Yoshi Satomi was just finishing up the preparations for his new house guest, fixing up the guest room for him to keep his things. He smirks slightly, not that he’d be using it much, he chuckles slightly at the thought. “He really is a naive young man... But so cute...” He spoke quietly to himself as he moved the last box of his stuff to the attic, clearing the closet for his things. His watch starts to beep and he smiles “Ah... Timing... I need to get dinner on...” He leaves the attic and heads down to the kitchen on the main floor.

He washed up, then takes the small roast from the fridge to season it, setting it in the pan as he moves to cut the vegetables. His guest would be arriving in a few hours and he going to give him a warm welcome. Food prepped and in the oven, he heads back upstairs to shower while it cooked, wanting to be ready when he arrived.

Tomoe Natsuka, he was a nice young man, if a bit clumsy, he was a hard worker when he wasn’t trying so hard. But the man had messed up on far to many things and he’d had to let him go. Or so he thought, he had not been expecting the man to get on his knees and beg for his job. So after a bit of negotiating, Yoshi came up with another idea. Tomoe would become his personal assistant, in a manner of speaking. He couldn’t wait to see the look on his face when he learned all he had signed up for.

Frankly he was shocked by the outcome of the days events. It had started off like any other, the blond fumbling his way around work, trying so hard to keep it together and then he had been called into his bosses office. That was never a good thing. In all of his job history, a invitation to the head honcho’s room typically did not mean that he was going to be praised, promoted or given an advance on his pay. No, it usually meant that he had screwed something up one too many times and that he was on his way out. It was no surprise that he had that same familiar feeling of dread in the pit of his stomach as he passed through the door, gently closing it behind him.

As he’d thought, the meeting was nothing more than an official statement to say that he was being let go. The only problem was that he couldn’t afford it! He was running behind on bills and rent, and his land lady was only willing to put up with so much. This job had been his last hope! Understandably, given the stress, it was hard not to drop to his knees and beg for a second chance. Yet, he was not given his job back. Instead, he was on his way to a new assignment.

Pushing the frames of his glasses up the bridge of his nose, his eyes took in the approaching image of the home he would be staying in. Instead of leaving him high and dry, his boss had decided to give him another chance and even better was the fact that it was as a live in worker! He would still get paid and not have to worry about rent!

As the taxi pulled up to the front of the home he got out and hauled his suitcase from the trunk and made his wat up to the door. Inhaling deeply to calm his nerves, the blond rang the bell. “Mr. Satomi?” He called out. “It’s Tomoe.”

He was just finishing up with dinner when he heard the knock to his door, he glances at his watch. “Hmm, tad early... Very good...” He removes his apron and cleans his hands, then heads to the door. He pulls it open and smiles softly, stepping aside to open the door wider and let him in. “Just on time... Dinner is just about ready.

He closes the door behind them and leads him to the stairs. “Top of the stairs, second door on the right... The bathroom is across from your room... Wash up and come down to eat, I don’t want it getting cold...” He smiles, then heads back towards the kitchen, he takes the plates out to the table. He pours a glass of wine for himself, or sure yet what his guest would drink. He waits for him to arrive before filling his plate.

Tomoe had never seen his boss without his work attire on, and seeing him there in the doorway, he had to admit it took him by surprise. He was rather handsome and even in casual clothes looked well put together. Clearing his throat he gave a nod, stepping across the threshold and following his employer inside what was to be both his new work place and home. Truthfully he didn't know all that much about Yoshi and it left him a bit nervous. " Ah, right thank you very much!" With that he hurried off to get settled in his new room. He didn't have all that much to unpack and so it was only a short bit of time before he was done and heading back down the steps.

Rounding the corner he moved to join the other man at the table, plating himself some food before scooting his chair in a bit. "So," He cleared his throat, fidgeting in his seat. "This is...Um it's a really lovely house. How long have you had it?" He asked, hoping to clear the awkwardness between them rather quickly. This was the perfect time to get to know his boss. "It's much grander than what I'm used to. Are you here by yourself?"

Yoshi was eating quietly as Tomoe got his food and took his seat, he glances at him at his question. He takes a sip of his wine and smiles slightly, nodding a bit. “Thank you... It was left to me by my parents, before they moved to Florida... I grew up in this house...” He takes another drink and looks at him again “My Father was a wealthy business man... He knew how to invest and gave me and my mother a good life...”

He was silent for a few minutes as they resumed eating, then he looks up again. “What about you... I don’t know much about you... Other then what was in your file at work... Do you have family? Or friends nearby, I assume you took a taxi, as I didn’t see a car out front..” He takes another drink “I’m sorry... Would you like anything else besides water?” He had forgotten to ask before.
