The year was 2077. A time where a high percentage of cars had lost their wheels and the tallest of buildings had lost the majority of there concrete and stone structures to which had become a replacement with the strongest of glass known to man. It was a beautiful sight, both day and night. The beaming sun was blinding if you were unlucky enough to catch the reflection bouncing off the glistening structures. It always reminded Ciri of some sort of miniature disco globe when it happened. And if it rained, the sound of the water droplets tapping lightly and bouncing off the glass brought music to your ears. It was so peaceful for the moments that it lasted. Yet at night, all the multicoloured lights that shown off them were slightly more dimmed, yet still beautiful and bright enough to light up the entire streets, and city.
As much as the City was becoming more and more advanced by the year, there were still some sections that you could class as ‘normal’. It was normally hidden beneath the surface where the atmosphere was much darker and eerie. A place that is not recommended in travelling alone in. The crime rate is at its highest down below, especially Pacifica.
In these parts, it was common to see areas where small buildings and houses would still have been built with scrapped metal or thick planks of wood, but there were hardly classed as houses anymore. It was simple but harsh. If you could not keep up to date with those of a higher class, you were looked down upon and often targeted into becoming attacked for scraps.
It was just how she was as a person. Ciri has always preferred to work alone on missions, but today she had been informed via text that she was to have company. Someone by the name of ‘Vi’. She had never heard of her before and didn’t really let it play on her mind that much. Instead, she shoved her silver-white hair up into a messy pony-tail and headed outside towards her meeting point.
It was thankfully quieter than normal, with only a few groups of sketchy looking people walking around, but nothing that she saw as a threat; merely a bunch of kids trying to look hard rather than act it. The side streets beneath the ground were all narrow and bendy with wet grounds, carrying puddles everywhere across the uneven pebbled floor. As much as it was a nuisance, Ciri never complained about her surroundings, she, in fact, liked it, liked that it hadn't become advanced as the world above.

It had just turned 6 AM and Ciri was already awake. Being a morning person had its perks, but not when you lived below the surface and were unable to see the sunset rise and have it show off its beautiful warm colours.
Moments passed before she finally decided to lift herself up out of bed and toss down the sheets lazily, not bothering to make up her bed completely. Doing her usual morning routine, she showered and had her breakfast and shoved on her clothes. Black was her coloured and she was rarely seen without wearing it. Her leather boots came up just below her knees and her shorts barely covered her cheeks, making her figure all the more revealing. For her top half, she wore a tight, black cropped tank top and a red wine coloured leather jacket for that bit of warmth, but to her, it was just to add to the fashion style she was going for. Although the outfit was pretty basic, the straps that were attached and clung to her thighs held two large silver pistol that was sure to draw attention to anyone that passed. Weapons were common on these grounds, so it was no shocker or hint of fear to be thrown at others, but it very likely to put people on the edge, even in the slightest of ways; she wanted people to know she was not to be messed with or bothered at all for that matter.
