hands teasing the waistband of her jeans and knew they were toying with her.
“Now don’t be that way. I like when you struggle baby, but that’s only gonna make it harder for you.” The amusement in their leader's voice made her want to scream. He dropped the machete next to her head, taunting her. It wasn’t long before she heard the sound of his jeans unzipping and her jaw clenched as she tried, and failed, to prepare for what was about to happen.
“Now why don’t you take a break and save that energy for my other two brothers?”
No Good Deed
Haley was on a trip home from visiting some friends in Canada when everything went to shit. The twenty four year old never even made it back home. On the way there, someone walked on to the tracks before the train had time to stop. It was only later that they realized it was one of those things, a human that turned. No one knew what happened; news broadcasts called it a national emergency and later a world one. Whatever was infecting people was spreading too fast to be contained or studied. They told everyone to get to designated areas before all broadcasting shut down. Haley was too far from any of the points they’d mentioned so she decided her best bet was to get to the cabin that her family used to travel to during the summers. It was dangerous, true, but she knew how to survive out there and the cities were far worse. She hadn’t anticipated it taking two months, but she learned quickly to stay off the main roads. Between staying out of sight, staying fed, and sleeping it wasn’t that bad. Staying fed was why she was in the deserted grocery store contemplating dated canned steak. She made sure to check every inch of the place before gathering supplies. Unfortunately, for her, it wasn’t good enough.
The quick sound of footsteps made her turn suddenly only for her neck to snap back as a heavy hand connected with her jaw. The blood that immediately pooled in her mouth was followed by a burst of pain and a ringing in her ears as she hit the shelf. Her hand went for the gun at her waist, but before she had time to regain her bearings, it was twisted from her hands and she was being pulled back by the ponytail and dragged down the aisle. An involuntary scream wrenched from her mouth as she felt her individual hairs being pulled from her scalp.
Fucking, fuck!
“Looks like we got ourselves a screamer!” A swift kick to her abdomen quieted any of Haley’s cries as her diaphragm froze. The retching sounds that sprung from her throat only seemed to rile her assailants.
This wasn’t happening. She’d survived for two months on her own. It couldn’t go down like this.
“As much as I like the sound, we can’t have you calling unwanted attention. Terrance and Luke, keep watch while we take care of our little guest. We know how much you like sloppy seconds.” Blinking through the pain, she managed to see four blurred bodies, and the man dragging her abruptly let go. Wheezing past the pain in her stomach she scrambled to try to get away, her brain in flight mode despite the odds. A sharp laugh rang out at her attempt as a shoe shoved her back onto the ground, her breast pressing painfully onto the cold surface. She tried to push up but didn’t have to energy or upper body strength and felt the first tears of frustration.
“If only it were that easy, baby. Imagine our surprise when we saw you crawling your cute little ass through that window! You really know how to move.” A hiss of pain escaped her lips as a pair of hands twisted her arms sharply behind her back, bound her with a zip tie, and hauled her to her feet by the back of her shirt. Shock faded as her ire rose at finally setting eyes on one of her assailants. The man in front of her was a little taller than her out 5’4” height, lean, and middle aged. He had the devil in his light eyes and a smirk slashed across his face.
“Like what you see?” Her only response was to spit in his face, saliva and blood mixing together to create a thick film on face. She saw the anger flare on his face and winced as the man holding her bent her arm at an unnatural angle.
“I suggest you not waste what little fluid you have. I know how much you cunts hate a dry fuck.” He snatched her face between his hands and moved closer, alcohol staining his words. “And don’t think we don’t plan on using each and every one of the holes you got.” Pushing her face away he turned away and walked through and open door down aisle. The man behind Haley tried to push her towards the door, but she dug her heels in until he was forced to drag her. She did whatever she could to make the short distance harder for him, hoping it would tire him out. There was no real chance that she would make it out of here alive, but she wasn’t about to lay down and just take it.
The man handling her threw her small frame the rest of the way through the door like it was nothing, her back smacking hard into a desk. The leader pulled her up off the floor by her shirt, effectively chocking her, and slammed her face into the desk once.
“Now I want you to listen.” Then again.
“If you’re a good little slut, we won’t kill you.” And again. She felt her vision blurring once more as the room started to spin. They were toying with her and she was barely holding on, but in that moment, consciousness would be a blessing.
“Fuck up this special moment and we’ll let the eaters get you. Understand?” He mashed her face into the desk as he leaned into her line of vision.
“Do. You. Understand.” He smiled, waiting. Seeing the total lack of anything human in his eyes made something in her snap, her vision tunneling as she got another rush of adrenaline.
“You fucking coward!” The words were snarled as she bucked and kicked against him. She struggled against the restraints on her arms despite the prevalent pain in her wrists. “Only a bitch like you would need a bunch of fucking lackys to get a woman! Why don’t you go suck each other off, you fucking scum!”
“Just remember I tried. Guy’s you know the drill.” The leader smacked her ass before stepping back and letting the other two men take over. Lifting her up, one ripped through her shirt and bra, fingers mauling, pinching, assaulting her nipples and breast while the other took a knife to her jeans and panties. Any attempt to resist or spew whatever filth she could at them was met with a backhand to the face until she was clad in only her boots and the panties they shoved in her mouth. By the time they were done with her she couldn’t stand on her own, not that they wanted to.
“Back on the table. And tie her legs to each end.” The two did what was asked without a word as her fully exposed breast were pressed against metal the table. She couldn’t tell whether she shiver was from the cold surface, or the feeling of their leader standing behind her. She clenched her jaw as she felt a hot hand on her ass.
“Hmm small waist, big perky tits, nice ass. I wonder if anybody’s been in it. I guess we’ll find out soon enough. It’s a wonder you’ve managed to make it this long.” The sounds of pants unbuckling made her breath hitch as she started to slowly sit up. That only caused one of them to slam her back down.
“She really doesn’t learn, does she?” The other two men cackled. Haley wanted to end their lives, pictured throwing their dismembered bodies to a herd of those monsters outside. Even if she died today, she hoped her screams got their attention.
“Why don’t you teach her then?” There was a slight pause before she heard the clank of metal and snapping sound. Her blood ran cold as her body did the opposite of what she wanted, becoming hyper aware of her senses as it tried to figure out what was about to come. She knew every hit, every cock, every pain would be felt until her senses dulled again.
“I think I will.” Haley couldn’t stop the scream that followed as the first lick of leather hit her ass. They wanted to make sure she felt the full range of emotions before they were done with her.

☙ Spider-Man was awesome! I felt like it was becoming really cliche and boring, by the reboot renewed the excitement. The only thing I didn't like was the overabundance of CGI, but that's my complaint for all new movies. I miss not having the image drag and blur as it tries to mimick reality. It seriously fucks with my eyes and I hate it. That being said, I'm glad artists are getting these types of jobs and recognition for some really great work. It's a double edged sword I guess. Anywho Spider-Man is back on my radar again. c:
☙ So I was in a minor accident in a parking lot that ended up causing $1,865 in damages and I was so worried the insurance companies would find both of us, or me, at fault even though the other woman was the one backing into oncoming traffic and I had the right of way (she was really nice about it and we originally were going to cover the costs ourselves, but I'm still paying for my car and can't afford that right now after realizing the extent of the damage. I wrote her a letter apologizing going back on my word and still feel like complete shit about how I handled it). Luckily, her insurance company called and they're covering 90% of the damages! I'm super relieved. The only awkward part is that it turns out I know the lady. She's pretty prominent in the kink community and I'm just branching out there. I don't want what happened to affect how I'm treated and am nervous about going to some events now. I don't think she recognized me at the time, but she definitely will now. I'm super conflicted about it. :c

Despite her skepticism, it wasn't her kidnappers first foray. He'd committed petty crimes for cash before and had a few heists under his belt, but this was admittedly his biggest one yet. Holding someone hostage was foreign territory, but he needed the cash for his younger brother. Prior to now, every crime he committed was purely for his own self interest and whatever money was obtain was promptly used for his own lavish lifestyle or to fund his next gig. “Please, please don’t do this! I’m sorry!” The man floating fifteen stories over the edge of the car garaged had true terror in his eyes as he worked hard not to look down at the cement road that was surely waiting to meet him. The person he was making his plea to sat on the edge with her pale, slender legs and arms crossed, a small frown painting her full lips as her foot tapped against the air. Her violet eyes assessed the man’s face, all red and puffy from being upside down for the pass three minutes. Behind her stood a young teenage girl who clutched her torn blouse and was just starting to get some of the color back in her face. It was her panicked screams that alerted Rini to the scene not five minutes ago.
“Hm, that’s interesting because I don’t think you really are.” She focused on the string of energy that connected her to the man and used it to toss him in the arm as she looked behind her to the young woman while she delighted in the screams that ripped from the delinquent. “What do you think we should do?” The girl looked at her in surprise and shook her head.
“I-I don’t know. He wasn’t always -“ The girl looked down. “He never used to hurt me but-“ Rini cut her off.
“That may be, but if his heart was pure, he wouldn’t have been affected and certainly not to this extent.” The girl took in a quick breath, her eyes conflicted as she understood the truth in Rini’s words. There was a new threat in the city, a presence that sought out the darkest parts of people – the temptation, the greed, the jealousy, and the violence – and brought it to light. It cultivated it to eventually feast on and the city had become chaos because of it. Rini had yet to encounter the being, but word around town was that a few of the Sailor Scouts had managed to catch sight of it. It would’ve been of no concern to save the fact that it was upsetting the balance of light and darkness in their world and well, she preferred to stay on this planet a little while longer. She turned back towards the man and stopped his movements.
“How could you hurt a cutie girl like her?” she asked in exasperation. “Even after what you’ve done, she’s still sticking up for you. It’s so….sickeningly sweet. If that doesn’t chase the darkness from your heart what will?” She grinned. “Luck for you I have ti-”
“Wicked Lady let him go!” All eyes turned left to find the Sailor Scouts standing on the edge in their signature stances. You’d think they’d want some variety in poses. Rini sighed.
“Must you all interrupt everything? I was just in the middle of teaching him a well-deserved lesson.” Sailor Moon walked towards her, face determined and Rini stood up.
“Killing him is never the answer Wicked Lady. Two wrongs don’t make a right.” A smile graced her red lips.
“Well there in lies the problem you meatball. I don’t care about being right.” She shrugged. “Besides, I’m not going kill him.” All eyes looked at her in shock and the man being repeating the words thank you like a broken record.
“You…aren’t?” The confusion in Serena’s voice was evident and Rini huffed in annoyance.
“No. I’ve turned over a new leaf.” Rini wondered if the words sounded as hollow to them as it did to her. “The Wiseman and everyone in the Negamoon are going to extremes and it's become bothersome. We wanted to create a new world, but they’re even destroying that and I want no part of it. What’s the point of a world when there are no subjects to rule.” That part was true, the Negamoon had strayed farther and farther from their original path, but Rini had left them long ago, preferring to do whatever was in her best interests with her partner Marcel. The lack of their constant influence caused her view on good and evil to shift, but killing those who have done wrong wasn’t one of them. Sailor Jupiter stepped forward, skepticism clear on her face.
"Why should we believe you? Not even two weeks ago, you knocked a man to the moon and used Tuxedo Mask as a punching bag." Rini laughed sheepishly.
"Well yes. That did happen and please do let Tuxedo Mask that he has my sincerest apologies." She cleared her throat. "But I have changed. I left Marcel a few days ago and you know how devious he can be. He's been looking for me ever since, but beyond that," She held up a perfectly manicured finger. "I haven't killed one soul in the past seven days. I saved this lovely innocent and many like her. And while it's true that I like to play with my prey." She looked at the man in contempt. "I had every intention to drop him off at the nearest police station with nothing more than a marred face and some cracked ribs" She walked towards the scouts, imploring them while wondering just how long it would take Marcel to find her.
"Girls. The longer I live here on earth, the more I realize that we're both after the same thing. We seek balance, yes?" She looked at them expectantly, grinning wider when she saw Sailor Pluto nod hesitantly.
"There cannot be light without darkness and I know that I'll never have the pure light that any of you possess....and I don't really want it, but I can maintain the pure darkness. Together we can maintain yin and yang. We can being about a harmony to this world and remove the extremists." Rini knew they'd never believe she fully embraced the light, but this angle was much more believable as it was closest to the truth. Regardless, that wasn't why Rini was still here talking to them.
It was because she was ready for Marcel come find her and come claim her. You see, she was bored and annoyed with Marcel for not being the absolutely doting partner that she was used to due to his work. So, instead of telling him this like any normal person, she decided to play games by spending that entire week slowly becoming someone else, a compelling performance of learned innocence. It culminated in leaving Marcel a letter stating that she was leaving him to form an alliance with the Sailor Scouts and to leave her alone. She knew her love like the back of her hand and that he would disregard her wishes to find her.

There was a new threat in the city, a presence that sought out the darkest parts of people – the temptation, the greed, the jealousy, and the violence – and brought it to light. It cultivated it to eventually feast on and the city had become chaos because of it. Rini had yet to encounter the being, but word around town was that a few of the Sailor Scouts had managed to catch sight of it. It would’ve been of no concern to save the fact that it was upsetting the balance of light and darkness in their world and well, she preferred to stay on this planet a little while longer. She turned back towards the man and stopped his movements.
“How could you hurt a cutie girl like her?” she asked in exasperation. “Even after what you’ve done, she’s still sticking up for you. It’s so….sickeningly sweet. If that doesn’t chase the darkness from your heart what will?” She grinned. “Luck for you I have ti-”
“Wicked Lady let him go!” All eyes turned left to find the Sailor Scouts standing on the edge in their signature stances. You’d think they’d want some variety in poses. Rini sighed.
“Must you all interrupt everything? I was just in the middle of teaching him a well-deserved lesson.” Sailor Moon walked towards her, face determined and Rini stood up.
“Killing him is never the answer Wicked Lady. Two wrongs don’t make a right.” A smile graced her red lips.
“Well there in lies the problem you meatball. I don’t care about being right.” She shrugged. “Besides, I’m not going kill him.” All eyes looked at her in shock and the man being repeating the words thank you like a broken record.
“You…aren’t?” The confusion in Serena’s voice was evident and Rini huffed in annoyance.
“No. I’ve turned over a new leaf.” Rini wondered if the words sounded as hollow to them as it did to her. “The Wiseman and everyone in the Negamoon are going to extremes and it's become bothersome. We wanted to create a new world, but they’re even destroying that and I want no part of it. What’s the point of a world when there are no subjects to rule.” That part was true, the Negamoon had strayed farther and farther from their original path, but Rini had left them long ago, preferring to do whatever was in her best interests with her partner Marcel. The lack of their constant influence caused her view on good and evil to shift, but killing those who have done wrong wasn’t one of them. Sailor Jupiter stepped forward, skepticism clear on her face.
"Why should we believe you? Not even two weeks ago, you knocked a man to the moon and used Tuxedo Mask as a punching bag." Rini laughed sheepishly.
"Well yes. That did happen and please do let Tuxedo Mask that he has my sincerest apologies." She cleared her throat. "But I have changed. I left Marcel a few days ago and you know how devious he can be. He's been looking for me ever since, but beyond that," She held up a perfectly manicured finger. "I haven't killed one soul in the past seven days. I saved this lovely innocent and many like her. And while it's true that I like to play with my prey." She looked at the man in contempt. "I had every intention to drop him off at the nearest police station with nothing more than a marred face and some cracked ribs" She walked towards the scouts, imploring them while wondering just how long it would take Marcel to find her.
"Girls. The longer I live here on earth, the more I realize that we're both after the same thing. We seek balance, yes?" She looked at them expectantly, grinning wider when she saw Sailor Pluto nod hesitantly.
"There cannot be light without darkness and I know that I'll never have the pure light that any of you possess....and I don't really want it, but I can maintain the pure darkness. Together we can maintain yin and yang. We can being about a harmony to this world and remove the extremists." Rini knew they'd never believe she fully embraced the light, but this angle was much more believable as it was closest to the truth. Regardless, that wasn't why Rini was still here talking to them.
It was because she was ready for Marcel come find her and come claim her. You see, she was bored and annoyed with Marcel for not being the absolutely doting partner that she was used to due to his work. So, instead of telling him this like any normal person, she decided to play games by spending that entire week slowly becoming someone else, a compelling performance of learned innocence. It culminated in leaving Marcel a letter stating that she was leaving him to form an alliance with the Sailor Scouts and to leave her alone. She knew her love like the back of her hand and that he would disregard her wishes to find her.

“Are you sure about this Inlaran? It’s not too late to back out.” How many times have those words, that question, assaulted her ears at this point? Are you sure…Do you know what you’re getting yourself into…What about your family…What if you don’t make it out…You won’t be the same if you come back. The constant barrage was starting to wear thin on her nerves. When she’d been called to headquarters for a meeting, Inlaran Chaik was unsure what to expect. She spent a good hour going over what she could’ve done to prompt the mandatory meeting. She’d successfully completed her missions over the past year, was on good terms with her comrades and her commander and was slated for promotion. None of those things required a trip to headquarters.“I know what I signed up for Marcus and you know me.” The deep Treodanian lilt laced her words as her ice grey eyes met her friend’s. “I don’t go back on my word.”
Inla remembered the rapid beating of her heart as she sat before the board after they asked her be the integral piece to a mission that would be the ultimate proof of her loyalty Demiria. They’d been keeping tabs on Treodanian refugees who were served in the military, watched as she specifically moved through the ranks, leafed through her performance reviews, and interviewed those who’d worked with her over the years and determined she was a prime candidate for mission that went beyond special OPS. The war had been waging nearly 20 years and Demiria was starting to lose headway. Detonating Eden still wasn’t an option, but they knew they needed to do something drastic. They needed to find Treodan’s atom bombs, it’s trigger, or it’s blueprints. They needed a way to disarm their ultimate weapon and they wanted her to infiltrate Treodan’s high council to find it. They gave her one week to think it over, but she found that she didn’t need it. Her immediate response was yes, so they forced her to return to the base to think it over.
“You know what they did to my parents, to my sister. Saying no was never an option.” Marcus’ eyes hardened, but she saw the sadness in them. Treodan declared anyone against the war a traitor and 18 years ago, her parents declared just that. They publicly protested, the Dimiria information, and helped anyone seeking aid. Inla remembered the many people who came through her home as a 10-year-old, some would give her treats, some would teach her how to shoot and the best places to hide. She also remembered when Treodanian soldiers raided her home, dragged her, her parents, and her older sister to the center of town. She remembered begging the soldier to spare her parents, remembered Soren’s cries as she struggled against the men, and the tortured screams of her parents as they were hung, drawn, quartered, and burned before their eyes. She still remembered the stench of their burning flesh. They took her and Soren to a camp where they stayed for two months before it came under fire by Dimiria. The Dimirian soldiers rescued who they could, but she lost her sister in the shuffle. It’s been 18 years now and Inla had yet to hear anything of her whereabouts or if she even made it out alive. Treodan destroyed everything she loved and her hatred for her country only burned brighter as the years went on.
Inla finished off her water and smiled to Marcus across the table. “Besides if they’re looking for the best there is…well there’s really only one choice and you boys just don’t know how to get the job done.” Marcus shook his head after she winked at him, but she managed to cut some of the tension in his face. “And my week is also up. I confirmed my response and am actually seeing the trainer after this. They told me I was familiar with them, but didn’t give any details beyond that.” She stood up to her full height of 5’7” and grabbed her tray. “I’ll catch up with you later alright?” He nodded and she made her way towards the exit of the mess hall.
Inlaran made her way steadily through the facility in civilian clothes as requested, passing by the gym and general training area to the restricted zone and further back still. She spent large chunks of time here over the last 7 years. She’d joined the military at 18 and hadn’t looked back since – throwing herself into training, fighting and learning everything could about the job and moving through the ranks. They tapped her 3 years ago for Special Ops and now she was the point person on her team for tactical coordination. Her record, paired with her background did make her perfect for the role, but they wouldn’t make it official until she completed training and they felt certain that she could handle the potential dangers that would come her way once she was on the other side.
Did the thought make her nervous? Yes. But she wanted to see every monster in the council burn. Inlaran paused as she came to stand in front of a large metal door with soldiers standing guard on either side. She nodded to them both before showing her ID. This was the first time she ventured this deep into the facility and she quickly realized how quiet it was. There was no white noise, save the ringing of own ears. A guard unlocked the door and opened it, allowing her to enter. She stepped over the threshold without a word and made a small sound of surprise at the room she entered. One side was bright, metallic and sterile while the other like some dungeon in a cave. In the middle of everything was a stainless-steel desk with two chairs on each side…one of them already occupied by a familiar face.
“Sir.” Inlaran assumed the formal position feeling a bit naked in just the black skinny jeans and grey fitted sweater, but the leather jacket helped a bit. They wanted her to get used to wearing civilian clothes while on assignment as that would be her uniform until the mission was complete.
“It’s been a while.”

"If you continue on like this you're going to kill yourself Mei. You can't keep pushing with brute force when your energy is blocked. Your psychic blade flickered out before you even engaged in battle!" Black heels clicked steadily down the corridor of Crown Manor as her friend's words fell on deaf ears. Yes, it was true that Mei's psychic abilities were unstable and yes, it caused some inconveniences in battle, but it wasn't anything she hadn't dealt with before. It would resolve itself on its own like it always did. Besides, she has more pressing things on her mind. Slender, calloused hands wrapped around the handle of the intricately designed walnut door and pushed it open to reveal her office. The statuesque woman immediately walked to her desk and turned on her computer, Christina doggedly at her heels. During the altercation with Red Eye, he accused her of possessing Curion's Box, something she had never heard of until that very moment. He had a nasty habit of assuming she knew more than she did, but she'd never correct the jock on it.
"Mei, don't ignore this. It's not just yourself you're putting at risk. Three of your own were injured out there. It's reckless at this point." For the first time since she arrived home, she looked up at the woman in front of her. The 29 year old was many things, but reckless wasn't one of them. She had a small, but mighty group of suped up humans that she took great care in protecting. There weren't many who had the clarity of mind to see that both superheros and supervillains had an equal hand in the deaths of so many humans. The "good" were too arrogant to think their shit didn't stink and the "bad" simply didn't care. Her group did the work neither would, minimizing harm to the group who didn't have the power to protect themselves. Did it mean she was often fighting both sides? Yes, but if it meant she could protect territories in her reach, then she'd never stop. She shook her head and reclined back into the leather chair, hot, irritated air slipping past her lips.
"Why do you have to press this issue so deeply Chris? If anyone on the team was injured, it was because they failed to adequately defend themselves. I don't train with them day in and out to have to watch them on the field. Everyone who makes a choice to go out there with me is putting their life on the line and they are well aware that I won't be there to baby sit them. Coming back with a few bruises is to be expected. I don't appreciate the dig at all Christina." Christina pursed her lips, but listened as Mei went on.
"More importantly, I don't need any psychic abilities to be take care of a little pipsqueak like Red Eye. He was nothing but an eye sore and snuffed out easy enough." Mei rubbed her nose and focused back on the screen. A quick search of the term Curion Box returned nothing but a cabinet of curiosities and a curio boxes. She was now wishing she hadn't accidentally pushed him off that cliff. She'd like to at least know what was in the box and why it was so important. Mei remembered the Pandora's Box fiasco and all it took to get it closed, she just hoped it wasn't more of the same.
"Fine, but don't you want to know why this seems to be happening to you like clockwork? I know you don't know much about how your powers work, but there has to be a reason behind this and what if it doesn't come back one day? What if it stalls at the wrong time? Your mom would be on your ass if she knew you weren't being serious about this. And we know It has side effect! The tiredness, headaches and soreness! What if-" Mei held up her hand, her normally full lips sealed in a tight line.
"You can stop. I don't want to hear anymore and I'm three seconds away from kicking you in the throat.," Christina gasped, affronted.
"But I love you, so I won't. If I tell you I will figure it out, will you stop nagging me about this?" The blonde-haired woman nodded, her normally blue eyes turning a warm amber in her relief and excitement.
"Yes! Just get it checked out and you won't hear about it from me again." Mei's brow rose in question.
"And just where do propose I get it 'checked out?'" She enunciated the words wryly, her dark eyebrows raised expectantly, but it only caused the smaller woman to clasp her hands.
"Don't worry, I know just the guy…well not guy. He's a doctor and don't worry! He's very professional and has a proven track record. Come on Mei, don't look at me like that. There's no one better than him in the western hemisphere, from what I've heard. You'll leave with no regrets." The grimace on Mei's face still didn't leave, but she didn't protest. A strange man touching her would never be on her list of enjoyables.
"Just let me know when and where. Now can you please leave me to work? And send Nathaniel in. I need to ask him about this Curion Box." Christina nodded and practically skipped out the room, leaving Mei with small smile on her face that she just couldn't shake. The woman was a persistent piece of work.

That's not to say that the temporary ginger wasn't feeling dread earlier in the evening. You see, Maira was six months post release and her psychiatrist felt it was time that she branched out a little, put herself out there and lean into the things that made her uncomfortable. Face your fears head on and all of that. Afterall, she was showing such great improvement according to Dr. Mattias. She managed to find a decent job nearly three months after her release. At 9 days shy of her 90-day employment mark, she was in a small, but affordable apartment and kept her ticks in check long enough to make it through the day with the inconvenient little drug medley that was prescribed to her. What the good doctor didn't know was that Maira never took the full dose, often found herself in the fetal position in the middle of her living room for hours on end during her good days and let her desire for order run rampant on her bad ones. She hated feeling like a shell of herself. Worse still, the medication didn't stop the intrusive, obsessive thoughts or feelings of inadequacy, they simply stopped her impulse to act on them along with her capacity to feel anything other than fine. Maira was still broken and she knew that, but still lied to the one person who had a fairly positive hand in keeping her from complete destruction and dug herself in a deeper hole trying to maintain the lie.
Despite getting in her own way more often than not, she did want to get better and there really was no better place to experience discomfort than on the event planning committee with all the type A personalities there to meet her OCD head on? Her mix came in the form of orderliness, perfectionism and excessive devotion to duties to the point of forgetting all else…so to say she was in good company was an understatement. The concept of this soiree was certainly the brainchild of her HR director and her team help set it in motion over the past three weeks, but it was Maira who handled the timeline and logistics. Assigning her those tasks was an easy decision for the team who knew how meticulous she was in her role as the UX design trainer. It was an area she should've been doing more in, but she didn't trust herself or her condition enough to try for anything better.
Instead, Maira took the small win that was this night and the enthusiastic approval from her colleagues that she didn't want to admit she so deeply craved. The craving went past her acquaintances, she'd been hoping to gain the approval of the one and only Luka Mitrovic ever since she joined the company. On the rare occasions she'd see him in the office, she always made a point to say hello and while he was…nice, Maira didn't think he'd be able to tell the difference between her or the security woman that sat at the entrance to the building. It was difficult to immediately understand the draw of Luka at first. Yes, she was addicted to WellBee and it was his labor of love, but as time went on she connected the dots. It was the way he spoke and moved through life. Luka was enigmatic. He challenged the world, and he did it with ease and a sense of calmness she'd never been able to convey. Men envied him and a number of women in the company desired him. He was everything she wasn't, everything she wanted. His single-minded focus was something Maira wanted directed at her, but was sure she'd never have.
The petite woman had been fluttering around the event in her Mary Jane costume when Luka first entered the party. She paused to listen when he expressed gratitude at the large turnout for the event and the work everyone put in to put the company ahead for the quarter.
Men and woman alike crowded around him, occupying his space and time. The urge to do the same, to put herself in his line of sight was strong, but self-consciousness kept creeping up on the 29 year old and prevented her from doing so as the night progressed. It was mostly the self conscious feeling she had being in this costume. While it was modest compared to some of the choices other women wore, the double takes from a number of men throughout the night let her know she was putting something on display that they weren't used to seeing. She didn't want Luka to think of her in a negative light.
The night continued one without a hitch and so she sat down to watch the show. As the only person on the team without a family to go home to, Leslie requested that she make sure the banquet hall was empty and that there were no drunk stragglers that could cause any trouble for the company by 3AM. Maira didn't factor in being intoxicated herself, but she would make sure the task was done. was a little after 2:15am and they'd already cut the music and raised the lights. Most of the crowd was already gone, but there were a few who clearly needed a cab home and a prayer. She made her way around the banquet room and halls, helping people who needed it and ushering others to the exit. Once back in the banquet room, she was surprised to find a familiar vampire stumble into the men's restroom thinking he'd left with the first wave of people.
A quick look around the room let her know that they were the last ones there. She swallowed the sudden lump in her throat and repeatedly smoothed out the invisible wrinkles of her clothes before walking toward the bathrooms. Luka likely could take care of himself, but Maira knew she would think about it all weekend if she didn't at least check to make sure he was fine. She leaned against the door and knocked two times. "Lu-Mr.Mitrovic are you alright in there?" She listened for a response but was greeted with silence. "The space is closing so we need to head out." Ear pressed against the door, she still heard nothing. Maira gnawed at her bottom lip, quickly weighing her options, but already knowing what she would do. She smoothed out those non-existed wrinkles once more and made sure her hair was secure before pushing open the door to step inside.
Luka acknowledged her presence in a slow turn, his eyes moving from her sneakers all the way up to her freckled face. She knew she wouldn't be able to stop the sudden burn underneath her cheeks from showing, but she flashed a small smile on her red lips as she walked to stand in front of him, taking his slightly slurred words. Not knowing her name made her chest tight with embarrassment as he confirmed her beliefs, but she didn't let it show.
"It's just Maira...and yes, I know about the Uber Mr.Mitrovic. I'm on the planning committee for the event. It's actually my job to make sure everyone gets home safely." She cleared her throat, her head tilting slightly. "Including you. Well, especially you." The last thing she wanted to deal with on a Monday was HR asking her why she thought it was a good idea to leave him alone in this state. "A cleaning crew will be here in the morning to take everything down and I made sure everyone was gone. You're the last straggler. Why don't we walk down together and we can share an Uber?" The thought of spending time alone together left her heart racing as she looked at him, her giddy eyes glassy and bright.

I have a love for the fantastical, the mundane, the terrifying, the nostalgic, and the innovative when it comes to stories. My tastes tend to lean into the macabre and just shy of extreme. I have no problem with you killing my characters off if done so eloquently. However, I do need balance and so feel good comedies, hope and adventure keep me sane. I often have both types running at the same time. In terms of smut...I mean I like it, I love it, I want some more of it…but within reason. Any sex needs to fit within the scene and doesn't need to span three full BMR pages. Beyond that, I like foreplay, I like build up, I like passion, I like fear, and I also like fun in those scenes so lay it on me in either a 40/60 or 60/40 smut to storyline ratio.
Some would consider me a literate writer who feverishly checks for grammar and spelling mistakes after she posts a response (I like living on the edge. What can I say?). On a typical day, I provide three to four meaty paragraphs that cover all the necessary information, plus a little more, to carry us along. On an excellent day and during a really charged moment in our story, I may provide a mini novella. While I tend to flee from one liners, I have enjoyed them when used as a trigger to a scene. As for ghosting, while I would prefer it didn't happen, the reality is that it does. If that turns out to be the case, there are no hard feelings, but do know that if someone wants to pick up where we left in our roleplay (and you have not indicated that you will ever come back to it) I will resume it with them if I still have a craving to continue the story.
All of this is to say that my goal is always to provide you with something you're excited to read and that further expands the world we create. I like getting to know my partner (platonically) and care about your well being and mental health, so if there are days where you can’t write or just want to talk or even take a breather to regain your creative juices, that works for me! This is our story, not my story. -
