Good forum icons for guys?

I can't think of a good icon/avatar for here.

Having no icon might imply either I'm lazy, a noob, or just doesn't look that appealing. It also isn't too memorable.

Women have it easy. Images of sensual red lips, or a rose--femininity and sensuality is rife with imagry.I want to give the impression of erotic, sensual, and masculine, and can't think of a single thing that isn't Too strong (like a collar, a crop, etc) or too... bluh (like a bare chest).

Help me, BMR!

I agree that these default pics always leave a bad taste. When people like this PM me the first impression is always that it's a new, inexperienced person, or at least a person who isn't willing to put effort in the rp and is just looking for a quick fix.
Now of course that's not always true, but this is how first impressions work.
Of course I can't talk for the a ladies but personally I dislike overly sexualisized avatar pictures. They feel ... cheap to me. This obviously depends on what you are looking for here, if you are looking for quick and dirty masturbation material a manly man chest or a bulky biceps body might do the trick, if you are looking for a more narrative experience, for getting to know people even outside of rp then just pic an avatar that fits *you*, no need to project an idealized male image. Be yourself, maybe just use what you use on steam, Skype, Discord or Whatsapp.
Again, I can only talk for myself, but feel free to drop in pictures you consider if you are curious about other people's first impression there

I mean, take me as an exemple, I'm here for simply enjoying a story with my partner. so I simply went with something that fitted me.
And in my case, it's more on the cute side, because I'm more the cute type of man ratter than the big muscular one. and also the fact I'm way too kind for my own good! (It often bit me in the ass!)

Personally I don't judge people by icons - though I do prefer if someone has one. I suppose that sounds a little hypocritical haha, but while I prefer someone having a 'face' so to speak, a lack of one won't be a dealbreaker by itself. As a dude who enjoys slapping sexy anime babes on his profile as far as avatars go though, I do that for a number of reasons. 1) It sort of goes along with what i'm looking for. I'm here for a good time - i'm here to write what I enjoy (And enjoy what I write), and to me, I like writing with (And about) sexy girls. Additionally, I feel it gives a slight air of levity. I'm not looking to present a 100% serious persona at all times, and I feel an avatar like this shows that i'm not looking to be the most serious of folks. Finally, probably the largest reason is well... I like boobs. And i'm not going to shy away from that. And if someone looks at my avatar and goes 'Well I don't think i'll get along with them' over that, then that's OK. I doubt we would get along that well anyway.

I suppose what i'm trying to say is, go for something you enjoy. Which is probably pretty obvious, but still. don't try to impress others with something you may not 100% enjoy. Just go for what feels good. Whether that's a picture of a meteor, a catgirl, a giraffe or a knife, it's all good. Well, it's all good as long as you follow the rules. No hangin' dong in the avatar!

I judge if the icon is really out there. A bit sexy is one thing, porn icon is another.
Sometimes you can really see someone's personality through an icon. Sometimes not at all.
