Deep within the forested woodlands on the northern fringes of the Demacian nation, a lone solitary figure delved deeper into the leafy wilderness. Taking light but confident steps over the rugged terrain as she strode calmly onwards, a single glance would have been more than enough to reveal she wasn’t a simple traveller. Adorned in a combination of silken white fabric and pearly white light armor; Luxanna Crownguard had been dispatched to investigate a regional disturbance in the remote rural corners of her beloved country. Her initial assignment however had her assigned a bit more eastward, closer to the Noxian border where a band of suspicious individuals had been spotted sneakily scheming what was unmistakably no-good.

But her journey had been abruptly side-tracked as she attempted to take a nights rest within a small neglected settlement of Demacian villagers. Almost immediately they’d fallen to their knee’s and grovelled for her charitable assistance, offering her what little money they could scrounge up in the hopes that she’d heed their pleas. Terrified and desperate, the villagers claimed to have been terrorized by a mysterious beast of immense size and power that lurked within the nearby woodlands. While the local huntsmen had initially tried to hunt the beast themselves, such endeavors had been cut immediately short when one of the more courageous youths had experienced having a boulder thrown their way, scaring not only the youth, but the entire populace into a frenzy. And if that wasn’t bad enough the creature had begun pillaging their outermost crop, ruining their farming fields and at times destroying their sheds and stealing their tools. The menace seened to be encroaching on the villagers livelihoods bit by bit, and all were afraid that within a few moons their village itself would be flattened. Erased from existence along with the lives of each villager who’d been foolish enough to linger about.

While technically on an important errand herself, there was no way Luxanna could possibly ignore the plight of the people of Demacia. And if the rumors were proved to be true, she figured the presence of an unknown enemy lurking this deeply into her homeland was more than enough reason for her to take a short detour off course… even if it would take her a few extra days to arrive at her destination. She’d off course refused any payment, and for precautions sake she’d left her trusty steed behind at the village. Not wanting to risk the chance of being knocked off in the case of an abrupt ambush.

Within a few moments of arriving within the jungle-like woods, she’d immediately crossed paths with the scene of a wreckage. Witnessing the uprooted tree-trunks, and hollow craters where boulders once rested for herself, the Elementalist of Light couldn’t help but tightly grip the trusty sceptre by her side as adrenaline and a tinge of fear began to swell within her chest.
