She snuggled deeper into her covers as the knocking continued to resonate through her room. It was the first day of summer and in her mind, it was too early to be awake. Reluctantly she called a soft come in as she fumbled to look for her phone to check the time. Her hazel eyes look at the time a swallowed the swear words that had came to mind as she spotted her parents. She looked at them expectantly as last weeks conversation came to her mind. They were leaving to start their vacation. She hadn’t been too thrilled at first to be left behind and in charge of her younger twin.

“Allison sweetheart your mother and I want to speak to you before we leave in half an hour,” dad says to me. “Meet us in your sister's room” he added leaving her on my but not before he kissed her forehead.

She lay back and look at the ceiling wondering what was it that they wanted to talk about. They had left pretty straightforward instructions for them. She shuffled out of my room and slowly made her way to her sister's room and knock before slipping inside. Both our parents are there and wave her to move closer. She looks at the mirror image of herself and takes a seat next to her. Allison had a slim athletic build from the sports she played and stood at 5'11.

“We know we spoke last night but we want to make sure you both understand that Allison is in charge. All the numbers are on the fridge in case of an emergency. Also please don't hesitate to call us if we need to come home.”Their mom said. “Please mind your sister Mitsu” she added.

“Please don’t worry. We’re not kids anymore. I’ll take care of Mitsu promise. She’ll be in one piece. Go before your late” Allison said with a roll of her eyes.

Honestly, she was a bit surprised they were leaving them on their own for so long. Her father was overprotective of them and still drove them to school and picked them up before going to work. Even when she was with her friends she was constantly checked on. Which drove her crazy at times she was looking forward to the freedom from being underfoot of her parents.
 
Mitsu had been sleeping peacefully as well at least until she would be woken up herself by their parents about the trip they would finally being going on and leaving the two now.

The girl herself was obviously shorter and only a year a two younger, being only 5’5 in height but equally as aggressive when she needed to be. Sitting up on her bed with a sigh and a stretch as everyone came together, mitsu just looked and listened with just a small nod as the girl went back under the covers once everything was done and they finally left, not being a normal person herself anyway at least being uninterrupted for the moment.
 
Allison watched as Mitsu went back to sleep and smiled. She closed the door to the room before following her parents downstairs to close the door as the left before she herself crawled back into bed. She wasn't sure how long she had slept but felt much more refreshed now. She looked at the time and wondered if Mitsu was awake. She made her way to the bathroom and did her normal routine before checking on her sister.

"Hey, Mitsu are you up?" She asked knocking lightly on her door when she heard no movement. She waited for a few minutes for a reply but then went down tot he kitchen to figure out what they would eat for breakfast. She smiled and pulled out the pancake battered and made enough for them. With practiced ease, she started to cook hoping the smell of the food would draw her sister out.
 
And eventually it did work though not because of the food, but it was more that it was finally time to wake up herself, going to the bathroom with a yawn and coming down as her steps could be heard coming into the room and on the couch now watching tv as she relaxed and waited as always. “ finally...food then...” softly exclaiming as she slowly woke up more.
 
"Good morning" she called out as she heard the tv turn on and finished making breakfast. She finally plated the food and place it on the island. " What do you want to drink?" She called as she poured herself some OJ.
Allison poked her head out the kitchen and smiled slightly despite her uncertainty of looking after her sister she really didn't mind that much. She missed spending time with her as well but with sport and her friends she had grown apart from the younger girl.

She grabbed the plate and her choice of drink and brought it over to Mitsu before joining her. "Do you have anything planned for the day?" Allison asked softly.
 
“Just regular water or even soda.” Slowly getting up with a stretch and another yawn before finally sitting down to the food and starting to eat with her phone set beside the plate and an earphone in. “ mmmm not really, I don’t really plan stuff than what I even just usually do at home..” giving a shrug and a glance before turning a bit to the tv. “ guessing you might be going somewhere or what?” Wondering how she couldnplan stuff and what today was for her specifically.
 
She rolled her eyes not understand her unhealthy habit of drinking soda so early in the morning. She took a bite of her pancakes and looked at her own phone as she ate. a few of her friends had just asked her to join in a scrimmage they had set up at the park. "Now I do. I'm going to go play basketball." She answered. "Can you wash the plates I'll take care of everything else when I get back. Also if you go out let me know where you're going and with who."She said thinking of everything her mother said to them when she was home. "Oh and Mitsu don't drink all the soda," She said as she finished her breakfast in a few bites to get ready to meet her own friends.
 
“ jeez your just gonna leave me with a boring day...” obviously pouting and hating the fact with annoyance they wouldn’t even want to hang out and it would be a stupid first day of her being watched by Allison. “ jeez fine, whatever.” Giving a shrug then as she continued to eat and just relax herself while her sister would leave.
 
Allison sighed she knew she had said she would spend time with her but really wanted to play basketball and spend her day with her friends since seeing each other before everyone went away had been agreed on. "I'll make it up to you I promise" She called from the stairs looking at her sister. She groaned and headed to her room. She quickly changed into a tank top and shorts before grabbing her basketball. Allison stopped by her sister and did what she hadn't done in years and kissed her temple. "I shouldn't be gon all day then it's you and me," she said softly looking at her sister
 
Mitsu rolled her own eyes mostly ignoring it being obviously annoyed a bit with the fact she would choose her friends over her. The girl didn’t really say anything really and put the other earphone in starting her time by herself before eventually finishing and putting her plate away before going up to the room then back down to the couch as she laid with the blanket with the tv and her phone for most of the time now.
 
Allison sighed and left the house when she didn't get an answer from Mitsu. Her walk to the park was a quick and short one. Her friends were throwing the ball around and talking to a few other people she recognized from another school. Once spotted she was greeted and the game started. The game ended close to noon and her team winning. She waved bye and started to head back home. As she turned the corner once out the park she painfully ran into a girl who looked much younger than her. Her hazel eyes instinctively swept over the girl sprawled in front of her. As she helped her up and apologized not before noticing how much she reminded her of Mitsu when they were younger and she had been attached to her hip being taken everywhere. She knew she was at fault for not making time for her sister. She hoped to make that right this summer.
 
Mitzi at home eventually did her usual lazy things as she did being with the snacks, games, and sleep on the couch with the last thing being that she would be in her room again and in her bed deciding to sleep again for a while then leaving the house empty and quiet for her return as she wouldn’t really care at all but again still hold that annoyance for a while that her sister would have easily known she would do.
 
Allison got home and frowned at the silence that was present in the house. She quickly made her way upstairs to check Mitsu's room. She let out a long sigh at not finding her sister in her room. She made her way to her own room and through her bag to the corner and went to shower but not before sending out a message out to Mitsu.

I asked you to tell me if you were going out

Her shower was short and made her way to the kitchen to clean up the mess from the morning only to do what she had asked hadn't been done. Rolling her eyes at her sister reaction to her leaving she cleaned everything in the kitchen. She started on dinner for them while she made a large salad for herself she made chicken and mashed potatoes for Mitsu.
 
The phone started to vibrate under the bed, groaning as Mitsu turned on her back and checked in before sending a text, “ I didn’t, just did my regular lazy stuff or eat, sleep, play.” Again sitting up and going for the bathroom before coming back under her blanket again waiting for Allison to call her or not for anything downstairs.
 
Allison looked over at her phone when it pinged and read the text message. She sighed, she hadn't seen her sister in the bed at all but didn't let it bother her. It took another twenty minutes for her to finish making the food before she found herself at the bottom of the stairs. "Mitsu the food is done!" She called. she took a seat in the dining room table listening for the sound of her sister moving about upstairs to come down to eat. She fiddled with her phone as she continued to wait. she had a few miss calls from her friends as well as texts. She replied and advised that she would be busy for the rest of the summer only to be bombarded with more questions than she had wanted to be. She answered vaguely that she had been told to take care of her sister and was feeling guilting for having left her to her own devices for the first day.
 
And there was indeed sounds upstairs, finally making it down the hall and down the stairs with slow steps as if she had slept a sleeping giant though with the obvious irony of being short. Making her way to the table, mitsu sat down and leaned back starting to eat with the tv on of course as she usually did when she was downstairs eating, going back to her phone as well and otherwise ignoring her sister unless she would ask or say something so she could answer normally.
 
Allison started to eat once she saw her sister. She wasn't entirely sure how to start a conversation with the girl since the only thing that seemed to hold them together was the fact that they were siblings. As she ate she took the time to look over her sister. She stared at her face gone was the baby fat that she had been so used to, the lower her eyes traveled the more she noticed how much she had matured despite not really gaining any height. Her curves where clearly define and visible to her despite the choice of sleepwear. Allison tore her eyes away immediately when she realized that she was sexualizing Mitsu. "So Mitsu do you want to watch a movie with me or something like that?" She asked finally breaking the silence that had surrounded them.
 
Mitsu continued to relax casually luckily being completely focused on the tv then to change the channel or see what was going on of course or switching to her phone being a commercial or something else before going back to eating again quietly. “ well there are some though that have already come out, was hoping to get mom so we could go before they left though.” Giving a shrug and wondering if she was talking about taking or just renting it then. “ that’s fine though if you want....” not really minding to do that then at all for the moment.
 
A bit of relief flooded her as Mitsu all but agreed to watch a movie. "How about we check if it's available for rent off the cable box. If not we'll figure out when the movie is playing and go see it" she replied after a few moments. "And if it rated R we'll have to wait or see if a good quality one is on one of the movie streaming sites." She added. "Do you have any plans with your friends?" She asked curiously.

Allison was a bit curious about her sisters social since she didn't know or even by passing here about spending time with anyone. With her own realization of how beautiful her sister had become, she found it hard to believe that she didn't have friends or wasn't seeing anyone. If she wasn't her sister she'd be asking her out.
 
“That’s fine then...” shrugging before going off and getting the remote to sit on the couch and check on the movies she would be interested in watching herself then. “ hmmm well guess I’ll check...” getting busy with herself for a no as mitsu wrapped herself in the blanket and laid back before actually managing to find a movie and put it on then. “ jeez wish I was busy like you like that. Don’t really have friends, it’s mostly a weird idea that like I have a few people I know who are like close to me calling them a friend but also not. You obviously know how the quiet and people who just do their own thing are.” Casually glancing at her but not really caring as she also felt it was mostly nice to be alone and not be tied so much to those friends.
 
She made her way to the kitchen and washed their dishes as she searched for the movie. She listened to her sister and frowned as she said she didn't have any 'friends'. Why granted she was quiet and like to do her own things but it wasn't as if was unapproachable and a mean spirited teen. She hummed lightly trying to see if she could include her sister in a few of her own activities to get her out the house. She was sure sports where out but maybe convince her to join them to go to an amusement park. Finishing up she made her way to the living room and took the free spot on the couch. "what have you chosen?" She asked grabbing the other throw blanket as her eyes focused on the screen trying to identify the movie.
 
“ it’s one of the hero movies haven’t seen yet.” Deciding to let her see it herself then when the title would come, laying back more as they finally both relaxed at home with something then. “ jeez what to even do.” Trying to think for a while with stuff for herself even if there wasn’t much time for them to be together with her sisters friends but still not having anything than the same thing today as Mitsu didn’t really plan anything at all with things to do.
 
"That's great. I heard the movie is really good" she said getting more comfortable. "Had to go to a game so I couldn't go see it. So, Mitsu still get scared with scary movies" she asked curiously as the opening credits still played. Also she wanted to get rid of the awkward feeling that seem to hang around them. She wanted to repair what she had neglected when she started high school and refused to take Mitsu anywhere with her.
 
“ why would you think I wouldn’t? And just had no one take me to the movies when it came out until I guess finally having it like this..” giving a shrug before going to get snacks and lay down again as they watched the and relaxed at home. “ guess I can get back to my games tomorrow too.” Not minding or caring as that particular game was actually a port of an old but good game she never experienced before until on the system she played it on. “ gonna grind the high rank monsters to make the cool armors for some of them.”
 
"Just asking and we're older you know. Sometimes we outgrow getting scared by movies." She said with a shrug. Allison groaned as Mitsu made the comment of her video games. "You know. Your games have made you into a hermit" she pointed out "How about you come to the movies with me and my friends?" She asked
