Rei tapped her pencil nervously as she waited for someone in the library. She was still in disbelief that she gets to tutor one of the most popular boys in school. She was an honor student so helping someone get their grades up was no problem for her. But she didn't know how she was going to fair with the boy she admired and had a big crush on. She fidgeted in her chair and looked at the clock every five seconds as she waited for him to show up.

Alice walked into the library with just a messenger bag full of random things. She was supposed to get tutored today. It wasn't that Alice was stupid, it was the issue of not being able to pay full attention in class, usually resulting in forgetting homework. For some reason, Alice was extremely popular with the ladies. She was fine with that, because she was a lesbian. But... There was one big issue. She... Was a guy. Since before junior high, people had easily misperceived her as a boy. So much so that she got in trouble when she went into the girl's bathroom.

Rei saw Alice enter the library and couldn't help but smile. She thought it was all a dream that she gets to tutor him. She tried not to act like a squealing fangirl since she was almost certain that Alice didn't care for that. She took a deep breath then smiled and waved at her new student.

Alice was always a little weirded out whenever she was thought of as a boy for one reason. Her name. Alice wasn't a boy's name. But pretty much any girl thought of it as something akin to Alice Cooper. Go figure. As she walked about, she spotted her tutor. Great. A girl. A girl who'd probably hit on her and think she was a boy. Oh well, weren't they all like that? Speaking of, the head cheerleader was in the library too, and pushed Alice onto a table, using her arms to keep the girl from escaping.

"Heya Al... Nice to see you here, cutie." She was the typical overdeveloped and oversexed sort of girl. Unfortunate, considering she was doing so much to prevent the cheerleader ditz stereotype from ever being removed.

Rei's smile faded when she saw Alice was intercepted by the head cheerleader. Great, now she going to take away their time together. She was never a fan of her's. She hated those overdeveloped snobs who think the world revolves around them. She was thinking about just leaving and let them have their time. It wasn't like she had a chance with him if she's going after him. However, as she thought it over she decided she was not going to led this opportunity pass by. She got up and confronted the girl "Excuse me, he doesn't have time for this. He needs to study" she said, trying to stand her ground.

Alice looked rather confused as the cheerleader had her pinned. There was even more of that look after the tutor girl had confronted her capturer. But the domineering cheerleader just looked over and sneered. "He-llo... I'm talking with my soon to be prom date. Isn't that right, dearie?" She looked over and shot Alice a look like she was going to force her to ask the girl to the dance.

Rei felt a little hurt that she was indeed after Alice but she didn't back down. She knew Alice turned down girls that ask him out which means that she didn't have a chance either but she didn't care. At least she gets to spend some time with him. Time that this girl was wasting "Whatever" she scoffed "You can talk to him later We have to study" she said, emphasizing on the "we"

"Well, little miss bitch... Why don't you go and 'study' yourself? You have a pen, use it for something worthwhile." The cheerleader glared at the girl with her hands on her hips, letting Alice get out of there. She slunk away from the two, wanting so bad to just facepalm and get out of there.

Rei was never one to let her anger get the better of her. She just scoffed "Whatever. Come on Alice, we have work to do" she said, ignoring the cheerleader as she walked back to her table, hoping Alice would follow.

Alice didn't follow her. Instead, the girl went to a completely different corner and laid her head into the corner, closing her eyes. It was secluded from any people who just casually looked over. Alice just anted to have something normal happen. Of course, that never happened.

Rei turned and saw Alice move to a corner. She went over to him. "What's wrong? Did I say something to upset you" she said, feeling like an idiot for acting like he was her property with the other girl.

Alice had a silent groan as she heard the other girl manage to find her and come up to her. "I'm fine." Was all she said. She even had a boyish timbre to her voice. The only way she could prove she was a girl was to pull out a birth certificate, or get naked. Neither of which was an easy option.

"Oh ok. Do you want to just get this over with" Rei asked, just wanting to tutor Alice and get out of here even though she was now alone with the boy.

"Sure. Whatever." She sighed softly. The tutoring wasn't going to do her much good, she was convinced. She had the knowledge. But she lacked care for her work. She lacked care at all, really.

Rei just nodded and led Alice back to her table. She was convinced that he was upset with her by the tone in his voice. She acted like an idiot with the other girl and she was sure that Alice didn't care for it since he has to put up with it all the time. She just stayed quiet as she took out her book and a sheet of paper.

Come to think of it, she didn't even know what subject she was having to deal with. She didn't really care. So she sat silently, waiting for the useless lesson to begin.

Rei took out the paper and started on math. She just instructed him what to do and gave him a pencil. "Hey, can I ask you something?" she asked as she prepared the next problem.

Alice took the pencil and began doing the problem, even without the cues. She just skipped half the steps though, doing most of it in her head. "Ask." She merely mentioned. Most the time, she only said one or two words.

"Well...why are falling behind?" Rei asked bluntly "I mean you seem like a smart guy and you just blew threw that problem so it doesn't look like you need a tutor" She could tell he did not need her help which mean they won't be spending as much time together as she thought.

Alice sighed as the question was asked. All she did was tilt her head towards the scored cheerleader, who was talking with her friends, ecstatic over the whole encounter, despite the whole exchange being rather pathetic for her. The cheerleader was absolutely gushing about it. "People... like her."

Rei looked confused for a moment then looked over to the cheerleader as she bragged to her friends. She just scoffed "Oh. I understand" she said as she put her book away "I guess you don't need me since you know everything already" she said, trying to hide her disappointment.

"They all distract me... I get dragged to a lot of parties and stuff... Can you tell me... Why does every girl in the school have a crush on me?" She leaned against the able, her elbows supporting both her hands, and her head, which was buried in them.

"ummm...I-I don't know" Rei said as she averted her gaze to hide her blush. She knew why she liked him but couldn't speak for the other girls. "Well....maybe i-if you had a girlfriend. They would leave you alone"

"Really?" She sighed. "Would you want to be my girlfriend... If I gave you the chance?" She figured it was a yes. Every girl did. She had no idea why. Maybe because she was actually a lesbian, and not a straight boy with effeminate features. It was like she was being teased.

Rei blushed deeper as she stared wide eyed at him. She was hinting at it but she never thought he would go for it due to his reputation. "I-I.." she staggered, thinking it was all a dream. "S-Sure"
